Okay, so Astrology Time Shane here at DailyAstraCat.com. And today, hey everybody, is Monday, it's the 16th of February. So the moon's going to be in Aquarius all day long. So it's President's Day here in the United States of America. So that means it's school vacation week here in Massachusetts. Mercury trines Jupiter in Cancer at 4 31 p.m. Now remember, those are perfections, right? We've already been under the influence of this, and we will continue to be under the influence of this for, oh, say like another week or even two, right? Mercury's going to be going retrograde. It's going to start slowing down on Sunday coming up, right? So we're going to see that Mercury, Jupiter thing a couple of times. Once, twice, thrice usually is how it works, especially when it's at this particular juncture. So we will have a once, twice, thrice with Mercury and Jupiter. And that's going to be very, very interesting, okay? Because we have Jupiter, Jupiter in Cancer Exalted. We have Mercury in Pisces, which is both in detriment and fall, but that activates different section sectors of our brain in a way that even like for non-natives, it's going to be very it'll be a foggy time. You won't really know how you're going to be moving forward unless you listen to some of the tips here, right? So this is going to be an important theme for the upcoming Mercury retrograde. Told you once, twice, thrice, feature prominently. Now, Mercury and Pisces is both in detriment and fall. Now, traditionally, Mercury does not like it in Pisces, right? Because the thoughts they don't come in a consistently logical fashion. Think about it. Like, you know, Mercury is the ruler of Virgo. Yeah, precise, logical. Mercury is the ruler of Gemini. Scattered, but brilliant, right? Uh all over the place. Yes, those those are the kind of things that we're used to, right? We're used to that brilliance, that that that that that logic, that pinpoint, that that communication. That's why I'm tripping over my words, right? Mercury is in Pisces. Now, with that being said, let's think about this. Mercury in Pisces is very intuitive. So if you're missing on the if you can't get the words out, or you can't really pinpoint what the thoughts are, you can usually feel them and you can convey it through feelings and through um metaphor, through emotions. It's intuitive, it thinks abstractly. It doesn't always connect things linearly, right? That linear fashion, that's more like those other uh those other guys, right? Mercury and Virgo. Linear. Mercury and Pisces, mmm, it can be all over the place, right? Um now it's easy to get lost in one's own thoughts and possibly avoid them altogether because Mercury is in Pisces. Keep this in mind. You just don't want to get to that point. You want to keep this in mind because we're going to be talking about this a little bit later on today, too. The moon is conjunct Mars and Sextile Chiron today. This sets a stage for tomorrow's new moon in Aquarius, and today's key word is rehearsal. Hmm, that's a loaded word, right? I like that. Now, the color is purple jade. Aquarius season is wrapping up, and the dri uh is and the drive for innovation, bettering society, and unique expression will not be fading. Hmm, what do you mean here? Instead, these threads that I just mentioned uh need to be incorporated into the fabric of what we are currently experiencing and woven into a tapestry that we are creating, we're weaving in real time. So, in other words, these threads are gonna be continuous, and it's gonna be one whole cloth that we're gonna make out of this upcoming Chinese New Year. Now, that might be a good way, uh it's a nice metaphor for something, right? We're gonna restart the zodiacal cycle when we get to the uh to springtime, right? To the inqu to the equinox. So what we're really looking at is we've got cycles within cycles. That's one of my constant themes. That's one of the things that I love. But I like this carrying over some of that energy because what happened was uh all that energy that's in Aquarius now, we're still gonna have Pluto and Mars still in Aquarius, even after the sun and Mercury and Venus all move into Pisces. This is important, this is something that we have to remember because this is our drive. This is what Pluto's mission is, right? That societal change, that change that we're gonna be undergoing. And Mars is there to help it, Mars is there to see it happen, Mars is there to innovate for us, all right? Mars is a personal planet, it's not that that, oh, society in general. Leave that crap to Pluto. Mars is about us adapting to the things that we need to do in order to be moving forward with the plans that we need to be moving towards. And it's gonna change in a big way. Now, we get the set to tone. Think about this. This is a great opportunity because it's a celebratory feeling that's in the air. Because tomorrow's Mardi Gras. Mercury and Jupiter are where we are headed. Mercury in Pisces, because it's what's gonna be there till the 20th of March. Okay. Um, and it's gonna be there even beyond that. So we're gonna be have to get used to this kind of energy from Mercury for a while. Now, because that Mercury that retrograde begins and it's not gonna end till the 20th of March. So think about that. Now, Mars and Pluto are what we are striving to change. Okay, so Mercury and Jupiter are where we are headed. Mars and Pluto are what we are striving to change. It is our reminder of what it is that we must do. So today we're gonna gather some information, but we're gonna skip over the obvious, okay? What I want you to do is try to observe everything, okay? Just observe and see what kind of signs are being sent your way. I love it because some people put pictures of crows and stuff like that, or or you know, they'll see hawks or eagles or ravens. I mean, birds are constant, birds are reminders. Um, you know, they fly up in the sky and they're just wonderful reminders of what is you know beyond our experience because they get to experience the world in a totally different way. Um almost a uh almost a mystical way, right? So we're gonna gather that information, observe everything, and see what comes your way. Now, what are the signs that are out there? They're there, but can your mind be open enough to receive them? Okay. Now, natural curiosity is one of the great things about air signs, such as Aquarius, right? The ability to place such a high premium on thoughts, ideas, and lines of inquiry from an intellectual standpoint is enviable. Now, Mercury trine. Jupiter is testing this, and some folks are gonna find this very, very challenging, okay? Because this this is not about that that logical progression or anything like that. This is about our home, our base, shoring up what it is that we need to do. Um because it's cancer things, right? So we're we're really just working on that home base, and that that expansive Jupiter in the in the sign of cancer where it's exalted, is gonna be like the best expression of what it is that we are doing or trying to currently do for ourselves and our our our living situations. It's just what we're trying to build for a home for ourselves. Uh it would be even more interesting with um it's made even more interesting because at some point Uranus will be sextile with Jupiter before will it be before he uh he leaves Taurus? Because that's where some changes are gonna be happening as well. So let's think about this. Um we're gonna open up to some new possibilities today. That's how we're gonna get beyond this. If we do if we can't really handle that that Mercury in the in the fog thing of the Mercury being intuitive, Mercury having to be think abstractly and nonlinearly, then what we're moving towards is uh revamping our understanding of our karmic mission here. Whoa, where'd that come from? Mercury and Pisces. Um the nodes, they're moving, and that's what's gonna start showing that because uh the normal progression would be Pisces Virgo, but this eclipse is in Aquarius. Very, very interesting. Now we're moving, right? We're moving, we're revamping it, we're doing it. The the shifting of the nodes, that's something that happens. That's that notation thing that I mentioned the other day, the other day, right? Notation, n-u-t-a-t-a-i-o-n. Now, expanding knowledge today can influence and impact future generations because we need to see we need to help others to see what we and they are capable of. That's how we're gonna do it. We can use our experiences to help others through similar challenges, and similar challenges to what we are facing, especially if they're mental or physical. Okay, we've got the sextile chiron thing going on. Um, you know, it's our own experiences being able to help us to move forward and impart that knowledge upon other people. Look, uh we just need to know that as Mercury goes retrograde, uh, Mercury's also gonna do a slow dance with Venus. That brings the divine female back into the picture, right? It seems like we haven't been talking about her for a while. And it's not because she's on the back burner, it's because all this energy in Aquarius and stuff like that was really focusing on some societal unrest. Um, but now we're gonna get back to some of that uh female energy. And as we deepen into the Pisces season, that becomes more and more evident, especially with Neptune in that first degree of Aries. We're gonna see some things that are gonna be coming out, some expressions, some artists that may emerge, right? All of that stuff. Now, we may be sensing things that are beyond. Now, think about this. Mercury, after that slow dance with Venus, is gonna be in Pisces for an extended period. So please get comfortable with this kind of mental energy and and the the mode of thinking and feeling that we're gonna be uh experiencing. We may be sensing things that are beyond what we have the capacity to describe. Be here for it. So, in 1923, Howard Carter opens the inner burial chamber of Egyptian pharaoh Tuntageman's tomb and finds the sarcophagus. And just like that, the world is suddenly aware of King Tud, and our imaginations really haven't been the same since then. And our birthday is another person that's very inspiring, born in 1878, Pamela Coleman Smith. She's uh described here as a British British suffragist, writer, and artist. You know her from her designs on the Ryder Wait tarot cards. That's right, the classic deck. She was born in Middlesex, England, and she died in 1951.
