God fulfilled His promise to Abraham made over 400 years before: He delivered the people of Israel from bondage in Egypt and now they move out with nothing ahead but wilderness and the Red Sea. A test of faith awaited. Trapped between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army the people of Israel were about to witness a glorious display of God's power and mercy towards His people.
