It was time for God to enter into a covenant with His people. All God wanted was to make out of the Israelites a holy nation and that through them the nations of the world will get to know who the Creator was. Israel prepares to host God in mount Sinai and God descends to give them the "10 commandments". A law based on the fundamentals of love by a loving God.
