God had taken His people to the borders of the promised land. They arrived at Kadesh and were about to enter the promised land but, first, there was one more test ahead. 12 spies were sent to scout the land and report back what they saw... what transpired after was, again, the human sinful and distrusting nature in full display. The results of their actions cost them 40 years of wandering in the desert.
