Israel is just but a "town" away from entering the promise land... yet again faith stumbles. Their complaining had led even Moses to sin and now they found themselves having to go back into the dessert and walk around the land of Edom. Of course, once again they open their mouth in complaints against God and this time, there were consequences to their lack of faith in God...
God is good, ALL THE TIME. Still, not even God can do something on behalf of those that want nothing to do with Him.
