Alex speaks to Dr Rosemary Mazanet about her work with US-based producer of cannabis medicines Columbia Care.
Dr Mazanet joined Columbia Care’s Scientific Advisory Board as Chair in 2015 and became Chief Scientific Officer in 2017. She has previously trained in Internal Medicine and Oncology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute before starting her industry career at Amgen in the early 1990s as the head of Clinical Research. She then moved to Oracle Partners LLC and has been a presence in public and private equity biotech and speciality pharma investments.
