Xavier [0:27 - 0:47]: Hello and welcome to another edition of the New to Wrestling podcast. This week we watch the raw is war. January 12, 1998 edition. And the match card is as follows. In our opening contest, we have the New Age Outlaws, the Godwins and the Headbangers. What? 

Kelsey Silva [0:48 - 0:50]: That just took me so off guard. 

Xavier [0:50 - 0:51]: No, I love it. I'm. 

Kelsey Silva [0:52 - 0:55]: I, I thought you were saying like. And we watched something else and I panicked. 

Xavier [0:55 - 0:57]: Like, what else was it? 

Kelsey Silva [0:57 - 0:59]: What else was I supposed to watch? 

Xavier [0:59 - 1:01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Just, just. 

Kelsey Silva [1:01 - 1:07]: You just put a little pizzazzle on it. Okay, that's my bad. I'm sorry to dull your light. Please continue.

Xavier [1:10 - 2:31]: All right, guys. So the match card is as follows. We have the New Age Outlaws, the God Wins. The Headbangers and the Truth Commission, Ra Recon and Sniper in a fatal four way tag team championship match. To open the show. Kurgan takes on Jimmy Cicero and Lance diamond in a two on one handicap match. Vader takes on Mark Miro. Ken Shamrock and Mark Henry take on the Nation of Domination. The Rock and DLO Brown. The Disciples of the Apocalypse take on the Rock and Rollins Express. If you are not a new wrestling fan. Yes, the same Rock and Roll Express. If you are new. We'll get into it when we get there. Mankind takes on Gold Dust. And in our main event, we have Los Boriquas taking on Taka Michinoku and Scott Taylor, which is kind of like as far as main events go crazy. And I guess they kind of like got away with doing it because it's not like the main, main event because they're still like segments that happen. But that's it, guys. Hello. Hello. Welcome to the show. If you are new here, you are in luck. That is Kelsey. She is also new here. If you are not so new here, I am Xavier and I'm here to help you out. 

Kelsey Silva [2:31 - 2:33]: All right, thank you. 

Xavier [2:33 - 3:05]: All right, guys, let's get into. Well, before we get into this one, we always like to share when we reunite in person. And this weekend we reunited in person for a grand time. It was like, it was like just like 24 hours of madness. Yeah, but it was great. It was absolutely fantastic. We saw a wrestling show in our area. Yeah, it was a grand time. 

Kelsey Silva [3:05 - 3:33]: It was fabulous. It was my first time seeing. I think it was my first time seeing the independence like, like in real life, like actually seeing them in person. Because I've watched matches on YouTube. YouTube before, seen other things, but in, in person, girl, it's A time that was so amazing. The community there was so cool. Everyone was so nice and they were having a key. They were having the time of their lives. I was like, I'm trying to uber here next time. 

Xavier [3:33 - 3:41]: No, literally. Cuz it felt like everyone just like, knew each other. Like everyone was just like in each other's like, business, but like in the best way possible. 

Kelsey Silva [3:41 - 3:54]: Yeah, we were the obvious, like New Kids on the Block, but for sure was very, very kind, very, very nice. We had such a nice time, we accidentally ended up back when we were trying to get. 

Xavier [3:54 - 3:55]: Oh, that was crazy. 

Kelsey Silva [3:55 - 4:16]: Okay, can I tell this story really quickly? So we pull up, we pull up. The, the doors were at 7. First bell was at 8. And you know, we pull up and it's like 7:58, because I am trash. So we pull up and I run to the first store I see and there's men outside. And I'm thinking they're like the bouncers. They're going to check our IDs, got whatever. 

Xavier [4:17 - 4:21]: And they, in my head, they did not give that vibe. 

Kelsey Silva [4:21 - 4:45]: Okay. Xavier and I had extremely different experiences for these next 10 minutes. Like I. I was having a time and I think Xavier was having a panic attack because you. Here's the thing. I will say this about women. We don't get much, but I do get pretty privilege. And I will bimbo 316 my way through anything. I'll be like, I'm sorry, where do I go? Oh. Oh my God. 

Xavier [4:45 - 4:51]: Yeah. No, no one cares. No one cares that I don't know where I am. Like, no one wants to help me out. 

Kelsey Silva [4:52 - 4:59]: But you have, you have man privilege where it's like you can go anywhere and no one's gonna question you. No one's gonna be like, what are you doing here? 

Xavier [4:59 - 4:59]: Right? 

Kelsey Silva [4:59 - 5:43]: But if they do question me, I'm gonna be like, what? Oh, I'm sorry. I just so turned around. Okay. Like, so we walk up, I thought the. These guys are ripping cigarettes. And I'm like, hi. Like. And they're like, oh, are you. I thought they said, are you here for the wrestling or xyz? And I said, oh, we're the wrestlers. Like, we're here for the wrestling. And that was interpreted as. Because no one knows me and knows the way the story. Stupid way in which I communicate. So I go, oh, we're the wrestlers, girly. We're here for the wrestling. He thought we were legitimately like part of the show. Part of the show. So he goes, okay. So first of all, the most confusing directions the fastest I've ever heard anyone speak to me. 

Xavier [5:43 - 5:47]: And they were. I was like, it was left, left, left. And then you're gonna go through a. 

Kelsey Silva [5:47 - 5:58]: Door and then take a left and then go through. But we walk in and it's like a. It's like a VFW bar. The door he wants us to go through says restrooms. I'm like, that just isn't. That just doesn't make any sense. 

Xavier [5:58 - 6:04]: Right? That full against any like, inclination of what I should do there. No. 

Kelsey Silva [6:04 - 6:27]: 100%. 100%. And I'm like, so either way to, to get to the. The good part where they said. And God, God bless. They were doing a 12 bell salute for a wrestler who had passed. And so no one was in the backstage area. So we go up and I'm like, do we walk through this door? Like there's like the entrance, like curtains. Like I'm. It's a gorilla. I'm like, I'm very. 

Xavier [6:27 - 6:38]: And I'm just like in my head having like watched so much wrestling. I was like, that entrance, like, that's where they're coming out. I was like, we're going to be like part of the show if we go out there. 

Kelsey Silva [6:38 - 6:40]: And thank God we didn't. 

Xavier [6:40 - 6:40]: Cuz right. 

Kelsey Silva [6:40 - 6:53]: Imagine us busting out because by the way. Yeah, by the by, I'm caked up. I got makeup like this. I'm wearing a leather. A leopard coat. Like a big leopard coat. I look crazy. 

Xavier [6:53 - 7:01]: Yes. Can I say we did the classic us thing where we did a thing and forgot to take a picture. But continue. 

Kelsey Silva [7:03 - 7:13]: We do this all the time either way. So we're back there and suddenly the 12 bell salute ends. Like 30 wrestlers, right? Just pouring in and this. 

Xavier [7:13 - 7:22]: Guys, there's a battle royal on the card. So like there's just like extra people that like wouldn't even be like on the card. Like I was. Oh man. 

Kelsey Silva [7:22 - 7:32]: So dozens of wrestlers start pouring into the backstage, which by the way is a 4 by 4 foot dorm room size. It's so small, right? And we're like this. 

Xavier [7:32 - 7:43]: And Kelsey's literally gets pinned behind the door. I don't even see her anymore. And I'm literally just getting shuffled like. 

Kelsey Silva [7:43 - 7:46]: Through restaurants, almost down the stairs and like thrown. 

Xavier [7:46 - 8:02]: Because like, in theory, like this is a dream I've had and I, I like this. In actuality, I'm so overwhelmed by what's happening. And there's just like, just wrestlers everywhere and they barely know where to go because this is like the first time they're there. 

Kelsey Silva [8:02 - 8:02]: Here. 

Xavier [8:03 - 8:10]: And, like, so, like, they're like, talking to each other, like, where to go? And I'm like, I could not be in a worse place. 

Kelsey Silva [8:11 - 8:29]: So when once I got behind the door, I felt. I felt safe, right? I was. I was like, chit chatting with one of the wrestlers who was there because he. He was so nice. I get behind the door and I'm kind of holding it, and he goes. He goes, hey, hey, everybody, be careful. There's a lady behind this door. And I was like, thank you. 

Xavier [8:29 - 8:31]: Yeah, see, they would have let that crush me. 

Kelsey Silva [8:32 - 8:33]: They would said, bye, girl. 

Xavier [8:34 - 8:35]: There was a move. 

Kelsey Silva [8:36 - 9:00]: Yeah. They would say, get back from behind it. But I was like, oh, my God, thank you. And then he, like, protected me until. And that's why I love wrestlers. But then we were like, okay, so this isn't the entrance. And we had to skirt. Skirt our way outside the building, back around through the thing that, like, yo. When we finally found our way. But it was. I said to Xavier, I was like, I'm just saying, maybe it's a glimpse into our future. So I'm gonna take it that way. 

Xavier [9:00 - 9:04]: Yeah, it was wild. I. I hope in the future I'm more prepared. 

Kelsey Silva [9:04 - 9:20]: Yeah, I. I just. And I'll wrap it up by saying, you know, when people talk about getting into, like, oh, if you really want to make a difference in politics, you get into your local government. The independence is wrestling's local government. Like, I really got. I really got a glimpse of that. And it was. 

Xavier [9:21 - 9:32]: Well, you. It gave me like, a new. Like a new definition. Like, oh, this is grassroots. This is what that means. Like, this is the community coming together for a thing. Like, this is lovely. 

Kelsey Silva [9:32 - 9:38]: I mean, and when I see. When I see a raffle in a. In a plastic beer pitcher, I know I'm safe. 

Xavier [9:39 - 9:40]: You know, I know I'm safe. 

Kelsey Silva [9:40 - 9:53]: I know the girlies are going to do what the girlies are going to do. When I see that beer pitcher raffle, I'm ready collecting tickets and that. And, yeah, it was incredible show. Every wrestling match was sensational. 

Xavier [9:53 - 9:55]: Like, yeah, it was a lot of fun. A lot of fun. 

Kelsey Silva [9:55 - 10:01]: Wonderful. Such a great time. So, yeah, crazy. 

Xavier [10:01 - 10:22]: Yeah. And of course, because I'm me, I filled it with, like, more wrestling. The first night I was there, I got. It was like a. Like a evening into the next day kind of trip. So the first night I was there, we ended up starting to watch the elimination chamber, the most recent one, because of all the tea and all the stuff that's going on, and I was Like, Kelsey, you have to watch this. 

Kelsey Silva [10:22 - 10:23]: It was so good. 

Xavier [10:23 - 10:39]: I needed her to watch Jade Cargill return because I knew that she was gonna eat that up. I fell asleep during the Tiffy and Trishy time, but Kelsey stayed up and watched it because I love Nia Jax. 

Kelsey Silva [10:40 - 11:08]: Nia Jax. I was gonna say Nia Long for some reason, but not Nia Long. Better. Nia Jax. I love her. I know she is. She is, like, the villain of my heart right now. I don't know. I don't know that much about modern wrestling that's happening in the present day because I try to stay in our little pocket, but I love to take little trips, and I love. Anytime I see Nia Jax, I'm. And then we watched the man elimination chamber the next day. 

Xavier [11:08 - 11:09]: Oh, yes. Yes. 

Kelsey Silva [11:09 - 11:13]: Which is also fierce. But honestly, Jay Cargill's never looked better. 

Xavier [11:14 - 11:15]: That was awesome. 

Kelsey Silva [11:15 - 11:20]: Bianca's never looks better. Naomi has never looked honestly. 

Xavier [11:20 - 11:30]: And I've never been more interested in Naomi. Like, finally, give me some sauce. Like, give me some sauce. Like, don't get me. I love the glow, love the dance, love the neon, but, like, better. 

Kelsey Silva [11:30 - 11:31]: Better rates. 

Xavier [11:31 - 11:41]: This is great. I love this. Like, oh, like, I'm jealous. Like, you just, like, waltzed in. Now you're just gonna take my spot. I love it. 

Kelsey Silva [11:41 - 11:49]: But you know what? Again, like, sometimes you just need the. The foil. You need a foil for your. Your character to, like, really take you to the next level. 

Xavier [11:50 - 11:50]: Correct. 

Kelsey Silva [11:50 - 12:05]: And Jade. The reason I know Jade Cargill so more than most is because it was when we used to watch aew when she was at aew, and I was right. This is fierce. I love her so bad. So when she made her way to wwe, I was like, this is it. I'm. 

Xavier [12:05 - 12:34]: And because they're back on like, that, that they're on Netflix and blah, blah, blah, blah, and they're kind of getting, like, slightly more edgier. They' you know, I think they realize, like, kids are not, like, as innocent as they were when they were rating things rate, you know, PG and whatever. So nowadays, like. Like, she's. She's going by her, like, the moniker. She's. She's going by that again. And I'm like, yes. 

Kelsey Silva [12:34 - 12:43]: And period. And it's true. We live in the age of information. Like, just unfortunately, the kids are just not as innocent as they used to be. You can look anything up, right? 

Xavier [12:43 - 12:45]: The kids are all right. I don't know. We're gonna. 

Kelsey Silva [12:45 - 12:49]: We're gonna find out the. The implications of that in the next decade or so. 

Xavier [12:49 - 12:54]: But right, whatever. That's the next decade. We gotta get there first. So. 

Kelsey Silva [12:54 - 13:01]: Yeah. And if it's, if it's lending itself to fabulous character development, who am I to stop it, you know? So it was a great weekend. 

Xavier [13:01 - 13:02]: Amen. 

Kelsey Silva [13:02 - 13:03]: Wrestling. Lots of wrestling. 

Xavier [13:03 - 14:12]: Amen. And then I slept. And then I slept so long. Yeah. But we love to see it and thank God. But. All right, guys. So we are on the final stop before Royal Rumble 1998. I'm very excited to get this. We know how I feel about the Royal Rumble, so it's a great time. We are on season three of the show for everybody. Welcome, welcome. If you're new here, we announced it last week, but hey, doesn't hurt. So we are emanating out of State College, Pennsylvania. And the show starts with DX in the back of a limo. And it starts a little cringy. They're like the best part about like college is college chicks. And we're like, okay. They really leaned into like the, the fraternity of them on this episode. Which. Sure, I guess. Sure, I guess if you're going for a theme. HBK says he's got a big announcement and then he moons everyone. And that was that. 

Kelsey Silva [14:12 - 14:14]: And that's. That's. Yup. 

Xavier [14:14 - 14:19]: They were really, really, really into the fact that like DX was in a limo. Like really. 

Kelsey Silva [14:19 - 14:20]: They were. Yeah. 

Xavier [14:20 - 14:24]: Very adamant about like pointing that out like a lot. 

Kelsey Silva [14:24 - 14:39]: And to take a limo to a college campus like stadium kind of situation feels like overkill. It's a little strange. But you know, whatever. Right guys, do you. If you got the limit the limo in the budget, you take the limit of work. That's what you do. 

Xavier [14:39 - 14:40]: I. I guess. 

Kelsey Silva [14:40 - 14:44]: And you moon the dolls out of the sunroof. And I guess that's what we do. So. 

Xavier [14:44 - 15:20]: Amen. So that takes us into the stadium where the Fatal Four way is essentially like about to begin. And the only people not in the ring are the champions, the New Age Outlaws. We kind of get like a. Just kind of like a recappy cap of like how they got. How they're sowing chaos and just being general menaces. They do their entrance and the match just has like a chaotic start as these matches are want to do because anybody can tag anybody. There's a participants. 

Kelsey Silva [15:20 - 15:21]: I love it. 

Xavier [15:21 - 15:22]: It's a mess. 

Kelsey Silva [15:22 - 15:31]: I love the idea of a Fatal Four. I know I've said that before, but the concept of it is so brilliant. I love that idea. I wish they would play around with it more. 

Xavier [15:31 - 15:43]: Oh, they do in the future. I think especially as far as, like, being able to, like, tell stories in that format, whereas now it just. It's just feels chaotic. 

Kelsey Silva [15:43 - 15:49]: Yeah, it's used as a chaos machine and that's it. When it's. It. There's a lot of potential for storytelling there, right? 

Xavier [15:49 - 16:26]: No, I. Very much so. I have just some kind of general notes on this one. It's kind of like a fast and furious match, really. Yeah. Thrasher, beautiful drop kick. Must say, I just. I don't know what it was. Maybe it was the. The angle of the skirt or just the way he did it today, but it looked great. Oh, I love. I love the aspect of this match where any of the tag team can tag each other because we get these, like, funny moments where recon, like, goes and like, tags Billy into the ring and Billy, like, does not want to be in the match. 

Kelsey Silva [16:26 - 16:27]: That's what I'm saying. 

Xavier [16:27 - 17:11]: Just like. And like, it's so reluctant to get in. I eat that up. So in all of the chaos of this match, the referee is dealing with a Insert any participant on the outside of the ring. Billy Gunn reaches into his pants, knocks out one of the Godwins with brass knuckles, which happened too quickly the first time around for anybody to really know what was going on that they had no one knows explicitly play it again and slow it down and basically do like an NFL. Like, here's this thing and over here, like, I feel like they could have just slowed it down in the ring and we wouldn't have had to be like, what just happened? 

Kelsey Silva [17:11 - 17:13]: But it was a mess. 

Xavier [17:13 - 17:40]: It's fine, it's fine, it's fine. So that allows the New Age Outlaws to pick up the victory, which takes them to the Royal Rumble where they have the Legion of Doom waiting for them, which we get a nice little video package just basically on the 15 year history of the Legion of Doom. You know, they've been champions everywhere. They use. They're using words like powerful, indestructible, all these great things. 

Kelsey Silva [17:41 - 17:43]: Power couple of the century, if you ask me. 

Xavier [17:43 - 18:17]: Literally. So they are coming for their revenge because the last time we saw them, the New Age Outlaws left them in a very unfamiliar position, which is basically knocked out. So if we know the Legion of Doom, we know they're gonna have something to say about all of that. We're, of course, still waiting for DX to arrive in the limo, which means we're gonna get a ton of shots of just a parking garage. So if you're into that, this is your episode, guys. 

Kelsey Silva [18:17 - 18:18]: There you Go get in there. 

Xavier [18:19 - 18:40]: So as we're waiting, a truck screeches into the parking garage. Austin comes roaring into the building in his, like Austin 316 skull truck. You can literally hear him yell out the window, get the hell out of the way. As he almost runs over a camera. 

Kelsey Silva [18:40 - 18:41]: Cameraman. 

Xavier [18:41 - 18:42]: He's playing on the horn. 

Kelsey Silva [18:42 - 18:44]: He's like, get out of the way. 

Xavier [18:45 - 19:20]: Mess, mess, mess, mess. So he. In the time it takes them to go to commercial break and come back, we find out that Stone Cold has driven into the building, beaten up both. God wins, gotten back in his truck and then driven into the. So let's see. These are the. Those are the kinds of times, like, I kind of miss a commercial. Like when you're watching something live, you'd be like, okay, I have, like, I have time to go to the bathroom. Or yes. Or you do like the race to get the stack. Like, I kind of miss things like that. 

Kelsey Silva [19:20 - 19:22]: I feel like magical about it. 

Xavier [19:22 - 19:28]: Or you take the time to beat up the Godwins. Little things like, things like that. 

Kelsey Silva [19:28 - 19:40]: It's like when I will say, was it nice when McDonald's breakfast was all day? Certainly. But there was kind of an element of joy of like waking up hungover and it was just early enough for you to make it to McDonald's. It hit so different. 

Xavier [19:40 - 19:49]: So like you scraped yourself off the carpet and you like threw yourself in your car. Like a couple deep healing breaths and straight into a drive through line. 

Kelsey Silva [19:49 - 19:54]: Absolutely. And there was something really. It just tasted better. It felt better. 

Xavier [19:54 - 20:07]: No, 100%, because that's the singe of the sunlight really, like on your shame. Like there was something about grease soaking up the alcohol that really put everything into perspective. 

Kelsey Silva [20:07 - 20:23]: There was something about grease soaking up the alcohol after you haven't even gone to bed. Like you're like on the way home and the sun is out and you're like, let me just hit the McDonald's. I go to bed with grease belly. Like, I take. I nap it off with like a belly full of hash browns. Yeah, that was unparalleled. 

Xavier [20:23 - 20:26]: The sleepiest sleep I ever slumped. Absolutely. 

Kelsey Silva [20:28 - 20:31]: Literally. Oh, yeah, absolutely. 

Xavier [20:32 - 21:31]: So Austin's here he comes into the ring. Michael Cole's prepared for an interview. And he's like, hey, so I guess you kind of like decided that like you're rolling with this, like, do on to others things, right? He's like, oh, you're Damn right. I'm 100% going to be winning the Royal Rumble. And. And then Michael Cole's like, oh, like people Say you're like, a marked man. And he's like, oh, Mark, man. He's like, you got. You got a pen? You got a pen? And I love this. This was crazy. He's like, okay, if you say, I'm a marked man, he rips it open. He's like, I'm not. He's like, steve Austin is not hard to find. It, like, starts drawing on himself. He's like, I'm right here, baby. And I'm like, target, baby. But I love to see it. And then he ends the. And I love to see it. I thought that was great.

Because realistically, the only four people from the golden era that were still around were Brett, Owen, Sean, and Taker. And Brad's gone, so no more golden era. So basically, they key continue to liken him to a big turd that they can't flush. They really love that analogy. China looks amazing. Also looks amazing. Sean looks a little rough, but that's okay.

When Shawn Michaels was in the Rockers with Marty Jannetti, a lot of that was emulated off of the Rock and Roll Express. A lot of those, like, those, like, tandem, like, double team, like drop kicks and suplexes and stuff like that, that comes from the Rock and Roll Express.

And a bigger team. So I thought the dynamics of the two were great. Taka has a moonsault reverse on him on the outside which was brutal. It was a beautiful moonsault that was caught by Savio and then he slammed him onto the ground for his trouble. But Jesus picks up the victory in this one. And of course the borik was attack after the bell. But Owen, Owen Hart who was attacked by Los Bodicos last week at the direction of Degeneration X comes out to get a piece of his revenge. He comes out swinging Triple H's crutch the first boricua. He breaks it over the the thing. Splinters. Hits part of it hits the referee. Which was hilarious. And yeah. 

Kelsey Silva [1:03:12 - 1:03:13]: So I didn't even notice that. 

Xavier [1:03:13 - 1:03:31]: That was great. Yeah. The top part hit the referee and then so he had like barely enough stick to hit the second guy. Kane. No. Behind door number one was actually the Undertaker. So the Undertaker comes out and he's like keep my family out of this. You should be a little bit more concerned with this Sunday and keeping that title and making sure that I don't punch a hole through your head. And you were like, oh. Love to see if the truth is.

Like, the shot is great. Oh, my God. Like. Like in a silhouette, just, like, chasing them down. Love to see it. So we get to Kane hitting the top of the ring ramp.

Xavier [1:08:04 - 1:08:29]: Turns around and hits. Hits the Undertaker pose. He gets down on one knee, does the hand, and then the camera shoots right to the Undertaker. The Undertaker sees Kane do it. Has, like, a moment of, like, is this for real? Responds. So they're both hitting the pose, like, at each other. We get a cane explosion, and seemingly Kanan and the Undertaker are on the same page.

Kelsey Silva [1:08:37 - 1:08:45]: Oh, my God. I was like, they've just been through so much, and we. 

Xavier [1:08:45 - 1:08:45]: I know. 

Kelsey Silva [1:08:45 - 1:09:30]: I'm telling you, when you scrape off that little sea urchin, that is Paul Bear girl. We get together. We get together. Come on. I. This was so fierce, him standing at the top of the ring with a hand, and then Undertaker does the hair like he's Ariel in the Little Mermaid. I was turned. I was like, oh. And then the flames go off at the same with the head whip. Whoever was doing the pyrotechnics knew when to die. I was like, oh. Oh, my God. It was incredible. It was literally like that. That. That Sistine Chapel with God and. And Adam or whoever it is, like, whatever, with the hands. You know what I'm talking about? 

Xavier [1:09:30 - 1:09:31]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. 

Kelsey Silva [1:09:31 - 1:09:33]: Across. They're like, just. 

Xavier [1:09:34 - 1:09:35]: Oh, my God. 

Kelsey Silva [1:09:35 - 1:10:19]: That was cinematic. It was everything. Oh, my God. I love it. Girlies get together. And I'm. I will say this, though. Was it amazing? Yes. I'm not getting my hopes up because I know they love to get me hype and then some. Somehow Kane is gonna do some. Like, I don't know. I'm not. I won't believe it until I see them really come together in. In a space closer than, you know, 20 yards. Do you know what I mean? Like, I'm not. I'm not letting. Like, was this hype? Absolutely. But now I've been burned one too many times and I'm just like, I'm not. I won't believe it until I see it. Like, see them actually, like, because. Did he help him clear out the ring? Certainly. But, like. But I just feel I'm suspicious. 

Xavier [1:10:20 - 1:10:30]: Yes. But is this, like, a. And we're even now? Because the Undertaker did come down and save Kane once upon a time, and. 

Kelsey Silva [1:10:30 - 1:10:37]: It'S a one for one type of thing. And I respect that, too. I respect that, too. Like, just because our enemies are similar to someone. 

Xavier [1:10:37 - 1:10:41]: Like, we're square, but we're square. 

Kelsey Silva [1:10:41 - 1:10:45]: Right. And this is why I don't get my hopes up. Was this fierce? Absolutely. I. It. 

Xavier [1:10:45 - 1:10:47]: Oh, it was a moment. 

Kelsey Silva [1:10:47 - 1:10:50]: I'm. I'm not. I'm not hanging my hat on this. 

Xavier [1:10:50 - 1:10:51]: At all to see it. 

Kelsey Silva [1:10:52 - 1:10:52]: Crazy. 

Xavier [1:10:52 - 1:11:05]: I'd be learning a little bit more on that. So next is our final segment of the evening. We are supposed to get a drawing of all of the numbers in the Royal Rumble. First of all, boring. 

Kelsey Silva [1:11:05 - 1:11:06]: What is that? 

Xavier [1:11:06 - 1:11:07]: Yeah. 

Kelsey Silva [1:11:07 - 1:11:08]: Where is that? 

Xavier [1:11:09 - 1:11:57]: Yeah, it's, you know, at random. Like, you know, everybody gets a number. But I love to see it. So it's chaos. There's like, of course, course. All these like wrestlers in the ring with interwoven storyline. So of course they're all fighting each other. And like we get Stone Cold's music and we're like, oh, here we go. Here's the mark, man. This is the one. This is the Grand Poobah. Here we go. So like they're everybody and their mother is like gearing like just bracing towards the front of the room. Yeah, they're all like waiting for this man's to show up. He comes and we get a wide angle shot of above the ring. Love it. Wiley Coyote. Coyote love to see it. So he comes up the back of the ring, slides in, takes the. The barrel full of numbers, whacks somebody with it. 

Kelsey Silva [1:11:57 - 1:11:58]: It was one of Godwins or something. 

Xavier [1:11:59 - 1:12:17]: Stuns one of the God wins and then just slips out the back like while everybody is just like realizing what's happening. So they're all like, whoop, too slow. And so he's escaping like up the ring. He's flipping everybody off. He's like, gotcha. 

Kelsey Silva [1:12:17 - 1:12:21]: And then he sets off like a K, like a powder keg. Everyone starts fighting. 

Xavier [1:12:22 - 1:12:25]: Yeah, it's Frodo and Sam in that like orc mess. 

Kelsey Silva [1:12:27 - 1:12:28]: Okay, Band, band name. 

Xavier [1:12:30 - 1:13:01]: Where Sam's like, whip me. So he starts that chaos and of course he gets mugged at the top of the ring brim by by a couple wrestlers with apparently a brain to rub together. They. They were like, damn, here we go. So it was the Rock, Savio Vega and somebody else was just going to town beating up the Rock. And that. That's basically how the show ends, with just everybody fighting, which I love as far as like go entering into the Royal Rumble. That's how I want it. 

Kelsey Silva [1:13:01 - 1:13:12]: Absolutely chaos. And it was really funny because Stone Cold is getting beat up and they just start playing his music as he's getting like the kicked out of him. And I was like, what is that? 

Xavier [1:13:12 - 1:13:13]: I thought that was so crazy. 

Kelsey Silva [1:13:13 - 1:13:14]: We were like. 

Xavier [1:13:15 - 1:13:19]: I was like, why are you playing his music for this? So we can hear it like. 

Kelsey Silva [1:13:19 - 1:13:27]: Like what is that? Just remind you where the game the attention should go. Like where your eye should go is like the. The ramp. 

Xavier [1:13:27 - 1:13:27]: Please. 

Kelsey Silva [1:13:27 - 1:13:32]: Yeah, please look this way. Thank you. Exactly. 

Xavier [1:13:32 - 1:13:33]: Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy. 

Kelsey Silva [1:13:33 - 1:13:34]: So, so crazy. 

Xavier [1:13:35 - 1:13:38]: Oh, wow. I am so excited for the Royal. 

Kelsey Silva [1:13:38 - 1:13:57]: Rumble and that fleek. This is why I need every episode, every week. I want to see the tea. Could you imagine if we hadn't seen this episode? I would have been so pissed. And I. And you know what? I would even be have been appropriately pissed because I wouldn't have even known what I had would have missed if I had missed that Kane Undertaker moment. I again, I'm I banging at the door. Netflix headquarters. 

Xavier [1:13:57 - 1:14:00]: Like, amen. Like, amen. 

Kelsey Silva [1:14:00 - 1:14:03]: I'm hurting. Like, that's crazy. Thank God.
