Speaker 1:

Hello, hey, hey, happy Saturday. You know what I mean, rikitty.

Speaker 2:

Stitch. And gelatinous Saturday All right, welcome back to the land of EAM RPG stream. Yes, indeed, this is session 15. Not trying to rhyme 15. Yeah it's our keen senyera. It's been a long time and let's kind of recap, bring people up to date on what happened.

Speaker 1:

Previously on Land of EAM.

Speaker 2:

Last time you journeyed across the realm, over the used to be forest until you came upon the hell growth mine. You heard some rumors about it, both from your friend. What's his name? Oh yeah. He's from the Akadankihibidu.

Speaker 2:

He's an old noggin, he initially told you. And then you met some boggles Everyone's saying you know it's a dangerous place. Then you went over there and you talked to old noggin, old noggin. And then there's a man who is kind of living a homeless life outside of the mine. He looks like pretty bad shape, he's a mace and he doesn't remember his name, but people call him old noggin and he said that he's sure that subterranean pits and layers was behind the destruction of this mine, specifically Lord Warfong, he thinks did it, the mysterious founder of subterranean pits and layers.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, warfong did it and we're going to see if it's true.

Speaker 2:

Okay, you told me you get the mine, go in, find proof, any type of proof. He's gone in there the last years and just could not find anything. It's haunted.

Speaker 1:

He's also insane. He's a little crackers. He's like not all there, but I guess if you're going into a haunted mine every day for 40 years, you're probably.

Speaker 1:

He's got so much negative courage that he just existed. A constant negative, he's like filled with dread all the time. Yep, hopefully we can take care of Innes and find out the truth. Little TCB, if you please, but yeah, first I think we were going to just do a quick leveling. Yeah, we're going to level our characters. We are actually level four now, for any of you that are just joining us, we're playing the Land of Eem RPG and we are on our 15th adventure and we're about to level our characters to five, and that's cool and exciting, and I've got the book up right here. What are you thinking, georgie? I'm trying to let go of the inner munchkin in me.

Speaker 2:

It's a strong force inside of George.

Speaker 1:

It's a wolf I continually feed because I want to pump my numbers. But what I love about the Land of Eem is that I have creative abilities. So when we level up I'm going to gain both abilities at level five and I have to give up one of my level four abilities. So I'm looking over here at Marshall prowess, which increases my dread dye to D12, so I do more damage and if I master it I gain a D6 courage hit points, which is pretty valuable. But having my faithful steed, being able to attack once per session and do tricky maneuvers, is really good.

Speaker 2:

So I think I might keep that.

Speaker 1:

It has actually bailed us out a couple of times. Yeah, it's true, two more damage potential on a dread dice is not as valuable as that, but the courage I mean. Maybe I wouldn't get knocked out every time, but at least this next level I'm going to get sweeping strike, which is cool, can attack multiple adversaries within close range. And then I'm excited about worldwide, as I can start making up terrible things about cultures, factions or groups of people. Terrible things, yeah, things will instantly get us in trouble. Yeah, all boggards have a third leg. You can't see, it's just behind their neck. It's a mutation that was brought on by being over by the spill in Fleetback County. Are you leveling up, james? I am leveling up.

Speaker 1:

I've decided that I'm going to keep the jack of all trades because that has been super fun. That's the power twice per session, name a specific activity or proficiency that you conveniently have, and the rest of the session you can gain advantage when performing that type of action. So I've done that a bunch already. I've been like a pole vulture and I've like been a gymnast, and I've been you know this out of the other usually nimbleness related, because I am weak in the middle. This, although I finally got to plus one. So life is life is good. I am nimble for the first time, and then I'm excited about these level five powers.

Speaker 1:

Pep talk is great. I can give quest points immediately, I can give you the ability to roll with advantage, I can heal us, so it's like really useful unsung heroes. Also pretty cool because in a one encounter per session that we play, I can make the trigger five instead of a six for things, which just could be like great to use when encountering a serious NPC or like serious danger. So I'm excited to try these both out and then I will choose the direction of Riley Springle. Yes, yes, I was forgetting. That's really all there is to leveling up, right, unless it, we yeah, because you can spend XP on skills at any point you want, you don't have to wait for level and you don't gain HP. So yeah, all right, we're good, and I've still got some XP. I'm like kind of hoarding XP just in case I get a little early.

Speaker 2:

Okay, let's, let's jump in, All right into the hell.

Speaker 1:

Growth mine adventure begin.

Speaker 2:

All right, you guys are outside of the mine. You can definitely feel cold waft of air kind of hit your face and just feels like bridges, a natural and scary little spooky in here.

Speaker 1:

Spooky in here. Sony and Buck Redstone. This is the first time I have felt fear, this of all the stuff we've been through.

Speaker 2:

What do you do? What do you do?

Speaker 1:

I tell you what we do. We search for traps before entering. Is there any like I figure, at the entrance or the entrance way? What does it look like at the entrance way, then, besides the waft of cold?

Speaker 2:

It's dilapidated. It's a dilapidated mine entrance Kind of. You can see broken beams like snapping, just caverns already starting to happen. Rocks, oh man, everywhere.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, does it look? Can we kind of assess the safety of it? I guess we want to make sure there's nothing trapped when we walk in. You know, trip wires or anything like that. Do a search, check maybe.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, go for it. Hey, Laina, you are new to our channel. Just want to let us know that you read both of our books, and one is our next book coming out, rigidy Stitch. Book 3 is coming out in April, april 27th, I believe, is the exact drop date.

Speaker 1:

So it's on the way and I think you can even find it on Amazon. I think it's listed there. Pre-order now.

Speaker 2:

Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, thanks for reading and welcome to the channel.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, thanks, bernard, you got it correct.

Speaker 1:

Oh yes, yep, you can pre-order it on Amazon right now, nice.

Speaker 2:

So go ahead and make that search check.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's going to be. Forgive me, everything is D12, right, my brain is DND. Search check is zero. I have no idea, like it's just crazy. Two, I think everything is completely safe. I look around and I say I kind of like hit some of the beams. Yeah, yeah, this is sturdy. Nothing could go wrong as we walk in here. I believe him because Gailin's my best buddy and nobody can check for traps better than him. Yes, yes, definitely is in my job description.

Speaker 2:

Make nibbleness checks.

Speaker 1:

Oh, alright, I talked a big game about nibbleness Immediately.

Speaker 2:

Let's go as you're walking in. It really doesn't appear to be trapped, but it's just so unstable. Yeah, like the first 30 feet that you walk in, it's like things are already starting to jar loose.

Speaker 1:

I might get hit by something. Yeah, yeah, I rolled a 12. You're very nibble.

Speaker 2:

You dart through as the ceiling starts to cave and rocks start falling.

Speaker 1:

Can I lend a? Hand you take five dread. Oh, I'm sorry. Oh man, Bad day, bad day, bad day.

Speaker 2:

I guess if you wanted to lend a hand.

Speaker 1:

I was going to use, lend a hand if possible. Although these, I guess we do have the temporary hit points from Earth. This isn't a combat, but I'm not that makes me worry less. You know what I mean, because we'll go if we're getting into combat. We have some temporary hit points, so it shouldn't be too bad. I would save it. I'll save it, gailin, I thought there were no more than any traps. Oh, we're in here now. Map change.

Speaker 2:

Map change.

Speaker 1:

Let me zoom out, because it's probably there.

Speaker 2:

I just, I'm still oh, okay.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to zoom all the way in and this is revealing things. The Fodge of War, the Fodge of War.

Speaker 2:

Okay, you've entered. You come around this corner behind you. It hasn't fully caved in, but it's partially caved. You have to crawl back through rocks to get out of here.

Speaker 1:

Okay, Okay, so do we? I assume we have like a torch, Do we? We can see. You assume I have no torch or lantern. I have a flint and tinder. I could technically make a torch, Could I? Could I like use tinker and cobble together a torch?

Speaker 2:

Nice yeah especially with you know, if you use a material, you'll have a legit torch. How about this?

Speaker 1:

I have a raggedy stuffed animal you can use in lieu of the material. It will burn super well. I roll a 13.

Speaker 2:

Wow, it's like having a floodlight. Yeah, you light up the area and it looks like you go three different ways.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Left, right or, you know, east, west or south.

Speaker 1:

What do you say? You want to try east? Yeah, definitely. I'm going to say left in honor of Darren Corb.

Speaker 2:

No no west, diane west. Are you saying east or west?

Speaker 1:

I think we want to go this way. Okay, all right. Wait, wait, wait. Did you say east or west? I assumed you said west. I said east because I just expected you to say we go left like Darren Corb. I see it's all relative, because left as we're looking at it or left as our character see it, that's where I would get confused. Yeah, that's deep role playing. Regardless, we went this way, I guess.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's committed role playing. Yeah, I mean, you really should just look at the map. I don't understand.

Speaker 1:

I'm sitting here on my bog roll legs, hold my breath for five minutes at a time. Stroke on my throat, pouch.

Speaker 2:

All right, you head this way and then you see over in a pocket of a mine area like a bunch of old tools, like pickaxes and whatnot Tools, and then you see a skeleton picking away.

Speaker 1:

Whoa, I mean, we've encountered skeletons picking away before. It's kind of reminiscent of our time in the. What was it the sinkhole? Was that this campaign? Was that this campaign? Yeah, when we were down there, we had to secure a gold claim. Sorry, we had to secure a gold claim, so we had that video like four or something. Oh, we got chased, right, yeah. We got chased through town.

Speaker 2:

We immediately started Slurp 1.

Speaker 1:

I think that was a different campaign yeah. Was it really? I was right?

Speaker 2:

No, oh my gosh, we ended up going to the same location, that's what it was Okay, got it Okay, and then we got to where it just goes about as business.

Speaker 1:

It's head rotate full 180 while it continues to pick. No, it's not what it's showing it looks at you, and then it looks back at its work, it's never ending work. Maybe that's what the haunted is Like. The clinking obviously is a skeleton. Yeah, but if it's not bothering anybody, maybe we could go past it. Yeah, yeah, does it look to be in good repair that we can salvage for usefulness later?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, it looks decent.

Speaker 1:

I hunt around. I pick up a pickaxe.

Speaker 2:

The skeleton turns towards you and raises its pickaxe.

Speaker 1:

At me, or yeah, like, oh, I start mining in the wall.

Speaker 2:

It wants to attack you, dang it.

Speaker 1:

I'd draw my sword. I'm sorry, my greed knows no bounds. I just thought you know, if I start mining in the mine, he's going to be okay with it All right. He's not on board. No.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, this is a conflict. You can't, you can't parlay with skeletons. That's their downfall, your downfall, our downfall.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, all right. Well yeah, I too draw my. What am I wielding these days? Yep, my magnificent sword. Still, how about the? We immediately go into combat in the first room that we enter in mine. My serial initiative my magnificent short sword is quick, so I attack first. Perfect, nice, come on D12.

Speaker 2:

Oh, savvy to levy. What was it?

Speaker 1:

Perception, ben it is yeah, sorry, it's sixth yeah.

Speaker 2:

So, riley, you go and Go and strike at this thing, but it just kind of like grazes its bones.

Speaker 1:

We can't kill. It's already dead. We got to go here. We got away Right away.

Speaker 2:

George, you're up.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I attack.

Speaker 2:

D12 plus doors.

Speaker 1:

I believe in you. Oh snap, but it's so sad. My, my dread is less. Now it's sixth dread, though it's decent. Seeing James is or Riley's sword kind of clank off the bones. I rotate mine so the flat of the blade hits him and turns into a cudgel and I smash into his bones as best I can. Night air it all the way.

Speaker 2:

It's what I do, okay, the six dread shatters this skeleton into.

Speaker 1:

Yes, nice shot, good shot man.

Speaker 2:

Good shot. Red 2. There's a big clamor and you you hear Clamor is never good. You hear kind of moaning from deeper into the mine.

Speaker 1:

Oh man, a weird ghostly moan Ben, was this guy wearing a uniform? No, are there any like mining carts or anything around that we get hide in?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, this area has like mining carts and equipment.

Speaker 1:

Did you want to hide until the moaning ceases? Is that your thought? Are they? Are they like coming into the room or is it just in the distance?

Speaker 2:

You just hear in the distance.

Speaker 1:

Okay, the sounds of combat have alarmed them. Yes, maybe we should go the other way and it'll dissipate. Yeah, and then we can circle back. Was there anything else left in this room, ben, or this area that we can perceive?

Speaker 2:

Just all the equipment, just the mining equipment. Okay.

Speaker 1:

I'd like to examine them, I know there's nothing stopping you. Is there, like any machinery or any like bigger equipment that we can't really move, that I could examine to see if it's been tampered with, or anything like that? Oh yeah, yeah, we're looking for like use, tinker or mechanics.

Speaker 2:

There's nothing. This stuff is probably decades ago, so it's plausible that that technology wasn't even widespread like the big shrimp boring machines.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's like what I was thinking of, like the rickety stitch book too.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that probably didn't exist yet.

Speaker 1:

Okay, cool, all right. Then I say, like a mining cart, it's like fill it with treasure and push it around. Yeah, we should just load it up with, like the tools and stuff. It's like become a scavenger run, right, anything. We can come out with 40 mining picks, 30 shovels. Yeah, maybe we should load some stuff into a mining cart. Just push along with us. Yeah, we'll follow the rails deeper into the mine. I assume there's rails deeper into the mine. Then Is that fair statement? Yeah, all right, do you want to go towards the moaning and like, maybe sneak in and investigate? Like maybe it's not what we think it is or something, but I'm still terrified. It's just the wind. It's the wind in this windless place. Yes, although there was a cold, wafting entrance Like a ghost, a ghost fart.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

Deeper and deeper into the mine.

Speaker 2:

We're going deeper and deeper into the mine.

Speaker 1:

A torch of light, a flame. When we hold the torch aloft, do we see any minerals glistening in the walls? Dude, can we tell what kind of mine this was?

Speaker 2:

It was a coal mine.

Speaker 1:

We see inky blackness in the walls.

Speaker 2:

Got it you come to a collapsed tunnel.

Speaker 1:

Small enough for a shrimp to wiggle through. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Let's just think of that. It looks like not even a boggle could squeeze through. You'd have to clear the way somehow.

Speaker 1:

Can we use some of those picks and start hacking at it? See how thick the collapse is Like? Maybe we can get through. Yeah, see if we can make progress yeah. Sure, I pick a little bit. I'm going to make a mic check.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, make a mic check. You know, mic check, mic check.

Speaker 1:

One, two, one, two, Wow, no-transcript.

Speaker 2:

So you guys, are able to clear this like fairly quickly.

Speaker 1:

We both just like target the same point and alternate picks. Yeah, Rylee's been doing a lot of crossfit between adventure games. I just see her flipping tires all day and she doesn't stop talking about it. Yeah, at least really try flipping this tire.

Speaker 2:

So you efficiently just kind of bore a little hole that you both can fit through. It's not like a huge entrance.

Speaker 1:

For a moment we feel like we missed our calling as miners, just for a fleeting moment. Should go back to Sinkhole and get a claim. Yeah, all right, I will like wriggle through to see if I can get a good idea of what's on the other side, if we want to pursue that way or not. Yeah, I'll kind of clamber behind when Rylee motions me up.

Speaker 2:

You hear another ghostly moan. It's definitely coming from here and it's louder, much louder now.

Speaker 1:

I want to like try to get my eyes on whatever is moaning without it finding out I'm there so we can run away. It's horrible. Yeah, if you're trying to sneak, I'm going to stay back because my armor gives me disadvantageous dee. Okay, I will attempt to sneak.

Speaker 2:

Are you leaving the torch behind?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I got to leave the torch behind as Noodle sneaks by Got him. Okay, I'll hand Galen the torch and I don't know what to do with it. I hold it upside down for my hand. Put it out. Oh, you want me to? No, and I'm going to continue straight in like hugging the wall, trying to bend behind like boulders or anything that's like away so I can try to see, and then, if it gets too dark, I'll just come back for the torch.

Speaker 2:

Okay, you notice you have two ways to go Left or right.

Speaker 1:

I vote the rule of Darren and guy go left. This time I guess I got a new approach.

Speaker 2:

Okay, On the ground you find a sketch pad.

Speaker 1:

Examine it. Tram you like one of your blog.

Speaker 2:

Real girls the paper is like brittle and old but you see faint sketches of like mining equipment, the type of stuff that you're hoping to find, like maybe prototype drawings of this sort of equipment, like giant boring machines and oh, got it.

Speaker 1:

Is it too brittle to like roll it up or fold it and pocket it?

Speaker 2:

It's not too real, is just you'd have to be delicate with it.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm going to keep it and I'll go get George and bring him over to this side. I refuse, nope, went far enough.

Speaker 2:

I'm not going any further. This place is creepy.

Speaker 1:

I'm out of here Getting a little drafty, you know, I think I left something on the stove outside. Yeah, no, I definitely will be like okay, all right, let's go.

Speaker 2:

Okay, At this point you can hear that the moaning is coming from the east.

Speaker 1:

Okay, let's check it out, man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we got to see what's not facing. But when you come to this area, kind of circle around, there's like, basically what you're seeing is just like entrances and offshoots that have just been collapsed, okay, and then as you're walking through like it becomes unstable again as it was in the entrance. So you'll need to make nimbleness checks again. All right, Nimbleness 11.

Speaker 1:

We're all in pretty good this time. We're all in pretty good. I think I got, I'm thinking Bernard, because he gave us good luck like right before we started. I'm feeling it right now. I'm like this is he?

Speaker 2:

used to do that every time now. Yeah, thank you I hope you hear this. It's helping. It's helping. Yeah, both of you squeeze through this passage as a giant rock just fooms, blocking it. You cannot return this way.

Speaker 1:

Okay, well, we're going deeper, no matter what.

Speaker 2:

You follow the sound of the moaning.

Speaker 1:

Is that correct? Let's follow and figure out what's going on All right.

Speaker 2:

You get to this area and you see a ghost.

Speaker 1:

I don't even know how to deal with that. What do we do?

Speaker 2:

Like full roaming vapor. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Class seven.

Speaker 2:

No, but it's not like a full ghost of a person, it's like a bottom half, it's full torso. Full torso, repeater. And it does not pay attention to you when you walk in.

Speaker 1:

Oh interesting, I'll say hello to the ghosts, hello.

Speaker 2:

It slowly turns towards you. Why have you come?

Speaker 1:

Well, we've, we're just investigating, we're trying to try to figure out if this place was sabotaged.

Speaker 2:

Dead Everyone.

Speaker 1:

And we're trying to be a hand of justice here and get to the bottom of this so that these crimes against asmose employees can be dealt with and the proper authorities can arrest those involved.

Speaker 2:

Make a charm check.

Speaker 1:

I'm not charming. Actually, I am charming. I mean, let me, let me Seven.

Speaker 2:

Seven. Um, it Regards you and then just points that way behind it.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm going to walk by but I'm going to like give it a wide berth. It's like always facing it Things are good, nice day and see if I could like go towards what they're pointing at and investigate it.

Speaker 2:

Right Leads you All the way down. Looks like a dead end here.

Speaker 1:

Like a proper dead end or another cave in cave in.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like a cave in, but it looks impassable.

Speaker 1:

Not even do you think a A kind of strength might be able to make it passable.

Speaker 2:

No, it's just like a ton of green materials Like Debris.

Speaker 1:

Debris and it's just totally a dead end there's like nothing. Yeah yeah, I wonder if we can like search. Yeah, I'm going to search because we can't go back the other way, so we're going to look at the next step. Right, she's got to be pointing to something. Yeah, yeah, I will search and see. If there's any kind of like loose stones or something we can get through, I'll enter the spot. Dammit, oh, there we go Awesome 12.

Speaker 2:

Nice.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, bernard.

Speaker 2:

Right, you find cufflinks. Cufflinks Shining in the torchlight.

Speaker 1:

Ooh, I bet I know who those cufflinks belong to. Oh snap, Does it say like L01?

Speaker 2:

It says T or Fung oh snap or T, maybe that.

Speaker 1:

T's first name yes, Thaddeus, or Fung. So or Fung is responsible. There's evidence here this is amazing.

Speaker 2:

How do we get out of here? Yeah let's bring back the goats.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, this is like not necessarily hard proof, though, right, or is this proof enough?

Speaker 2:

It's something.

Speaker 1:

You know why does this cufflinks here. It's evidence. We'll just chalk it up as evidence. We put it in like a clear plastic bag. We seal it with a tagging Preserve the chain of custody. That's too funny. Yeah, so that's amazing. Anything else here, ben? I mean, this is a big find.

Speaker 2:

I know what more do you want? I mean come on.

Speaker 1:

A magnificent hoard man. Come on, we've been spoiled by finding this, so let's go back to the ghost, because we clearly can't leave from over here. Yeah, we should bring it back to the ghost. We hold up the baggie. Yeah, I've hold the person. Is this evidence? T Orphong, they're responsible for the cave ins.

Speaker 2:

It just. It looks transfixed by the cufflinks.

Speaker 1:

Okay, okay. It says yes, yes, Okay, All right. Well, do you know a way out of here? We've are kind of trapped in here from a cave in. Is there any possible way for us to get to another part of the mine so that we can you know exact justice?

Speaker 2:

Make a metal check oh boy, that's a four.

Speaker 1:

That's a four. My brain liquefies. Start speaking in tongues.

Speaker 2:

The ghost possesses you.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, oh boy, okay, what skills do I have to pay the bills? Oh yes, okay, go on, ben. Sorry, I have an idea.

Speaker 2:

You can feel it, riley, but you can't like say anything and you just start walking.

Speaker 1:

Okay, out, walking out in some direction, like that's you start walking this way.

Speaker 2:

Oh, got it.

Speaker 1:

So this is a this whole area is a complete dead end. Now, right, so we're just circling back to where it worked. Oh, I thought we were trapped in here. I think we just couldn't come back this way. No, yeah, I know, I was like searching for like ways to get out of here. I thought we were like going to run an auction, it was. I was freaking out.

Speaker 1:

It's still possible. So there's that, yeah, all right, so I guess I'll follow. I'll follow to make sure that nothing untoward happens to Riley at the moment besides being possessed.

Speaker 2:

As you guys, you'll need to pass through that area cleared out. Okay, lainis has to blow up everything with TNT. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

That's a good idea. I'm a fan of that. Next search, check TNT. I know might. What is the ghost making, riley? Actually, can I try to talk to the ghost?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Unhand, my friend, there's a robot.

Speaker 2:

I do, I am leading you out.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I mean that seems pretty reasonable, nice enough, kind of an invasive and terrifying way to do it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we would have followed you.

Speaker 1:

I don't have to possess her, but thank you for your assistance.

Speaker 2:

When you get back to this area, there is a group of skeletons that is gathered. It's blocking the way.

Speaker 1:

I turned to the ghost and I said are these your workers? No, no. Are these people from SPL?

Speaker 2:

Riley, you're just walking, and then you start running towards them.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, let's see how do I battle for my own mind.

Speaker 2:

They will pay for their crimes.

Speaker 1:

So it's obvious this ghost wants to kill all these SPL workers likely.

Speaker 2:

Seems that way, okay.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to, so Riley's charging them. I'm charging them.

Speaker 2:

Make another metal check, I will.

Speaker 1:

Before, don't roll it yet, let me inspire you. Yeah, sorry, I keep rolling too fast. No, no, no, I'm also too slow on my inspiration. T12. Okay, before I can say anything, you just bolt and you're out of your shot, like Riley does a, and I just hustle after you. All right, I use my loyal charm metal. Oh, you rolled a. D10.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I did.

Speaker 1:

Yay, 11. 11. Okay.

Speaker 2:

You stop just short of like plowing into them. You realize that you're holding your weapon.

Speaker 1:

I'm like what?

Speaker 2:

Oh my goodness, there's five of them.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's it. Oh, okay, we made it.

Speaker 2:

We made.

Speaker 1:

there's 10 of them those Suddenly more bones rise out of the ground. I'll say Gailin, what's going on? You're possessed. These guys are from SPL and they probably want to kill us. There's no parlaying with skeletons. Can I keep running at full speed and slide through the legs of one of them and get behind them? You can use your pole balding thing too. I don't have that.

Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, that will be your action. You'll have to make a nibbleness check.

Speaker 1:

Okay, we'll do, and I'll just continue to charge up to engage in combat.

Speaker 2:

Cool.

Speaker 1:

I'll make my perception to see if I go before or after them. I go before, I do not.

Speaker 2:

What is your total, James? My six. It's a success with a twist. I think it means that you get through, but some are focused on you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I can deal with that.

Speaker 2:

All right, Gailin.

Speaker 1:

Skellies man, I'm going to attack using sweeping strike 1d4 plus 1.

Speaker 2:

Right, I said oh.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I was like whoa, whoa, we make me pump my brakes. Whoa, whoa, whoa. That's my ability that's why I'm doing it. It is a new ability, exciting. I'm excited. So Ben does it. It says, once per combat attack, 1d4 plus 1 adversaries within close range. Now do I roll to attack and if I hit, then we roll to see how many it hits.

Speaker 2:

I mean either way.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm going to roll. Because you're rolling one attack Nice, nice, nice.

Speaker 2:

Come on, Georgie.

Speaker 1:

Let's see how many people I hit. I hit four of them. That's good. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, that's a crit. That's 20 damage to four of them. That's over-roll, holy cow.

Speaker 2:

I just run up and I yell.

Speaker 1:

Riley took.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you just slash through four of these things and they are incinerated by your blade. Yeah, that's possible.

Speaker 1:

Blaming justice, Gaelan holy cat. I retire this character because he would never do anything better than that. That was the best thing ever he could possibly do.

Speaker 2:

That is good. The one you did not hit had gone for Riley. Of course Attacks Riley.

Speaker 1:

It actually was thrown off balance by the massive force of me. Yeah, this sudden force of erosive-ness that came out of Gaelan.

Speaker 2:

It's lost, it's true, yeah, it just it trips up and falls over.

Speaker 1:

Riley is just like take that and that and that and that, I'm just going to stab it on the ground.

Speaker 2:

It's next round, yep.

Speaker 1:

Roll initiative. I go before it. I have not used the short sword to attack first. Right now it's on the ground. I can't do it. It's actually too easy of a target. You weren't anticipating it. This sword goes right through its ribs. I miss it entirely no contact.

Speaker 1:

It looks down and looks up at you. I never forget how creepy that was. I sleep and see it in my mind. It's a six. It'll be able to counterattack me if I don't kill it. Ten, I do six damage. Beautiful, it attacks you. Oh, it's getting revenge for its friends. I'm not sure if Tens can even have friends. I don't think that's the thing they do. Sixth Stret we have five hit points because of our armor. I take one damage Down to ten out of sixteen. Courage Next. That was its counterattack.

Speaker 2:

It gets to attack again. It gets up and hacks at you. Galen, it's a hit with a counterattack.

Speaker 1:

Finish from you, this one guy, this guy over here, that's a ten. Come on, I'm surprised. I look down and I'm bleeding my own blood. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood.

Speaker 2:

You hack off one of its arms, but it still has its pick arm.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Nice.

Speaker 1:

Riley get over behind.

Speaker 2:

I'll try. Next round, yeah, next round, go for it Sudden, oh we both go first.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, go ahead, riley. All right, I attack. Wait, I rolled seven initiative. Mm-hmm, oh, I'm going to go for it Again. Right through the ribs. I dropped my sword, I put it right through. It clatters through like a disarmament with ribcage. Is it? Magnificent though it is, but it's not. Oh, no, that's trustee.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's trustee, that's right, it's quick, it's quick. Yeah, I think it's like stuck in its ribcage.

Speaker 1:

It's going to just like pick up a shovel and just beat it.

Speaker 2:

I want to die.

Speaker 1:

I'm so incensed by it making me bleed that I credit for 18 damage.

Speaker 2:

I don't do it.

Speaker 1:

It's going to just.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you've taken care of these skeletons. The ghost says bring us justice, all of us.

Speaker 1:

Whatever you say, we're on the case. I give him a knowing nod. Riley and Galen amateur detectives. I'm wondering if we should search the rest of the mind for any more Evidence, yeah, evidence. Can we ask the ghost? Is there more in the mind that can help incriminate Lord Arfong?

Speaker 2:

I do not know we're right at the entrance.

Speaker 1:

We could take it to Noggin and show him yeah, I would do it, can pop out, can camp real quick, get some courage back. I mean, if we want to come back in, we can come back in or not, doesn't matter to me. Either way, let's talk to Noggin before we get ourselves into more shenanigans as one does. Hey, noggin, we found some evidence that supports your claim that sub-training pits and layers, specifically Warfong, sabotaged your company. Oh, check these out, like show them the cufflinks with T Orfong written on them.

Speaker 2:

Torfong.

Speaker 1:

I was going to say it, but you beat me to it. Is it Torfong? Are we wrong? Is this somebody else's?

Speaker 2:

Oh, orfong, lord Orfong, yeah, that's, him.

Speaker 1:

And would he have any business being in the mind at all?

Speaker 2:

No, this belonged to Asimuth.

Speaker 1:

Hmm, All right so.

Speaker 2:

Torfong was here. I say Bernard, thank you for sticking around.

Speaker 1:

Thanks, Bernard, we're like you're just about your good luck charm. Oh man, our roles are going to suck, but thanks, you got us through this unscathed. Have a great weekend, have a great weekend. So where should we take these? To prove your case, dunk, I imagine.

Speaker 2:

right Take them to Dunk. I guess you could find a lawyer in Dunk. What if we went to SPL ourselves?

Speaker 1:

Or did what? Burn it down. Yes I say, don't you think they're just going to make us disappear?

Speaker 2:

Well, we sneak in.

Speaker 1:

And do what Kill Lord Orfong. I don't know if that's possible. What's your plan, old noggin?

Speaker 2:

What if they got records or something?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, if we could find records, then we could match it up and then note on their up.

Speaker 2:

Can I show this?

Speaker 1:

the schematics to Noggin that I found and say hey, what do you make of these schematics? Oh, Schematic.

Speaker 2:

These were old plans. Some guy, some guy, some guy. I could see his face. I can't remember his name. It was he.

Speaker 1:

Can I hold a mirror up to Noggin and be like is this his face?

Speaker 2:

Who's that?

Speaker 1:

This is you. Is that him, that's?

Speaker 2:

so old? What have I become? What have I become? I'm old.

Speaker 1:

That's what you've become. Old Time will do that to you. You kind of lost control there.

Speaker 2:

I mean, when you're looking at this sketchbook, you see that there's a name. What is the name? Regal Mundubal.

Speaker 1:

Is your name? Regal Mundugal.

Speaker 2:

Regal Mundubal. No, no, that was my friend, regal Mundubal.

Speaker 1:

And what happened to your friend Were they lost in the mine or I don't remember.

Speaker 2:

Everyone was killed. I barely made it out.

Speaker 1:

Where is SPL's headquarters? Because we need more evidence than Orphanus cufflinks. It's next to Wally's. Oh, oh, it is that. Okay, got it, got it, got it. Wally's Waffenslin works, we works. This is right over here. It's not super far, and then we can get a lawyer in Dunk. Yeah, I don't know why. Like having a troll lawyer in Dunk because of all the lawyer paperwork that we need for the troll bridge.

Speaker 1:

It's like oh well, while you're at it, we'd like to take you as a retainer, and sure we can build a case against one of the biggest engineering out there. Oh my God, I love it. We need attorney, okay, so Harvey Birdman, that's. I mean, that's some travel time, but it's not super far. Yeah, and everything seems to be going okay at the crack with a spin.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's up to you how you want to do it. If you don't want to go to SPL, then gosh. I'm curious, I'm very tempted.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm curious about getting justice for Noggin, getting justice for that and the schematics look like they might be valuable, like there's something to those. Yeah, the prototypes yeah, I'm intrigued, I think. I mean, why not? Let's, just let's. This is the beauty of the sandbox, so maybe we can, we can get going on our journey and then sort of find a way to sneak into SPL for the next weekend. So this is the things that we've added to our quest. Now we've added SPL and we also still have to check out this tree. Oh, yeah, the tree. Yes, oh, ben, they can't see that. You'll have to switch over to your stream. They can, I can see it. No, they can see this.

Speaker 2:

Oh, really, oh, okay, okay okay, got it, got it, got it. They can see this.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, these are the quests. Visit the last tree in the used to be forest.

Speaker 2:

Find proof that Lorda Warfong of SPL sabotage to hell growth mine, I updated it. You know what I mean. Look at that. Look at this guy.

Speaker 1:

Classic hoops micosta over here. You know what I mean I do?

Speaker 2:

I know I got my eye on you guys, you know.

Speaker 1:

I got my eye on your burgers and fries.

Speaker 2:

Yes, how do you want to proceed? Old noggin was saying he's going to come with you Whatever you do. Wait, wait.

Speaker 1:

No, that's perfect, because that is perfect. Zona inbox is like and then we inherited this old noggin and old noggin's like what's that? Mushroom animal was writing about. He was sitting there scribbling all day.

Speaker 1:

He's making funny stupid jokes from me. He like wakes up in the middle of the night. He put a spore in my nose. I could feel him growing in my lungs. He's setting root. He's trying to take over my mind, because he never sleeps. He never sleeps and he keeps us up all night complaining about something. Hey, you guys, you ever feel like your knees don't exist anymore. So I do. What do you think of this? What if we checked out the last tree? Yeah, I was thinking that too. The tree first, because maybe SPL is doing something. Yeah, like they're the ones that chop down the rest of the forest, right? So if we go to the tree, then we can. You read my mind.

Speaker 1:

I was absolutely thinking that too we can hang a West and then maybe had to go Fort Bullwark because that seems like a safe haven, allegedly, allegedly. Yeah, I'm game. I think that's great. Okay, so how do you want to do this? We've already been, we've already streamed an adventure. Do you want to head that way? Or do you want to cut it now and then begin the next arc of the adventure next Saturday? I feel like we should begin next Saturday, simply because Bernard is left and our roles will be terrible. Okay, all right, so on our, we're going to include today's adventure. I'm fine, if you guys want to keep going, I have time. Well, it's such an easy place to stop right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, yeah. So If you're hungry for more EAM and you haven't watched the old streams, catch up. Yeah, you can catch up on the shenanigans that are going through this sandbox. We've been primarily using the Used to be Forest sandbox. It's available for free in the land of EAM beta bundle download. You can check it out at drive through RPG. We'll put the comments. In the comments we'll put the links you can download it and then also in the description we'll update it so that you can check it out there. And it's got the whole rule set. It's got the pre-generated characters Riley and Galen are in there and, of course, the sandbox, and we actually just updated it. So it's got three pre-generated dungeon adventures as well. So there's a lot in there. It's a lot of stuff and we just really want to hear what you guys think. And so actually I have a question Speaking about your update. So do people can just go re-download in and it'll do it? Just every time we go re-download it'll be the most recent, that's right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah and then, every time, we make sure you have your notifications turned on and drive through, because we'll be adding stuff to it, and every time we add stuff, you'll get a little ping in your email to let you know that you can download the new version. Indeed, and then last shameless plug is you can join our Discord. It's there's a link to the Discord on the bottom of every page and in this description, so that you can actually meet other people that are playing the game as well as give suggestions, give us your feedback, share your characters, which is always fun. So yeah, there you have it. Plug concluded, all right.

Speaker 2:

All right. Thanks to all of our patrons on Patreon.

Speaker 1:

For supporting us.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely, and thanks for everyone who came by and watched the stream. We're gonna be doing it next week, same time, same place. Yeah, session 16. We'll get going. You know what I mean? It'll be great. All right, a new adventure 2016. Fantastic, right after Kintierra. You know what I mean. Yeah, I hate that episode.

Speaker 1:

All right, all right, have a great weekend everybody. Thanks a lot for joining us. Bye-bye, bye-bye.
