🎉 Big news—I've changed the name of the podcast! In this quick episode, I'm sharing why I made this shift and what it means for you. While this space has always been about money, business, and self-development, I kept coming back to one core theme: money. The way we think about it, manage it, and use it to create the life we want.
This podcast is now fully focused on helping women shift their money mindset, build financial confidence, and create wealth on their own terms.
In this episode, you'll learn:
- Why I decided to change the podcast name
- The main focus moving forward (hint: all things money!
- What's staying the same and what you can expect from future episodes
THANK YOU for being on this journey with me. I’m so excited to continue growing and learning together. 💖

Do you want to create a system to stop avoiding your money? Maybe you're feeling guilt and shame when it comes to finances. Welcome to your Money, your Rules. I'm Erin, a former certified financial planner and CFO, and yet I used to avoid my money and had fear, no matter how much we had. I can't wait to teach you how I overcame my money avoidance and started consistently managing my finances in a really simple way. It's time to get comfortable with money. Hey there, welcome back.
Erin GraySo you might've noticed that the name of the podcast has changed from Generate a Life Well Lived to your Money, your Roles, along with the podcast art, and today I just want to take a couple of moments to share why I made the shift and then what it means for you moving forward. You know, when I started this podcast back in April of 2023, I did it because I wanted to have a place where I could share my voice, my opinions, my thoughts, and I wanted to be able to invite people and guests on where they could share their beliefs and show up authentically, and I knew that I wanted to talk about money and business and self-development, and over time, I kept coming back to really one core theme, which was money, something that has been near and dear to my heart. I have worked through so many different money beliefs and feelings around money and my entire relationship around money, and you know the way that we think about money, the way we manage it and how it impacts every part of our lives, especially as women entrepreneurs is really important to me to spreading the message, to helping more women in the world have a nourishing and loving relationship with money, because I truly believe that when we all have a loving and nurturing relationship with money, we can truly, really change the world. And so I realized that I wanted this podcast to be really crystal clear in its purpose. I wanted it to be the go-to space for women who are ready to shift their money mindset, to build financial confidence and financial literacy, and to stop avoiding their money and feeling shame and guilt when it comes to their money and really start managing their money and having it so that they could create true wealth on their terms. And so changing the name felt like the next right move, and it really reflects, I think, the heart of what I'm trying to accomplish here on the podcast and, ultimately, with the world. So what's staying the same Me, obviously, you know, having deep, honest conversations about money, the strategies to help you grow financially and then, of course, the encouragement and support to help you feel empowered in your financial journey.
Erin GrayYou'll probably hear more solo episodes of me on the podcast and I will still sprinkle in some guests, because I do love having that interview style, but it'll be a lot more teaching and more personal experiences that I've had to help you along your financial journey. So if you have been here since the beginning, I just wanna say thank you for being a part of this evolution and if you're new, I wanna say welcome. I can't wait to dive deeper into all things money with you. Okay, so that's all I've got for today, just a quick update. I'll be back soon with more episodes.
Erin GrayI'll be having them on Monday and Thursday, releasing them on Monday and Thursdays now instead of just Thursdays, and my desire for you is that these episodes will help you shift your mindset, grow your wealth and step fully into your financial empowerment. And until next time, did you learn something today? Do you know another female entrepreneur who might be avoiding her money? Will you send this episode over to her for me? And, if you have it in you, please leave me a review for this podcast. It helps the show grow and I love hearing from you. See you next week.
