I recently asked in my Facebook group podcast ideas Did any of the women have any ideas that they wanted me to do a podcast on? And one of them suggested an episode of how to work with money and wealth beliefs to energetically hold more wealth. So that is what this episode is about today how do we actually increase our capacity to have what I call increasing the vessel? If you're not in my Facebook group, I highly encourage you to go join and come and connect with me and the women that are in there that are on this journey with you doing this soul work. So, first and foremost, let's identify some of these limiting wealth beliefs that we have. You know, everything starts with awareness. My husband taught me this because I'm not a fan of cleaning, but he is, and when he cleans he takes everything out, let's just say, the closet. He takes everything out of the closet, he looks at all of it and then he decides what is he going to put back and what is he going to gift or, you know, give to charity. And this is what a lot of us, I believe, don't do when we are actually working on new beliefs. You know we're so pumped to begin believing new things that we don't actually look at what we are currently believing and this all just stays and lurks in the subconscious. You know, we really have to get clear on what are we actually thinking now? Will all of that come up in one session? No, it's just a constant evolution. But I do think it's worth taking some time to sit down and actually just free journal, free, right. What are you actually believing? What are you thinking? That is, you know, creating these limitations.
Erin Gray:So if you are constantly hitting a plateau in your business or your income or assets, or how you feel about money and I say, when I say this constantly, I, or consistently, I should say, you know, I say consistent, consistently, because a snapshot in time I don't believe really anything has gone wrong. Like there is the law of rhythm where ebbs and flows. So if you have an I'm air quoting a slow month, I wouldn't give any energy to it, I would just oh well, then it's just going to happen next month. But if it's a continual thing that occurs, then that is something that I would take a look at. There is, you know, likely a lower frequency of beliefs that are occurring, old, you know, like the um identity that you are currently carrying or running, that's, you know, running behind the scenes.
Erin Gray:So I'm going to list some beliefs that I hear from other clients, as well as some that I have had to get your mind going and for you to ponder and write down and figure out what are your actual beliefs, what are those limiting beliefs that you actually have? Some of them are you know, if I make XYZ whatever number it is, put it in there who will I be able to talk about? Because no one in my circle makes that amount of money. It could be. I don't want to be greedy, I have to be perfect, or I have to protect my assets because they were so hard to create. I had this one and you know I don't want to spend that much. I mean, I've had several of these, but you know I don't want to spend that much. I mean, I've had several of these, but you know I don't want to spend that much. I have to work hard to generate this money. You know what will my family think of me? And this is not all inclusive, it's just some of the ones that I have had, some of the ones that my clients have had.
Erin Gray:So the thing with awareness is that we can notice the beliefs with love and with compassion. We don't have to layer on judgment with this. I think sometimes we don't even notice how we speak to ourselves. We think that we're being kind. But if you actually were to step out and listen to what you're saying to yourself or if you were to say that to a friend, it isn't as loving as what you think it is. So, just recognizing that these beliefs that you took on at some point in your life they were likely there to keep you safe, to feel accepted, to continue or to have connection, and your nervous system is just trying to protect you. That's all that's happening. And we can lovingly expand our nervous system, expand our capacity to have from a loving place, not from judgment. So I want you to.
Erin Gray:I've almost kind of made this podcast in a way of kind of like a workshop. I want you to. I'm going to give you some journal prompts and then I want you to pause the episode and I actually want you to write down. And then I want you to come back after you've written it down and then listen to the next um part that I have prepared for you. So what journal on this? What would feel unsafe, unfamiliar or threatening about receiving or holding, and then you can put in the number the amount of wealth that you want to have and let whatever comes up, come up. You know, don't try to censor your thoughts.
Erin Gray:Many of my clients, they'll give me the intellectual answer because they're very much in their head versus the answer that their body actually believes. And I think that if you are a coach or a mentor or you know you've been in the self-development world for a hot second, you can say the things that you know you're supposed to say versus what your actual body feels. So be really tapped in when you're answering these journal prompts. Your work is to write down and give the answers that your body believes, because that is where you're going to actually find the true awareness. So pause this episode right now and do that journal prompt, and even if this takes you several days to complete, it's fine. But I think that it is worth pausing for you to actually sit down and get down to some of these root beliefs. So so me talking to you and you listening is not where transformation happens. It happens when we actually do something different than we have been. So pause it journal and come back to this episode for the next step.
Erin Gray:Okay, so you've written down what you the journal prompt that I mentioned about what would feel unsafe or unfamiliar about receiving or holding the amount of money that you want to have. So let's talk about actually what came up. You know, I don't ever ask myself if this belief is true, because my body probably would always say yes because it does feel true in the body, probably would always say yes because it does feel true in the body. So I like to ask more or different questions like whose voice is this belief? Or is this belief even mine? That's one that I use a lot.
Erin Gray:Does this belief serve me moving forward? You know I always look at beliefs. Are they serving me or are they not serving me? Are they moving me towards what I desire or are they not Some beliefs that I used to actually hold? They served me very well for my awareness at that point in time, but now, based on where I am, they don't serve me anymore because my consciousness has evolved and changed right. So we get to break up with beliefs. I had a coach one time that was like think of them as shopping bags. You get to break up with beliefs. I had a coach one time. That was, like you know, think of them as um shopping bags. You know you get to drop the shopping bags. Whatever way you want to think about beliefs, it's like it's okay to release them, bless them, release them, let them go, and then I would begin to replace these old beliefs with ones that actually align with the future that you're stepping into.
Erin Gray:And I really like to choose just two or three beliefs that I'm working on at a time, because when we have too many, sometimes I think to the mind it can feel overwhelming, and maybe you you don't. You have so many that you're not going to remember them. Like, one of the things is to actually say them, embody them and take action from that place. So the point is to affirm and, like I said, just take action from that place. So if you are saying something like I want to be more confident with money, okay, then go, take an action that day to feel more confident with money. And, and the biggest thing to remember is not just to write these down or to say them, it's to actually feel them, because if you do not feel them, you are not going to embody them. So here are some that I've used. I'm going to share some of the ones that I have used. Try them on, see what fits for you and your body and then, if none of them resonate, then sit down and think about what are the ones that would then. If none of them resonate, then sit down and think about what are the ones that would. If some of them do, then take them. Take whatever resonates, leave the rest.
Erin Gray:So I really had to use a lot of language around safe, safety. So it's safe for me to receive more or it's safe to meet for me to receive more with ease, like I always would put with ease on the end, because that was, for sure, something that I needed to work on, because I could generate money, I could build wealth from hard work and pushing and forcing. It's with ease or with joy or satisfaction is what has been my work. Another one could be you know, since I am already a generous person, having more money is going to allow me to just give more. You could say or use I am learning. I like I am learning or I am in the process. Those are two. That I like is like bridge beliefs I'm learning or I am in the process of learning how to receive more money with ease. The more money I have, the more I get to choose how I want to allocate it. And it's safe to spend money on things that I enjoy because the money always comes back to me.
Erin Gray:Some people say two times, three times, 10 times, like it's not about the actual amount, it's about how do you feel in your body when you actually say that. You know, when you think about it's safe to spend money on things I enjoy because the money always returns to me. How does that actually make you feel? And then the final part obviously is like what we're actually doing is having this, creating this energetic expansion, holding more. You know the capacity to have.
Erin Gray:When I say that, what I mean is like our nervous system expanding our nervous system. You know, wealth expansion is not just from a mindset perspective, it's a frequency, it's energetic. So it is about your nervous system capacity, which really means your nervous system feeling safe, right. So you know your window of tolerance by how you feel in your body. So trust that what I mean by that is what might be a little bit outside of one person's comfort zone might be a huge jump for somebody else, because maybe they haven't been doing this work that long, or maybe they are at a different place in their journey, or it could be multiple reasons why maybe this one person is able to do it a little bit faster. We're not comparing ourselves to anybody else.
Erin Gray:What I'm saying by saying this is you need to tap into your body. You need to see what is loving and nourishing for yourself Like where is your window of tolerance and then expanding that, versus looking outside of yourself, seeing what somebody else says to do and then going and doing that. This is why I am constantly asking my clients and encouraging them to tap into their bodies over and over. I have this conversation, you know, because we will know what we feel by if we slow down and when we actually get connected with our bodies. What is it that you actually want to move toward? Because it's when we set the desire, the intention that those are, when the beliefs will come up. You know, expanding our capacity to have.
Erin Gray:I have looked at lots of different spiritual um mentors and you know Kabbalah calls this expanding the vessel. So if you think about it, whatever you believe God, I feel like that is really where I've landed. Of God, you can say, spirit, source, universe, whatever it is, there is this constant light, constant energy trying to be, for us to receive. And the reason why, if you think about a light bulb, if you think about coming out of the outlet and it might have I'm no electrician but let's say it has 110 volts but you put in a 60 watt light bulb, all that you're ever going to shine or light up with right Is 60 Watts. So in order to have more light, you have to increase the capacity and that's what we're doing with our body, with our nervous system.
Erin Gray:So I believe it is so important to come from this loving place, the supportive place, when we are expanding our window of tolerance. So here's a couple of tools that I would use play with. I'm always like you've got all kinds of tools in your toolbox. What do you want to play with? What resonates with you? So I would definitely in the beginning is really do some type of daily grounding practice. How does the woman if you think about the woman that has the amount of money that you desire and she has it with ease how does she take care of herself? Does she do maybe more breath work or breath work in general? Does she have more quiet time? Is she placing her hand on her heart and talking to herself lovingly? Does she allow for more space in the day? Like, what is that feminine energy that she is doing and taking care of herself on a daily basis?
Erin Gray:The second thing that I think is really important is to celebrate, celebrating everything. I think a lot of us withhold the celebration until we reach where we're going, which I do believe we're kind of missing the whole point, like we are withholding all of this fun and celebration and joy from ourselves all along the way. So start celebrating every single, wherever money is received, whether it's a payment you receive a refund Like today I took my daughter out to lunch and she asked for a medium and then they gave her a large. Like celebrating every little thing, because the more that you focus on where you are already receiving abundance, the more it's going to grow. Celebration, I think, also anchors in safety. You know your body starts to associate money with joy instead of stress, which many of us that's what we have associated money with. So we want to normalize money flowing in and out and also increasing. You know, the more often that you celebrate, you show your nervous system that it's safe to celebrate, it's safe to have system, that it's safe to celebrate, it's safe to have fun, it's safe to let money flow in and out.
Erin Gray:The third one I would do and that has been something that I've really taken a lot deeper recently is visualization with the end goal in mind. So think about getting super clear on three to five end scenes. So in scenes like E and D, end scenes are things that will happen only once you have received the amount of money that you desire. So for me, one of my end scenes is me sitting on the back patio of the house that I have in my mind that I've envisioned either that house or something better and looking over the pool in the spa and then just telling my husband that, like man, I did it, like I did this, I did this with my mind and changing my identity and all the women that I have impacted, and I'm so grateful that I believed in myself and I kept at this work. And you know, he I'm envisioning and visualizing. He's telling me that you know what. I never doubted you for a second. And I'm sitting there thinking, you know, if I can create this, what else can I create? You know, I'm feeling such gratitude in my body, tears of joy, love, you know, for myself.
Erin Gray:And spending the night with my husband, or, you know, spending that as the evening goes, you know, with my husband and daughter enjoying the evening swimming. Do you see how specific that is Like? Can you actually feel the feelings in your body that you were feeling when I was describing that? Now, that's how specific that you want to get so you can get to that feeling.
Erin Gray:Now, some of my clients, they don't actually have to be so specific because they can just jump straight to the feeling, but I do think that the imagination is really important. You know, they say that the imagination is connection to the divine, to God, spirit, to source, and it's one of those things that once we visualize in our minds so many times, we normalize it. So when it actually happens in the 3D, it's so normal because you've experienced it so many times, your body has experienced it so many times in the 5d realm. So, whatever works for you, just spend time. In the beginning I recommend multiple times a day, maybe three to four times a day. You know being in that feeling, visualizing that until it becomes your natural state. You know your nervous system, like I said, it doesn't know the difference between what I call the 3d, what the observed world is, what you see when you open your eyes and your senses. It does not know the difference between the 3d world and then the 5d, that imagined state. So the more that you practice having the wealth that you want, being in that energy, the more natural it becomes and the faster that you can receive and observe it in your 3d world.
Erin Gray:You know, obviously you need to take action, but you're going to be taking action from the woman who has what you desire, not from where you are now. It's going to be inspired action. It's not going to be pushing, enforcing action. So I do want to talk about action because I do think it is important. I don't think it's the primary thing, though. I really think, as I have built wealth from one place and now I'm in the other, of really imagining first, like doing it the. I don't want to say it's without effort, it just is. It's less effort. Right, I did it from a forcing, pushing 3D way versus now of imagining being that person and then allowing it to come and taking inspired actions.
Erin Gray:So I think you know, when we're talking about action, I want to talk about two sides. You know, some of us will do this work and we'll be in that feminine energy, but we won't actually take the action. We won't do the masculine, inspired action things we need to do. So we do have to take inspired action. We have to follow our intuition and bring it into the 3d, the observed world. So what action have you been putting off that you know you need to take to get to the next level? You know, this is my encouragement for you this week go do the thing that your intuition has been asking you and allow yourself to feel the discomfort.
Erin Gray:You know, if you want to hold more wealth, we have to do things differently than what we've been doing, which ultimately comes from our identity. What do we believe about ourself? What is our self-concept? How are we treating ourselves? What do we think is possible for ourselves? You know, the point with all of this is to make it natural and the next step for your nervous system.
Erin Gray:The reason why we create and we can't hold or we can't increase past a certain asset or income number is because it hasn't felt natural yet. You know, we've put up these goals on on the pedestal and when we put a goal on a pedestal we're at a different frequency than the goal. You know, the goal has to be natural and like, of course, of course, kind of thinking, like when it arrives it's like duh, of course. I've just been this person for however long. It has to be from that, not like, oh my gosh, it happened. I can't believe it happened. If you're thinking that you have not been in the vibration of having, yes, you might be in the vibration of receiving it, but holding it is what we're talking about here. So I truly believe that the more that we use our imagination and we feel in our bodies and our bodies believe what's already happening, that is when we start to attract what it is that we want. So that's all that I have for you today.
