Ready to stop avoiding your money?
You might look financially successful on the outside, but inside you feel anxious about money, unsure of what’s “enough,” or exhausted from trying to get it right.
Even with wealth on paper, your nervous system can still feel scarcity. You’re not the only one, and you’re in the right place.
Hi, I’m Erin, Spiritual Wealth Coach, former Certified Financial Planner, and CFO.
I created this podcast to help you build true financial confidence, not just more financial knowledge.
For years, I chased numbers in the bank account, outsourced decisions to financial advisors, and still felt guilt, pressure, and never “enoughness.” I didn’t realize I was stuck in a scarcity mindset.
What changed everything was realizing that money isn’t just about strategy, it’s about relationship. To feel safe and empowered with money, I needed nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and an abundance mindset.
On this podcast, we go beyond budgeting and financial planning.
We talk about money mindset, wealth embodiment, nervous system safety, and creating money systems that feel good to use, so you can stop spiraling in shame, ground into your worth, and experience real financial freedom.
If you’re ready to trust yourself with money and create wealth on your terms, this podcast is for you.
I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s dive in.

From my soul to yours,

On today's episode. What I want to do is share with you what I came up with is basically my six shifts or tips that I think is really necessary when doing this money mindset work so that you can have a healthier relationship with money, your nervous system can feel more calm and at peace with money and just in general, and you can really truly live the life that we were all meant here and sent here to live, which is one of joy and abundance and fun, and playful and empowered. So let's dive in. Okay, so when there is this term and I don't know where I picked it up from, but there was this term that when I was working in my family's construction business called knowledge transference, and I don't know if it's like a business selling term or just when someone in the business has a lot of knowledge and when you're trying to impart this knowledge on someone who's coming up in the business, what I always thought was fascinating is this what they call it? Is this knowledge transference, right? It's like you have so much knowledge and how do you actually get that out of your brain and then put it into somebody else's, and I think that the more that I do this work, I can tell you all of the steps that you need to take. I can tell you all of my ahas. I can tell you client wins. I can give you all of this information but until you actually take it and run with it yourself and you play with it and you see what works for you and you make your own shifts, and then you tweak and you modify and you keep evolving and growing. Everyone is so uniquely different. Yes, we're all the same and we are all so different. I don't know what it feels like in your body and so you have to get in touch with that.
Erin Gray:So the first and foremost, number one with everything that I always bring to clients' attention is their awareness. Like what are you speaking? What kind of language are you using? Is it empowering, is it disempowering? Are you talking and telling a story that you're just accepted as fact, or are you actually choosing your story wisely? Like something like I really have been struggling with my money mindset Like that's just a story. A more empowering story is I'm in the process of changing how I think about money Much more empowering, right, and you've got to check in with your body and see how it feels and if you actually believe it. But I always start with awareness, like, actually start paying attention to how you speak, actually start paying attention to how you feel on a consistent basis, because how you feel is going to generate what your external, 3d, observed world is, and so, if you are not aware, you cannot change anything that you are not aware of. So I would always recommend, or I say, start there.
Erin Gray:Number two is what are you thinking currently that you don't want? And I think, in the beginning, sometimes this is such a beautiful thing, because what we don't want, I don't think you need to focus on it, but I do think it provides a lot of clarity. In the beginning for me, I knew exactly what I did not want and by knowing that, then I could swift, you know, shift it or flip the coin and be like, okay, what do I actually want? Right. And so when you are thinking about what you don't want, use that from a clarity standpoint. Use that from what am I focusing on? How much of my attention, how much of my energy is on on a daily basis, of what I don't want? How much am I complaining, how much am I blaming? How much am I, you know, talking about something that I can actually change, but I'm continuing to not change it, right? So think about when you are saying what you don't want. It's great clarity.
Erin Gray:But then I would say then shift and move into number three, which would be what do you actually want? What are your heart's desires? You already know what you don't want, brilliant, excellent. Okay, now what do you want? Have you actually sat down and journaled and talked about or dreamed and gotten into the imagination of, like, what would I love? And I don't know if a lot of us give ourselves this time to journal and to dream and to imagine and be in the imagination and to envision, because we are such a at least in the Western world, we are such a what we think is productive. Productive is actually doing, but productive is actually being in your imagination. Productive is actually resting and recovering and playing and being in that imagination and thinking about what would you love and really living from that space and feeling those feelings of having what you want. So really starting to understand and gain clarity on what you do want would be number three.
Erin Gray:Number four would be focusing on what you want, like I mentioned in number three, but also doing the somatic practices right, being in the vibration of having what you want and moving from that place. It's one thing to know what you want, it's another to be in that vibration. If you already had what you wanted, would you be feeling gratitude on a more consistent basis? Would you be having more fun? Would you, would your body feel a more sense of ease and calm, or would you be stressing and worrying and spinning in your head? No, right, you would be more at ease and at peace and you would also be thinking about like what's next after this? Right?
Erin Gray:So, really starting and I think that this is where sometimes four gets kind of skipped over because when you are not doing somatic practices, when you are not really living when I say living, what I mean is being that version of yourself right, because anything that you already want right now, it already exists in some other dimension. We just got to get on that frequency of it. And so the question becomes how often am I living from that space? Or am I thinking of that space, of that plane, of that dimension, but I'm still living from lack and insecurity and inadequacy and not feeling empowered, right? So there is a vibrational mismatch. So what you really have to start practicing. Think of it like trying on clothes in the morning Are you putting on a disempowered shirt or are you putting on an empowered shirt? Are you putting on a lack shirt or are you putting on an abundant easeful shirt? And yes, there are going to be times where we drop back into our human right, where we do feel disempowered or we do feel inadequate or lack or whatever. That might be shame or guilt, and I want you to recognize how long are you staying in that vibration or are you processing the emotion and then you're moving back to the person who is empowered, prosperous, having fun in their life, things are working well for them, everything's always working out for them, and I think somatic practices are highly undervalued. I think there's a lot of value that we can place on the mind and the imagination and also, are we releasing some of that stuff that is in our bodies and you're going to have to play with this.
Erin Gray:Somatic practices could be for you breath work. It could be EFT tapping Check my previous episode on how to do an EFT session with yourself. It could be energy work. It could be emotion code, releasing emotions in your body. It could be healing sound baths or walking in the grass or going and riding your bike or whatever it is. But you're going to have to play with this and not everything I suggest may resonate in your body and the only way that you're going to know this is if you actually do it yourself.
Erin Gray:So, really starting to focus on bringing your attention I mean I told a client the other day I'm like you've got to be like a watchdog, you've got to be so mindful and not like obsessive where that's all you're thinking about, but you've got to be aware, like when the mind or the or the language just wants to, or the vibration just wants to go back to what is has been. You have to bring it back. Your awareness has to bring it back to what is it that I actually want Somatic practices, being in that vibration and then moving from that place. And number five, I think, is we got to allow our humanness right this isn't spiritual bypassing here. This isn't, like everything's always rainbow and daisies, like we came here, I believe to have a human experience to also enjoy. You know, our time here on planet earth, and also there is. You know, how can you have so much joy If you don't know what so much sadness feels like you're going to have the opposites right, like that is a law, law of rhythm.
Erin Gray:Right, like you're going to have, or a contrast right, that's part of living and it's, you know, allowing yourself to feel but not to to stay there long-term. And knowing the way that I have started to look at this contrast, instead of getting attached to it, is knowing that when I am in this lower trough, I know that I'm on the up right, like, think of it like a roller coaster. When you go down in the trough, the roller coaster, it's got to go back up right. And so really not becoming attached to what your current 3D observed world is showing you, continuing to hold the vision, acting from that place, allowing the human in you to feel sadness or grief or shame or whatever it might be, and then continuing to move and know that you're on the uphill, you're moving on up to what's next and evolving. And instead of looking at like, I think we can become attached to the part of us where you know where things aren't working out well for us, and then we make all of these stories up about ourselves. And that's where we also have to realize that we have the power to decide. What kind of story do we want to tell, right? Do we want to tell an empowering story of this is a moment in time and this is prepping me for my next chapter, and look at all of the wisdom that I'm going to gain from this experience. Or do you look at it as this is happening to me, all of the things going wrong? I knew this would happen, the shoe's going to drop, all of this kind of stuff. So it's really, how are you going to story when you are in the troughs and not staying there, not getting attached to it and knowing that you are going to move through it, just like you always have with everything else?
Erin Gray:And I think the sixth one, which I think is the most important, is really living from God and spirit. How connected are you to God? How often are you trusting in a higher power than yourself? And I think that for some of us, at least for me, I know that I became disconnected and I know that was part of my path and I had to go through that. I had to become disconnected so that I could become reconnected and understand the importance of moving from God and spirit and having something bigger than myself to wake up every day for, and honor and move from, when you truly believe that there is a higher power that is helping you, that is loving, that wants only the best for you. That doesn't mean that it's without obstacles or challenges. It just means that we are God. We are moving from that place of of oneness and when we can really connect on that level, knowing that everything is always adding to our life, adding to our perspective, so that we can use that wisdom to whatever, whether it's in our business, with our children, with our spouses, with our families, and really really setting aside time and developing your own spiritual practice, whatever that is for you, that you are recognizing that you are one with God.
Erin Gray:It is not a separation, and that I believe that God, whatever way you want to view it, is a loving God. It is not what most religions have kind of indoctrinated us to believe, that it's a fearful God. I don't believe that. I believe that God really wants the best for us and that they want to like. We are here because we are that physical version of God and that God gets to express through us. And so are we thinking of ourselves from that light? Are we thinking of ourselves as, like the grandest version of ourselves, or are we looking at it from a very limited mind or concept and so really reconnecting and like what is your spiritual practice? And honoring that? Because when I notice, when I get into sometimes fear or lack, or I see that humanness in me come out, what I recognize is I have become disconnected with that moment and so how do I get back in, how do I reconnect? Those are the questions that I ask myself so that I can come back home.
Erin Gray:So I'm going to summarize the six that way. You have them, but really think about them and contemplate like and this isn't like a one through six, right, this is sometimes it's a one, sometimes you know you have to go back to one and like, oh, your awareness when you're, when you're working on something new, you know, sometimes it's more so in the three and the four, right, what do you want? So number one is awareness. Number two is what are you thinking that you currently like, that you don't want? If you are focusing on what you don't want, which is amazing, awareness.
Erin Gray:Number three is focusing on what you do want. What are your heart's desires? Really spending some time to get clear on that. Number four is focusing on what you want, doing those somatic practices, being in the vibration, moving from that place, as Neville Goddard says. You know, living from the wish fulfilled meaning you're living, you are being that person who already has what you want. Number five is allowing the troughs not getting stuck there or allowing or being a coming, attached in that place, knowing that the highs are on its way right, where you're just around the corner.
Erin Gray:And then six is really living from God and spirit. So ask yourself, you know, of the six that I mentioned, where you like, feel like, yeah, my skillset's pretty good there, and then where some of those that you're like you know what I could spend some more time of like really focusing there to increase that skill set so that I do come out of it. You know, my refractory period is shorter. So that's what I have for you today. I am rooting for you, I'm cheering you on, like we. I just want everyone to know how powerful we are and how we I truly believe the world has from lower consciousness beings. We have believed that we are not as powerful as what we are, and it is a returning home to ourselves. It is a coming back home to our power, our innate power, our God essence within us, and I just want everyone to know what that is and to feel what that is. So until next time, I'll see you in the next episode.
