Take this time to rest, reflect, and integrate; creating more than you consume as you clear space in your home, calendar, and mind. This pause is an invitation to let what you’ve already learned settle into your nervous system, so you can return with clarity, presence, and self-trust in your money and life choices.

In This Episode, We Explore:

  • Creating more than you consume as a sustainable money and life practice
  • Subtraction as creation: clearing your home, calendar, and mental load
  • How nervous system care quietly influences financial and life choices
  • Integrating lessons instead of seeking more strategies or information
  • Returning rested, embodied, and anchored in what truly matters

Erin Gray:

Today on the podcast, I wanted to discuss the idea of creation or creating more than we consume, and then give you an update on the podcast. You know, whether you have listened to one episode or every episode this year or somewhere in between, I just want to say thank you for being here. Now, this podcast exists because you desire and you have a desire and you are willing to show up every week to, you know, really increase your awareness and your consciousness and have an honest relationship with money and ultimately yourself. You know, my goal for you is to empower yourself even more, to return back home to yourself, to love yourself, to really grow your connection with God or source, and to really change the relationship that you have with money and ultimately yourself. So I just want to say thank you for being here. And I'm so grateful for each of you that tune in and listen every week. No matter where you are in the world, all of the countries, I don't have the numbers in front of me, but all of the countries that you um are tuning in from and all of the cities, I just want to say thank you with so much gratitude. I am so grateful that you are here and that you show up for yourself every single week. Okay, so I want to just let you know, real quick, that I am going to be taking the next two weeks off and spend some time with my family while my daughter is on break from school. And we're gonna see if we can get some skiing in. I'm sure you've probably seen, like I saw in Austria today, that there's like very little snow on the slopes as well. So it doesn't seem like it's just here in Idaho. It seems like it's kind of, I noticed it's in Tahoe as well. So maybe there's a there's a theme. So hopefully it snows, we can get some skiing in. I think that that is super fun for us that we get to do that as a family. I also, you know, am a very firm believer in practicing what I preach. And I think that we all need to have time where we can completely unplug from work and we can contemplate how far we have come and where we want to go thinking forward, you know, for 2026. You know, this is a perfect time to notice where all of our blessings are, what we have received, be fully present. So I am gonna take the next two weeks off from podcast. I will be back on Thursday, January 8th. And, you know, during this time, like I said, I'm gonna spend time with my family. I'm gonna spend some more time by myself, which I love to do. I'm gonna write more of my book. I don't know if I've mentioned that or not, but I am in the process of writing a book. So I'm super stoked about that. And, you know, I canceled all of my client calls for the next two weeks. I just want to be with my child, with my family, and with myself and really spend some time thinking about all of the blessings that I have received this year and all of the things that I have learned and all of the things I want to take with me in 2026 and some of the things that I want to leave. So use this time, you know, that I am gone, you know, from the podcast to unplug, to go be with yourself, to be with your family, to further embody the things that we have discussed on previous episodes. And I think it's such a beautiful time to create more than you can't, then, than you can consume, you know, like we are creators by definition. And sometimes I think we can fall into if we aren't aware, we can consume more than we can create. So use this time, and creation is gonna look different for everyone, right? I don't mean go create more things in your business, I mean create more space in your days, create more space in your house. Like one of the things that I told my husband and my child earlier this week, I was like, I want to go through some of the stuff. Like, there's kind of like a mud room when you walk into our house. So um from the garage, like I want to clean up. They have got like all of their shoes underneath. It's kind of like a bench. Like, let's go through and let's let's clean this up. Like, let's create more space and abundance of space in our house. So create more space in your house. Clean out what is and has been energetically draining you. You know, use this time to clean out some of your thoughts that you have in your brain that have been looping around and that you're ready to receive different beliefs. You know, create more time for you during this downtime, during these two weeks. Create more stillness. Like creation isn't about just adding, creation is also removing, right? What do we want to remove things so that we do create more time, more space, more allowance? You know, think about it of like how can I create more space for myself, for my family, for my body, for my nervous system, for my desires? Like, what are all of the things that I can create? Maybe it's taking away from, right? Taking removing things that are on the calendar. When I say taking away from, what I mean is removing the things on the calendar that don't serve me anymore. I don't think any of us need more information right now. I think we don't need any more podcasts, you know. I used to be this way where I would just listen to a podcast every day on my walk. I don't listen to podcasts on my walks anymore. You know, I'm with myself. I contemplate. So you have so much information already. Go embody this work at a deeper level and create something beautiful and magical over the next couple of weeks. You know, turn off the podcasts, even this one, obviously. You know, let what you have learned over the last year anchor in and settle. You know, really apply it. Think of how you can apply this work even deeper, how can you feel into this even more? How can you be even more connected with your body and your nervous system and your intuition? Like let it change how you move through the world, how you make decisions, how you relate to your money and to yourself. You know, use this time as to an opportunity to go within, you know, to really honor what has been maybe underneath the surface for a little bit that you haven't given time to. Honor that. Honor that knowing, honor what your body and your intuition has been asking of you. You know, allow for more rest, allow for more presence, and you know, to integrate what you have learned on all of these episodes throughout the year, take them even deeper. So I just want to say again that I am so grateful that you are here. Thank you for listening. Thank you for trusting me. I I hold that at a very high level. Like someone's trust in me, integrity is very important to me. So thank you for trusting me. Thank you for listening, for tuning in, for doing this work for you and for generations to come. I'm gonna be excited to come back. January 8th is when I will return. So I am gonna take these next two weeks off. You know, I had the thought, well, I could just, you know, sit and record, but it's not just sitting and recording. Like I have the ideas, I type it all out, I go through my list of things that I want to talk about. So it would be more time in my office. And I just really want to use this time to be with myself, be with my family, write my book, and and contemplate, you know, where we're going in 2026. So take this time and do it for you. I'm excited to come back. I'll be back on Thursday, January 8th. And I just want to say love on yourself. I'm rooting for you. I love you. I love each of you. Love on you, love on your family, love on your friends, all the humans. And I'll see you on January 8th.
