This is Ready Set Reiki, a podcast about Reiki, the universal energy life force, from the curious beginner to the seasoned master teacher, welcoming all systems, all lineages and all levels. Reiki is a journey and not a destination, and on this Ready Set Reiki journey, I refer to myself as a guide rather than host, as I too am traveling, supporting others and learning on this Reiki journey as well. And with that said, I am your guide, tracy C Wright, and today joining me on my journey is Amanda Wally. Now she is an energy healer specializing in Reiki, quantum methods, yoga and holistic modalities. She helps clients with somatic healing, nervous system regulation and self-healing by restoring balance and vital life energy force.
Speaker 1:She is a holy fire Reiki master, licensed massage therapist, quantum healing methods practitioner, beyond quantum healing practitioner and Kripalu yoga teacher. Her style and vision as an energy healer is to empower clients to be resilient self-healers through various modalities. She emphasizes that energy healing isn't a one-size-fit-all practice. By listening to her clients' needs and concerns, she finds the right modality to suit their specific needs. She can work with you online or in person, amanda, welcome to Ready Set Reiki.
Speaker 2:Hello. Thank you so much for having me. It's an honor to be here.
Speaker 1:All right, wonderful, so let's begin our journey together. So tell us a little bit about yourself.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so I am Amanda. I am a holistic practitioner on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and it's an interesting place to be a holistic practitioner In the past few years. Place to be a holistic practitioner In the past few years, the holistic healing methods has come more alive in this community. But as I was growing up, I grew up in the South and a lot of what I love and what I've always been drawn to isn't as celebrated as it might be in other parts of the country. So it truly has been my life's work and calling to find systems of healing that have really resonated with me and that's why this work is truly my passion is because it's like the whole wounded healer archetype. I went on this journey to help heal myself and now I'm using the same tools that I use on myself to assist others in the same way.
Speaker 1:Beautiful. So you have many systems of healing that you are mastering and sharing with the world, but when did Reiki come into your life? Did Reiki find you or did you find Reiki?
Speaker 2:It found me and this is a really interesting story because I was a school teacher. I was a special education teacher, I had done the traditional educational routes, I had gotten my master's degree in teaching special education and I was working in a school. And I can distinctly remember my frustration with life, just feeling like I was kind of stuck, kind of like on this hamster wheel, and every day felt the same and I didn't know how to get off the hamster wheel. I didn't know how it was going to change. I experienced a lot of heaviness, a lot of density, a lot of just feeling kind of trapped and like I couldn't escape. And at the time I started, I was curious about angels and I started reading some of the Kyle Gray books on angels and Kyle Gray is this angel expert and a wonderful resource. If any of you are curious about angels, and I remember reading, all you need to do is ask for help and the angels will help you. And so I did that. I would start praying to the angels and just asking please show me what it is I need to do, because I really don't know. I feel stuck, I don't know how to move forward or how to shift these feelings that I'm experiencing.
Speaker 2:And one day I was at work on lunch duty. I looked down at my feet and I saw a feather. I saw a feather and then I heard in my own mind. I heard take a Reiki class, take a Reiki class. And I had thought about this years ago. And I had thought about this years ago, learning Reiki, but it's something I hadn't even thought about for years and I knew it was a sign that that was the answer to the prayer. That's what I needed to do and that is how Reiki found me. It was an intuitive message, one of the first I had ever received, to bring me back on a path of alignment. So a lot of my story has to do with I maybe listened to the way of the world in my early adulthood and then it was a matter of reorienting to well, what's the life that I want to create? What's my big vision? To create? What? What do I? What's my big vision? What is it that I value and what and how can I ground that in the reality?
Speaker 1:Beautiful. I love Kyle Gray, big fan of his, also, like the angel guide reader, take all of his classes. So anyone that you know is ever curious and wants a safe space to learn, he's definitely the person. But what a beautiful way of getting a message to you to move forward into Reiki.
Speaker 2:I love that, yes, and it helped shift a lot of things for me. So I took the Reiki class and it was very I got the flu, like when I took Reiki one and two. I was sick during the class but and it was on Zoom at the time those things were on Zoom. I think this was after COVID, but it was like just after COVID, but everything was on Zoom and I remember being really sick. But it's because your body goes through this really intense detox and I felt that very physically in my body like a lot was purging and releasing.
Speaker 2:After taking Reiki one and two I was connected with a psychic who ended up being a mentor of mine and I learned a lot about angelic mediumship through her and I stayed in the teaching job for a couple more years but eventually it got to the point where I just felt like I couldn't do it anymore, like it just wasn't feeling good and my higher self kept coming in and saying you know, you decide how long. You decide how long you live this life. That doesn't feel good to you, Like it's up to you when you leave this situation, but you don't have to stay in it for a minute longer if it's not serving you. And so one day I got brave enough and listened to that message and I left teaching and for a while I didn't know. It's not like I quit teaching and I have, like this miraculous story of like everything was fine right away, because it wasn't.
Speaker 2:There were periods of time where I was going in and asking myself did I do something impulsive, like was this not the right thing? Like there was a little bit of uh doubts that can creep in, of like was this aligned or was I acting out of turn? But I eventually found the next best thing to do, which led me to massage school, which led me to now being a massage therapist, which has been really great because it's a way of introducing this holistic work I do, which I include sound healing and Reiki into massage sessions, and this has been a wonderful way to introduce clients who are more so interested in massage but after working with me for a little while, they might be interested in Reiki or sound healing.
Speaker 1:Yeah, beautiful. Yeah, I was also in education for many, many years and it is interesting how the universe guides you. You start to get burned out and I don't want to work the 10 hours anymore. Then I scaled back and then it was just like, okay, like I think I'm not supposed to be in this world anymore with that and move on to something else. So wonderful that you listened to your inner self and to help you with that to move forward, because it opened up a whole new world for you.
Speaker 2:Yes, and I think that's important to remember. When you feel that inner call from spirit, it's not like it's really easy to write it off or to doubt ourselves or to tell ourselves it's a pipe dream or it's not something for me. That happens for other people, but it can't be me. I have all these reasons why I have to stay locked into this certain mode of being, and the truth is, you can make different choices all the time. It's just a matter of deciding if it's what you want to do right now or not. Wonderful.
Speaker 1:So you are a healer of multiple modalities. You've been out doing the work for a few years, listening to your clients' needs and concerns. As you've been out doing the work for a few years, listening to your clients needs and concerns, as you've been out in this field navigating what are some of the common misconceptions you find about your work? And you can include yoga, the quantum healing you know somatic healing, in that answer as well in that answer as well.
Speaker 2:Common misconceptions I find a lot of times when people come to me for Reiki sessions, there's this element of fear or like this they're scared as to what is going to happen.
Speaker 2:There's like this, this anticipation that it's some like big energy bomb or something, and there's like all this fear with it and I like to explain to my clients that the way spirit works, the way your angels, your guides, your team of light, they know exactly where you are right now, today. They know how you're feeling, they know what you're spiritually ready to experience. So whatever happens is not going to be overwhelming, it's not going to be anything fear-based at all. It's always going to be something that uplifts you, that brings you into a more elevated, more peaceful state of being. That there is this element of trust and I try to help my clients feel that by, like when they're talking to me, when we're conversing before the session, letting them know that I am their guide, I am holding the space for them so that there's nothing that they need to worry about or fear that I'm taking care of it all, that only the highest intentions, only the highest light is allowed in the room with us. I'd say that's a big misconception. Is like this element of fear, quantum healing. So that's like your past life regression kinds of experience. And there's also shorter sessions that are more like a quantum journey that we can go on.
Speaker 2:I'd say people think that when I induce what's called hypnosis and this is spiritual hypnosis they think that they'll like lose consciousness or be like out of it. That's also not true. You're completely aware it's like when you listen to a guided meditation. It's the same experience you're still alert, awake, you can talk to me, you can ask me to stop, you can stop the session at any time, which usually people do not. I've never had that happen. I've never had anyone ever ask for the session to stop and um, and it's really safe work and it all comes down to who you're working with and who you resonate with. You get to. You're empowered as the client to find the healer that most resonates with you, that you feel safe with. That. The environment is safe and that's what makes the session safe for you.
Speaker 1:Very good, now you've been out empowering clients, helping them through their struggles, but what has been the biggest challenge, or rather struggle, you faced in your own healing journey?
Speaker 2:Well, I touched on it a little bit, but it was, and I only touched on it a little bit. We can expand on it too is choosing to be a Reiki healer is not easy, because you have loved ones around you and they care. They just care about you. It's not that they're trying to stop you from from doing this thing that you want to do. But when you start talking to people about, yeah, I'm starting a Reiki healing business, they are like what do you mean? You're going to tell people you're an energy healer? They're going to think that you're crazy. They're going to think that you're out of your mind. And that is true. That does happen.
Speaker 2:There are people that think that I am crazy and that think other people like me are crazy, and it's having to realize that is a reality that you're not going to resonate with every single person. There are a lot of people that don't like what they label as new age, or they don't like what they label as new age, or they don't like energy healing, or they just think it's really weird. And you have to get really solid and what you value, why you're doing the work, how it's helped you, how you know that it's going to help others, how you know, through faith, that you're being guided on this path. It's a lot of inner work, of letting go of the expectations or the need for validation, because a lot of times, when you're creating a business like this and you start stepping on the path, you're not going to get the congratulations or the pats on the back that you really want in those beginning stages. You'll get it later, though, but first it comes through you seeing the vision. So it's you that has to nurture it, it's you that has to believe in it. You are the one that is the strongest advocate for your vision, especially when it's a vision that might be labeled as more unusual by other people, but you're the one that nourishes it. And when you get to that breaking point where you are successful, that's when everyone else will kind of see oh well, now I understand, now that I see the outcome, why you're on this path, and it's sometimes just allowing yourself to be where you are in the progression can be a challenge too, because that's a whole other piece to it is.
Speaker 2:You might want your business, to your Reiki healing business, to flourish like on day one when you set up the website, like you want to see the bookings right away, but you may not.
Speaker 2:It may be several years before you get any bookings at all, and that can be another part of the journey.
Speaker 2:That's difficult because you sit there, you have the vision, you have this, knowing that this is the work you want to do, but you're sitting there asking, well, why is it not coming through now?
Speaker 2:And you have to get to this detachment of I don't know like why this isn't happening for me yet, but this understanding that it's almost like an initiation, a spiritual initiation that you walk through for your business and maybe there's some things that you're still healing that needs to come into full balance before your business can flourish. There's a lot of energy around creating this type of business and that your energy has to be serving you, that you have to be doing the work, you have to feel the balance come in and then you're able to extend that to your clients. So always honoring where you are in the process and not feeling like you have to rush it around or micromanage spirit, and there's a lot of surrender and a lot of trust that goes into it, a lot of believing in yourself before anyone else believes in you, and these are all the biggest challenges I have faced in trying to do this work too.
Speaker 1:Right. And it's just interesting that, say, you decide, you know I want to be an actress or I want to be a musician or I want to be an artist. You know thing really in the in the arts per to say you always get that flack from someone, oh, you can't make a living for that, you're not going to do this and do that. But then when you're doing, say, the healing arts, it's that same kind of flack. And it makes me think of Jim Carrey had a speech that he gave where he talked about his father had a dream. I can't remember what the profession was that he wanted to do, but he ultimately chose something safe like accounting, and his father eventually lost that job. And Jim Carrey learned very early that you can fail at something that you hate. So why not do something that you love?
Speaker 1:If you feel this calling, go for it. Not everybody's put on this earth to be doctors and lawyers, right? Right, our engineers. You're here for a reason, right, and it could be to do yoga classes for someone, right? Quantum healing sessions, reiki sessions. So if you have that calling, move forward. It's just being brave and you know kind of, you know just trying your best to ignore it If it doesn't help you grow or serve a purpose. Try to, you know. Get that out. Don't listen to the naysayers. Continue on your path, because this is what you're meant to do.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and it's a lot of deprogramming that goes into it, so releasing the parts of you that believe that it won't work out, because the magic of manifestation is you believing in the manifestation. But then, as you're doing that work, you have to start picking apart what parts of me don't believe. Oh, my inner child. My inner child needs some healing around this and doing some of the deep, diving in that way too, and doing some of the deep diving in that way too.
Speaker 1:I mean, there's so many wonderful systems of Reiki out there. Holy Fire is a great one that helps kind of shed that culturally creative self. Another one that the International Center of Reiki has been working on is Kid Reiki. Reiki has been working on is kid Reiki, and when I took the training, you know I went in because it it worked with everything I did. It made sense to me to do this, but when I went through the training it was also about helping heal your inner child. So that's a great one as well.
Speaker 1:So as you're out navigating through these different systems to find your just right, look and see what that particular energy focuses on and works on right. So if you want to shed that culturally claded self, do you have religious trauma? Perhaps holy fire is your just right. You need that inner child work. Maybe kid Reiki and I mean Reiki, is wonderful and Azui sensei, you know his particular style, helps you as well, but there are lots of different ones out there to choose from that can help you along your journey Absolutely. So when it is time for you to get your energetic tune up, what are some qualities that you look for in a Reiki practitioner or energy healer?
Speaker 2:that you look for in a Reiki practitioner or energy healer. So I find that the right person always shows up. So the first step, I'd say, is set the intention that you're looking for a healer, and then you'll notice you either see an Instagram post or a reel or an advertisement or whatever it is. Maybe it's someone out in your real world it's not internet based and you'll just feel that inner tug that I have to work with this person. But I would say, on top of that, that's more like an energetic pool, like we.
Speaker 2:I believe we have these soul contracts. We agree who we're going to work with or who we're going to let work on us. There's like some kind of soul level agreement that's happening because this work is highly energetic, we working on like the high, the higher dimensions too, as well as in the physical reality. But I'd say if I was evaluating, if I was going to work with someone, I'd also look at how authentic they seem to me. I don't really like selecting people based on like an aesthetic, like do they look spiritual enough? I like to listen, I like to listen to what are they saying and does that do? I feel that in my heart and if I can feel that in my heart, then I know it. It feels good to me and that's the kind of person that I would want to work with.
Speaker 1:Wonderful. So what advice would you give someone who's just entering this profession? I mean, you were bold and brave and left your teaching job and you know you are out here and you know you really are making a really wonderful career for yourself and even being on YouTube as Angelic Harmony Healing.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So if you are new to the profession and you feel this call to start this Reiki career and it doesn't even have to just be Reiki, maybe you're a quantum healer or you do tarot, or whatever it is that you're called to do I would say believing in yourself is the best thing that you can do.
Speaker 2:No matter what it looks like to everyone else, no matter if you're seeing the support and the external reality, if you're putting stuff out on social media and it feels like no one's liking your posts or you're not getting the energy back that you're really wanting and of course you want it you create something and you want people to see it and to like it, but don't let that stop you, if you're not receiving that initial validation, to keep believing in yourself, to keep showing up. That's the best thing you can do is to keep showing up with true faith and surrender and knowing that it's going to work out for you one way or another. It might not work out the way your ego wants it to initially, but keep showing up and it's going to. The way forward will be shown to you one step at a time.
Speaker 1:Well, think about this in the terms of, say, a particular song or a particular TV show that maybe didn't do so well, and then, years later, all of a sudden, it has a resurge. It makes me think of the song by Kate Bush Running Up the Hill, right, and it came out. Not too many people knew it. But then stranger things happen and then it was like boom. So just trust the process. The timing may not be right now, so keep posting, right, keep doing those things, keep showing up. You're practicing, you're improving your craft, you're getting stronger and braver and more confident. And it may hit that point that, boom, something happens and they come back and they see your work. So yeah, really, keep at it. Someone's watching. All you need is that one particular video. That's what my kids say, like you only need that one thing and it can turn everything around. So, yeah, keep at it. So what books do you recommend?
Speaker 2:So, the books I recommend. I brought them with me. Yeah, I love Adyashanti and I have. He is a Zen Buddhist teacher and I have loved him since I was 18 is when I think I found him. But the book I recommend is the End of your World, and he has a few books.
Speaker 2:This one is about what happens after you wake up. It's like what happens after you go through your awakening process and it helps you orient into your reality and he also teaches a lot about how you know you don't just necessarily a lot of people think that you just you have one initial awakening experience and that's it. But he teaches like, for many people, you might have an awakening experience and then it kind of dips down and then you return, you wake up again and then you kind of go unconscious again, and so this book is really great for guiding you through. Well, if you're going unconscious again, what is it that you're kind of working through? What is the deconditioning process that's happening or what is healing within you as you're going through the awakening process? So I love that. I also think Adyashanti just has a way of speaking to everyone in this really mystical way. You can listen to his transmissions and no matter who you are, what your level of awareness is, you're going to get something out of it. It's going to reach you in some capacity.
Speaker 2:I also recommend this is a channeled material called I Am the Word, by Paul Selig, I believe, and I really find that this is a good, energetic read and it's interesting when this was written. This was written before COVID and it says at the top a guide to the consciousness of man's self in a transitioning time. So it's a channel material written for the times that we live on, about how our earth is shifting and how we're all coming into what they call agreements, like when human beings have agreements about how reality is. That's what will be, and what's happening now is a lot of us are shifting, what those agreements are, what we're allowing to be on our planet and what our vision is going forward. So I really this book.
Speaker 2:It's called the Reiki Business Book by Pam Allen LeBlanc, and I found this book through the International Center for Reiki Training. She's one of the registered Reiki teachers there, but this is a great book on how you can start your Reiki business and a lot of it is just letting the Reiki energy guide you. So I highly recommend that, especially if you're. Even if it's not a Reiki business, it's still a very helpful book.
Speaker 1:Wonderful. Pam was my teacher, so I cannot say she's wonderful, amazing, a great resource. I think that should be in every Reiki practitioners bookshelf bookcase and she also does mentoring on there as well. In addition, she is one of the authors of the Animal Reiki, the ICRT, animal Reiki manual. So, yeah, wonderful, wonderful. Thank you for those resources, thank you. So what other services do you offer? Do you offer classes, events, trainings?
Speaker 2:So the big thing that I'm excited about right now and this isn't an in-person offering, so if you're ever on the Mississippi Gulf gulf coast, you could come to this but I am doing beach side sound healing and we meet once a month in bay st louis, on the beach during the full moon and I do a sound healing session and the clients lay, they lay on a towel and they get to to listen to the, the sacred sounds while we're on the beach.
Speaker 2:That's one thing I'm excited about that I'm doing every month. But in addition to that, I also do Reiki sessions, which you can choose if you want to do this online or in person. In person, I hold these sessions at Recipro Massage is the place of business that it's called. But if you look up my website, which is amandawallycom, it will give you all the details on how you can work with me. It will give you all the details on how you can work with me, where you can work with me. In addition to Reiki sound healing, I also do quantum journeys or your past life regression. So there are many, many ways you can work with me, also if you're local to the Mississippi Gulf Coast or you're tuning in and you're from Mississippi.
Speaker 1:I do in-person yoga classes, and so where else can we find you? You mentioned online, in-person. You mentioned your website, wwwamandawallycom. Is there anywhere else? We can check you out as well if we're interested in you, you know, seeing a session or a service that you provide yes, so you can find me on instagram at angelic underscore harmonies one one one, so follow me on instagram.
Speaker 2:I post on there. You can also find me on YouTube, which you mentioned earlier, at Angelic Harmony Healing on YouTube. So find me on YouTube. And those are pretty much the only social media I use aside from Facebook. I do have a Facebook business page. It's called Amanda Wally Massage and Yoga, so if you look that up, you can follow that page and that will tell you more so about current events or things coming up that you can participate in.
Speaker 1:Beautiful and in your practice you emphasize that energy healing isn't the one size fit all. Practice right.
Speaker 2:Right, absolutely, we can find the perfect method unique to you, wonderful.
Speaker 1:Well, this ends our first part of our journey together, and I'm going to continue to be your guide through the next part, which is social media questions that are sent in by listeners and Reiki students. So here we go. Number one you studied Azui, holy Fire. What was it about Holy Fire Reiki that appealed to you over other systems of Reiki, when?
Speaker 2:I was looking for the Reiki training that I wanted to do. I wanted to be sure that it felt authentic to me, that it came from a solid foundation, and I love the ICRT their website because the teachers were registered, they had done extensive training and that made me feel good about even though it does cost a little more to go through the ICRT. It does cost a little more to go through the ICRT, but to me that was very valuable. I wanted to pay more to know that what I was receiving was authentic and felt good to me, and I really didn't know much about what Holy Fire was until I went through and did it and then I loved it even more. I went through and did it and then I loved it even more.
Speaker 2:My favorite part about Holy Fire is the ignitions. It's almost like a meditation in a way. It's not so much the Reiki masters putting their hands specifically over you and transmitting the energy. The Reiki master calls the energy into the room and it's more directed by source, where the energy goes, and I really love that because it's really empowering and it demonstrates what we are as energy healers. We are these conduits for divine energy to flow. We are not the divine energy flow, although we have our own unique piece that is source creator. But it's about holding space and that's what I really love about Holy Fire Reiki as a system.
Speaker 1:Right when I began my Reiki journey, it was in Azuri Rahiho and through my lineage. After you got your master's it didn't qualify you as a teacher, it only qualified you as a master practitioner. I went on for a year like apprenticeship, internship and in that time my lineage you kind of had to create your own manual from you know the teacher you had before. So through time that begins to change. So when my manual was complete and I went out into the world and connected with other practitioners, I saw that my lineage was a little different. And then I began to see there's a little bit of difference in everything.
Speaker 1:And what called me to Holy Fire is that William Wren has the healing touch and it is the book, the manual is evidence, space. He can back everything up. It's in one source and someone who learns Holy Fire and whether it's in Mississippi, texas, germany or Russia, we've all learned from that book. Versus many of us that come together, well, I didn't learn that in this one and this one was different. So that's what appealed to me with that and then with the Holy fire instead of the teacher placing hands on the student for an attunement placement, it allows the light from the highest source to come down. So it's directed and you have your own experience. In addition, you're guided through an experience which we could color a meditation, so you're able to go inward with that. So that's what appealed to me with working with you know the systems under the ICRT program, so all right. Number two how important is somatic healing in the work that you do?
Speaker 2:I find that it is the lens that I, as the practitioner, look at everything through, and that's because I really can feel other people's emotions and energy. So a lot of the work I do is based on connecting the client with well, what are you feeling, or is there something that you're feeling? And if you are feeling something, where is it in your body? Can you sense it, can you experience it, can you let it be known? Because a lot of times we suppress these emotions and that's where we get our energy blockages. It's blocked life force energy and your life force energy is meant to be free, flowing and that brings you into a state of balance, health, ease, and this goes back to ancient Chinese medicine techniques. It's nothing new. This is the foundations of healing as a human on planet earth for a long time now, and so I like to connect people to, to approach those blockages and what can happen.
Speaker 2:There's a range of experiences and it depends on the person, but sometimes there might be an emotional release. There might be a need to express whatever it is that is held or felt. Whether that is a deep sigh, that's an experience someone can have, or maybe you just need to cry and you don't need to have someone telling you don't cry. You need to have someone saying it's okay to cry, just let yourself cry, let it all out.
Speaker 2:And that's a lot of what I do when I work with clients in these instances where there is a blockage and it's just needing to be moved, and once that emotional release is expressed, it's no longer living, launched inside of the body, wreaking right, causing havoc in your system. So the more that we can move these energies, the freer you will feel after the experience. So I find that somatic healing it's essential in the work that I do. Even in yoga class, I'd say I don't teach yoga as a form of exercise. I teach it as a somatic healing experience. So it's also another opportunity to go into the body, intelligence and to move in such a way that we're moving the blocked energy and promoting a healthy flow of chi energy.
Speaker 1:Beautiful Number three as an energy healer who's trained in various holistic modalities, which modality do you use to help regulate your?
Speaker 2:nervous. I need movement. I can be very ungrounded as a spiritual being living on earth. I can be really in my head, in the crown, in these upper chakras, and it's really difficult. I have a harder time bringing myself down into the roots or the feet, or feeling my feet, feeling my body, sometimes can be the challenge. So anything with movement which, of course, I'm a yoga teacher, I love yoga, I'll always love yoga. But more recently I've really gotten into Tai Chi and Qigong as practices. Practices and I love them because they really specifically target your meridian lines which hook into your chakra centers and it it just helps clear everything out. It helps me feel like I'm in my body, I'm connecting with my feet and like I can feel that human component that I sometimes have difficulty with. So that really helps me get attuned with like the humanness and helping the nervous system shift down.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I started doing that as well, and it was like worlds colliding. It's like oh my goodness.
Speaker 2:Yes yes, it is. It is because there's an energy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's what I was surprised about when I showed up. I'm like wait a minute, Like this is everything I'm doing all in one yes.
Speaker 2:So it's, and I would say these practices are great for anyone that is an energy healer or a practitioner. They're really good for you to get a sense of like what is she, what are the meridians? Through an experience like you're able to experience it, which will both help you when doing energy healing on yourself and when you're working on clients.
Speaker 1:Well, that was our last question and, as we were talking, is there anything you may have forgotten or something that you would like to share with the listeners? You can take this time right now.
Speaker 2:I would love to just guide a little. A little quantum journey, and we can keep it. We can keep it shorter, but I think this would be a great time to do a little quantum journey. And we can keep it. We can keep it shorter, but I think this would be a great time to do a little quantum journey. So, if you're listening, I'll encourage you to close your eyes and be sure that you're not driving. Pause this and come back to it if you are driving, but be somewhere safe if you're going to participate in this segment.
Speaker 2:But we'll close our eyes and begin by taking a slow, deep breath in an even slower breath out, breathing in again, breathing in again and feeling how you can just let go of any peace, ease, relaxation. And right now I'd like you to bring your attention to your heart space, to the very center of your chest, to this feeling space, this feeling dimension. You can even place your hands on your chest if you like, feeling the warmth of the hands, the slight pressure of the hands, and when you breathe in, the chest will rise to meet the hands. Breathe in the chest will rise to meet the hands. When you breathe out, the hands sink down and in.
Speaker 2:And so just keep focusing on your breath, feeling the hearts, and I'd like you to see in your mind's eye a beautiful green light. And this green light is the energy of your heart itself, and you feel it wrap around your whole body, body bringing self-compassion, love, understanding to you right here, right now, exactly as you are. Nothing about you needs to change, it only needs to be loved, understood. So allow yourself to feel that for just a moment, feeling this love wrapping all around your body, and you can begin to deepen the breath, wiggle through fingers and toes and, as you're ready, take your time. There's no rush at all, but when you're ready, you can blink your eyes open.
Speaker 1:All right, thank you so much for that experience. You are so welcome. All right, amanda. Thank you so much for taking time out of your very busy schedule to join me on this Ready Set Reiki journey.
