Episode #141 with Christian Stone Reiki Business Mastery: Building a Healing Practice in Today's World
"Just because something is meant to be doesn't mean it's going to flow and be easy." These words from Christian Stone capture the essence of what makes his approach to Reiki business development so refreshing and authentic. As the founder of the Reiki Business Collective, host of Build Your Reiki Business podcast, and creator of the Reiki Business Summit, Christian brings a wealth of practical wisdom to practitioners navigating the sometimes challenging path of turning their healing gifts into sustainable businesses.
Christian's mission to help build 10,000 Reiki businesses for a better world stems from a profound belief that more practitioners can create a massive shift toward compassion, mindfulness, and healing globally. His journey began in 2014 when Reiki found him (not the other way around), and what started as a personal spiritual practice transformed after helping a friend through crisis with distance Reiki. That pivotal experience revealed Reiki's potential beyond self-healing.
Throughout our conversation, Christian addresses common misconceptions about Reiki—particularly that it's limited to hands-on healing rather than a complete system of practices. He compassionately discusses the tendency for practitioners to compare their journeys to others, reminding listeners that each person's path unfolds uniquely. For those feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of starting a Reiki business, his message is clear: be gentle with yourself, expect challenges, and know you're not alone.
What makes Christian's guidance so valuable is his teacher's spirit, breaking down complex business concepts into actionable steps through his podcast, Facebook community, and books including "Reiki Business Ready." He emphasizes that your Reiki business doesn't need to look like anyone else's to be successful—in fact, embracing your distinctive gifts and approach might be precisely what your future clients need.
Whether you're considering starting a Reiki business or looking to grow your existing practice, Christian's resources, including his free Reiki Biz Kit, provide practical support for practitioners at any stage of their journey. Discover how your healing gifts can create both personal fulfillment and positive change in the world.
I'm Christian Stone, and when I became a Reiki practitioner in 2014, I never dreamed I'd start a Reiki business. I learned Reiki for my personal spiritual development and never would have guessed I'd one day own my own thriving business. As a matter of fact, when my Teachers talked about Reiki business topics in my training, I didn't think it would ever apply to me.
We never know how our Reiki journey might unfold, though, and after a few years, I knew I felt called. I also had no clue what I was doing and had a lot to learn. Maybe this sounds familiar because I know that you, too, might have challenges, questions, or hesitations with getting started and growing...even when you, too, know you are called. | testimonials
That's why I founded the Reiki Business Collective, created the Reiki Biz Kit, created the Build Your Reiki Business program, and started the Build Your Reiki Business podcast.
Ready Set Reiki is a journey

Speaker 3:Well, thank you, tracy, tracy so much. I am so honored to be here with you and so honored to have everyone tuning in.
Speaker 2:So thank you everyone all right, well, let's begin our journey together. So I let our listeners know just a little bit about you, so tell us, tell us about yourself.
Speaker 3:Sure Tracy. Thank you so much. Well, tracy, I don't know about you, but my guess is that you are probably interested in a world with more compassion. Is that true?
Speaker 2:I would probably say so yes.
Speaker 3:And how about a world with more mindfulness and presence?
Speaker 2:Absolutely.
Speaker 3:And a world with more growth and healing, love and all of those good things.
Speaker 2:That sure would sound nice, wouldn't it?
Speaker 3:Yes, I agree and I believe that those things are possible with Reiki, and that's why my mission is to help build 10,000 Reiki businesses for a better world, because I know that I would love to see a world with more compassion, more presence, more kindness, more gratitude, more love, more growth and healing. And I do believe that that is possible with Reiki. You know, my Reiki journey started back in 2014. That's when I became a Reiki practitioner. And when I became a Reiki practitioner, my goal with the experience was for my own personal and spiritual development and I was not planning to use Reiki for others definitely was not planning to have a Reiki business.
Speaker 3:But I had a friend who called me up one day and she was going through a major life change. She had experienced a job loss, she had no idea what was going to happen or where to turn, and she just felt just like her life was in shambles. And as she was telling me on the phone about her experience, I was like Reiki, you need Reiki. And so we scheduled a distant Reiki session and that was my first distance Reiki session with my friend. She had such an impactful experience. It was life-changing for her and to me, reiki had been something that I wanted to use just for myself Reiki myself Reiki, my garden Reiki, my home and use it for my own spiritual well-being. But it was in that experience that I really had the idea of just how impactful Reiki is and just how have more people being helped by Reiki. And I don't know about you, but I think that if we can create 10,000 Reiki businesses, we can create a massive shift in the world where did that number come from for that 10,000?
Speaker 3:That's a great question, tracy. So you know, when I was thinking about my vision for that amazing world and all of the great shifting that we can do together, I thought, okay, we need a really big number, I want a really big number. And I thought, well, 1,000, that's not big enough, and 1 million like that's too big. And so I was like 10,000, that's not big enough, and 1 million like that's too big. And so I was like 10,000, yes, 10,000 is doable and it's going to have a major impact.
Speaker 2:Beautiful, beautiful. So would you say that Reiki found you or you found Reiki?
Speaker 3:You know this is so common among us, isn't it? You know that Reiki found me. We all say, most of us say, and absolutely 1000%, tracy, reiki found me. So, like I mentioned, I became a Reiki practitioner in 2014. And at that time, I was a professor at a community college and as part of being a teacher and staff member at the community college, I was able to take classes at the college and so I've always been interested in woo-woo kinds of things, spiritual things, the card reading and the meditation and the spiritual stuff. As a matter of fact, many years before, I was the editor of a holistic magazine and I had actually, at that time, written myself a note to find and interview a Reiki practitioner for the magazine. Even though I didn't know what it was, I'd heard it, seen it written somewhere and was like wrote myself a note, find an interview a Reiki practitioner to write an article.
Speaker 3:So, years later, 2014, I'm at this community college and they offer classes on all kinds of things like card reading and mediumship and all kinds of other cool classes. So I took those cool classes and one day a colleague came to me and she said, christian, we're teaching Reiki this semester. And I was like she obviously thought I knew what it was. I was like, oh, we're teaching Reiki, like you know, you're going to take that right. And so she walked away and I was like Reiki, what is that?
Speaker 3:So I got out the course catalog and I read the description and I was like, yeah, I'm going to take this class. And so Reiki found me in the way that it had to, you know, because I was already taking those classes, already interested in all of those topics. I had heard of Reiki many years ago but still did not know what it was. And so it was through that class that my Reiki journey began. Now, as it so happens, years after I took that class and was a Reiki practitioner, I was going through some old notes, old files on an old computer, and I found that note to myself to find and interview a Reiki practitioner.
Speaker 2:And there I was a Reiki practitioner and there I was Amazing, amazing. I'm sure you look back and never imagine that you would be where you are today Unbelievable.
Speaker 3:Yes, for sure, Tracy, and I think that many of us can say that and when I say many of us, I mean many of us, no matter what our journey is and where our path takes us. But I think many of us, especially as Reiki practitioners, can say wow, we never expected to be here.
Speaker 2:Right, so you are founder of the Reiki Business Collective. You host a podcast to build your Reiki business. You are an author, you are the creative energy behind the Reiki Business Summit. So, as you are out, navigating, encouraging, supporting others, what is a common misconception you find about Reiki?
Speaker 3:Yeah, great question, tracy. Thanks for this question. And first, there are many right. So we know, as Reiki practitioners, in our discussions with others, we know there are lots of misconceptions, and there are even lots of misconceptions within the Reiki community. I believe that the biggest misconception is that Reiki is only hands-on healing.
Speaker 2:Oh yes.
Speaker 3:And without realizing or knowing that there's a whole system to it.
Speaker 3:And so when we say Reiki, people outside of the community probably most know it as the hands-on healing aspect, and in the community when we talk about Reiki, we're typically, mostly usually talking about the hands-on aspect, but of course, as we know, it's so much more than the hands-on healing.
Speaker 3:That's only one part of the system of Reiki which is just so much more deep and profound than simply the hands on healing, although we know that that simply it's not, you know, just that, that simple kind of an experience, and so it's definitely that you know the those misconceptions are. There are a lot of them, and I believe that one of the misconceptions as well among practitioners is, well, I would say, maybe, tracy, a mistake. I have a video on my YouTube channel about three Reiki mistakes that we often make, and one of them is comparing our Reiki journey to others and you know saying, oh well, this person can see things in their sessions and you know they're getting all of this information and I don't. That means that I'm not a good practitioner, and for sure no way. We all have our own unique journey.
Speaker 2:Right, right, I know that for myself when I even went to get my attunement if you do the holy fire, it's the placement that my fellow classmates would have these amazing experiences during the meditation experience or attunement, and I would end up falling asleep and they would have these really descriptive things and I'm like, oh, my goodness.
Speaker 2:So it's really easy to compare yourself, but you're on it on a different journey and even when I started out, I ended up getting, you know, people that wanted me to teach them to be teachers, more than individual sessions. And I was struggling with that because, like, why can't I get all of these people to come for sessions, but I'm getting people that want to teach me? And then I just had to kind of change the way I looked at it, that I was a teacher's teacher, that I'm here to level up those to send them out. So once I made peace with that cause, I thought it was going to look just like my teacher. She's like, oh, I have like three sessions of people a week and I'm teaching this or, you know, offering sessions this many times a month, and I wasn't getting that. But I was getting the people that said, hey, I saw you, I want you to teach me yeah. Yes, I love that yes.
Speaker 3:Yes, and this is so very true, you know, not just with our Reiki journey as a whole, but with our Reiki business as well, which, of course, is, you know, tied to our Reiki journey. They're just so interwoven. But is this idea that we have to? It has to look like everyone else's. And that's simply not true at all, so I love that you shared that, tracy.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and even when you talk to someone like, hey, maybe you should do the masters, and they'd say, well, I don't wanna teach, well, you don't have to if you don't want to, this can just be something to deepen your practice, raise your vibration a little bit. Yeah, so everyone's unique in their own path, but it took a while to learn that, because in the beginning you're looking at other people and trying to compare and you just have to drop it and say you know what, I'm on my own path. You know same thing as you. You probably never imagined you'd be doing a podcast, a business summit, right?
Speaker 3:Yes, exactly, and I think you really hit on something that's so very true of human nature, tracy, is that we look to others you know we're very communal beings and so we look to others for cues about what we should be doing and how we should be doing it, and so when we do that on our Reiki journey, that's a normal, typical human kind of a thing to do, and so it is hard for us to step back and say, just because they're doing it that way or that they had that experience, doesn't mean that I have to, and it doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with my unique experience.
Speaker 2:Absolutely, and that's when you dip into that energetic toolbox and give yourself Reiki to the situation.
Speaker 3:Yes, amen.
Speaker 2:So you have been out helping and assisting many, not only in their Reiki business journey but also in their own personal struggles. But what has been the biggest challenge or struggle you have faced in your own healing journey?
Speaker 3:Yeah, wow. Well, great question, tracy. And I want to say how, how long is the podcast? Um, you know, I will say back in the day.
Speaker 3:So before I was a Reiki business owner years ago, I was a career coach. That was one of the things that I did and I coached people, you know, with interviewing and things, and oftentimes, you know, a main question in interviews is what's your greatest weakness? And so this question, you know, question of, about personal challenges, is very similar to the weakness question, and I actually have a formula for how to answer this kind of weakness question, and it is that the time we look at a weakness or a challenge that we might have on our journey, if we flip that over, there's a strength on the other side, and that strengths and weaknesses are really just two sides of the same coin. And so, you know, if on my journey, let's say that I well, I'm short. So if you met me in person, I'm pretty short and one of my weaknesses is that I can't dunk a basketball. So if you handed me a basketball and you're like, dunk, this not going to happen, but I'm really good at crawling into small spaces, and so there's a strength within that weakness right.
Speaker 3:And so when we flip that over, we've got that positive side to it. And when we look at, you know, talking about our strengths, our weaknesses, I like to encourage people to lead with the strength, and so, you know, for me, tracy. So you know, for me, tracy, whenever it comes to one of my many challenges is that I like to help people understand and I like to approach information from a variety of standpoints, and so, because of that, sometimes I can talk around things and sometimes I can be a little repetitive, and so, in other words, sometimes I just don't get right to the point right away. That's something that I'm working on right now, and so that's something that is a challenge for me at this time. But you know, it is something that I am aware of and working to improve upon. But that's just one, tracy, and you know I don't know how much more time you have. Well, it must be.
Speaker 2:You have that teacher spirit, you know as myself, I'm a teacher as well Must be. You have that teacher spirit. You know as myself, I'm a teacher as well. So it seems repetitive. You know saying things over and over again. This part of the game here, yeah thanks.
Speaker 3:I know it sometimes drives people nuts.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but then you're the right person for that. Who needs it, right yeah?
Speaker 3:That's a great point. That's a great point. But you know, that's only one challenge on my spiritual journey. But the challenges really are numerous and the thing too with those challenges is that they shift and change. As we shift and change and as we grow and our journey evolves. Those challenges that we have grow and evolve. And who knows what spiritual challenges I might have in the future. I can only guess Right.
Speaker 2:But we ask that it be done with grace and ease. Oh yes, grace and ease. Grace and ease.
Speaker 3:Exactly.
Speaker 2:What is something that you? What is? What do you wish your younger self knew about Reiki?
Speaker 3:Oh, what do I wish my younger self knew about Reiki. Oh, what do I wish my younger self knew about Reiki. I wish that my younger self knew that I would be a Reiki practitioner Like that. Wow, I would end up as a Reiki practitioner. And I think that I also would like my younger self to know that Reiki has always already been with me and that I didn't become a Reiki practitioner when I got my attunements and I didn't become a Reiki practitioner when I took my trainings. I was, in my heart and soul, a Reiki practitioner even before then, and so that, I think, is something pretty powerful. But at the same time, you know to go back in time and tell my younger self something I don't think. So I think I'd make him figure it out for himself.
Speaker 2:But isn't it amazing when you watch students and they're, you know, realizing and putting the dots together during the training, that they might have been doing these things for as long as they can remember and now they're just getting a name for it? And it's that relief, like, oh my goodness, and that validation that they are on that right path. So many people, when they come to the training, you know they've already been doing a lot of these things and it's just yeah.
Speaker 3:Yes, absolutely yeah.
Speaker 2:So, when it is time for you to get an energetic tuna, what qualities do you look for in a Reiki practitioner?
Speaker 3:Yeah, great question. So the qualities that I look for in a practitioner are, first of all, self-practice, so that they themselves are practicing. I think that's super important in a teacher and the same kinds of things that I believe are important qualities for a Reiki teacher. So, first of all, self-practice, you know, are you practicing the system of Reiki, and not just the self-Reiki, hands-on aspect, which is very important, but also, you know, getting into the practice, learning about it, studying, expanding your knowledge. So are you still actively learning and studying? I also look for an ability to listen and an openness to questions and to answering questions, so a willingness to admit that you don't know the answer and a willingness to admit that you might be wrong, and an ability to meet student questions and curiosity with openness and compassion rather than any kind of dismissiveness or because I said so kind of an approach. So those are the kinds of qualities that I think are really important, that I look for in a practitioner and that I try to emulate myself as a practitioner and teacher.
Speaker 2:Wonderful, all right. Now this one's a very important one because you know you are the founder of the Reiki Business Collective, your podcast and your book. Right, you've got this amazing book Reiki Business Ready Six Ways to Know You're Ready for that Business. So what advice would you give someone who's just coming into this spiritual work? They feel that, calling that, yes, it's time for me to move forward and create that business.
Speaker 3:Yeah, first of all, yay, it's exciting. It is exciting and it's a wonderful and blessed thing. And my first encouragement is to be gentle with yourself, because when we move forward with the Reiki business, the spiritual business, whatever it might kind of be, might be even any kind of new venture, no matter what that might be we're going to have things come up for us, things in terms of things that need healing for ourselves. On our own journey, we're going to run into road bumps and challenges, we're going to run into questions and uncertainties, we're going to come up against fears, and so the very first thing that I encourage is to be kind, be compassionate and be gentle with yourself, because it really is an unfolding journey that is going to have all kinds of twists and turns, and all kinds of twists and turns that you can't guess at. And so please be gentle with yourself, including when it's not easy.
Speaker 3:Be gentle with yourself, including when it's not easy. One of the things that we often think when we are starting a spiritual business is that if we have our chakras aligned and balanced, if we send our business Reiki, if we just meditate enough and do enough visioning and law of attraction stuff, then it will all be okay and it will flow and be easy. But just because something is meant to be doesn't mean it's going to flow and be easy. And so sometimes, when practitioners come up against those initial challenges, they think, oh well, this just isn't for me. No, it's just that it's not easy.
Speaker 2:Right, right, yeah, they expect the path to be completely clear. And when I began my journey, I originally started I called the business Feather Sister Yoga, and then it completely evolved, and then it was adding Reiki and then other modalities start to come in. And then it completely evolved, and then it was adding Reiki and then other modalities start to come in, and then, you know, almost five years later, I've shifted it now to Feather Sister Wellness. So it certainly is not the same business that I intended to. So be open to you know, adjusting your sales and going in that direction, because you may be and I don't want to call them collecting modalities you get excited, you learn that modality. You may not be using it now, but it might be exactly what that future client needs.
Speaker 3:Yes, yeah, 1000% Tracy. You know, as our journey unfolds, our business can and does change. And that includes our business model, so what we offer, how we conduct our business, you know just all kinds of things can and do change as our business journey unfolds, so that's great advice.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's. I mean, just be open to it, and I had you know was encouraged five years ago. You have to create an LLC and now they've changed the law. With the LLC you have to follow up, report with that and that costs money. So you get like little wrenches thrown at you and so you have Reiki to use to help you navigate those challenges. But those experiences are really great teachers for you to learn and grow.
Speaker 3:Yes, tracy, for sure you know, I think, another great teacher for us on our Reiki business journey. I don't know about you, but it's technology. You know, technology, I think, is one of the biggest business challenges, and not just for an online business, but you know in person as well. You know how many times could you, you know, have something happen with your payment processor. You know your square chip reader, your card reader, or you know having challenges with Zoom or your computer or something else. You know the technological challenges, I think, are a big one and they happen to all of us and they happen all of the time, sure.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and I mean it was so fascinating with it and I consider a silver lining coming out of COVID that it rose up many of us to be online and for some that was a struggle to get online and you know, get in front and do lives and go on zoom, and so it's really changed how this industry has been. But it makes it accessible and it makes it uh, it takes the taboo out of it. So, like my children like, oh yeah, that person on person on TikTok, so you don't have to explain it, or do the Colleen always called it the elevator talk, the Reiki elevator talk as much now, because they know so and so on on TikTok, does it.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, it's true, it is becoming more mainstream. Yes, yes it is. Yes, it is.
Speaker 2:Good. So what books do you recommend?
Speaker 3:Yeah, thanks, tracy. Well, I have to recommend my book. I mean, I know I know the whole book, I wrote it and I'm I, you know. So I have to if I don't recommend my own book. That doesn't sound good, of course.
Speaker 2:Well, it's from the Standing Stones Healing Library.
Speaker 3:Yes, thank you. Yes, so I do recommend Reiki Business Ready. Of course, that's available on Amazon across all marketplaces on Amazon worldwide. I also recommend my colleague, mary Raposo, grow your Reiki Business, and I recommend this book as well. It's a great book, mary. Includes lots of great tactics and information and strategies for marketing your Reiki business, including and especially, if you are afraid of the marketing stuff which, let's admit it, it is a challenge for all of us, because that's part of the journey as well.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, it's a constant hustle with that Posting and remember to posting and making videos. Yeah, in our digital world, yes, yes. So what services do you offer? Do you offer classes, events, trainings?
Speaker 3:I, of course, do Reiki sessions. I offer card readings as well. So not only am I a Reiki practitioner, I'm also a card reader, and I was actually a card reader before I was a Reiki practitioner, so I started reading cards a couple of years before I became a Reiki practitioner. I offer courses. I became a Reiki practitioner. I offer courses. So lots of different kinds of classes Reiki business classes like Build your Reiki Business or the Distance Reiki Business Builder so lots of Reiki business offerings. I offer the Card Magic class Unlock your card magic so lots of courses that I teach. You know, as a background, as a teacher, I really enjoy creating and teaching courses. That's one thing I just love in my Reiki business, and I say one thing because I like, I like, love it all. But those are some things I offer as well. And now, of course, the Reiki Business Summit event online. I'm offering too, so I always have something going on and I'm always excited about what I'm offering. And the next thing as well. So thank you.
Speaker 2:Beautiful. So where can we find you if we want to get in touch with you?
Speaker 3:Yeah, great Thanks. Well, everyone is welcome to tune in to the build your Reiki business podcast and of course, you can get there from my website, standingstoneshealingcom, and you can tune into that. It's a weekly podcast. It's just me, it's solo, but you can tune in there. I'm happy to have you join me each week for all kinds of Reiki business topics. On that podcast I cover anything and everything about Reiki business and so definitely you can tune into the podcast.
Speaker 3:When you tune into the podcast, I'll also invite you to join us in the Reiki Business Collective Facebook group. So you can join us at facebookcom slash groups slash Reiki Biz. That is a group specifically for Reiki practitioners who are thinking of starting a Reiki business or who have one. It's a welcoming, encouraging group, so you're welcome to join us there at any point on your Reiki business journey and when you listen to the podcast. I'll also invite you to get, if you want, my free Reiki biz kit. It's full of Reiki business information and you can find that on my website as well at standingstoneshealingcom slash Reiki biz kit.
Speaker 2:Beautiful and that's how I found you. I found you with the Reiki business collective and several of my teachers were participating in your business summit, so that's how you got my attention. So wonderful yeah.
Speaker 3:Thank you, tracy, and it's great to have you in that collective. Thank you we have a wonderful group of practitioners. It's welcoming, it's encouraging, it's supportive and that's what we need. When I founded that group, it was really based on a need within our community, something that we didn't have, and I said we need a place. You know, there are so many Reiki groups but, there's nothing specifically for Reiki business. And this is something that our community needs and deserves. So we have it, and anyone is welcome to join us.
Speaker 2:Wonderful, and you do do time to time card readings on Facebook, right.
Speaker 3:I do. Yes, I do. Yep, I like to go live on or around the full moon and offer card readings, but when I'm not doing that, I have a monthly reading on my YouTube channel. So you can go to Standing Stones Healing my YouTube channel and you can find the monthly. Choose one of three card readings. So you pick number one, two or three and there is a card reading for the month.
Speaker 2:There's something for everyone, so wonderful. Well, that ends the first part of our journey, and I'm going to continue to guide you to the next part here of our journey, where there's three questions from listeners and from Reiki students. So let's begin. Number one tell me about the Reiki Business Collective. What is your goal for the collective?
Speaker 3:Yeah, great. Well, that's perfect, because we're just talking about the collective.
Speaker 2:Exactly.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I love it. So yes, the Reiki Business Collective is a free Facebook group and, like I mentioned, anyone on their Reiki journey is welcome to join. So let's say you're considering starting a Reiki business but you're just not sure you can join the Reiki Business Collective and learn, ask questions, just check out the group and watch what happens and just get an idea of being a Reiki business owner. And if you've been in Reiki business for years, you're welcome to join us as well, because we all need support on our journey, we all need community, we all need the support and encouragement of like-minded friends who understand what it's like to be a Reiki practitioner and to do this crazy things called starting a Reiki business Right right, well, thank you.
Speaker 2:Thank you for putting that all together. I mean, it's a wonderful support, just such a variety of connections that you can, you know, be brought to. So wonderful, I love that. Thank you. Number two you were inspired to create a podcast, so tell us about your podcast.
Speaker 3:Yeah, thanks, tracy. So the Build your Reiki Business podcast I started, gosh, we're coming up on episode number 100 now, and it's a weekly podcast, so every single week I publish a. It's about a 20 minute episode. Now we know from earlier in our conversation that sometimes I can be a little long winded, and so sometimes I go over the 20 minute Mark. As a matter of fact, I set the podcast episode at 20 minutes to help rein myself in. Otherwise I would just be talking on, blabbering on for an hour and everybody would be like what is this guy doing? I'm out, and so I set that 20-minute limit for me and I try to stick to it. I don't always do the best job, but there's always a lot to say, and so I will talk about all different kinds of Reiki business topics, anything from how to start a session or end a session to how to market yourself at fairs and festivals and expos, to defining your ideal client. To fill in the blank when it comes to Reiki business topics.
Speaker 2:Beautiful. I love it and the listeners. If you're listening, don't feel overwhelmed. So he has all the information. He's giving you a map for the journey here, so it's all good. Trust the process, right, yeah.
Speaker 3:If you feel overwhelmed. Yes, you're in the right place.
Speaker 2:There's guides everywhere. So know that it's a journey that you do not have to walk alone, that is for sure. The helpers are all along the way. So yes, because probably someone's listening, like I didn't even think like psychic fairs, and you know these events, you know to market yourself, yeah, and that can be a little overwhelming.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, oh yeah. I think that any part of the process can feel overwhelming, and the process as a whole is overwhelming. And when you're just starting out, the whole thing is so overwhelming that it can be paralyzing. How do I move forward? What's the next step that I take? What do I do? And trying to put all of the pieces together can just feel so challenging, and so that overwhelm feeling that feeling of overwhelm as we start a Reiki business is so normal. But you've got the assistance, the help all around you and we're here to help.
Speaker 2:Wonderful, wonderful. So tell us about your new book Reiki Business Ready. I love it.
Speaker 3:Yes, thank you. So, Tracy, one of the things that I like to do is, you know, I guess it's that teacher aspect of me, Maybe it's that long windedness, I don't know, but I like to take complex, kind of you know, those big ideas and break them down into small, actionable ways that you can really understand it. And so when we're thinking about starting a Reiki business, that might be like an overwhelming, like oh my gosh, is this something I can do? Is this possible? What does it take to start a Reiki business? Who do I need to be to start a Reiki business? And so I wrote Reiki business ready to really help make that kind of amorphous, ambiguous, nebulous kind of question concrete. And so I've broken it down into six ways to know that you are ready for a Reiki business. Now, of course, it's not the end-all, be-all of all of the ways to know, but it gives practitioners a starting point to really help them as they consider whether or not they want to start a Reiki business and whether or not they're ready to do it.
Speaker 2:Beautiful, beautiful. And where can we find that book again?
Speaker 3:Yeah, you can get it on Amazon. You can actually go to my website to learn more at standingstoneshealingcom. Slash ready and I have the links there for all of the different Amazon marketplaces around the world where it is available.
Speaker 2:All right, perfect, so we have the podcast. We have the book you're on YouTube. Perfect, so we have the podcast. We have the book you're on YouTube, facebook.
Speaker 3:Right, we got you covered. Yes, I'm on Instagram too, but I'll admit I'm not a big fan of Instagram. I don't spend a lot of time there. Sure, sure.
Speaker 2:Very good, All right. Well, that was our last question and as we were talking, is there anything else that you may have forgotten or you feel called to share? The floor is yours.
Speaker 3:Well, I just want to say thank you so much, tracy. It's been great to connect and chat and it's been an honor to have everyone tuning in, so I want to say thank you all so very much. Absolutely, you are welcome to tune into the podcast. Let me know what you think you know, drop me a note. If there's a particular topic that you want to see on the podcast, I'm happy to add it to the list and to offer it up in a podcast episode. Of course, join us in the Reiki Business Collective Facebook group. It is a welcoming and encouraging place and whether you're on Facebook or not, whether you like podcasts or not, you're welcome to grab the Reiki Biz Kit. It's free. It includes lots of Reiki business information and I threw some music into it as well, because I also play the Native American style flute, so I have some meditation and Reiki music in that Biz Kit as well.
Speaker 2:Beautiful, beautiful. And again, tell our listeners where you're located if they want to check you out in person.
Speaker 3:Oh, thanks In person. I'm hard to get a hold of in person. I do fairs, festivals and expos. I'm in central Pennsylvania. I do mobile Reiki, but I have a very limited number of clients that I take on for my mobile Reiki practice and it's within a very specific radius. But, yeah, you can reach out, Um, uh, and if you want to connect, I'm happy to connect. Um, so shoot me a message.
Speaker 2:Well, thank you, christian, it's been absolutely wonderful. Thank you for all the work that you're doing and bringing Reiki, getting that goal 10,000 plus plus plus right Wonderful.
