Episode #184 Healing In Motion With Dr. Emma Wagner
What if the strongest medicine is the moment you finally trust your body? Our conversation with Dr. Emma Wagner travels from a guardian angel’s nudge at age twelve to the grounded science of chiropractic and the subtle art of energy work. Emma shows how anatomy, mindset, and spirit can live in the same room, letting pain teach without letting it define you. Her story of emergency C‑section recovery reframes healing as surrender plus smart habits: anti-inflammatory nutrition, nervous system regulation, and consistent hands-on care.
We dig into a hot-button topic: can faith and energy work coexist? Emma’s approach is radically respectful—no dogma, no conversion, just clear boundaries and open channels so clients stay rooted in their beliefs while exploring their own energy. If the word Reiki triggers you, you’ll hear a compassionate reframe. We also unpack practical strategy: how to choose a practitioner, why weekly tune-ups beat crisis care, and how intention, touch, and alignment change an adjustment from mechanical to transformative. Along the way, we talk about journaling early insights so they don’t vanish, using intuition as a guidepost, and tailoring steps to the person in front of you rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Whether you’re searching for holistic pain relief, curious about chiropractic and energy medicine together, or ready to build a sustainable self-care rhythm, you’ll find grounded wisdom and actionable steps. If this conversation helps you see your body’s wisdom in a new light, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs encouragement, and leave a quick review to help others find Ready Set Reiki. Your feedback keeps this healing journey moving.

This is Ready Set Reiki, a podcast about Reiki and energy work, from the curious beginner to the seasoned master teacher, welcoming all systems, all lineages, and all levels. Reiki is a journey and not a destination. And on this Ready Set Reiki journey, I refer to myself as a guide rather than host, as I too am learning and supporting others on this Reiki journey as well. Now, with that said, I am your guide, Tracy C. Wright. Today joining me is Dr. Emma Wagner. Now, she is a distinguished power factor from San Clemente Vitality. Now, she has the essence of holistic health care. She has over two decades of experience alongside her husband and partner, Dr. Burton Wagner, and she passionately advocates for a healthy active lifestyle through an interactive blend of chiropractic care, energy medicine, functional medicine, and nutritional coaching. Now, Dr. Emma's unique approach transcends conventional boundaries, harmonizing the physical and emotional aspects of well-being. Her dedication not only guides individuals in tapping into their healing power, but also fosters a deep sense of connection and vitality, making a true visionary and enhancing the quality of her patients. Welcome, Dr. Emma, to Ready Set Reiki. Well, thank you for having me today, Tracy. I'm really excited about talking about energy work with you today. Wonderful. So let's begin our journey together. So tell us a little bit about yourself.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, there's so much to say. Um, I started when I was 12 years old. My journey started when I was 12 year old. Um, I when I met Max, my spiritual guardian angel. And this meeting with him just launched my life into such a journey that I decided to listen to him, to follow him, and to trust his guidance. And so at 16, I started doing learning about the power of the mind, about how we can put ourselves in meditative states, how we can use that power to create and manifest the white the life we want. When I was 18, I started doing energy work. When I was 21, I started my journey as a doctor of chiropractic, going to chiropractic school. At 26, I graded chiropractic school, and when you graduate chiropractic school, you still have to do continued education credit. So you still have to be learning. Like you said, I like what you say about being on a journey because I feel like this has been my whole life. It's like I'm still learning today. Today I decided to really retransform my life. Um, we sold our wellness center in Saint Clemente, and we're going to become traveling healers. So we're it's interesting when you start stepping into that journey of energy healing, how how things happen in a certain way, and how you feel that guidance into your life, and how the people you meet have all something to bring to that experience. It's it's fabulous.
SPEAKER_00:And it's wonderful, isn't it? Because this is why it's a journey, right? And you can meet guides and helpers on the way. And I'm sure you never imagined at 12 years old you would be doing what you're doing today.
SPEAKER_01:Even at 21, I never really thought about it like this. I I got started really to take care of myself because I was a little bit of a weird young adult, um, a bit autistic. I had I was dyslexia, sick. The world didn't make a lot of sense. Humans around me didn't make a lot of sense. I wanted to find my own happiness, my own vitality, my own sense of I am what I am, and I'm happy to be what I am. So I started this journey really for myself to find my way, and in that way, I find a way to help people find their own journey, help them along the way, facilitate that journey that's amazing for all each one of us.
SPEAKER_00:Beautiful, beautiful. I love that. So would you say this energy work found you, or did you find it?
SPEAKER_01:I definitely think it found me. In France, we have um a cartoon, like a yeah, like a drawing cartoon, which talk about this boy that fell into the magic potion, so he gets to be strong all his life. And for me, it's a bit like this. I I fell into it when I was a young. Yes. And and now it's like I don't even know what it feels like not to be into it anymore. And when I see people that don't have a guide, that are just starting their journey, sometimes I have to remind myself that no, it's not that easy to get started. And and when you're on the path, the path do make sense. But at first, we have to fight a lot with the cultural existence, the education that you might have received. Like having an imaginary friend is was normal for me. My parents were encouraging it. I don't think a lot of families encourage having an imaginary kid and having their kids speak to that imaginary friend for hours at a time.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah. And that makes an interesting point. Like when I was a child, I had the imaginary friends and things. And it wasn't until I started telling the stories to my children that they're like, mom, like, you know, I think you were this. And it at the time I thought it was a normal thing, right? Oh, yeah, I just had this and this happened and that happened. But as an adult, when you start thinking backwards, it all starts making sense when you start learning about the energy work. You're like, oh, I've been doing this the whole time. Now I have a name, right?
SPEAKER_01:Yes, exactly. And and then you can connect the dots. But at first, when when you're just starting, you don't recognize that you're guided into it. That there's then there's supports and that once when it's easy, it's really that guidance. When the path gets to be harder, it's because you're pushing against something that doesn't need to be. So it's it's very interesting. So I've been on this journey for over 20, 30 years, 35 years. Um, as a chiropractor for the last 25, the chiropractic gave me a frame in order to which I can help people, but it also gave me more understanding about myself, how how my body works. So it's really helped me bridge that gap between what is considered normal in this reality and what is existing in the world we live in and how to tap. I call it a lot of magic, how to tap into the magic of the world.
SPEAKER_00:Right, right. And that's why I love the uh chiropractors because they've always been open to like Reiki. So it wasn't abnormal to go to the chiropractor and they have maybe a Reiki practitioner there or an energy worker there to offer services if that client needed it and was open to it. Versus whether if he went to um, you know, a general practitioner, he may not be as open to it. So when I went to my primary caregiver, that wasn't even considered an option. But when I went to my chiropractor, they're like, hey, maybe you should try this. I'm like, oh well.
SPEAKER_01:So I find it interesting enough in my chiropractic practice to really understand that as a body worker, had that ability to move energy within people. And by allowing that energy to move, I would get people to relax more easily. I would get people more ready to get a chiropractic adjustment. I would get people to get more in tune with themselves so that they could make the best decision for them as they kept going. So for me, it was important that not I hired somebody else to do the work, that I was the one doing the work.
SPEAKER_00:Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01:Because it's part of it, and I'm really good at integrating different pieces of the puzzle. So when I look at somebody, I'm looking at yes, the energy system, and I'm making sure that the energy flows, but I'm also looking at organ function and making sure that organ are doing the job they're supposed to be doing. I'm looking at posture and alignment like a normal chiropractor would, but also I'm looking at the power of the mind like a coach would, making sure that your thoughts, your emotions are not what is stuck and get in your way of being the great person you need to be. Wonderful.
SPEAKER_00:So you add a little bit of intuitiveness, but then add in all the other flavors as well, right?
SPEAKER_01:And for me, that's what the holistic mindset is. And I think that's where I see the world, and especially medicine, is losing it. It's because they're bringing everything to small, smaller and smaller parts. You have the heart expert, the lung expert, the digestion experts. And in that digestion expert, you have the guy that knows all about the gallbladder and the guy that knows all about the liver. But it's missing more and more, I feel, the the whole approach. It's like, what is missing and how this liver connects to your emotions? And how does you connect to that emotion? And how can you bring some of your own energy into that liver so that you can start feeling better?
SPEAKER_00:Beautiful. Chiropractor for 20 years. How are the misconceptions with energy work? What is a common misconception you're finding as you're out talking to individuals speaking on energy work?
SPEAKER_01:I think my biggest struggle with this is the religious aspect. A lot of people think that energy work means that I'm going to bring in my belief on like, am I a Christian, I am a Buddhist, am I a Jew, am I a Muslim? And all those pieces are how is that going to affect the person I'm seeing religion? My my God is too big to fit into one religion. I'm I'm more into that mindset of coexists. And I like how the different religions found their prophet to to bring them closer to that spiritual reality, spiritual God. I'm not here to to change anybody's belief around religion. Um I'm not attached to any of them, but I'm not I'm not here to to change your thoughts. I remember working with my mother-in-law, which is a a Christian, and and one day I'm checking her and I'm like, hmm, so and I'm like, your your spirituality is is down, your energy toward the spiritual is down. Did you get mad at God or something? And she's like, it's funny you're asking me that because yes, I've been mad at God. I've not been able to pray in the last month or a few days, or I forgot exactly how long she had been struggling with that. And I'm like, let's talk about this and let's get you back in good terms with God, with your God. You don't have to be, it's not about mine. So that's the the biggest struggle I have is people think like I might throw at them some bad energy. That's not my role. My role is to open energy channels to help people have that energy flow so that they have a direct pathways from the divine inside all the way grounded so that they can bring that divine aspect of themselves into the reality. People are afraid of that. Do you see that happening in your in your practice too?
SPEAKER_00:I certainly do. Uh, just the word like Reiki triggers people. They have it where they think it's uh a dogma attached to it, a type of religion. Uh, what really kind of gets me a little bit that's uh working on my inner self is the automatic assumption that, you know, uh it's the devil's work and you're not Christian. And I was raised in the church. My mother would color herself a Christian, you know, read my Bible, pray, have a relationship, you know, with God. And they come at you like you're doing some evil thing without getting a moment to talk to you about it. And I had someone recently reach out and say that he was a former shaman, former Reiki master. This is not good. Repent, and I had explained backs or, you know, I do uh believe in God, Jesus, et cetera. And that in my word wasn't good enough. It was still like, you have no idea what I do during a session or how I collaborate with a client. Um and so yeah, there's that misconception still. Uh the lineage of Reiki that I come from comes from 1922 with uh Dr. Azui. And it still has that misconception about it. I mean, even my own, you know, mother, I do yoga, she doesn't approve of it, sound bulls, she doesn't approve of it. You know, she's very tethered to this is the way that it is the word of God, and that is not of the word of God. And even in my practice of yoga, you know, I bring in prayer, you know, that's time for me to connect deeper with God. But she looks at it as, well, you know, the the and if she's correct, and the history of it does come from Hindu. Um, but I kind of change it a little bit. I even got certified in Christian yoga, you know, and she's like, Well, I don't understand just saying some Bible verses, you know, makes it makes it that way. So, yes, I I do completely know what you're saying.
SPEAKER_01:Um so the way I explain that struggle to some people that might be Christian is that I'm only going to go as far as you will let me go. So if you want me to respect your religious belief, and you just have to tell me that we're not going as far as the soul. Maybe we just work on the physical body, maybe we just stop at the emotional level, maybe we go look at the mind and see if there is some PTSD, some mindset blocks. Religious religion can be a mindset block, and where uh you might because you think that what we do is evil, you might not be have access to the beautifulness of what it is to experience that energy flow within you. And I believe that Jesus was one of the biggest healers that there is there's a gift for sure. Um, but I think everybody has access to some healing capacities, especially if it's we're talking about healing yourself.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I mean, that was what he did hands-on, right? And with his disciples. Yeah, it's just kind of interesting instead of taking a moment to go a little deeper beyond just just the word uh and to do that. So yeah. So you have helped many people through their struggles, their challenges. But what has been the biggest challenge or struggle you faced in your own healing journey?
SPEAKER_01:I think it started when um after I was uh after I gave birth to my first child, I had a pretty, pretty easy uh pregnancy, but the the the delivery was pretty hard. And as I had imagined it at home with a midwife, easy, no worries, with my husband, chiropractor around that would help me, everything would go fine. And um, it didn't. And I had to be taken in an emergency to the hospital, and I had my baby with a C-section, an emergency C-section. Um, that was 23 years ago, and for three, four years at the point of where they inserted the needle, I had pain. And that pain would wake me up every morning and would kick me out of bed because I couldn't stay in bed because of that pain. And um at 5 a.m., very often I would be up the first one at home, and so tired because when you're a young mom, you don't sleep well. Right, been there, and and and and just not not the inability to rest. So dealing with pain was probably what was the hardest part in me. And being a chiropractor, having back pain, I should have had find an easy solution for this back pain.
SPEAKER_02:Sure.
SPEAKER_01:There was no easy solution. My body didn't need to heal, I needed to surrender to it, I needed to understand that I had to get up for a good reason. I had to learn how to rest my body in a different ways to take a nap. I had to really look into the food that I can put in my system because there is a lot of food that are inflammatory. So it was a um a gift in disguise where that pain taught me so much about myself, yeah, about what I needed to do, about my body, about what it needed to work properly, and it helped me even help more people after that. Sure, but I think I'm not good with pain. I'm a bit of a wimp, and my husband said it often I have a very, very low pain tolerance. Tolerance, yeah, yeah. As soon as it started being painful, I have fear around the pain.
SPEAKER_00:Sure, sure. And and it wasn't the birth plan you wanted, right? I mean, not what I wanted. It's not what you wanted. And my um, I've had four c-sections, and uh the first one, my daughter, was what was called Frank Breach. So the little head was you know right under the ribs there, and that was a planned C-section, and still it's a whirlwind, right? And six weeks to rest, and um, you might be like me constantly going and have to just pause like that and be still and you can't drive. And I'm like, oh my goodness, when you are being okay with being dependent with others.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, yeah, and you're asking for help, asking about your needs. And yeah, in in our society, women are not we're made to be the caregivers. We're not made to ask for help. We should be knowing everything we need to do. So, and I'm a very strong woman, I'm very I'm a type A. I want to be able to do everything a man can do.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Here's a funny, here's a well, I don't know if it's a funny story, but uh, you know, my first daughter, I had her at age of 24. And I had this d-section, and they have you lay in bed, you know, and the next day, and the uh aides come in to help you and say, we're gonna take you to the shower. And I was so embarrassed, like, no, no, I'll do it myself. And they're like, You're sure. I'm like, yeah, because I just didn't, it was just embarrassing to me, you know, having realize that your your legs cannot carry you anymore. Yeah, yeah. And so I'm like, okay, so I they leave, they're like, you sure? I'm like, I got it. And so, you know, I have my soap in the hands, I get up and oh my goodness, it was something. I'm like, I probably should ask for help. And then I'm walking to the shower, get to the shower, turn on the water, I start with the soap, and guess what? I drop the soap and I can't bend down to go get the soap. And I'm like, okay, I can't move. But that was the mindset then. Like, I can do it myself. No, I'm gonna do this. And I'm like, yeah, I can't do this by myself.
SPEAKER_01:I I think we came for we come from a generation of women that what we're told you're strong, you're stronger than any man. You're as strong as any man. You can do everything you want, and you can do it better if you do it yourself. Yeah, yeah. And and for me, there was a lot of that, and and unlearning this was very important for me. Now I lean on my husband, and I think it's so powerful to be able to trust and to lean on some and on another human being. I do that with my kids now too, and they're 20 and 23, and they're great because I can lean on them, and I I don't I'm not afraid to ask them for support.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, yeah, yeah. And when my kids, when I call them and ask them, it's usually tech stuff, and they get on me, and I'm like, listen, I taught you how to use a spoon. Back off, you know. That's what helped me here. So, what do you wish your younger self knew about energy work?
SPEAKER_01:I I started so young at 12. I wish my 12-year-old self would have been sport enough to to write down to journal those those times where I got all those teaching, intuitive teaching. Um I'm I'm writing a book right now about this time of my life and and trying to go back to those teaching. And what did they say about the clouds? What did they say about the winds? What did they say about the rain? Beautiful being in the ocean and feeling the energy of the ocean and recognizing all those energy. And I wish I had been better about journaling it. So if you're a young person and you're just starting your journey and you're just starting to get inside, take the time to write it down because I think that's very, very powerful. Because once you start incorporating incorporating those teachings into you and they become part of you, it's so natural and so normal that you don't question it anymore. I would have liked to read again my questions, to read again how how we got integrated inside of me.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Yeah. It's so fascinating. Um, I was helping a friend put together a website, and uh she had a website from that I had many, many years ago. So I went in and I was looking, hmm, what did 2012 Tracy? What was she thinking? Right. So it just gives you an idea of it's great to write these things down to look back because you forget things that happened. And like I completely forgot I even had an account with this. Like, when did when did I do this? So you can forget these little milestones and things that happened.
SPEAKER_01:And I think too, it's like we're always attracted with the new shiny object. So when I learned about the power of the mind, I was really into the power of the mind, and I was really doing a lot of meditation, and I was really intentional in putting myself into meditation and what I was asking in my meditation. And then something happened where or and I knew I before that I had a lot of rituals, and I remember like lighting a candle for having a good test, and and I know I was sending energy, and I know how the energy works, I still see how the energy works, but there's like pieces of those puzzles that are missing. And now I'm the way I work with energy is is more fluid. It's it's easier because I've done it so many times that I don't have to think about all the steps. But when I was learning, there were steps to learn. So yeah, what I what I would like is to to look back at my notes on all the the steps it took to be what I am today.
SPEAKER_00:That's the doctor in you. I am science-based, I love my science. And that's the same thing. You know, my background's teaching, so I was teaching elementary school. So writing those things down, planning, right? All those things. Yeah, very good. So when it's time for you to get an energetic tune-up, what are some qualities that you look for? And this can be something in a fellow chiropractor or someone who's in the field of holistic medicine. What do you look for? What qualities?
SPEAKER_01:So I have to say that I'm very, very lucky because I have my husband and we've been together for 25 years. And over the 25 years, we evolve together, we grow together, we learn together. We generally we rarely go to a seminar without each other. And at those seminars, we hear things that the other don't, and we learn things that the other don't. So working on each other helps us practice and helps us a ton refine the work we do. And especially when you talk about energy flow, there is pressure, there is depth, there is line of drive, there is your own energy field. What do you think when you're working on someone? Where is your heart at? And so all this comes into account when you're being touched. So the fact that I have that chance to be to have my husband and to be able to be telling him, like I remember the other day we had kind of a fight, and we were working on some media stuff, some social media stuff, and and we were not really happy, it was not working the way we wanted, so we got a little bit annoyed at each other, and it happened to be Tuesday, and Tuesday is the day we work on each other, and so after doing this social media work, I'm like, okay, I need you to work on me because I need to open myself up, I feel the stress in my system, I need to help releasing it. And um, I had him so annoyed that it started touching me, and I was like, You're so annoyed, you need to take 10 minutes. Um I cannot even have you like touching me right now. Yeah, it's just not possible. Yes. When I work with somebody I don't know, I try to to keep myself in control, being like, You're in you're you know how to work your own energy. Take in the stimulation, do the best you can with what stimulation you're getting. Um, I have some body workers that are very much more in the spiritual realm and they barely touch you when they work on you. I don't like it as much. I like to be integrated into my physical body. So it's after 25 years, I know what I like and what I don't like. Right, right. Um, so it's easier to find practitioner. I'm going to see somebody I've never seen next this Thursday. I'm curious. And I come in with that curiosity mindset where maybe I'm going to learn something new, maybe he's going to do something to me that I have no idea. And if it doesn't do anything new, if it doesn't do anything amazing, I know my body will take that love, that energy, that care, and do the best it can with it. Wonderful.
SPEAKER_00:And I love you've been in this profession this long and married for you know 25 years, and you're still taking like a Tuesday, like that's your day, Tuesday to schedule it to work on each other. So that's you have to have a day where you work on each other. If you really know, yeah. And that's one of the things as myself as an energy worker and you know, working on others so much that I have to remind myself I need to have an energetic tune-up as well, right?
SPEAKER_01:For me, if I don't get worked once a week on myself, I can keep on going for two weeks. Okay. But if it's once a week, my energy stays high, I feel good all the time, I sleep well, I'm dedicated to myself, to my own vitality, I stay on top of everything. If I wait a couple weeks, I feel my energy going more to a neutral state where I can push and I can force myself to do what is right for me. But if on a more neutral, I'm going to be lazy. I'm going to not want to push as hard. I'm not going to take the extra step. I'm not going to do the extra stuff that I know will make a difference in my life. If I wait for over three weeks, I start seeing my energy go down. And and I'm not sick right away. It's not like that. It doesn't happen. I mean, but I start feeling some aches. I start noticing that the world doesn't help me as much. I'm see, I'm not picking up on the clues on reading the world the way I need to read the world. So it it creates a difference enough that I don't like it. So I rarely go three weeks without any work. And if I can every week, I would definitely sign up for every week. When the kids were younger, sometimes we we space it out a little bit longer because it's hard to be a parent. Right, right, right. But and find the time for yourself. But yes, for me, the time I put on myself is more important than anything else, so that I can stay on top of my game so I can be present, I can be vindicated, that can be present with everyone that comes in.
SPEAKER_00:Wonderful. So you had touched a little bit on advice regarding the journal. What advice would you give someone who's just entering this um you know energy work?
SPEAKER_01:For me, what changed my life was meeting my spiritual guardian angel. If somebody is just starting and they haven't spent the time to talk to their guardian angel, to hear that guidance, to feel that guidance and know what it feels like, I would 100% suggest that you spend some time listening in and paying attention to what is your guide, what are they, talk to them, learn about them, and start have your own guide so that you can measure what's good for you and not what's not so good for you. And then I feel like it's a finger you put into a hole, and then the more your arms get swallowed, then your whole body, your whole being gets swallowed into it. There's many, many ways to the many paths into the journey. There's no wrong path, and every step will be a learning step. Beautiful.
SPEAKER_00:So, what books do you recommend?
SPEAKER_01:That's a very good question. Um I love Wayne Dyer. I change your thoughts, change your mind. Um I'm I'm thinking about one in French that's uh Michel Odoul, um, that says, Tell me where you have pain, I will tell you um what's going on. Your body talks to you. Yeah, uh Louise A have a really good book about that. Your body is your guide. Learn how listen to you, see what your body needs. This is going to be your guide forward. Right. So are the books? I'm not sure. I'm I've been putting so many books away because of unpacking and moving everything out. There's so many books that change my life. Right. But it's hard to recommend one when when everybody is in a different step in their process. Yes, yes. Oh yeah. And and and the right book for you is the one that's going to call your name when you're going to walk into that. Yeah. It's one that you're going to see no matter what. Um, our attention is so, our brain is so busy with so many things that the one thing that's important to you, you will see exactly what you need to see. Beautiful.
SPEAKER_00:So, what services do you offer and where can we find you?
SPEAKER_01:So right now you can find me around the world. I'm a traveling healer. Um, so you can follow me on dremawagner.com or two in our money. This is our our our new project with my husband. We're going to be leaving on the 17th of February, so it's coming very fast. Wow. Um, we offer uh remote work, so helping people connect to that vitality, find the energy within themselves, to connect within themselves, to understand where they might have emotional, they might have mind, they might have physical issues that need to be addressed, that needs to be like figuring out where what's wrong with you. And I think that's where I'm really good at. I can figure out what's wrong with you. So if you're so that's something we can do remote. Um, besides that, yeah, my goal is to create a retreat center. So I'm going to go travel the world to find a little spot, a little corner of paradise. Wonderful, wonderful. Do you have a website where social media? So my website, Dr. Emma Wagner, always work, and twoinharmony.com. So two in harmony is more about the journey. Uh, Dr. Emma Wagner is a like what you said, a bit older, it has 10 years old. I don't go there all the time, but I like, I think it's still current enough.
SPEAKER_00:Beautiful. Well, that ends the first part of our journey, and I'm gonna guide you right into the next part, which are questions from social media and from listeners. So here we go. Number one, how are you bridging the gap between the fields of holistic medicine and the chiropractic disciplines?
SPEAKER_01:So I really think there's no gap to be bridged between chiropractic and holistic medicine. Chiropractic is holistic to start with. It's one of the top medicine in the world. I think it's number three in terms of practitioner, number one manual medicine in the world, and yet is 100% holistic. It's going to look at how the body can heal itself, how to tap into the magic of the physical body, to stimulate that physical body, the brain, the nervous system, to get more alignment into the system, looks into the emotions that can be stored into the body, to release those emotions, look at the mindset. So for me, yeah, chiropractic is definitely the bridge between medicine and holistic practices. Beautiful.
SPEAKER_00:So you wrote a book. What inspired you to write the book?
SPEAKER_01:Oh, I think it's Max, my guardian angel. I think I was hearing him say all the time, you have to write, you have to write, you have to write. And one day I started writing, and I was not happy with it. It was it's it's hard to process, especially when you're French. So I'm French and I wanted to write a book in English, of course, because I lived in England in America at that time. And so I wanted to write about to help my patients understand how to create more vitality in their life. And so I started writing, and I gave that book to a friend of mine, a patient that wrote a couple books herself, and she's like, You're not writing the right book, honey. And a light went up in my in my brain and went blink. And at that point, I knew what book I was writing and what book I needed to write. And I I shifted my gear and it started making sense. But yes, it's something I think when you write a book, it's a you write a book because you're you're driven by it.
SPEAKER_00:All right, very good. And where can we find that book if we wanted to purchase it?
SPEAKER_01:You can purchase it on Amazon. Um, it's called Shattering Habits, Seven Principles to Reprogram the Body and the Mind. And it's really a simple 50-page book to help you understand how habit creation is really about your own mindset and how you can create a better life for yourself if you look into what you're doing.
SPEAKER_00:Beautiful, beautiful. So the third question: how can you connect a client, the best version of yourself, through seven steps?
SPEAKER_01:I read that question and I'm like, hmm, this is an interesting question. I'm not sure where to go with this. Um, I really believe everybody is different, and everybody already have made progress on their journey. And if I was to tell you, you have to meet your guardian angel, that was my first step. You might have been like, oh, that was three steps back for me. And you don't need to do that. And it so for me it's really looking at where are you at? What what what is it that you want to create more of in your life? And what blocks do you have? And if the blocks are emotional, let's work on the emotional. If the works are on trauma, let's work on the trauma. If the work if it's the physical body that have a limitation, we were talking today to uh a bank agent, and she was mentioning that she had more toxicity in her house and got really sick and have no energy, and she's working with an integrative practitioner that wants her to detox, great, but sometimes the body doesn't even have the energy to detox. So it's really figuring out where are you at? Don't think the steps that work for somebody else will work for you, and that's where I like having a guide and your own guide that will help you with figuring out where steps do you really need to take on where you are at in life. Because when you have kids, kids are really good teachers, they they teach you a lot of things, but you need to be open-minded to receive their teaching because as a parent, you might think that you're there to teach them and not the contrary. Wonderful.
SPEAKER_00:Well, that was our last question. Seven steps, I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_02:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:Well, that was our last question. And as we've been talking, is there something that you may have forgotten or something you would like to share with the listeners? The floor is yours.
SPEAKER_01:Oh I really like how our body likes to heal itself. And if I can pass on to Something is that trust yourself, trust your own system, and start giving yourself what your your system needs. Once we're in tune with who we are, we can be in tune with our environment. When we're in tune with our environment, the environment works with us to create to sustain us in life so that we can have the best life we deserve. And so for me, it's just allowing yourself. So if you need some help, I'm happy to help in remote sessions, dremawagner.com, to help you connect to that to that part of you that wants greatness. Because all part of us wants greatness. And there's no way that I see everybody can have it. It's just giving your time yourself space for it. Very good.
SPEAKER_00:All right. Well, thank you so much. That ends our journey together. I appreciate you taking time out of your very busy schedule. And it sounds like you have some exciting, a very exciting journey ahead of you still. Yes, definitely. Thank you so much for having me, Tracy. It was a pleasure talking to you today. Wonderful.
