SPEAKER_01

Do you know what a$10 bet on Aaron Rye would have paid? I bet you'll tell us.

SPEAKER_02

All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another best ball roundtable. Here we are at the conclusion of the PGA Championship, where an unlikely Aaron Rye, I'd say unlikely, none of us picked him, which doesn't mean anything. But uh Aaron Rye goes out and shoots a 65 today to win the PGA championship. So uh yeah, it was uh it was quite a day. I do but before we jump into all things PGA, pretty cool side note. Uh here in Columbia, South Carolina, they were hosting a Corn Ferry event uh for the first time, the Colonial Life Charity Classic. We had had Chris Baker, the uh he's a former uh PGA pro, but he's the tournament director, had him on our show got a few months back to talk about this event. It just it was amazing. Weather was great, got a little toasty today, but it was it was awesome. And congrats to Cole Sherwood, who shot 16 under. He birdied 17. Zach Blair had a great round today, shot six under. Uh, but Cole Sherwood birdied six uh seventeen and then made par on 18 to win by one. So congrats to Cole, congrats to Chris, everybody involved with the Colonial Life Charity Classic. It was really cool, but that's not what we're here to talk about unless you guys have a bunch of commentary on the Corn Fury event that I don't know about.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, I do I do like how you said Aaron Rye, which no one thought would happen, but you also used the word conclusion, and it's literally still on. This is how anticlimactic it is. They're wrapping up.

SPEAKER_01

My wife, I was like, all right, I'm gonna start recording. And she was like, still on. I was like, they're etching his name on the trophy. It's other words.

SPEAKER_00

Literally were etching his name on the trophy.

SPEAKER_02

I know that's what I said. Like, what if Alec, what if Smalley like happened to dunk that number 17, make a make an ace and then birdie the next one? That oh gosh, how awesome would it be?

SPEAKER_01

Would he have been tied then? Or one no if he'd been ace would have been birdie.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that would have tied it. But hey, like then you're like the the lady etching the thing, she would have had to somehow scratch that thing out if uh if for some reason Smalley or whoever could have could have won the thing.

SPEAKER_00

Just lines through the name.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like what a story though. Like, hey, look at the PGA championship driver. Remember that time they put Aaron Rye's name and somebody just had a ridiculous last two holes, but it feels like that would be the most PGA thing to ever happen, right?

SPEAKER_00

Like curse would have fodder for for years.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so I kind of wanted you know what you know how we had like Garrett Kiggo, we had like a countdown to his T Time the other day. I wanted just like uh Justin Thomas on PJ watch, like when did he fire up his jet today? Like what time was he like, okay, I'm I'm I'm out, fire this thing up, let's go home. Like because for a minute there, and like he said with uh Amanda Ballionis, he's like, I'm praying for wind. And if we had gotten any of the wind we had gotten Thursday or Friday, it could have gotten gnarly this afternoon.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Well, a lot of players, the way they're hitting their drives, it it was like wind was out there because besides rye, like not many people were hitting fairways.

SPEAKER_00

No. Well, I saw a stat. You know, you talk about what what what did the course require people and things like that. I saw a stat yesterday. It was either the second or third round, there were uh 170 some odd three putts, and there were a total of 240 at the the entire master. 140. 140. Oh, that's right. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So like you might have seen that on the off the deck Instagram. That's where that's where that was shared. Is that where I saw it? Probably.

SPEAKER_00

We'll we'll give that, we'll give it credit if that's the case. But you think about because I mean Scotty, what was it after Friday or Saturday talking about like the pen? He's literally looking at everyone else, going, guys, is the pen. Am I am I out of my mind? But are the pin locations this bad? And that was my first thought on Thursday and Friday when we were sort of chatting about like how's the tournament look so far? And I thought the entire story of the weekend, the week was the greens, just so many different places and spaces. And clearly someone took offense to the fact that uh that no one likes it or pays attention to the PGA because they put pin locations in spots that were just I loved it outrageous. I I loved it simply because we talk about all the time we want to see tour players have to make the shots, right? Uh there were a couple putts I saw today where you know it's fun with all the graphics and everything, and they're like, well, this guy has a 7% chance to make this birdie. They still are better than all of us. So they roll it within a foot or two to tap in par and those types of things. But if you really want to make a move, if you really want to do you can't get in the rough, they I thought they did a good job with at least the second cut where it was thick enough to cause problems. And the greens were so difficult that you had to be within probably five to eight feet. I haven't looked at like the miss and makes and stuff like that, but it'd be interesting to look at how close they were whenever they made their birdies. Because if it felt like if you were five feet away, it was a hold your breath moment on whether or not that ball was gonna even come close. And there are a number of times I was watching where like they'd start the putt and you immediately go, Nope, that's not gonna make it, or that's not gonna be it.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah. I did Max Homo was on uh the no-laying up uh, I think after he missed the cut, and he made the comment like if the wind wasn't blowing, like he thought Scotty would have won by a seven or eight, I think what he said. Like he said, only Scotty has the ability to control uh his irons, wedges, everything else so well based on where they were putting things. But the wind picked up for a few days and you know it kind of uh leveled the playing field a little bit. But let me throw out some stats. One thing we shouldn't be surprised for Ann Rye, his driving accuracy this year, he's fifth on tour. So he's hitting almost 70% of his uh of the fairways. So in a place like Eronomic, like that's gonna be a huge advantage because he's gonna keep it in the fairway and out of like what Jonathan was saying, that rough there. Um a couple of stats from Elias Sports Bureau, uh, I think will be fun to throw out there. Aaron Rye is the first champion of the PGA uh championship to lower uh ever to lower his score in each round. He went 70, 69, 67, 65. So the first one ever to do that. That's cool. Yeah. Yeah. Um first one to ever win with two gloves.

SPEAKER_00

Oh I was gonna say if I got five gloves.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, well, there might have been there might have been more. We just don't know about it. Uh each of the last 10 BGA championships were won by Americans. That was first time. Uh somebody besides an American the last time. Uh a non-American won with Jason Day in 2015 at Whistling Straits. Uh last European to win was Rory at Valhalla in 2014.

SPEAKER_01

Um what is what is Aaron Rye's nationality? European.

SPEAKER_02

England. Oh. England. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I and the question I'll ask I was gonna ask later later, maybe is like, are we starting to think Aaron Rye for a Ryder Cup? Can he break into the to the dominant force that is the European Ryder Cup team?

SPEAKER_01

Well, how many points did he just get by winning this? I mean, win winning a major almost doesn't necessarily lock you in, but it's close. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Ooh, how about this stat? In the first uh in the era of four current major championships since 1934, there has never been an instance of the first two majors of the season being won by Europeans. First time.

SPEAKER_01

That's wild.

SPEAKER_02

That's crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Do you know what a$10 bet on Aaron Rye would have paid? You'll tell us.

SPEAKER_00

Let me guess. Hold on. Hold on. A ten dollar bet to win. He had to have been like plus twenty-two thousand or something like that.

SPEAKER_01

Now you're close. It was 17,500. Right. So$10 would have paid$1,750.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, stupid state. I would have gambled on him.

SPEAKER_01

Like in the largest field in golf. With I mean, I hadn't had a chance to look it up, but I w I was curious, like, what were his odds compared to Michael Block? That's funny.

SPEAKER_00

That's interesting. The problem you have is like if you were trying to couple your bets, if you bet 10 bucks on everybody, right, then you're at 1,550 bucks. And the only way that wins is if you have like the long shot, like in this case. Right. Because the other names, we were, you know, chat Robbie was like, who do you want to win? And I was like, I just want six people to be in a playoff. Like I just wanted to watch.

SPEAKER_02

Three-hole aggregate playoffs. I mean, it would have been like Sweeton's Cove with Decker and the boys, right? It would have been it'd have been like, all right, we're going out with an eight sum here.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Because how many times would you have to go through that before you finally got to just one winner? Because you'd have to go do a three-hole aggregate, and then there would be you know one or two guys more than likely out of that that would still be tied. They'd have to go back to the city.

SPEAKER_02

You'd probably go sudden death after that. You'd probably get a sudden death after that. Yeah. So if you had, let's say, your six guys that you wanted and three of them tied, it'd probably be a sudden death from there.

SPEAKER_00

It would have been must see TV, and we would have been doing this much later in the evening.

SPEAKER_02

I've been doing it tomorrow.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

So I was very skeptical. I was very skeptical of eronomic leading up to this tournament. And the place showed out. Like it was awesome. Uh we kind of already touched on it, but like seeing these guys be humans and somewhat relatable because of the putting, uh, it wasn't a hard golf. I mean, if you put it in the fairway and had a wedge in your hand, that's the test began once you got on the putting surface. And that was a lot of fun to watch. But the place was fantastic. I mean, I I I don't know what their plans are for future events, um, if they're gonna host other tour events or signature events or what that even looks like. I'm sure they're already on the PGA calendar for a decade and a half from now um for for another PGA championship, like we touched on in the preview episode. But I thought it was great. Um of course, Philly Sports fans kind of had their way with Rory today a couple times and saw him get pretty ticked off. I hate that.

SPEAKER_02

Um, and that's just like I sat there thinking, like, I what what kind of qualifications, like you know, you get your metal detector, you can't bring dumb stuff into a thing, but like there needs to be a moron test of like you walk through and like, hey, what are you gonna say when somebody hits a t-shot? And if you say Baba Booy, I'm sorry, you can't make it, you can't come in. If somebody's gonna yell at a player for missing a shot, nope, you're out of here. Like, yeah, there's gotta be some moron test, and just don't let those people in.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Again, maybe that's a thing you take your cell ph take the cell phones away.

SPEAKER_01

I think that I think that solves a lot of problems.

SPEAKER_00

It's a reminder of the difference at the masters, right? Uh, I was sitting at number four at a practice. No, it was last year, I was at number four, and it's a par three. It's the one place you think someone could or maybe should yell, get in the hole, right? And one of the Richmond County police officers, he's like, This has been my hole for 17 years. And some kid yelled, get in the hole. He goes, Not in my hole. And he went right over to him and was like, if you guys say another word like that, we're pulling you, we're yanking your credentials and you're getting kicked out. That's awesome. And so, right, and I mean, this wasn't this wasn't a master's person, this wasn't a volunteer, this was literally a police officer. And he's like, I've been at this hole for 17 years now, and this is not the way we treat this course. And so, like, you kind of wonder, I you know, it's hard to say. Like, could you translate that everywhere? I think I think golf course, I think sporting events in general would probably be better served if there were no cell phones. It would create a whole new atmosphere, and and it would, and you could just sort of say it out loud, like this is what we're expecting. Maybe not every tournament, right? But all the majors, why wouldn't the PGA want the majors to be something that is completely focused on golf-centric? They've got enough. I mean, you always have the waste management where people can be stupid, and we expect them to be, right? Like, that's the expectation going in. But at the major level, and even from the sense of you know, we always talk about like at some point, no one comes to your job and yells at you whenever you mess up. So, could we have those same type of expectations for these type of tournaments? I just would rather not have my phone almost anywhere. So yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, it was fun. You know, I mentioned being out at the Corn Ferry event, and Blades Brown was out there, this ridiculous 18, 19-year-old kid. And I watched people with their phones, and I'm sitting there thinking, like, one, I would probably never go back and watch it. I did record him on his drive on 18, but like walking down, or number number nine, but walking down and watching him at his next shot, I'm like, I just want to watch this, like watch him like do his thing, like try to be engaged and appreciate the fact that I'm getting an opportunity to see this kid, uh, young man that is gonna be probably pretty good on the PGA tour for a while. So um, but overall, I think Josh, you you said it right. Like Eronomic showed out. It was a great uh event, a great course. This has got to be the best PGA that I remember in a while. Uh PGA championship.

SPEAKER_01

Can you guys think of one that maybe tops that? I mean, but there I texted you guys, I think I did. There was a moment yesterday, Saturday, where you had Scheffler, Rory, Rom, um who else was on the first page? JT, and it was like, oh my gosh, this is about to be the greatest Sunday ever. And we had uh a birthday get together that concluded, and I opened the the app to look at the scoreboard, and I'm like, what happened? Like what wait, Alex Smalley is leading the golf tournament, and like like I like in what world, what like is this the Twilight Zone? Like the cream was rising to the top, and then it just like like stopped.

SPEAKER_00

Like so I think at one point there were 41 players within three or four strokes of the lead, right? And so I think that that right there shows you what the P how good all the PGA players are. And if you if you don't get if you don't get a window of three or four shots on a Saturday, the likelihood of you being able to hold on, because no, I mean, no one ran away. I mean, most there's so many times you look at the board, you'd be like, two, three, four, five, two, three, four, five, two, three, four, five. It's like, wait a minute, you've been you've been stuck at two, three, four, five for three days now, and no one was able to just have that close out until today, right? Until you shoot a 65 and you've been hanging around all weekend and doing a good job.

SPEAKER_01

Um which that this morning we were at brunch and I saw or at lunch after church and I saw that Kirk Kiyama posted a 63. And I was like, oh boy, for him to post a 63, that means it's out there, it's gettable today. So somebody, I was hoping it was gonna be one of the bigger names, but again, hat tip to Aaron Rye, he went out and got it because Aaron Aaron Rye did it.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, he he was probably you know, second, maybe 2.5 tier, right? Like he's a solid player and he he went out and shot a 65. He won it. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I would love to know how many putts inside 10 feet Scotty missed this week.

SPEAKER_02

All of them.

SPEAKER_01

But but what is that number? Like it's because it's a bunch. And like the one he missed today on number three, I was like, because I was like, okay, here comes Scotty, because he made that part, that birdie on two, and at that point he was just two back, and it's like, okay, he's about to be two under three, three holes. Here comes Scotty and just put a horrible stroke on the putt. And it's like, okay, well, that it that there we go again.

SPEAKER_00

What it how many putts did Brooks miss by an inch on was it Friday? I think it was where yeah, also put her linen down.

SPEAKER_01

Strokes gained putting for both those guys, they've got to be near the bottom of the list.

SPEAKER_00

I think Brooks was like 170, like he was so far behind, 127th or something like that. And the comment I saw was, what if he catches fire? He didn't have to catch fire, he just had to warm up. Like it wasn't, I mean, because yeah, but so many putts. But again, that goes back to it seemed clear by Thursday-ish, at least by Friday in the morning, that the greens were going to be it. Like the greens were gonna determine whether or not this was gonna be a weekend that someone could win or not. Um and it makes me want to go play these. I I didn't look it up, I think I saved it. Um, Robbie, I don't know if you looked at it. Arco sent out an email.

SPEAKER_02

That was a great article.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't read it yet, but I was I was interested. They they had like 270 rounds by the public or something like that, and they looked at the stats of that golf course for just regular golfers. Um I don't know how you play that course if you're a regular golfer. Like there were so many greens that you miss, and you're not in the rough, you're just in some sort of odd greenish area that's four feet below the hole. And I'm watching these guys chip, going, Oh my gosh, I I you gotta pop. It's like, what are you doing with your life?

SPEAKER_01

How about Jordan's that wedge shot he hit into the bank with spin on? That was awesome. That was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Like right. And that was Michael Kim posted on Twitter, he's like, Yeah, he's like, there's like five guys in the world that can do that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Someone commented, maybe just one. Because that low trajectory, I mean, he had probably like a 10-foot window where he had to hit that hill in order to make that comment. If it doesn't, if it's two, if it's two feet longer, it's off the back.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Right.

SPEAKER_02

Jonathan, I pulled up these stats for you from from Arcos, that that newsletter, which again, go to the Arcos, uh, ArcosGolf.com, their blog, and they have this on there. Uh, the average, so the yeah, 270-something rounds, they played it from about 6,500 yards.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna ask you about that.

SPEAKER_02

So not uh not the same as what these guys were just playing. The average Arcos golfer shoots 87 and a half. That's 17.5 over par on a par 70 layout. But again, on Arcos, like how many, how many people are just picking up their two-footers and you know, hey, that's a that's a bogey, that's a whatever. That's um breaking it down by number uh by by handicap. There were a few plus handicaps, so five people in this group uh were plus handicaps, they averaged 75. Scratched to five handicaps, averaged 81.4.

SPEAKER_01

Goodness grace.

SPEAKER_02

Five to five to ten handicaps, and this is from 6,500 yards, five to ten handicaps, uh let's see, averaged eighty-five and a half, hit six point four greens, made 0.6 birdies, and racked up three doubles per round. And then the 10 to 15 handicap, 88, 88.7. So back it up to where these guys were playing, those numbers jump hard. Josh, you and I were talking before you came on, Jonathan, before we hit record. Josh just played the from the tips at Birmingham, uh country club at Birmingham, and it wears you out, and these guys are doing it. 7200 yards.

SPEAKER_00

It was exhausting. Yeah. Yeah, because you gotta you gotta go after it. There are no every single time. Right. Like if you play a 6,500, you probably have like a 420-yard par four, at least two or maybe two on each side. And all of a sudden you're looking at a 480 or more, and you're like, okay, so now I'm hitting driver, and then I'm hitting some wood or ridiculous iron, and still ending up 20 yards short.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. Yeah. Not me. Into rough the chunks, and you don't you fly over the grain or you hit it you know, two feet and have to do it again.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I I it made me think the other day uh when I was watching the Corn Ferry event, um, the the old commercials where it was like, these guys are good. Like they are so, so good at golf. And it's just ridiculous. Our buddy Brandon played with um, oh gosh, I'm blanking on his name, uh guy that was playing, he's uh been on the tour for a little bit. He's playing, he was played in the uh um the Corn Ferry event, but he played with him and just said it was ridiculous to watch. So yeah. Lots of fun. Whole nother level. All right. Well, congrats to Aaron Rye. So uh I I'm curious, they asked Rory, Amanda Baleonis asked Rory there at the end, hey, what is your schedule like coming up? And we talked about it on our previous show. It seems like we just had the Masters, and there was a couple like signature events, and then all of a sudden it was PGA championship time. So I I will throw out there uh just to see what you are excited about. Next week we've got the CJ Cup at Byron Nelson, followed by Charles Schwab at Fort Worth. Then you have a signature event, the Memorial. That's when Rory said he would play next. RBC Canadian, and then back to another major in one month from now at Shinnecock uh with the US Open. So what uh what's exciting you from now to the US Open? Anything?

SPEAKER_01

Colonial is always fun to watch. Um I will be at the Canadian Open, which is a lot of fun. That's uh that's actually a work.

SPEAKER_00

Trip, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. We're a we're a sponsor of it. Um, so that'll be that's fun. Um, Rory is not in the field this year, but Tommy Fleetwood is. Um, I mean, they've got Brooks Captain. It's anyway. But yeah, God, it is so compact. So, so compact. Like, there's you can't come up for air.

SPEAKER_00

I want to see somebody else get tackled uh by a security guard at the Canadian other man.

SPEAKER_01

Is that happening? Was it Corey Connors Corey Connors? It was when Nick Taylor won it, but who got tackled? Right.

SPEAKER_00

That's right, another ball, another player. He like rushed out there with him as a security guard to tackle them.

SPEAKER_01

So is Rory just gonna spend the next three or four weeks at Shinnecock? Is he gonna be on Long Island preparing there, I guess, to be masters?

SPEAKER_00

He's probably gonna go to uh one of his many houses to just relax for a bit. Just kind of talks to his tax guy to see how he can manage all this money he's won in the last year or so.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Uh looking looking at uh stats that just came out from today's round. Aaron Rye 182 and a half feet of putts made. 182 feet five inches.

SPEAKER_01

How many feet of that were was the last uh that went on 17? I said it was like 60 some, wasn't it? Okay. I mean still.

SPEAKER_02

John John Rahm and Alex Molly, who came in second, had 59 feet and 84 feet, respectively. Justin Thomas made 117 feet. So Kurt Kitiyama, all right, you talking about putting, making long putts, 141 feet.

SPEAKER_01

Goodness gracious.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. You you had to make long putts. That that was that's the answer. That's the answer. Scotty made 77 feet of putts today. He all right, here, here I don't know if this is overall or just today. This is round four. Uh all right, this is telling Scotty was minus 1.266 strokes gain in putting just today. Dead last? Uh Aaron Rye. Aaron Rye was, I mean, Kurt Kideyama was first. 5.225. Aaron Rye was 3.9, like almost four strokes gained. And that's that's the tournament. That's your tournament. Why do you need to look at stats? Because Kurt Kideyama, Justin Thomas, and Aaron Rye. Uh they had good days.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So that is wild. You know, I have some stats that I'd like to share from that I enjoyed. Um, and it's I'll just I'll read off the names and I'll tell you what.

SPEAKER_00

Are these from Birmingham?

SPEAKER_02

Are these from the Birmingham Country Club? Josh had one double and seven.

SPEAKER_01

Uh the the that's that's too expensive. Seven athletic IPAs. Um so uh I'll ask I'll throw these names out and then I'll tell you, I'll ask you guys what they have in common. Uh Billy Horschel, Bryson DeCambo, Tyrrell Hatton, Wyndham Clark, and Mr. Michael Block. Do you know what they all have in common?

SPEAKER_00

They all missed shots to the right.

SPEAKER_02

What'd you say, Robbie? We could have hung out with them this weekend.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they did not ruin my viewing of the PGA championship by being on the broadcast Saturday or Sunday.

SPEAKER_02

That's funny. That's just mean. That is mean and funny. Well, and something else. Oh man, how many was it just was it just one of the PGA pros professionals that made it turn, I think, was the only one that made it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Probably had the other you had it right. Whoever took uh whoever whoever owes me a lot of money for that.

SPEAKER_00

I put my 10 bucks on uh Aaron Rice, so perfect.

SPEAKER_02

You can you'll you'll have no problem paying it off then.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_02

Oh man. Guys, this is fun. We'll be back. Uh maybe.

SPEAKER_01

Before we I want to I want to get more? Yeah, well a little preview uh of uh a segment that is to come on future preview episodes, and it's really a ronamink that kind of influenced this or inspired it. Is I'm watching everything on live from and I actually exchanged some messages back and forth with uh the guys at Sugarloaf Social because they posted something. It's like they were reading my mind. Aranamink has a terrible logo. Um, it's like they use Times New Roman and let's put an A in size font 72 and then a G C in size font 48 and put them right behind the A, and that's our logo. Um, so moving forward, we're gonna do a little bit of a dive in the logo into the logos for the major championship venues. Uh Augusta is Augusta, so there's not gonna be a lot there. We'll find some other uh little path or little thread to pull there. But uh, I'm really looking forward to diving into Shinnecock and all the things that are not politically correct about that logo um and just the history of it and how it came to be. But yeah, Ironamic, thank you for the inspiration with your uh just completely uh lackluster logo. Um, because now we're gonna have a little segment on these preview shows for the majors, the roundtables, to to talk about the logo, its history, and and how it came to be. I love it. Well done.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. It uh it's not the best uh monogram logo with uh with initials, but it's it's not the worst, but it could be could be so much better. Anyway, get get Seth McWarter or Marie Chinquet involved, Maria Chinquet involved, somebody like that, and let them go to work and create you something. Create create create an alternate logo. Yeah. So word art. Microsoft 95 art or word art.

SPEAKER_00

Microsoft 95 word art.

SPEAKER_02

Uh or as Jonathan loves ChatGPT, just ask them for something. Like, hey, create me a logo.

SPEAKER_00

No, have some creativity in your own life and don't use Chat GPT. There you go.

SPEAKER_02

We'll leave it at that. Please ask Chat GPT how to uh what do I need to do to get better at golf? That should we did play one time, didn't we film it? We said, hey, what club should I hit next? I don't remember that. I thought we were playing like a chat GPT. I thought you and I were playing somewhere and we were saying, all right, we're 180 yards. What club should I hit? And it's like it's the five iron. All right.

SPEAKER_00

So our 40 yards over the green.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yep, yep. Anyway, well, congrats to Aaron Rye. We uh I'm sure we'll see more of you later uh if you're playing this well. Um so yeah, we'll uh we'll take it from there, guys. It's been fun. Shout out to our boy David Kirsch. Uh print, all things go well with work and life and everything else. You were missed. Um yeah, I just really wonder what the uh what the rant would have been all about. We'll just never know. We'll never know. So anyway, he did not pick Aaron Rye. I went back and looked for sure. Uh so anyway, well, for Josh Decker, Jonathan Hill, this is Robbie, another best ball round table. We'll see you guys maybe with uh if there's some breaking news in the world of golf, we'll jump back on one of these things. But if not, we'll see you for the preview of the U.S. Open. Talk to you later.
