SPEAKER_05Just like the fucking big mistake, where you make mistakes, yeah.
SPEAKER_16Let's go. Gang gang with the gang gang. I'm here. Let's get it. Yo, my God, bro. He really be waiting for that record sound.
SPEAKER_08PC, I'm gonna need you to do me a favor. What? There's a million people in the world you can compare K G to. Don't ever compare her to Beyonce again.
SPEAKER_04Please, that is my best friend. That's Beyonce. That is not Beyonce.
SPEAKER_16The fact that he's waiting.
SPEAKER_04That's it. I even explained it one of the times on the podcast.
SPEAKER_08Well, no, it didn't, it didn't add up.
SPEAKER_04So shut up, Mark.
SPEAKER_08Anybody else?
SPEAKER_04You don't understand this.
SPEAKER_14How is your birthday, Mark?
SPEAKER_08Who's cool? Who's cool? Nothing too crazy. Kept it light.
SPEAKER_16Okay, respectfully, respectfully. How old do you know?
SPEAKER_08Big 31. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, gracefully. Big 31 with no kids.
SPEAKER_16Oh. Oh, my co-worker. My co-worker was like, Yeah, he got a lot of kids. So one of my clients the other day. I'm like, yo, dang. I do though. We like that sometimes. Not over here though. I don't know, man. You may have a little Mark Jr. somewhere out there. Yeah, probably in DR, bro.
SPEAKER_02This guy is crazy.
SPEAKER_08He might never go back.
SPEAKER_02So how was y'all's week?
SPEAKER_04Uh the week was madness for me.
SPEAKER_02Why? Expound.
SPEAKER_04I just had like uh I uh I don't want to expose these people on on uh on the podcast because it's broadcasted, but basically I was out here saving lives, man. Nah, right?
SPEAKER_08Expose them.
SPEAKER_04It was just the craziest, the craziest week at work.
SPEAKER_02Especially if you don't, especially if they don't listen.
SPEAKER_04It's like yeah, like okay, so they ain't listen. So somebody definitely tried to off themselves at the job, and it wasn't even uh it was one of my co-workers, like my old student. Wait, it wasn't a patient? No, it wasn't a client. Okay, wait, with speed age, with speed age.
SPEAKER_08I don't understand how that keeps happening. Like, how do you don't get the job done? Like, it can't be that hard.
SPEAKER_15Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Oh my lord, it was a lot, it was a lot going on, and I was only on uh shift with uh two other girls, but like one of them is a good one.
SPEAKER_16How are you doing this at work? Don't you do that at home? Mad selfish. Like, that's mad selfish.
SPEAKER_04You supposed to do that at home, and then y'all wouldn't know. Don't you do that at home? Y'all are so dark and terrible.
SPEAKER_02Wait, okay, hold on. So your your supervisor tried to do this to themselves?
SPEAKER_04My ex-supervisor.
SPEAKER_02What was they doing there? I fire her too.
SPEAKER_04Um, they still work there, they just got a different position.
SPEAKER_02Oh, they got demoted.
SPEAKER_04No, promoted. Promoted to stay away from the crazy.
SPEAKER_02So if they was the ex-supervisor, what are they now?
SPEAKER_04They're into uh basically like handling other things, but it's a bigger salary.
SPEAKER_16So like they got rewarded. So they got rewarded for trying to off themselves.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no. This is before then. I'm just saying, like, it's my it was my old supervisor, but now he's in he's in a different position. But like this happened. It it was honestly another, it's just one of those situations where somebody, you know what? It's good that I'm on the podcast and um speaking about this because I was like shooken up by this. You never know who you could help. Yeah, he was like going through something with another person, um, which was another cool word. Ain't no cheats that good, bro. It was it it, I don't even think it even got to that point.
SPEAKER_13Oh nah, like I'm I'm so serious.
SPEAKER_04He ain't been getting on, he ain't even getting that. He's gonna y'all have to talk about it.
SPEAKER_02Let her finish the story. It's time to get a lot of details. But yeah, so so it was like send me off. Oh, y'all are terrible. Yo, they are so unserious right now. Like this is a serious thing.
SPEAKER_04Basically, it was like a people pleasing, like Shorty was basically using him, type of thing like that. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like somebody got real. They was going through it with their partner, and he she he confid uh like she confided in him and stuff like that. He got he took it, I guess, another way, and it wasn't that way on her end, and that's what I got.
SPEAKER_16That drove him up the wall.
SPEAKER_04Uh, it that was that was beyond. I I just I was baffled. I was like, what?
SPEAKER_08Like he's Joe from you. Now he's sitting at the dock of the bed.
SPEAKER_02No, Joe, Joe from you was was was never gonna harm himself, he was gonna kill her. That's the difference. Joe from you would never kill himself. Hell nah, you're right. So, okay, so all right. So the girl rejected him, and he decided while he was at work that he wouldn't have to be.
SPEAKER_04They had got into a little uh fight, right? And um he he she had ended up because he weird. She had ended up making up with her friend. She her friend and him had a fight with her, basically, right? But it's her friend, keep in mind. So I guess she forgave the friend first. Of course, she knows a friend for mad long, like they're all new. So it's like um he got very jealous of that. That's what I get from it. And then he's like, Oh, uh, I got real jealous, and I'm so heartbroken. But when you're using words like that, jealous, heartbroken, it makes it like a yeah, like a before the friendship thing. Like now you're like almost like um infatuated, like an obsession.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, boy need to pack it up.
SPEAKER_04It'll never be the same, like things like that. And it's like asking, huh?
SPEAKER_02They all three work with you.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I just can't get over.
SPEAKER_02The girl and the ex-supervisor, they all work with you.
SPEAKER_16I just can't get over how boy's ready to jump over the ledge and he ain't even sniff it.
SPEAKER_04Only one of them works on my side of the building. The other two, the one that attempted that and the girl that he was, you know, obsession over or whatever, they're on the same side of the building. And then her friend is on my side.
SPEAKER_16So did they make them split up how they work?
SPEAKER_04Um now, like this is like so fresh, and he's we're awaiting his you know return or whatever, but he's like, Oh, just get back to work. But I want to let anyone out there know it sometimes you you don't give so much of yourself to someone, like, especially if the signs are not there that it's an intimate type of relationship or it's going there. Like you, if you're not there all the way and you don't express these things to people, people don't really know how to perceive your uh giving and helping them, you know. They could they're just taking it as, oh, this is my homie, he's helping me out with, you know what I'm saying? And it could be for the person that's thinking, like, oh, okay, like I really like this person, like just be very careful and open your mouth. If you do, if you are into somebody, don't be like so caught up in things that you're like, oh, I'm doing all this stuff for this person. I don't know. Ask questions and find out where you are, where you stand with people, because you never know where your feelings could like bring you. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like thinking something else without without speaking. There's no conversation, but you're taking gestures and like, oh, this person is nice. They're you know, always asking for my help. I help them all the time. Like, you gotta check out the context clues and things, like you know, because sometimes people are really just using you.
SPEAKER_02Yes, and you're you're absolutely right. And I'm up now, y'all don't woke me up. I feel much better. For real, like you know, I shout out to everybody. That's crazy. Wait, but hold on, hold on. Getting through something, but man, like, ooh, it was. I have a question. I I have a lot of questions, but I'm gonna try to keep it at warm. Yeah. So it's I feel like we just we just skipped a lot.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I can start cussing soon.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, and in two minutes.
SPEAKER_02I feel like we skipped a lot in this story because I okay, I get the backstory of why he was feeling that way, and I get the end result of now he's on leave, you know, so he gets his mental ride and he feels good enough to go back to work.
SPEAKER_16But what happened at work that Gee, what happened is he needs a three-day hold.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm saying what actually happened at work that he was.
SPEAKER_04So at work because they work together, like I mean desk behind desk, like or facing each other, I say. Like their desks are facing each other on their side. So they had a fight actually that day, right? And they were on shift together. So her and the other girl went on break. So I guess that really like set them off. Remember, I told you they had a fight prior, and she was she wasn't talking to her friend and him. Uh-huh. And then, of course, she known the friend from Mad Long. That's like her best friend. Like, she only knows him from working at the job, which they haven't even been there like a full year yet.
SPEAKER_12Okay.
SPEAKER_04So it's like, you know, like it's one of those things. Like, and even at the job, like I'm telling y'all, everyone could tell. It's like, oh, their relationship is a little weird. Like, oh, a little weird, a little weird. But if you ask, it's like, oh no. But for him, it seems a little more deep. It always has, you know. But I didn't know how deep until that day. Like, I was like, what? Like, I was, I was like, what? Like, I didn't know it was that. And I'm like, well, did y'all ever do any? Like, you know, I'm trying to ask questions and not, you know, hurt some because this is in the midst. I'm like, well, what's like really going on? And it's like he was talking through things, and I try to make out like what I took from it from knowing them and like that day. And I'm just like, wow, like it was really like an obsession type of thing, like an infatuation.
SPEAKER_02So okay, I no, I get that. But what I'm saying, I think, all right, I'm I'm just gonna like I'm just gonna take the band-aid off because I'm trying to be nice with it. What did he do to try to what did he do to try to kill himself at once?
SPEAKER_03Oh, the two pills, pills, pills, pill bottles, done. That nigga said you're not giving me the attention. I think it was what was it? Two today. Tylenol.
SPEAKER_04Tylenol something else.
SPEAKER_16Shut the fuck up.
SPEAKER_04Something else. Something, some other pills. No, and then he had his own, he had his own um medications that he took, which he's prescribed. And I don't know about those ones.
SPEAKER_02So so how did y'all know that he tried to do that? Like, did he take these?
SPEAKER_04So the crazy thing is, um, I got a call, right? I was at the front desk. Um, and I got a call from my other coworker who wasn't even at work, but she's mad close to him. She's been working there mad years too. So she's like, Oh, go to the back. Hurry, call an ambulance. So I'm like, okay, what's going on? Like, what in the back? Like, ain't everybody home? I'm thinking it's just like, you know, us in the building, me and my other two coworkers on that side. Because the other side, they go home early, like at four. By this time, it's like seven, you know, seven thirty. So I'm like, oh, okay, like what's going on? And she told me that. Oh, as soon as she said, oh, he tried to, he sh he just took a whole bottle of all these. I'm like, what? So I ran back there, and then I'm trying to like, I'm trying to not say anything to the new staff who's on another floor, but I'm like, I'm trying to make it like okay, I don't want nobody to like notice what's going on because my clients at the job are so damn dosy. So I got over there to him. I mean drooling, crying, like it was it was a lot. It was a lot.
SPEAKER_07What?
SPEAKER_04And it was like, oh, like, I don't know what I did. It was like like uh like a a kid, like that was like like begging, like, no, I want it. Like it, I was like, oh my god, like I did not know what to do. Besides, you know, I called the cops and everything. I I already did that, but I'm like, like, I don't know like what to say. I'm like, what happened? What happened? And it's like, oh, I didn't mean to get jealous. I just got jealous. Um I'm so heartbroken, it can never be how it was. And I'm like, what? Like y'all's friendship? Like, I was confused, y'all. Because I'm like, you I don't know. Like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_02So they're trying to say that he was like the dude from paradise that's like obsessed with uh Xavier's wife.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, he's like Gary. Oh my gosh. Yes, but you never know because I mean this is work, and what if she just doesn't want anybody to know that she was really dealing with him on the low? And that's what I was saying as well.
SPEAKER_04I'm like, I don't know. You know that you man.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so you sometimes just don't want people at work to know what's going on.
SPEAKER_04Right. And that's what I that's why I keep my mind open because I'm like, uh, with that situation. Not that I'm like, I was just trying to wrap my head around it because I was like, there. Like, I'm like, what is going on? I was trying to speak to him and like talk him out of it. Like, just like, like, what are you doing right now? Like, what is going on? I'm like, if that's your friend, like, I don't understand. I'm like, don't let nobody like get to you like that. Like, you know, you have uh mad people that care about you or stuff like that, but it was a lot.
SPEAKER_02Uh that's a lot. Uh, just sidebar, Ali, did you get that paradise reference?
SPEAKER_16No, I didn't finish paradise. This is crazy. We all want that bad.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we won that bad. All right.
SPEAKER_08Um maybe he just pulled a me and just pretended like he was gonna commit suicide. Maybe he did think the pizza.
SPEAKER_16Not you be doing that.
SPEAKER_04No, I don't be doing it. I did it once or twice. No, you just saying for the attention.
SPEAKER_16I never pulled it.
SPEAKER_02If you leave me, I don't think he was saying it for the attention. Mark is saying he wasn't saying it for the attention, he was saying it for a guilt trip to the girl. Like, like, you know what I'm saying? But it sounds like a dude at your job, it sounds like, and you know, I I wish him well. Like, it's you know, me too. It sounds like he didn't know he's okay, actually.
SPEAKER_04I spoke to him afterwards. I just talked to him like what two days ago, so he's he's fine as of as much as I know right now.
SPEAKER_02He did it sounds like he and like I said again, I wish him well, but it sounds like your coworker did it for attention, like he didn't, you know what I'm saying? Like you took Tylenol, my nigga. Like, you could have took Tylenol is crazy.
SPEAKER_08Anybody see him take the pills? Like, he could have just fussed him down the toilet. I seen nothing.
SPEAKER_04I only got the call. I only seen like him out. I seen the bottles on the desk, but that was it.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, he fussed some joints down the toilet. Nigga ain't popped none of them shit.
SPEAKER_02But at least you could have took like Benadryl, something that you know is gonna alter your sister had me crying.
SPEAKER_04She said, multivitamin gummies. This motherfucker ain't this nigga in there overdosing on.
SPEAKER_16Nigga ate four Fred Flintstone gummies.
SPEAKER_02Yo, what that's yo, I'm sorry you had to deal with that, CC. That's crazy. You were I was just as baffled.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, you better than me, bro. I'd have been at work. Like, niggas can't be serious. And no, I'm thinking about Mark React. I'd have been like, girl, what'd you do to this nigga? You better, like this you ain't no way this you can't tell me that she ain't give him no pussy. Ain't no way.
SPEAKER_04But yo, the see, I don't know. And the thing he was saying was like, money, I helped with. I was like, Oh, I don't know.
SPEAKER_16You giving her money and you ain't getting no ain't no way, bro. Ain't no way, ain't no way. Ain't no way. Ain't no niggas ready to kill himself. He's spending money, he helping with this and doing that. Ain't no way he ain't getting no pussy, bro.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's the key words he was using, heartbroken, like yeah.
SPEAKER_16She lying. She was giving that nigga sneak pussy. She lying.
SPEAKER_02Things are never gonna be the same now, and all of that. Like, yeah, something something ain't right. Something is not right.
SPEAKER_16Something ain't right, somebody lying. Wow, yo, I always be catching people like that. Like, oh cheese. You got you have to ask the right questions, and then when you start asking the right questions, you see the niggas' faces, you'd be like, Oh, uh okay. I'm not even gonna ask no more. I ain't gonna ask no more. Ain't no man doing all the you wait. So he was picking you up, taking you to work, dropping you off. He was paying for this, paying for the babysitter, he's doing this, he's doing it. Come on, girl. Yeah, you sucking dick.
SPEAKER_04Something, something was yo, down to the clients saying it, y'all. Come on, the clients knew that they're I mean, the clients is in there, like they seem like they see people.
SPEAKER_02People who need the help they see the interactions, they like they deal with each other. Crackheads know what's going on. You already know what's up, crackheads.
SPEAKER_16If yeah, nah, nah.
SPEAKER_02Because everybody, everybody believes crackheads don't know what's going on, yeah. They'll do whatever thinking that the crackheads don't know. They always watching, right? No, everything's watching, they got the thing.
SPEAKER_16They're the most observant.
SPEAKER_02They the ones that be that be ratting to the police when they ask them questions.
SPEAKER_16Always police should be blessing crackheads. That's why.
SPEAKER_02Because they because everybody thinks that they stupid and they do whatever.
SPEAKER_16Nah, you gotta be careful. Like a crackhead fuck up your whole shit. You gotta be careful. That's why they always say you can't have no nigga in the crew doing drugs, and you never you can't trust a fiend. You can't trust a fiend. Them niggas will do anything.
SPEAKER_02Wow. Okay. Um, what a week, CC.
SPEAKER_04Yo, yeah, it was a crazy week, but I'm back from better, baby. I was good, you know, the whole time. I'm just saying, I'm looking out for my people.
SPEAKER_16So sorry to hear your shit was so crazy. That was wow. You know, I'm right now in the country. I'm sitting here in the woods in the rocking chair with a nice pepper moon.
SPEAKER_04Oh, now you want to be sitting in a rocking chair, right?
SPEAKER_16Y'all trying to replace me with a nigga in a rocking chair, so I figured I'd get in one. That's comfortability.
SPEAKER_08You know what I'm saying? My regular, I ain't have no entertainment at work like that.
SPEAKER_04He said entertainment.
SPEAKER_08I would have been in there having a blind. I would have been asking for his shifts. Let me get a little overtime.
SPEAKER_02You play it or leave it full time or now that I think about it. It was a little entertainment at work at work with these high schoolers. Um, uh a boy and a dike for each other.
SPEAKER_16Oh, interesting. Did the dyke whiff his ass?
SPEAKER_02No. He beat the shit out the dike? Yeah, because the dike hit him first.
SPEAKER_16But the thing is, because that I we're won't play dress up as a boy no more. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_02She's she's one of those where you won't know that she's that. You know what I'm saying? You might just be a boy. And I guess she was feeling like that, and then I was explaining because my coworkers like, I don't know that name you're saying, I don't recognize her name. And I'm like, yo, she's a the dyke. And then I was like, they was like, but why did they fight? I was like, I don't know, I wasn't there. I don't know why they fought.
SPEAKER_14Did you fight her girlfriend?
SPEAKER_02They fought because he called her a dyke.
SPEAKER_16And she got offended. And then she, yup, she thought she was a real nigga, and then she learned. She learned the weight of a real nigga's fist. Yeah, it was listen, man. I really don't, I really don't say that I don't think nobody should be putting hands on nobody, but them she hems, man. Y'all gotta chill. Y'all gotta chill. Like, yeah, I I get it that you think that you're a man, and some, yo, listen, I know some who be like, yo, listen, I'm not about to fight you. Like, you dude, I'ma shoot this nigga. Like, they be like straight up, I'm not about to be tussling with no grown man with grown man strength. But the ones who really think that they a man, the ones who walk around with their strap on them, like, and I ain't talking about the gun. That is disgusting. I mean a real strap, like walking around like you got something hanging between your pants. Y'all need help. Y'all not, y'all not dudes. Stop trying to fight with real men. Get your brother or your cousin or somebody to jump on these niggas. Stop. That's true. I'm not arguing with no female because I'm not about to smack her. I'm gonna get one of my female friends or my sister to beat this bitch up.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. That that it was just you know, every time something happens, you start replaying things. And then I just remember that day. Like, he I seen him a couple times, he's a very quiet kid, he stays himself, he don't bother nobody. And he asked me to hold like his track bag in his cause the bag is too big for his locker. And he asked me to hold it in my office. And I'm like, yeah, sure, whatever. So yeah, so at the end of the day, he came and he's like, Oh, miss, you know, can I get my bag? I'm like, Yeah, you gotta hurry up because that bus for track leaves quickly. Like, it's it leaves very quick, you can miss it. And next thing I know, he's getting escorted in there with a bloody nose. And I'm like, wait, what? What just happened? Like, that was like what happened from you getting on the bus to go to track, and now you coming in here with a bloody nose. Like, but whatever. Um But yeah, so this week was my mom's birthday. Happy belated to my mom.
SPEAKER_08Happy birthday to y'all, beautiful mom's birthday to my mama.
SPEAKER_02And um blessings. On the day of her birthday, uh, I got up of work. I went and picked up a cake that I brought her, and I went to the house and I she requested something for me to cook it. I can't remember. What did I cook more?
SPEAKER_08Shrimp linguini.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I she wanted shrimp, shrimp and broccoli linguini with butter and lemon garlic sauce that I made.
SPEAKER_16And um I don't even eat seafood, and that sounds mad good. No, it was gonna be.
SPEAKER_02I made it very quick, like it doesn't take me long to make that. Um, so I made it, and within like an hour and a half, everybody was eating. I was too exhausted, so I'm just sitting there, and I guess I started like dozing off a little bit while everybody was making their plate and eating. And um, my nephew Josiah, he doesn't eat shrimp or whatever, but he does love pasta, so they gave him just a pasta and a broccoli. And he absolutely loved it. He was like, This is number one spaghetti I ever had in my life. He like loved it. And then Mark was like, Mark tried to get on me. He like, look at this girl, like she over there falling asleep, like she was cooking for five hours, and she barely cooked for an hour, whatever. So Josiah Jojo goes, Uncle Mark, leave her alone. She just cooked a delicious meal, let her rest in peace. And Mark said, Wait, what? When did you get that? But you know, we laugh. I was laughing because I'm like, he doesn't, you know, he's he's using it in the right context, but it's just we use it in a different way. But I know what he meant by that, and I thought that was so funny that he said that because kids don't know context, like they they used, he was right. Let her rest in peace. I was resting peacefully. So yeah, that is so funny. Yeah, it was a success. We had, you know, my mom was happy, everything was nice, you know. It worked out, and now I got two more birthdays. My little brother AJ's is this week, so happy birthday, AJ. Happy birthday, AJ.
SPEAKER_13Happy birthday, young king.
SPEAKER_02And then the week after is my dad's, and then we're done for a while. Wait, he's almost a big dog.
SPEAKER_04Dang, how old is AJ gonna be? 21.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, 21. Everybody turned 21 this year. My nephew turned 21 this year, too. Everybody turned 20. Dang, we getting old, boy. Mm-hmm. That's a fact. Shut up, Mark. Man, you right there behind us, my boy.
SPEAKER_02It's funny because AJ, my mom was just saying, you know, when AJ was in school, he used to say, Oh, all the kids make fun of me because they say that my mom is really old. And my mom was like, You was the youngest. Like, I had my first at 19.
SPEAKER_04Like, you know, I'm like, your mom is not old.
SPEAKER_02I said, but you know what? In school, when everybody's talking about how old their parents are, nobody gives a damn that you got three older siblings that your parents had when they were 19, 21. You know what I'm saying? Like, you ain't lying.
SPEAKER_13They'd be like, God damn, yeah, your mom a grandpa, your dad a grandpa.
SPEAKER_02And I'm gonna go to the house.
SPEAKER_13Ninth grade niggas 78.
SPEAKER_02She said I was 32 when I had AJ, and I was like, Oh, that that puts things in perspective now. They like, damn, right, because by the time he's in high school, she was in what her her her 40s.
SPEAKER_16So y'all, that's my my mom. My mom had me at 32. My dad was 28.
SPEAKER_02Oh, really? Wow, yeah.
SPEAKER_16My parents is my parents was old when it everybody's parents was like, Oh, yeah, my parents is 30, 30 years old. I was like, Oh, well, my mama 45. My mama, my mama 50. Damn, my mama 60. My parents was born 1960 and 1965. I'm the baby of the little on my mom's side.
SPEAKER_02Wait, but you you had a kid at 36.
SPEAKER_16I had a kid at 32. It'll be the same. I had my first kid at I had my first kid at 19 turning 20, my second at my second at 23, my third kid at 30, and then um my fourth kid at 32.
SPEAKER_02That's I think my I was my mom had me at 19, she had Mark at 21, 22, and then she had Jasmine at like at like 24, 25, and then after that, it was AJ at 32.
SPEAKER_07So you're putting on my mother's mama. What you have going on?
SPEAKER_16I'm just saying it was similar. It's a what you're saying. At least it's the same baby daddy shit.
SPEAKER_02Everybody on my side, we all got different parents. Shit. Exactly. And she's still with her baby, her husband, excuse me, she's still with him, so it's nothing to be a thing that I like.
SPEAKER_16My mama, my mama got three kids, and she had all her kids four years apart. My dad got four kids. He had all his kids six years apart, but then he had my little sister, and she's 12 years younger than me. Then uh my kids, my first two are two two years and eight months apart, two years and ten months apart, and my last two are two years and eight months apart. So I it's like once I start having kids, we propagate out almost every three years.
SPEAKER_02So the next one.
SPEAKER_16If we have another, it would be in the next two years. But I don't I don't know. I told her, I told her that um we gotta wait. We gotta wait. We gotta wait. I said either next text bracket or the next house, because we need more room now. Yeah, nah, I was I was looking at this nice house we was gonna go into, but it was starting to be more fees and more fees, and then the inspection, it wasn't going, it wasn't looking the way I wanted to, so I nipped that in the butt. So now I'm just going back to the drawing board trying to find what I want because um I need I need a few acres and I need at least a big old balcony, and I don't want to build it, so I need one that comes with it.
SPEAKER_04Isn't it nippy that's a bug? I said I need a few acres.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, well no, because my house, I'm not, I'm gonna I'm gonna keep it a buck with y'all. I'm really looking for something that's close to the city, but in the country, because I'm I'm about to have a little farm, bro. Like, I'm not even gonna lie to you. I'm I'm gonna have all kinds of different animals, and I I want to I want to live off the land as much as possible.
SPEAKER_08It's nipping in the bud, not nipping in the bud. It is nipping in the bud. He just a fruity ass nigga, yo. This is crazy.
SPEAKER_02Um, all right, let me introduce us real quick. I want to piggyback off of this conversation, but I do want to get the intros out the way. So, welcome back to another episode of the Media Sayers Podcast. I'm your host, KG. So happy to be here. I'm joined by my lovely co-host. I have Cece the voice in the spot. Don't make it high.
SPEAKER_04What's good, everybody? I'm here. I have no rhyme. Where's my ghostwriter?
SPEAKER_08My bad. I got you next week. I ain't know I didn't know you needed something.

SPEAKER_02And then, of course, last but certainly not least, I'm joined by the instigator himself, Mr. HR Marcus here, everybody.
SPEAKER_08You already know I said what the fuck I said.
SPEAKER_02Yes, sir. Yo, let me let me tell y'all this. I I really I typically don't do this. I I hate when I let the listeners know.
SPEAKER_08Girls be lying when I say that, but go ahead.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no. I'm talking about a way different context. As far as recording, yeah, exactly. As far as recording-wise, I don't like the listeners to know what we got going on as far as recording, but I haven't recorded in my car in so long. And I I'm back in the car. This is my favorite place to record. Like, it's just I'm alone. The sound does, you know, it sounds good, everything works. And this guy is like, he's like one of those people that walk around trying to get you to vote for whoever the hell is running for whatever shit is going on in in your town. And he's been knocking at the door for mad long, and then uh the a groceries got delivered, and he's talking at the people that delivering the groceries.
SPEAKER_16Like, get the fuck off my steps, dick.
SPEAKER_02So now he comes and he's staring, he's standing at my window, staring at me with the clipboard, like trying to get my attention while I'm doing the intros. And I'm just like, Are you fucking dumb? Like, you should have put the P sign up.
SPEAKER_08Well, you should have you should have said that shit right here on the podcast.
SPEAKER_16That would be like, yo, my man's unless you got something to say to the to the to the peoples, get the fuck out of my face.
SPEAKER_02No, but that's why I said I don't usually do like I don't like the listeners to know that you know I'm saying, like how we record, but at this point, I'm like, okay, like that was so fucking weird. Like no, had he would have handled his that nigga wanted you to give him a shout out.
SPEAKER_16Should have got some promotion. He wanted to tell everybody on the podcast what was going on. That's what that's what he wanted.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna show y'all the I'm gonna show y'all the ring camera footage. Yo, I'm about to say, did you take a picture of that nigga? No, I didn't. I but he's on the ring camera, so I'm gonna show you the the footage from the ring camera.
SPEAKER_16Everybody gotta be careful with this ring camera shit. This ring camera footage kid, and everybody caught up now.
SPEAKER_02No, this is not like the official ring camera. This is actually through what's I don't know the name of it, but it's not like the brand ring camera.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, who cares? If it works like a ring camera, nigga is ring to me. I'm one of them real old school people. I don't give a fuck what if it's ring, ding, sling, nigga. As long as it works and it do what it's supposed to do, that's what it is. You got some kind of ring.
SPEAKER_02What you mean caught up?
SPEAKER_16Oh, you don't you ain't see what 50 was like. Don't make me release the uh don't make me release the ring camera footage.
SPEAKER_02Oh oh yeah, I don't I don't gotta worry about that. I ain't got none of that shit going on. Uh-uh it's for surveillance for surveillance purposes, ain't none of that shit going on in my shit.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, I have my I have my I got my cameras up. Somebody it had to be a little kid because they ain't take nothing. Somebody went in my car, and I'm pretty sure they smoked in my shit, bro. I came in my car, it was Bob Marley paper sitting in my shit. I ain't never smoked a Bob Marley paper a day in my life.
SPEAKER_02Wait, they broke in your car just to smoke?
SPEAKER_16Bro, just to smoke, my nigga.
SPEAKER_02I'm in the hood.
SPEAKER_16Y'all niggas think I'm joking, but why did it have to be some little kids? It had to be a small job.
SPEAKER_02Why did they just take the weed and smoke somewhere else? Why they smoke in the shit?
SPEAKER_16Like that's I ain't gonna lie. When I was a kid and I used to walk around with my friends and we ain't had nowhere to smoke, we couldn't be smoking on the on on the on the steps or in or in the front of our crib. We found an empty car and we smoked that shit out. Whoever walked in their car in the morning was mad as shit.
SPEAKER_02This is I've never heard now. That is a first for me. I never heard.
SPEAKER_16I've definitely done that shit, bro. I swear to God, bro. I swear to god, I ain't gonna lie. I definitely done that shit a few times in Brownway. We we walking around and we need somewhere to smoke. It's cold as fuck outside. Niggas ain't got nowhere to burn. Oh shit, open car. We baked that shit up.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_02But that's that's insane. I never heard no shit. Thank y'all.
SPEAKER_16Can you imagine? You come outside, it's a bunch of little niggas sitting in your car smoking. Pass that shit. I'm taxing this shit. Give me this L. Get the fuck out of smoking.
SPEAKER_02I don't know what the hell I would do.
SPEAKER_16Fuck that little nigga smoking. I can see he's passing. No, with these kids, I wouldn't be smoking these shit.
SPEAKER_04Hell no.
SPEAKER_16The hell no, you're talking about spinning all in that shit. These kids be doing all kind of shit. All kind of shit for real.
SPEAKER_02No, they out of pineapple.
SPEAKER_16Oh, you pulled the pineapple?
SPEAKER_02Well, see, I knew he wasn't gonna be focused. I said that. I literally said that. I said that. I'm so done with you. I literally said this nigga is not gonna be 100% focused. Look where he at though. He's gonna be distracted. I fucking knew it. Um shut up. Yo, dead ass.
SPEAKER_08We got in 2026. I mean 2006 facts. Yeah, let's go.
SPEAKER_042006 was also another great year.
SPEAKER_08I'm pretty sure of it. Yeah, you gonna you gonna uh tell them what you told me pre-pod?
SPEAKER_02Wait, no, because I don't even know what she said. No, I don't I really don't know what he's talking about. I don't know what he's talking about.
SPEAKER_08What I said they be annoying the fuck out of me, commenting on every single fact. Like, let me get through the shit first before you comment. Yeah, I'm fucking crying.
SPEAKER_05Oh, I used to love that song back in 19 every single one, dead ass.
SPEAKER_04I'll be getting more hype as you go down the list. Yo, right, this is hell you date something. I really don't be like, Yes, yo, that reminds me back in my day.
SPEAKER_08So every other song or something like that, not every single one.
SPEAKER_02Yo, I got tears with my eyes. Why would Mark say Mark be exposed?
SPEAKER_08Because we don't have no pre-pod meanings anymore, so we're gonna get it all during the pod. That's so funny.
SPEAKER_02Okay, all right. Okay, y'all. It's episode 206, so we're doing the year. Okay, hold on. Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_08Take your time, Pastor. I'm about to throw up again. It's not funny. Is that Republican uh recruiter still out there?
SPEAKER_04First of all, he's not recording. He is liable to tackle his ass if he is.
SPEAKER_02He's a Democrat recruiter. You know, if he was Republican, I would have I would have signed up. No, I'm just kidding.
SPEAKER_04She's not kidding, y'all.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm just kidding. All right. This is episode 206, which means that we're doing the year 2006 and history. Well, entertainment news and stuff like that. I'm gonna start off with the TV shows because um there's literally like three shows that came out. Uh so we have the Bad Girls Club, House of Pain. Okay, did y'all know House of Pain is still coming on with new episodes? I did not know that. It keeps popping up on my feed, on my algorithm, and it's a lot like it's a lot different. Like the kids from House of Pain, the son has his own daughter now. Like it has all right, just mute up because you're breaking up.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I don't know what you got going on over there.
SPEAKER_02Um, yeah, the son has a kid, and and Calvin is on, like, about to be on his third marriage. Like, it's a lot going on, but all right.
SPEAKER_08Um I stopped watching when um the mother went on crack. Once once she went on crack, it's like, I had enough of this. It was too much going on.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. They ended up they and she ended up cleaning up herself and all of that, whatever, and they they're still married. Him and her and CJ are still married to each other.
SPEAKER_08Like that's a good man, Savannah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they're still good. But Calvin is the dark-skinned, fine ass one. He the one that was married to Rudy Huxtable, remember? And then now, like, the way it is now, well, she's her name is Miranda in the show. Now they're um they're not together anymore, and he's about to deal with this other woman that nobody in the family likes. Like, nobody likes this woman at all. His friends don't like her, the family don't like her. This is it's and I know all of this just from the the clips that they're showing on my feed. I don't I don't even watch it, but um I haven't watched it in so long. I didn't know it was still on.
SPEAKER_08I would have took that opportunity to get up out of there. You doing crack now? Yeah, I'm a high.
SPEAKER_16I said Malik was married to a whore. That's what I said. He had a baby, and his ex his girl was a stripper. I seen a few of the new episodes. My mom still be watching them.
SPEAKER_02Wait, who wait, what? Said it again.
SPEAKER_16Malik, he married a stripper. The the one you said, you can you believe the son got a kid now? Yeah, and it was a whole thing about him being with the girl who he had the kid with. She was a stripper, and the dad was like, Nah, you need to leave this girl alone. Like, it was going, they was going in. My mom still watches the show.
SPEAKER_02That's definitely that's different than the crack.
SPEAKER_16Well, yeah, his mother was a crackhead. His mother was a crackhead, and his his baby mom's a stripper that he married that his family didn't approve of. And then Miranda, you was talking about Calvin. You was like the dark-skinned one. Calvin, him and his shorty done went through it. He got with another one. He got with her friend, got married to her. It's mad shit going on. The right stripper could definitely get me.
SPEAKER_08Crackhead, no, hell no.
SPEAKER_16Then they said the right stripper could get me, but not a crackhead. Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but then if you together to do anything, if you together with somebody for mad years, you had two kids with them, and then they get addicted to crack. That's different than just dealing with a crackhead. That's a different nigga.
SPEAKER_16That's still a crackhead. I'm still out. I'm gone. That's a crackhead, bro.
SPEAKER_02I think they did like separate from he got back with Janine.
SPEAKER_16He got back with her.
SPEAKER_02He's backward. That's what I'm saying. She's clean now, she's healthier than ever, and they they're back together, happily married.
SPEAKER_08That's why he's not caught up on paradise over here watching House of Pain.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04He knows the names, he knows the names, the whole story.
SPEAKER_16I haven't watched it like that. My mom, when I ask her something, or if I go to her crib, she be watching it. My mom watched that. She watched, she still watched all her shows, House of Pain, all that stuff. All them Tyler Perry shows, she be watching all that. I love me some Tyler Perry.
SPEAKER_02Oh, and and for the uh Tyler Perry fans, I'll tell you. New girl?

SPEAKER_16Yeah, I think I think that's just hey, I'm not gay. Look at me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I love my I love my birthday twin, Tyler Perry, and all that, but he got like three alleged lawsuits out with some gay men, so it just made sense for him.
SPEAKER_16And to you pop out with a baddie, right? Yeah, yeah. For sure. For sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, but Beauty and the Black season two is out for everybody that actually watches Beauty and the Black.

SPEAKER_02It's it's crazy. What the fuck is going on? What kind of Tyler Perry show is this? Oh no, this is some different shit. This is like Tyler Perry's twist on like um I I don't even know how to say it, but it's a lot of.
SPEAKER_16I see he evolving after I watched that Joe shit, and I said, Oh my god. Right. Tyler Perry ain't never moved like this before.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_16Everything was wholesome and church songs, and they was finding some message about God. Now it was holes and pimps, and shut up, bitch, and you better keep your pimp hand strong. I was like, yo, this shit, it was funny as hell. But I was like, This is a little crazy.
SPEAKER_02I think you would like Beauty in the Black, Ali. It's on Netflix.
SPEAKER_16I think you would like to be like, I'm gonna check it out. I'm gonna check it out. Yeah, it's a lot going on in this show.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's good though. Like, I it's not a bad show. Um, they do have some, it's like it's it's a progressive show, so of course they have like some gay shit in there or whatever, but it's not everything that's that's like over after 2020 got some gay shit.
SPEAKER_16I feel like everybody gotta have a main gay character somehow, right?
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Um okay, the TV series. So I said Bad Girls Club, Hossipane, the game, uh, flavor of love, Dexter.
SPEAKER_08I'm scared to comment, right? I don't want to say nothing. Get through it down.

SPEAKER_16Yo, nah, it's a few songs like that. Ain't ain't ain't Maya uh ain't that Maya song like that?
SPEAKER_02That's crazy. I was right on point. That came out in 2008. That they know song, that remix was so fucking crazy. Like, you can remix it's hard. You can't play the original song, but the remix is never gang.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, nah, that shit wasn't hard. Remix was never um, it was never an official remix, but it was back then.
SPEAKER_02None of the songs that we listened, half of the songs we listened to weren't official with Lil Wayne, but like that song wasn't official, so it's not on like streaming platforms and shit like that, only the original, and that gets me so mad. If I want to hear, if you want to hear the remix, you gotta go on like YouTube or some shit like that. Because it was never on um official, it was never an official song, and that shit was hard. Like, I love I think T. I was on that remix too, right?
SPEAKER_13On the they know remix, yeah.
SPEAKER_08Cheese was on it, Plaja's on it.
SPEAKER_02Um facts, facts.
SPEAKER_16Lil Wayne, mad people was on that shit.
SPEAKER_08Hell yeah. That's when rappers used to rap.
SPEAKER_16Like, if they was like, Yeah, they love jumping on shit together.
SPEAKER_08Jumping on the hot song, yo.
SPEAKER_16Yep, like y'all had to be on that.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's like that.
SPEAKER_16That remember that DJ Calorie taking over?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_16Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Taking over.
SPEAKER_16Yo, everybody went hard on that shit, and then Lil Wayne ate everybody up.
SPEAKER_02Yo, remember when um um uh fat Joe recently told a story about that shit. Um, on the uh Yes, he on his podcast with uh he had the best verse.
SPEAKER_16He thinks he heard Wing. He said he knows he not the best rapper, but you know, sometimes he he be like, Oh, I got him on this one. Like, I know I got him. He said, Did he hear Wing? I am the beast.
SPEAKER_04Yo, and he was like, Oh my god. That nigga went in on that.
SPEAKER_16No, he went so hard on that. I complained on easy street. That was my change. Yo, that shit goes so hard, bro. That's one of my favorite verses.
SPEAKER_02You can't then that's when people fucked up when Wayne is always gonna go last. So don't ever think you got the best of anything until you hear Wayne's verse, and he's always gonna go last and he's gonna go crazy because he ate all them niggas up.
SPEAKER_16That shit was so hard.
SPEAKER_02Facts. Um, all right. The next one I got Young Jack is going down. Rick Ross hustling.
SPEAKER_15Every day I'm hustling.
SPEAKER_02Buster Rhymes, touch it. That's another song on the remix. It's better than the original.
SPEAKER_16Jim. That shit had like 12 remixes.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, dead ass. That's when that one. Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. This is around a time where remixes were better than the originals. Now people fuck remixes up. Like, it's like, oh nah, the original.
SPEAKER_13Don't even be the same song.
SPEAKER_02Like, yeah. Um, Sean Paul keeps the code, give it up to me.
SPEAKER_13Hey.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, that song went hard.
SPEAKER_02Bubba Sparks, Miss New Booty. Hey, I love that song. Booty booty booty booty rocking everywhere. Kingy pulling me back. Hey. God damn. Um, I got a couple more. I got a couple more, and I'm done. Jay-Z, show me what you got. Yeah, Bossy, Sierra, get up, Dustin Timberlake, my love. Lupe, Moneymaker, and last but not least, Lupe Fiasco Daydreaming.
SPEAKER_16Okay, that's on. Yo, Lupe, man, shout out to Lupe. Everybody be sleeping on him. Lupe was nice.
SPEAKER_02Now, Lupe was nice for sure. Lupe was nice.
SPEAKER_04He didn't say Billy. Shout out to Jim Scott on the course for that. Of course, you know. My girl.
SPEAKER_02He he just did something recently. Maybe last year, he did some shit. Of course, not gonna go nowhere, but I don't know. Go get me the line. Um, well, that's it for our 2006 year in history, guys. Entertainment history is that. Um, okay, so since we were talking about music and we were talking about Lil Wayne, uh, Lil Wayne recently uh released a statement saying that he would never do a versus unless it's mixtape Wheezy versus Lil Wayne mainstream. Which I thought that was a fly ass idea.
SPEAKER_04Like it's just Yeah, that would definitely go crazy.
SPEAKER_02Me versus me.
SPEAKER_13Mixtape Wheezy winning, though. It's some TI versus T I P shit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, it's T I versus T IP, but this Wayne Wheezy versus Wayne is shitting on that whole like mixtape.
SPEAKER_13It was definitely shit on that.
SPEAKER_02Okay, Wheezy is definitely winning because the simple fact that Hands down his all of his best songs are mixtape songs. Like all of No Ceilings. Soon as you hear.
SPEAKER_14No ceilings is one of the best mixtapes. Light of all time.
SPEAKER_02None of them shits was ever official. They were all on mixtapes. So it's like he got too much. Like when they were talking about Lil' Wayne, he hit like 150 songs in a year, and the year wasn't even over yet. Like a hundred of those, like 125 of those songs were mixtapes. So, like, none of them shit was official.
SPEAKER_16So nah, there's a lot of shit he did that was mad what that was all official too. He was on other people's shit too. When he took their beats, it wasn't official. When he jumped on the track, the remix was official.
SPEAKER_02No, a lot of those remixes that we fucked with was not official. That's why I've oh I always say that. I have to listen to them shits on YouTube. Anything that's not on streaming was never official. So when he did like the like I said, the Mario crying out for me, like that shit was not official.
SPEAKER_16That was no, no, that's a mixtape. That's not a real remix. That's a mixtape. That's not a real remix.
SPEAKER_02So what what what remix would you say?
SPEAKER_16Like I'm saying, like that year when he did that that shit, like uh that song with Jason DeRulo. That's all that year he did with that um that that white man. I can't remember the name, but all those songs that he did when he had that year and he was on on every remix, those was all legitimate songs. The mixtape ones, when he's doing on somebody else's beat, those are all mixtapes.
SPEAKER_02Now, I'm not talking about other beats, I'm talking about those remixes. 50, 60, 70% of those remixes were not official. He made he just made a remix himself. Like it wasn't something that he worked out with the artists. That's what I'm telling you. That was the year of 2008, 2009. I think it was one of those years. It was either 08 or 09 when he did all those remixes and shit like that. Half of the Chris Brown popping remix he did? That was fire. Yeah, that was not official either. None of them shits was official.
SPEAKER_04No, I think he's right. I don't remember them being like attainable. We had to go to search for them songs. Yeah, like that's what I'm saying. It was just remixing everybody's he was jack teasing it up. Yes, he was doing it himself.
SPEAKER_02He was making his own remix. He that shits was not, those was on. We was downloading those from Limewire. We wasn't that those weren't official songs.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you can't even find it on Apple.
SPEAKER_16I would say it's 7030. You're right, you're right. It's 7030. You're right. Most of it wasn't, most of it. I'm looking at it. I'm looking at it now. Most of the remixes that uh that they're mentioning are mixtape remixes, and then the ones that are official, it should like give me that with him and Chris Brown, uh, make it rain remix, the wasted remix, the Gucci, and you know what I'm saying? Like all of those are real official remixes, but it ain't it ain't nothing compared to what it's showing that's unofficial. You correct. All right, nigga, shut the fuck up. I said she was right. I wasn't saying wrong information, nigga. I'm saying that when it's a different, when it's on this person's beat, those weren't official, but we understand what you're saying, but what you're saying is wrong.
SPEAKER_08So time for you to mute up.
SPEAKER_16Whatever you say, nigga, it ain't wrong.
SPEAKER_02Yo, what he just said you was right, I was wrong.
SPEAKER_16I'm saying it's 70-30, you're right. But also, I'm looking at all the remixes, all the remixes that was that was legit, too. It was a lot. He just did a lot of fucking music. That's all.
SPEAKER_02He did a lot of music, that is correct. So uh, shout out to Wayne. Always. Shout out to Wayne. Um, but since we are talking about verses, we have a versus coming up this week, which is versus Tyrese, which will be this Thursday, March 26th at 8 30 p.m. I cannot wait. I cannot wait.
SPEAKER_04I love both artists. They're amazing voices. Yeah, that's gonna be fire. I love the RB versus Tank been in the game for years, years and years. Tyrese too, but Tank's voice is so like, yeah, I'm ready to see this.
SPEAKER_02Well, I I think that this is gonna come down to um song placement for real, for real, because they both have hits. Um, but it's gonna be one of those. It depends on what they play and how and what time they play it. Because Tyrese has his hits that are classic. Like Tyrese hits her classic, and Tank's hits are classics. Yeah, Tank got some shit. He got a whole lot of songs, but then he also has like songs that he wrote. You know what I'm saying? And then they got they got songs together like as TGT. So, you know, I don't know. This could go any way. I just think it's gonna be we're gonna win from this.
SPEAKER_16Like, like who had the best verse on these songs they did together? Like, the niggas about to play those.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, facts.
SPEAKER_16That'd be funny.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I can't wait. I will be tuned in. Um, and you know, we could talk about it in the next recording on episode 207. So, shout out to Tank and Tyrese, even though Tyrese has been weird lately. But let's see how he performs and all that. Let's see what he's doing. Oh no, my Shayla, what he been up to.
SPEAKER_08I'm going with Tank, by the way. That's gonna be my prediction.
SPEAKER_02I muted Tyrese on all platforms.
SPEAKER_16Tyrese. I'm going with Tyrese.
SPEAKER_02I don't know what that man up to. I muted him everywhere because he was pissing me off. Um, and more music news. Uh rapper Lotto announced that she is pregnant. Big Lotto. She has an album coming out soon as well. She also dropped a single called Um. Oh, fuck me. I don't even know. Um, Big Difference. No, that's Nicki Minaj.
SPEAKER_13Um my God. This nigga says Nicki Minaj.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think that first of all You said Big Difference. I'm sorry. Um first of all, shout out to Lotto. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
SPEAKER_04Yes, congratulations, girl.
SPEAKER_02I I see I love I love the fact when um I love the fact that I know people talk shit and they hate when women celebrities specifically hide their pregnancy and stuff like that. But like, why do y'all give a fuck so bad? Like, let her enjoy her pregnancy. Let her, you know, like your first trimester is very, yeah, it's very, it's a very sensitive time, you know. You have a lot going on. It could be going very well, or it could be going very wrong or whatever. But like, I've been seeing all the things that people are saying about her, and it is so bad because it's it's just like you're not just talking about her, you're talking about her womb, you're talking about her unborn child. Like, they're they're saying so many nasty things, and it's just like, so what the fuck is wrong with people? Like, okay, I get it. All right, 20 she's uh allegedly pregnant by 21 Savage, right? He's allegedly married to someone.
SPEAKER_08He's definitely married, not allegedly.
SPEAKER_02Okay, he is married. Um but I thought they said years ago this was an arranged marriage, like for his citizenship, because he's not a U.S. citizen.
SPEAKER_08That sounds about right. I don't know how much truth it is to that, but it definitely sounds about right.
SPEAKER_02You know, so like, and then I seem like his wife liked her announcement, her pregnancy announcement. So I don't know what's going on behind closed doors. Right, right. I'm not one to you guys know how I feel about marriage and shit like that. Like, I don't I don't play with that. And I just I just I don't know their situation. You know what I'm saying? I don't know anything. So everything that everyone is saying is just assumptions and assumptions and gossip and and you know what I'm saying? Like things that nobody knows for sure. But either way, she's still having a baby, and it's like saying the nasty things that people are saying, like that shit is such a turn off. And I just feel bad. Like, that's just unnecessary. Like, she hated this long. She looks like she's about to damn near give birth at this point. Like, so you know, I just wish her a healthy and happy pregnancy and um a birth, you know. I hope she has a beautiful, healthy baby. Yes, once she does give birth.
SPEAKER_04Um, people need some mind a damn business.
SPEAKER_08I think they're they're just projecting, like, they can't say that to the homegirls in the group chat.
SPEAKER_04So yeah, they're just saying it about a lot. They be so bothered, like, leave Lotto alone. Right. I wouldn't give a damn if she was 21, 22, 23.
SPEAKER_02I even if honestly, this woman is not like our average person that's doing it. Like, she this little woman is rich and she's successful, and she's under the age of 30, and she has so much going on for herself. She was able to take care of her entire family from her success. Like, yeah, she has she's having a baby. Give a fucking girl a break. My job business. Damn. Um, but she has a lot of y'all. I wish you the best, man. Wish you the best. Uh, I can't wait to hear the music, also. It sounds pretty good. I'm not gonna lie. Yeah, I really like having this. Yeah, I like it. Um also. I heard some new Rick Ross that Mark sent to the group chat.
SPEAKER_08Oh, that should sound tough.
SPEAKER_02Y'all want me to play a little bit of it?
SPEAKER_08I fuck with Ross, how do you? I love Rose.
SPEAKER_02Give me a second, let me pull it up.
SPEAKER_08This is Ross featuring um Max B in French Montana.
SPEAKER_02It's called Minx in Miami.
SPEAKER_16Oh, is it yawning? Ross Slow. Ross fire, bro. I don't care. I like I forgot.
SPEAKER_02Leave me alone. I've got a grandma. Shut up.
SPEAKER_04She was yawning. Yeah, she was yawning.
SPEAKER_02I knew I heard something. That's what I'm saying. Nobody caught it, but Mark always wanted to make it hot. Like, come on, I could have edited out with that yawn. Like, it didn't have to be known. Leave me alone. I'm a hardworking woman, all right.
SPEAKER_08Oh, please. You sound like your father, boy. You definitely a grandma.
SPEAKER_02All right, here we go. Minks in Miami, Rick Ross featuring French Montana and Max B.
SPEAKER_10One of those moments.
unknownLet's go.
SPEAKER_10Minks in Miami, so you know that I'm a winner. Kill my little man, so you know I gotta get a losing on my homies, gotta be living with regrets. Let's win, so we get a party.
SPEAKER_11Let's go celebrate God is a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Y'all hear the gist of it. Y'all hear what's going on. Y'all see what the fuck is going on. That little piece sounded I I okay, I'm gonna be honest with y'all. Can I be honest with y'all? I absolutely love the song. However, I am really disappointed in Max B is part of this song. Like, I feel like he fucks up the song for me. I love Max B. I appreciate Max B. Um But Rick, like this is like, this is like Teflon Don is type shit with Rick Ross. Like, this is a great song from Rick. I love it. I love the flow. I love, you know what I'm saying? I love the beat. I love how he's I I love how he's stepping on the beat. Like, I love all of that. Like, it just sounds like a great Rick Ross song. And then Max B comes on and it sounds like he recorded this in jail. And it's not even like it's not it just doesn't, it doesn't these like this is not the song for Rick Ross and Max B to be on together, if that makes sense. I don't know. What do y'all think?
SPEAKER_13So you don't like none of Max B new shit, huh?
SPEAKER_08I didn't want to be the dead horse, so I keep saying get him the fuck out of here. Y'all was talking about this free Max B shit. This nigga be putting out trash.
SPEAKER_02No, I didn't say I didn't like none of his new songs. I don't like this.
SPEAKER_08No, you haven't liked anything he put out. He put out a whole project.
SPEAKER_16Every time we talk about something that he put out, you you be shit.
SPEAKER_02That's not true. That is that's just the first time I've said that. Mark didn't like his music. I didn't say I didn't like the other song that he had.
SPEAKER_08I don't like anything he put out so far. It's been garbage.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that was that definitely wasn't me.
SPEAKER_08I did not Ross smoked it though.
SPEAKER_02Uh he smoked.
SPEAKER_16You always smoke it though.
SPEAKER_02Now see, now y'all gonna make me play it again.
SPEAKER_16Ross I'm definitely gonna get a version with phone on the beat. Ross his flow is really is just it's different. His cadence is different.
SPEAKER_04I didn't hear all the max B's.
SPEAKER_02I'ma I'ma start again. I'm I'm not gonna start it over, but I just want y'all to hear, like, just hear the the transition from from Rick Ross to Max B.
SPEAKER_10Lost the dark first. Stop I refuse to take a loss. Into the money, and I hope it lasts forever. Only at the top, but life could be better. Death in New Orleans mentioned in the French quarter. Oh my Jews on me like the letter Rick Porter.
SPEAKER_01Got New York City back read. We did a lot of wrong things for the right reason. So it took the clothes off before I put the house in. Hanging from the start, I forget about that. Slowly at the top of that's where the penthouse is. I might just hit Dubai and forget about rap. But my boys got the box, I'ma take a town that had plus the national.
SPEAKER_02Y'all get what I'm saying? Like, it's it's such a dope song with Red Cross and French Fontana. Yeah, French.
SPEAKER_16I forgot how much I like French on the track.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, French will be killing it for real.
SPEAKER_02It's just and I I it's like they they didn't even give this nigga a verse. They gave him a hook.
SPEAKER_04And it's even like it's yeah, I'm like, damn, he he he little Negro spiritual hook he did. Yeah, yeah, it could have did without it, definitely. Yeah, that's I'm not mad at it though. I'm not mad at it, but definitely could have did without it.
SPEAKER_02I'm happy that it's just a hook. That's what I'm saying. Like, I'm just happy it's a hook. Cause that shit is hard. Like, I really fuck with this. I was just I was listening to it in the car, and I'm like, yo, this shit is hard. And then I like that beat. Max Park came on, I was like, huh? Alright. Alright, it's only a hook back to the book. I fuck with it overall. Nah I I I love I I really like this song. I feel like it's hard as hell. Like, I I fuck with Ross and and French Montaire and I'm glad to hear that they back. Um Max B, he's just a little rusty, maybe. He just he just a little rusty, that's all. That's all I'm gonna say. Maybe he just, you know, I I I don't know. I don't know, but I do, I do like overall I like the song. I do enjoy the song, so shout out to them. I enjoy that shit. Okay, uh, what else do I have in music that I want to talk about? Um let's see, let's see, let's see, let's see what we got, what we got, what we got. Um, damn our whole list is damn damn near music.
SPEAKER_08Um just like music.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Y'all wanna talk about the game?
SPEAKER_04Let's go.
SPEAKER_02Well, do you guys know what's going on with the game? Why the the the game is in the blogs this week?
SPEAKER_08I've seen them all in the all in the DMs.
SPEAKER_04Okay, yeah, I've seen that.
SPEAKER_08I know she's not yawning again.
SPEAKER_02Yo, stop cop calling me out. Yo, nobody's even sleeping it. Gosh. Um, the game is is is going viral because a lot of women have been um exposing their DMs with their interaction with the game because he's using the same pickup lines for all the women that he's DMing. And I believe the DM starts off, he'll put F3.
SPEAKER_04That nigga said red rose, white celid. What was his rap picture?
SPEAKER_16He said that shit for like three years. He said it to everybody, he's been doing it.
SPEAKER_02Responded like, huh? Or what's that? Or he'll say, Oh, my bad, I saw a snack. I thought this was a vending machine. And he said it to so many different women, and you know, I guess a woman, somebody like, you know, released a screenshot, and then other woman was like, Wait, he said that to me too. He gotta be stopped.
SPEAKER_16He really enabled it. Did y'all see what he said? He said he's gonna retire F3 and F4 coming soon.
SPEAKER_02So I'm gonna toss this over to well, I'm gonna toss it over to fake ass laugh. Do y'all um as men, do y'all use the same pickup lines with the women, or do you try to switch it up? Or I mostly mark. I least married, he's been married his whole adult.
SPEAKER_08Nah, let him snitch on himself.
SPEAKER_16I don't I ain't gonna snitch on it. I was about to say, I don't really believe in pickup lines. I just think that you just vibe.
SPEAKER_02He's been in a married since he was 18, 19, he's been with the same woman. So he don't have this type of experience. I'm talking to you, the single man who was dating out here.
SPEAKER_15Nigga Mark always trying to give me the going up every week.
SPEAKER_08Every week. But no, I don't I don't even be hopping in no DMs and using no pickup lines.
SPEAKER_16That's what I'm saying. I don't think nobody really got pickup lines. I think if you got that juice, you just vibe.
SPEAKER_02Well, Mark said he's not a DM, a DM chaser, so that's different because most men now they're in the DMs. Most single men in 2026, it's a DM, it's Instagram, it's I hear that they've been hearing a story.
SPEAKER_16They wait till they get home and DM you, like, yo, I saw you.
SPEAKER_08That's the craziest shit ever to me.
SPEAKER_04No, because also a little scary too. Yeah, that it's I saw you, like what?
SPEAKER_16Yeah, where and when why you ain't say nothing?
SPEAKER_08I'd rather rather just shoot my shot in person.
SPEAKER_02No, I've I've seen yes, I've I've gotten DMs like that. Yo, I just seen you, and I'll be like, wait, why would you tell me this now on the internet? Like, if you see me in person, now it's mad creepy because that means you had your eye on me outside and didn't say nothing. Like, just watching. Just watching that is very weird, yes. But not, you know, it's the DM game is crazy. Like, I I said this before on the podcast, because now it's a meme that goes viral now that all the women be sharing.
SPEAKER_13It goes down in the DMs.
SPEAKER_02My ex, I remember one time I went through my ex's phone, and I'm looking at his shit, and he was in everybody's DMs. But a lot of them, he was getting rejected.
SPEAKER_04So it's just like no you bummy.
SPEAKER_02You weird as hell, like you out here getting rejected in the DMs. Like you not even, you don't even got the source. Like, you just you got and he's literally saying the same thing to everybody. So that's that was my That's crazy. It's like he was doing copy and paste to seeing what hits, like going to every DM. Like, hey beautiful, hey beautiful, hey beautiful, hey beautiful, hey beautiful. I'm like, yo, this nigga like.
SPEAKER_13Wait, niggas really do that?
SPEAKER_02Yes. Can I get some of your time pretty? Like, what?
SPEAKER_13I'm like, yo, you are a oh nah, that's corny as hell.
SPEAKER_02You are lame. And girls, like, stop hitting me up.
SPEAKER_13He should have used an F3.
SPEAKER_02Leave me alone.
SPEAKER_16Stop hitting me up is crazy. That's so funny.
SPEAKER_02Or he was one of those, he was one of those that was like hitting you up, like oh well, only the ladies that's listening can relate, but ladies, he was one of those guys that will just be in your DMs talking to himself and you not even responding. Yo, well, good morning, pretty. Yo, I hope you have a good day. Oh, you was looking nice. Oh, and you not saying a word back, they just keep talking about it.
SPEAKER_08That be working sometimes.
SPEAKER_13I seen it. That's crazy. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_02When I seen that shit, I was like, yo, you're a fucking cornball. Like, that is it's not even like I would rather have seen you was actually getting lucky with this.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, you know what I'm saying? It's different when you see boy a loser versus he that nigga.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's what, man. I was like, nah, you was a thirsty ass.
SPEAKER_16I feel like you get in less trouble when they see that you that nigga versus versus.
SPEAKER_02Nah, it's gonna be a problem either way, but it just it just hurt different when you like, like, what the fuck is you doing out here? Like, you just thirsty for no like you that bored? Like, you really that bored when I'm not around that you just hitting a random hose on Instagram and and talking to yourself? Like, you need a hobby, nigga.
SPEAKER_04Crazy. Uh-uh. Niggas is crazy.
SPEAKER_02But shared to the game, and it'd be the niggas like the game that look that good, that got money. Like, he's a he's very handsome.
SPEAKER_13Anything's gonna work for him.
SPEAKER_02He's very handsome, he got riz in person, like from what I know. And how you know that? Because he I listened to him too. He sounds good, like he could talk you out of your drawers.
SPEAKER_16And she did go to she did go to Cali.
SPEAKER_02But that's not even like the shit that he said is actually funny. Like, if I would have seen that, I would be like, oh, that's cute. But the it's the fact that he's saying it to everybody because he knows it works. That's the thing that makes it like, okay, my nigga, like you say this to everybody, like that's when it's like, uh, but now you're corny. Like, you don't gotta be corny like that. Like, you really don't. That's kind of whatever.
SPEAKER_04You don't gotta do all that. I just feel like it's fine with a regular conversation.
SPEAKER_13If you're naturally funny, she gonna she gonna vibe with you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_13That's what it was. They win it.
SPEAKER_02That's what I'm saying. That shit would make me laugh if I seen it. I'll be like, oh, that's funny, because I've never heard it before. Especially like the corny shit is when guys will put use a pickup line in your DM, that's like, oh, like that's that's you've heard before, like back in the day, and they just using it to see if it works. That's what it's like.
SPEAKER_16Oh, did it did it hurt? Did what hurt? Nigga, you better not say what I think you're about to say next. When you fell from all right, nigga, get out of here.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. Shit like that, it's like, okay, you're corny, because it's like something I've heard before. But if it's something brand new that that's our first time hearing, and I laugh, and it's like, even if it's a little corny, it's like, oh, that's cute.
SPEAKER_16You have only 10 IC all right, bro. Come on, bro.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, facts. Facts, facts, facts. Okay, um, I actually have to play a clip, so let me get my clip ready. Let me get my clip ready real fast. Clip it up.
SPEAKER_08I ain't gonna do it.
SPEAKER_02Y'all gotta learn how to hold it down when I'm looking for a clip. God damn, y'all.
SPEAKER_04I'm in that red rose white ceiling.
SPEAKER_02Y'all hate each other. God damn.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, man, it's just work. Wait, uh, this nigga said, yeah, it's just work. I really do hate these niggas. This shit is work.
SPEAKER_02Okay, um, recently, uh, Cam and Mace on It Is What It Is, they interviewed uh rapper Shine. And I'm not gonna play the whole clip, but they were discussing what happened with Brandy and everything. They were discussing more.
SPEAKER_09Cameron's so annoying.
SPEAKER_02Cameron is so messy, but Cameron mentions the fact that Mace and Shine were allegedly dating Brandy at the same time. So let me play a part of the clip. I'm not gonna play, it's like two minutes. I'm not gonna play the whole thing.
SPEAKER_07Let's just do it. Let's do it. Who was dealing with Brandy? Okay, let me switch my glasses so far.
SPEAKER_09How'd it go?
SPEAKER_15I was special, you know.
SPEAKER_00He was the he was the champion, he was the MVP, I was Kobe, no pun intended, because they said Kobe was a special friend of Branners as well. Right. But um no pun intended, right? But I was coming out of high school on the championship time, and he was the the superstar of the time. Right. But I definitely did um want to be special. I I definitely you know, but I had no idea. So what happened is we had a mutual friend who was a snitch. Okay. So I'm I'm not I I think you know who it is. Right. All right, hold on.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna play the whole clip because y'all gonna need the context. So let me keep going.
SPEAKER_00I'm not gonna um expose him, but so I was so excited because this is my dream uh personal right. I'm talking about brandy. Brandy, right, poor kid, Brooklyn, uh watching MTV, watching Moesha, watching her on DT, and you know, as a dreamer, I'm like, man, if I ever, if she if she was the notion, I got that right. So when I came up, uh she was in the cross. Like, uh, you know, I was sniping.
SPEAKER_06Right.
SPEAKER_00And um, yeah, I had no idea though, because he was like, so I was running that that playbook so discreetly, so quietly, I had no idea what sniper I was an ultra ultra sniper, um, but I was so excited, right? So I kept telling one of our mutual friends, and he was snitching me out, and then so Brandy was like, Yo, who you told you here? Right, how how so-and-so noted that you here with me right now, and I'm like, Oh, right.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so that was Shine telling his version of him and Mace both dating Brandy at the same time. Um, from the sound of it, Mace was her main guy that she was dealing with.
SPEAKER_15Her special friend.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, her special friend, and and Shine was just like the little side piece or whatever.
SPEAKER_13Someone off the bench.
SPEAKER_02He didn't want nobody to know about, but Shine was so happy and excited that he was pillow talking and running his mouth that they ended up finding out that they both dealing with Brandy at the same time. And if you listen, he did throw Kobe in there. Because I remember that being a rumor that she was dating Kobe. If y'all remember, she took him to the to promise on the show too. Yeah, rest in peace, Kobe. He was he he made an appearance on Moesha and all of that. Like, yeah, so um that's who he took to prom. Oh yeah, Moesha, uh Brandy, she was that girl, you know what I'm saying? Like, she had it going on. That's all everybody loved her little chocolate ass. And that's all now. Moving forward, and this is why it gets so messy with me, because it's like, god damn, y'all don't gotta tell you.
SPEAKER_08That's what I'm saying. That is corny.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, shiny.
SPEAKER_16Nobody's supposed to know that you clip. You that's how you stop. You you can't clip no more, you just ruined it.
SPEAKER_02But if you look, Mace didn't really say much.
SPEAKER_16Mace was the only one. Mace was just mad smooth. He said, I was a special friend, and that's it. Mace was just laughing. He's so smooth, bro. His voice is funny as hell. CC. Like laughing it off. And camera, yeah. What happened? What happened? Yeah, Camera told me.
SPEAKER_02And then Shine just looked like he was so ready to tell the story. Like, he couldn't wait. Like, this is the reason why you got caught up in the first place because you couldn't shut your mouth. And here it is 20 years later, you still running your fucking mouth.
SPEAKER_04Still running your mouth. Brandy said, I don't know nothing about that. Sorry to this man.
SPEAKER_02Ray J got a hold of this clip, and y'all know Ray J is a crash out. And Ray J don't play that shit with his sister. He does not play with his sister. And this is what Ray J said on his show.
SPEAKER_16Never heard that shit before.
SPEAKER_02It's five minutes long, so I can't play the whole thing, but here we go.

SPEAKER_16Y'all niggas looking real attractive. So when I see you, you better not have your skirts up or pull your, he said, put your panties up, nigga. I'm trying to hit it from the back like this. And that nigga started humping the air. That nigga Ray J is the demonic. That nigga is different, bro.
SPEAKER_02I I'm not, I honestly, I know it's easy to get lost in translation with him talking about the gay shit, but everybody knows that's what Ray J does. He's been doing that shit for years. He's gonna threaten you. He's gonna threaten you with some gay shit. Yeah, he's gonna do that. But at the end of the day, the message is loud and clear. Like, he's trolling, but he's all you could tell he's also dead ass serious. Like, my nigga, if y'all some grown ass men and y'all sitting around talking about my sister, my sister's also a fucking legend. Like, don't get it twisted. Like, she's still the fucking Brandy.
SPEAKER_16Like, yeah, and y'all being hoes up here pillow talking.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, y'all sitting here like a bunch of little fucking girls, y'all up here gossiping about my sister from something years ago.
SPEAKER_16Like so the AI video he put up of them?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I seen that shit, but then like I said, I'm not mad at that. I don't give a fuck about the gay the gay shit. Don't matter. The nigga been doing it. Like, I don't care about the gay shit. It's it's crazy, it's outlandish, but it's like, regardless of what he's saying, and then you understand. If he said, like, let's just be clear, let's just put things in perspective. People not gonna take him real seriously because he starts talking about gay shit, right? But if he was to go in there, like, yo, I'm gonna find y'all niggas, I'm gonna shoot y'all niggas, I'm gonna have niggas jump y'all, da da da da da. They're gonna talk about yo, you a clown. Because even if you are doing it, why are you putting on the internet? You know what I'm saying? So Ray J knows what to say, he knows what to do, like he's that type of person. Like, he's been doing this for so many years. Ray J knows what the fuck is going on. He called himself a journalist, he lost me. I don't know what kind of journalist he is, but I I'm not mad at Ray J. Defend your sister. Like, I don't give a fuck about nothing that they're talking about. Like, that was some bullshit. Like, I hate the way that the industry likes to play with Brandy. You know what I'm saying? Like, you still fucking need Brandy.
SPEAKER_04Like, she's not that girl. Like, what? Don't play with my girl.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like what are we talking about? You hear all three of these niggas up there obsessed with her. Like, they saying it, like, yo, she was fucking popping. Like, trying to saying, yo, I was a poor ass kid. I wish like that was my dream to be able to get next to Brandy. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, come on now, what are we talking about? So, yeah, don't be up there ill talking about my sister, nigga. Fuck is y'all talking about? Like, for real.
SPEAKER_04That shit was unnecessary, baby.
SPEAKER_02I'm not mad. Ray just said, I'm a fuck your mom, your sister, your I'ma fuck your daddy. He said, What type of shit?
SPEAKER_16Like that nigga said dead homes. He was dead ass, bro. I I'm waiting for I waited for now.
SPEAKER_02See, this, I'm actually waiting for the response from Cam and Mits. Because I know that's gonna be fucking home.
SPEAKER_16They they put a little response like base something like they ain't they ain't entertaining his ass, basically.
SPEAKER_07Did they?
SPEAKER_16Yeah.
SPEAKER_07I didn't see that.
SPEAKER_16Hold on, let me go back. Let me pull it up.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I didn't I didn't see a response from them yet. I've been waiting for the response. Mark, you heard a response?
SPEAKER_08No, I didn't.
SPEAKER_02But what you what what you what you gotta say about this situation?
SPEAKER_08I don't got shit to say about it. Like, I'm all for you know standing up for your sister, but the gay shit is just like, come on, yo, this is outlandish. Yeah, like what are we doing here?
SPEAKER_04What does that nigga say? Make sure you have your mouth open.
SPEAKER_02Yo let me see.
SPEAKER_15Somebody else should have told you this.
SPEAKER_07Who plays him?
SPEAKER_02No, I'm trying. No, I was just trying to find now. I don't see no response from them. I don't see I don't see them say anything.
SPEAKER_08But um wrong again, goddamn.
SPEAKER_02I don't see them saying anything. But um, nah, shout out to Brandy though, man. That brandy's a oh my gosh, I love me some brandy. She's gonna be a good one.
SPEAKER_16Oh, y'all look at when they posted three days ago, we thought somebody said something. They was making fun of that nigga. Does anybody take Ray J seriously? Wrong again, nothing, nigga.
SPEAKER_02Will you say that? I see what I mean.
SPEAKER_16They was they was laughing at hinting, like, man, ain't nobody paying attention to Ray J or the one with the one that says we thought somebody says something. Yeah, I think they were just laughing at him. Keep reading or keep listening.
SPEAKER_02I heard the whole thing. I just listened to it.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, they basically saying, like, yo, we they not paying no attention to this nigga. Like, nobody worrying about Ray J. We thought somebody said something, laughed it off, ate some popcorn, and just shrugged that nigga off.
SPEAKER_02Hold on, let me I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna play this for y'all because they have a podcast and they talk about a lot of shit. This is a clip from whatever they was talking about. I don't I don't I don't see nothing about it being like a response to Ray J.
SPEAKER_16I think it's just it's not a response. They're not responding. We thought somebody said something. They laughing at that nigga. They're just like, all right, the show goes on.
SPEAKER_02But that's what I'm saying. Why are you assuming that they laughing at Ray J in that video? Like, what makes you think that? That's my question.
SPEAKER_16Like, what what what is it was right after Ray J did all that wild shit?
SPEAKER_02No, it wasn't. This is three days ago.
SPEAKER_16Didn't that shit happen three days ago? No. When did it happen? Four days ago.
SPEAKER_10How are you doing, man?
SPEAKER_07Oh crazy, man. All right.
SPEAKER_09That's okay, no response. He's supposed to be exactly then he fights he judged.
SPEAKER_08What if you did converse?
SPEAKER_09I need to clean. Do you have my money, Nick? Could you bring it in?
SPEAKER_02It's mad video because that happened. It's nothing.
SPEAKER_09They what I was gonna say, murder, it's just that oh man. You know what I said like three times.
SPEAKER_02No, what you originally said, we're gonna hear it on the playback. You said keep listening. They said nobody gonna fuck with that nigga Ray J talking about. I said, wait a minute. I just listened to that.
SPEAKER_16I didn't say I didn't say that.
SPEAKER_02I said that they say nobody gives a fuck what they talking about.
SPEAKER_16They're ignoring him, they're ignoring the thing. I said when did they say that?
SPEAKER_02You said keep listening to the shit. I said I just listened to the whole thing. I didn't hear none of that. That's a clip of them laughing. He said, Yo, they laughing at Ray J.
SPEAKER_07What the fuck? Yo, nah, you can't make it scream.
SPEAKER_13You say so.
SPEAKER_16But if you look in the comments, that's all they talking about is Ray J.
SPEAKER_08Now we gotta look at the comments.
SPEAKER_16Um yeah, ask me a question. I agree.
SPEAKER_02My original statement, they did not respond to Ray J. That's just my original statement. They didn't record.
SPEAKER_08No response, they shrugged them off. No, I think it's I think it's coming, though. I think it's gonna come.
SPEAKER_02It is gonna come, they're gonna respond, and that's why I said it. He keeps saying I said the same. No, you didn't. That's why you're gonna hear it on the play. But the nigga said they did respond, they released something this week. What do you mean? You said it. This is recorded, you're gonna hear it on the playback, my nigga. You said that.
SPEAKER_16You're gonna hear me say their response is no response. No, you're gonna hear me say that no nigga. You said that they shrugged the nigga off. They not responded to that.
SPEAKER_02That wasn't your that was yo, let's let just let the playback play. Well, you y'all hear this shit, y'all gonna say, yo, key was fucking right. And Mark.
SPEAKER_08Did y'all see your response?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, did y'all see that?
SPEAKER_08There was no response.
SPEAKER_02I said, Mark, did you hear something? Mark said, No, I ain't hear no response. I said, Okay, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_08I was excited. I'm like, yo, hold on, what I miss.
SPEAKER_02Right, that's why I stopped to look at it. Like, what wait, what did I miss? How did I miss the response? The fuck, because that shit is gonna go viral. I know it is.
SPEAKER_16They're not gonna respond to that nigga.
SPEAKER_02If they whether if they do, it will go viral. It wouldn't be a question that they responded. We would have all knew that they responded to that shit. Because that shit is fucking crazy. Um, but anyway, moving on. So uh, oh, we didn't even talk about Jay-Z. Oh my gosh. Wow, this lady is so we're bringing up Jay-Z. Mark, I'll let I'll let you, I'll let you uh, I'll let you intro this one.
SPEAKER_08Uh Jay-Z just announced two shows. Uh, July 10th, July 11th is gonna be the 30th year anniversary of Reasonable Doubt. Um, the other one's gonna be the 25th year anniversary of the blueprint. And this shit is about to be fucking crazy.
SPEAKER_02Just these two shows. It's not a tour, it's not a nope, it's just a one-off.
SPEAKER_08That's it.
SPEAKER_02That's it for each one in Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
SPEAKER_08Yankee Stadium. I can't. Uh, I really need to get these tickets now.
SPEAKER_02Right now, they're just showing like pre-sale tickets if you're a Citibank card member, which who the fuck has Citibank?
SPEAKER_08I don't know. I've been asking around, like, yo, you got I'm like one of them scammers. Like, oh, you got City Bank.
SPEAKER_02This nigga's dumb. I've been asking around for real.
SPEAKER_08I'm trying to be there for real.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that that's gonna be legendary. I I wish, oh my gosh, I'm so mad. There's so much I'm gonna miss in July, but I'm not gonna be around in July. So I'm I'm really sad about it, but you know, it is what it is.
SPEAKER_04Um, some things happen in July, baby.
SPEAKER_02Big things happen. Yeah, July is it's gonna be a great July's gonna be a great month this year. God willing. Everything works out, it's gonna be a great month in July. Um, but yeah, I cannot believe like this is this is like his history right now. Like I don't remember I don't remember the last time. I think the last Jay-Z concert was well, he was doing the on the run with um Beyonce, but it was it was just their music together. But the last like Jay-Z shit was the um um Jay-Z and um, oh my god, how am I drawing a blank?
SPEAKER_08It's been over a decade to see that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's individually, it's it's it's been over a decade. But who who was that last it oh the Jay was it Jay-Z and Mary J Blige shit? Like, what was who was the track?
SPEAKER_08Um I know he did he did a B side show, but that was another one-off.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_08Um, before that, it might have been him and uh Justin Timberlake.
SPEAKER_02Um, that's not that's not what I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_08Um I mean, I'm at MM. I'm not M M.
SPEAKER_02But damn, it's been a long time.
SPEAKER_08It's been a minute, yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's it's been a minute, so um, this is definitely exciting. He's also going to be headlighting the roots picnic this year.
SPEAKER_04So yes, I've seen that.
SPEAKER_02That's another one if you remember.
SPEAKER_04The names on that list.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, if you guys can't do it's not gonna be the same, but um, you know, uh, it is if you can't get to to the Jay-Z concert. I mean, if you want to see him perform, he is gonna be headlining the roots picnic. Uh Jay-Z and the Roots, um, Erica Badu, Kaylani, Brandy, T.I., Mariah the Scientist.
SPEAKER_04It was just so good already.
SPEAKER_02Um, Jermaine Depree and Friends, so that could be anybody. De LaSoul, Corinne Bailey Ray, uh, Destin Conrad.
SPEAKER_08Um Love Destin. Yeah, that's my boy right there.
SPEAKER_02DJ Jazzy, Jess's magnificent block party, a celebration of 50 years of go-go, Yolanda Adams, Mark Braxton, from the Yolanda. Um it's gonna, it's gonna be it's gonna be crazy. So um, shout out to Jay-Z. That's gonna be May 30th through the 31st. So, um, yeah, that's the roots picnic. So, yeah, I I I think that this is amazing. You know, everybody, you never realize how many Jay-Z pe uh fans there are out there. Like, it we niggas love Jay-Z.
SPEAKER_08Like, oh my god, it's gonna be really hard to get these tickets, yo.
SPEAKER_02It's gonna be hard to get these tickets, and these these tickets are gonna be expensive as fuck. These tickets are going to be expensive.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I was complaining for Beyonce's, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Nah, deadass. Deadass. Yeah, yeah, for real. And this is a one-off, like Mark said, like, it's not like it's a tour, it's just a one-time thing, like for each show. So, what would y'all pick, right? If you could only pick one, are you gonna which one would you go to?
SPEAKER_08Oh man, this is tough. I've been going back and forth, but I think I'm leaning towards the blueprint. Because um, I seen them before him a couple times. It obviously wasn't, you know, the whole album, but the songs from the blueprint just rings off better in like in stadiums and arenas, right? Like when he played Takeover, when he played Renegade, when he plays You Don't Know, like that shit go so stupid.
SPEAKER_02Right, right, right. Damn, that's a tough decision, but I would I would probably go with blueprint too. Because I know he's not just gonna play songs only from the blueprint, it's gonna because super ugly isn't on the blueprint, right?
SPEAKER_08No, takeovers on it, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But super ugly is like an unofficial diss track, like it's not official, so he's gonna have to play that shit too.
SPEAKER_08Like, that's nah, he's not gonna play because they they're cool now, so they just spots the big nah.
SPEAKER_02He gotta play that, man. For four thousand dollar tickets, nigga. You gotta play that shit. I don't give a fuck. What the food you fool. I don't give a fuck. Um, nah, but that's gonna be that's legendary, man. I already know that's gonna be crazy. And I know as soon as some tickets go up, it's gonna go down.
SPEAKER_04So best of luck, Mark. I hope. I'm gonna have to be on the reasonable doubt side, y'all. Not mad at them. I had to pop the album up. I love Dead Presidents 2. That's one of my favorite Jay-Z songs. He got Ain't No Nigga with Foxy Brown, killed it. That D Evils, like what?
SPEAKER_08I think I like that album better overall, but it's just more like laid back and more grip.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. I know exactly what you mean, though. Blueprint on on them speakers, like with the lights, the effects, definitely. But dang, shit.
SPEAKER_08It's tough. I'm happy with either one. There's gotta be in the building. Yeah, either one is just amazing.
SPEAKER_16It's a there's nothing you could do about it, but the blueprint, I just feel like he it just sounds more confident. The way he's speaking is just it's just different. I don't J-Z is just one of those rappers that no matter how you feel, you gotta put him at the top of your list, man.
SPEAKER_02That's a fact.
SPEAKER_16You got to. You gotta put him at the top. If it's a chance that you can see him, you gotta take that, man. You gotta go for it. Cause fool. That's that's that's gonna be epic. The Yankee Stadium is gonna be packed for sure.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I don't care how much it is.
SPEAKER_16I'm gonna seen my homegirl posted a uh a picture asking if anybody trying to go with her. It was like 14, 14.50 to like 17 something, just for I think it was behind what what what base was it? Let me see if she still got it up. Well, it was like$1,500. Yeah, that's fake.
SPEAKER_08Whatever she posted is fake because it's tickets not even on sale yet. Oh, so she's bullshitting? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02No, she's probably not, she's probably not bullshit. She just probably just got caught up in a fake screenshot or some shit. Like, because it's not on sale yet.
SPEAKER_08Um keep clicking on ticket master, like they posted it, but it's no prices or anything on there yet.
SPEAKER_02No, it's not up yet. But um, one of my favorite songs is um Renegade. So, yeah, that's the only reason why I was gonna get it. Renegade was so crazy.
SPEAKER_16That song is so hard, bro.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I love Renegade.
SPEAKER_16So hard.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Shout out to Jay-Z, man. Glad to glad to see him back performing and shit like that. And you know, this just goes to my um my theory that you know Rock Nation is conspiring against me because I'm a Nikki fan. Um, because I just understand why would you do all this shit in July when y'all niggas know I can't go? So I'll just feel away. And you know, it's cool. Can I live? Right. No pun intended, nigga. Can I fucking live, nigga? Damn, that shit is super ugly what y'all doing to me, man. He's trying to take over, and I can't even be a part of it.
SPEAKER_16The freaking so if y'all but let's just say he added another show, title, another show, and let's say he did the black album. Y'all still picking either reasonable doubt or the blueprint over the black album?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, and I really like the black album, but that's that's definitely third on the list. Okay. But I think that anniversary, oh, it just passed. I think it came out in what 03?
SPEAKER_16Yeah, the black album was 2003.
SPEAKER_08So the 20-year anniversary just passed. Maybe you'll do it for 25-year to 30-year.
SPEAKER_16That'd be fire.
SPEAKER_02Now, the black album is probably one of my favorite Jay-Z albums. Um, but that's just me personally.
SPEAKER_16I love all three. Honestly. Those are my favorite three albums with Jay-Z, to be honest with you.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm gonna be honest. I this is gonna be a um, this is gonna be a hot take, and I know people are gonna talk shit.
SPEAKER_16You taking the black album over everything?
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no, no. I'm not I'm not taking the black album over everything. I'm saying one of my favor, like my actual favorite um, one of like my top Jay-Z albums was the Blueprint 3. I know people gonna talk shit, but I love the blueprint three. Like, I don't give a fuck. That was one of my favorite ones. Like, that's when a lot of people were like, oh, that's man, like commercial, like he's he's not the same no more. Like, oh my god, what I still play Venus versus Mars. Like, that was my shit. Then they also got uh Empire State of Mine, and then that's the auto tune on there, like all those songs. Like, I really love that whole fucking album. I just remember people hating that, not hating it, but like this is not Jay-Z that we know.
SPEAKER_08Like, this is a whole different yeah, it's not a top five Jay-Z album, but I still think it's really good. I still fuck with it, so yeah.
SPEAKER_02I I that that album went triple platinum for me. Like, I fucking love that shit. That was on my sidekick, I believe. If I'm not mistaken, the sidekick days. I if I'm not, I know it's definitely lime wire days.
SPEAKER_16Um I'm gonna be honest with you. I really like the American Gangsta album.
SPEAKER_02I love the American Gangsta album.
SPEAKER_16That was one of my favorite, my favorite albums. That shit is hard.
SPEAKER_02I love the American Gangsta album too. That's what I'm saying. Like people, like real Jay-Z fans, like they get really like when I say they, we're all Jay-Z fans, but I'm talking about like the like when you've been a fan from the beginning, you're gonna go with the original albums opposed to like the later albums, you know what I'm saying? Because he he did he like Kingdom Come, I remember what that means for.
SPEAKER_04I loved it too.
SPEAKER_08Like, Lost Ones is still one of my favorite songs every day.
SPEAKER_04I freaking love lost ones.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, for real. Like that shit, yeah. I I loved Kingdom Come. You know what I'm saying? But the Jay-Z fans, especially the older crowd, like when I say old, I mean the people like in their 40s and maybe even early 50s, like they'll be like, get that shit the fuck out of here.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, nah, 30 something, that was hard as hell to me, bro.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, that was that's a fact.
SPEAKER_16Kingdom come was fire. 30 something. Show me what you got. Nah, that album was fire.
SPEAKER_04He's really a legend in this rap game, and he's still here with us.
SPEAKER_02And with the American Gangster, I love Blue Magic. That's one of one of my favorite PC toys.
SPEAKER_16Hell yeah. First of all, I'm gonna take my connect. Yeah, yo, that's the most important person with all due respect to bag.
SPEAKER_02I love blue magic. For sure.
SPEAKER_16Is so nasty, bro. What's that? A trumpet?
SPEAKER_02I don't know. Yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, that shit went so hard. Yeah, I love Blue America. Nah, bro. Yeah, nah, American Gangsta is one of my favorite albums. I don't care.
SPEAKER_02Um, okay, so what else we got? Shout out to Jay-Z, man. I hope somebody somebody lied to this shit. So I can hear it.
SPEAKER_16I know, I forgot I know it was on that album. Uh-huh. Everything you like, everything you love, baby you love, ho, baby, you love, ho.
SPEAKER_02Real quick before we go any further, I definitely want to say rest in peace to Chuck Norris. Um, I don't really know who Chuck Norris is. The great rest in peace to him.
SPEAKER_04Rest in peace to Chuck Norris. Rest in peace, Kiki Shit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, by name, yeah, but I really don't know who he is. Like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_13Man.
SPEAKER_02Wow. Okay. I don't know. What what is he? Like, bro, Texas, Texas Ranger, and now he's a rapper.
SPEAKER_16Bro, he was Texas Ranger. He was in Mad uh movie. Bruce Lee, The Way of the Dragon.
SPEAKER_04The Bruce Lee one I know for a fact because my uncle used to watch that.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so that's what it was. I never seen any of his his work, that's why.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, he was just that martial arts gangster. You know what I'm saying? He was he was that guy, and then Texas Rangers where everybody really knew who he was. But he was big before then, all of old school movies and karate macho man and gun wheeling, and he was in a bunch of stuff. He was in the expendables, he was in a lot of good good movies and shows.
SPEAKER_02Oh man, rest in peace, Chuck Norris. I do know the name, I know the face for sure. Like, I don't I I just didn't know his work, so um, that makes sense.
SPEAKER_07Rest in peace, Chuck.
SPEAKER_02I got a couple more things here I want to talk about, but we kind of like running out of time. So um, I might have to just leave that for another time. Um, I'll just say this real quick. Mystical did plead guilty to rape.
SPEAKER_04Mr. Google.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so he's facing 20 years in prison. Um, nothing that we should talk about.
SPEAKER_08Hope they cast rate that motherfucker.
SPEAKER_04I wanted to get into paradise.
SPEAKER_08And I'm sorry, Juvenile, for getting y'all mixed up.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that was that was nasty.
SPEAKER_15That was nasty shit to do.
SPEAKER_02Um, and real quick, Afro Man. I wanted to talk about Afro Man, but I want to play the clips and shit. We don't have time.
SPEAKER_16Yeah, why he was in that fucking uh American suit, bro. Yeah, we gotta do that next week.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we'll save Afro Man for next week. But uh real quick, I do want to say, um, oh, we're gonna talk about the stop, the stopping um, stop and um yeah, we're gonna talk about that. I got a couple other things that we're gonna talk about next week. I just have to remember. I always say that and I forget to bring it up. But this time, yeah, because these are some stories I want to talk about. But um, real quick before we go, Paradise. Another episode dropped. Um by the time you guys hear, this is just it's just the way we record. It's gonna be a whole nother episode out, so it's gonna be old, so there's no spoilers. This is last week's episode. Um, Cece, go ahead. What you what you feel about this new episode that dropped?
SPEAKER_04Y'all was crazy. I was just happy Terry done popped up finally. Thought my girl was gone. Um, and uh, yeah, that's all I gotta say. Gary's insane. Like, he really, but you know, Gary's little plan got got uh him to find Terry. So you know, even though he escaped, he really tried to blow that nigga up with his own bomb. Like, what? Talking about, I'm sorry. That's how I always wanted it to be. I'm like, this nigga. The only thing I was mad at, I'm like, I'd be mad at um Agent Collins because I'm like, you are an agent. Like, you have to think. If this guy's in love with your wife, like, why would you ever trust him? Yeah, that would have been my first thought. Like, wow, I can't trust him. He probably wants to kill me so he can end up with her. He knows where she is. Like, I'm like, you're an agent. Why you can't? I know it's a show and they set it up for us to like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_08He doesn't trust him though, he just knows he has to use them to find his wife. Yeah, that's why um he didn't give the baby to him, and nigga was crying about that. Yeah, yeah. How come you didn't give the baby to me? This is exactly why nigga fuck out of here.
SPEAKER_04Listen, he gave him that baby to the right couple. He ain't never going back. He like, fuck that. I found my wife. I ain't going back to that white baby. You gotta go with that. She got nothing to do with me. Imagine he lead a baby, but nah, it was a good episode. I I really want to know. I I'm like, yo, I I wanna I needed to see more, but I'm like, dang, now I gotta wait.
SPEAKER_02So for the listeners, this was episode six, right?
SPEAKER_08We're talking about two more episodes left.
SPEAKER_02This was episode six that we're referring to. So in this episode, this is starting off with um the president was killed by uh crazy bitch. What's her name?
SPEAKER_08Um Jane. I love Jane. That's what she right there.
SPEAKER_02They kind of give you a background, they give you a background of Jane and where she started and where she originated. Like they knew that she was gonna be a killer since her mom was pregnant with her. It was something that was planned that they were gonna train her to be a killer. And um, or maybe not, huh?
SPEAKER_08Or maybe I don't like I said, I think it's some time traveling going on. So when they when they wrote that letter to the dude at Circuit City, to you know, I don't know, that might have been a plan to make them uh think that she's gonna be a killer.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because it it I I said I had to watch this episode again. I'm gonna watch, I'm gonna re-watch it before I watch the new episode because it was a little confusing to me and it was late at night, so I'm like, maybe I'm not seeing things correctly, but um, because when you're watching her growing up, her mom was not really the best mom to her. Um, but there was nothing about them training her. You know what I'm saying? Like it just started happening, like she got into the field on her own, type shit. And um, she just became really fucking good at what she does. And I also remember last week when we were speaking about it, how um uh what's her name? Um Sinatra, how she quote unquote didn't remember. And I remember I said, I'm like, yo, she remembered, she just pretended like she was like, Yeah, I knew she remembered.
SPEAKER_04I knew it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she remembered, and she told her that, like, yo, why didn't you you shot me? Like, why you didn't kill me? And she said, yo, for who I am. This is what Jane said, for who I am. I need somebody like you to keep me going. Like, basically, you're the one that gives me the instructions to kill. If you're not.
SPEAKER_04Let me tell you something about Jane. She loves Sinatra so much. Like, you seen her put her hair up, she looks at her like she wants her approval because she was missing that from her mom. Right. And then that guy that popped up when she was born that was like Jane's mom was going through postpartum. Remember, she was just in the hospital, the baby was crying, she just out of it. She was about to die when she was having her, like, get her out of me. Like, uh I seen it from that thing, like a different uh view of it. She was I seen her, like, she was going through postpartum. It seemed like she was going through it, like she didn't have that connection right away. Right. But then when that guy said that, it probably scared her. Like, like, what the hell's going on? Like, you know, she's and then Jane was hearing uh voices. Remember, she's like, Oh, you um you're too big for an imaginary friend. Right. Like her mom was mad, like pushing her off. She tried to kill her, talking about, oh, what was an imaginary friend? Name she put them in the sauna, she turned the heat up and locked the door. She's like, but she's like, Oh, she told me to do it. Right then, I'm like, oh yeah, she definitely is a killer. Like she was trying to kill them. Yeah, but then she's looking. It was almost believable with her backstory what she was saying to Sinatra when she was like, Oh, because you uh I need you here so you can tell me what to do because I'm a killer. But I'm like, nah, she's just cutthroat and she's gonna find a way to like end Sinatra somehow. Like she's like really mentally ill. Like it's not even the killing thing. Like that bitch is crazy.
SPEAKER_02I think she gets a high off of killing, but I also think that like the way Sinatra has it set up, it's like there won't be an if Sinatra is gone, there's not gonna be another person that's gonna take Sinatra's spot to give her that, you know, to give her that role. You get what I'm saying? Like, this is a secret that Sinatra got with her. But then that girl that it kind of seemed like her and Sinatra had like a lesbian relationship, but they were just like really close friends. Um, I don't know her name, but she got the long curly, and she's kind of like trying to figure out Oh my gosh, the therapist, she looks good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And she said that, like, yo, I used to be her person that did her dirty work, and now it's you. I love that therapist. Yeah, she's gonna use something done.
SPEAKER_08Um, why would she say that she's on to them?
SPEAKER_02I don't know if she kept that on a low. She got a death wish. Like, I don't get that because you're not a killer, mama, and you can't fuck with Jane. And Jane pretty much told her that, like, yo, yeah, Jane.
SPEAKER_04She's like, so why would you tell me that?
SPEAKER_02Like, you you know who I am, like, you know what I do? Like, what the fuck? So now I know I gotta get ready.
SPEAKER_04Yo, did y'all yo, my I love when they sent Jane out on the front line. She was like, I don't give a damn. Like, she's like, Where's the cutie with the car? She knows how to play her role so well, but she's like crazy.
SPEAKER_08I feel like her and Link already know each other. I just have a gut feeling about that.
SPEAKER_02Link is the baby daddy, yeah. Yeah, oh, okay, okay, that's possible. And because how did he know about that? He was the only one that knew about that. So he knew how to get there and all of that.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, and then he asked about the apple pie. I'm like, what the fuck the apple pie got to do with anything? It's just it just felt so weird to me when they was negotiating.
SPEAKER_02And remember, the apple pie was significant last season. Like, remember there was a thing with apple pie?
SPEAKER_04They can't grow things down there, really. So it's like right, right, right. Yeah, that was a good wow, Mark. I wasn't even thinking of that. And and hold on, Jane with the daughter. Like, I feel like she wants to do something to Sinatra's daughter, like she there's some jealousy there. You see their mother-daughter bond that they have, yeah. She never had that with her mother, and then she's like, I will never let anything happen to her, but she knows that she could get through to Sinatra through that daughter, something else, because the daughter just popped up now, she's so important. Right. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02And um, like like you said originally, uh, I don't know, in between that, obviously, um, the woman who was also uh Billy, the ex-president who passed away, his mistress slash just girlfriend, because whatever it was, but um she's locked up because obviously Jane framed her for the president's murder, and she doesn't even want to speak about it. She just wants to do her time and just and just deal with it. Like she doesn't even care to even go against Jane because she realizes that Jane is way too powerful and there's nothing she could do about it. But she's also in prison with Billy's son, and he's trying to like escape, and so she's trying to help him, and they're both gonna escape out that shit because he realizes that they're in there with the guy who basically came up with this whole shit.
SPEAKER_04The whole operation, yeah. Right, so like the mastermind behind it, right?
SPEAKER_02So if anybody knows how to get out of here, it will be him. They got him locked up in here, he could get us out, so that's happening, and then of course, now Xavier is working on a plan to try to find these people who allegedly kidnapped Terry, but in the midst of it, um he he puts the bomb out because the bomb was supposed to be a distracted to get them, a distraction to get everybody to come outside, which it worked, and just so happens that Terry was one of the people that's with these people. So it doesn't look like she's being held captive, it looks like she's actually down with them, like they're all just together, but we're not gonna know until the next episode.
SPEAKER_04Yes, that was such a great episode. It's a great show.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it is a good show. Um, I can't believe that's a good one.
SPEAKER_08My co-worker, she has this theory that he doesn't really see Terry, like he might have like a concussion or some shit from the explosion.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's a good point. I kind of believe that too. Um, I think it's because I see so much on social media people talking about it, like, oh, we knew Terry wasn't dead, da da da. Because when it happened on the show while I was watching it, I'm like, oh, she's not really there. Because then it ended. And if you realize he's been flashing back and having like these visions of her the entire time. So I'm like, oh, it's just another, you know, it's just him hallucinating again.
SPEAKER_04I hate when they try to make them seem young. You know how when they had Terry in the hospital, I'm like, she still looks old. Like her ass looked like she had a couple kids already.
SPEAKER_02But I'm not completely against him being hallucinating and she wasn't with him. I just social media convinced me that she was. But when I was watching it in real time, I was like, oh, he's hallucinating. Like, that's what I thought.
SPEAKER_04Like, I definitely, I can believe I could see that. I was just so happy she popped up. I'm like, yes.
SPEAKER_02I was so happy too. I was. I hope that he isn't hallucinating and she really is there. And you know, they gotta figure out how you're gonna get back. But shit is gonna be crazy for them to get back because if you think about it, he's gonna be like uh a wanted man when they get back to the back. Yeah, they all against him now. Yeah, they're all against him. And then he gave Jane the alley to be like, oh, blame it on me, and da-da-da-da. So now it's gonna be hard for him because he's gonna get back and he's gonna throw his ass in prison. Like, it's not gonna be the same. Um, but we'll see. We'll see what happens with this new episode. Um, but yeah, that's pretty much it, y'all. I don't think, you know, we don't we're out of times when we don't have much time to talk about everything else. That made me excited.
SPEAKER_16That made me excited because it's definitely I was I was baffled when he walked in the room and I saw boy brain splattered everywhere. I was confused as hell, too. I didn't know what the hell was going on. So I I'm I'm excited to see how this unravels the way I talk about it. Because the first few episodes I saw, I was like, nah, they wasn't lying. This shit is good as fuck.
SPEAKER_02This thing on episode two.
SPEAKER_16I'm on episode four.
SPEAKER_04Oh man, Ali, you got a lot to catch up on. I'm on episode four.
SPEAKER_16That's a great show, though. I'm on episode four, but that shit is that shit is so good, and it's a lot of actors in it that I didn't know was in it that I like, so that's dope.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's a it's really a great show. Um, like Mark says, uh allegedly only two episodes left, but it has been renewed for season three. So um I'm so anxious about it.
SPEAKER_04I miss Carrie.
SPEAKER_02Shit. And it didn't take long for the second season to come out either. Like a lot of these new shows be taking like mad long.
SPEAKER_16Three years. Like, what the fuck? Yeah, what do you mean the show ended? We gotta wait till 2027.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, this wasn't a this wasn't a long wait for season two. I could be wrong, but I I also binge watched it, so I don't know. Mark would know better than me.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I mean it's only fucking eight episodes per season, so it better not take that long.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's true. That's a good point. That's definitely a valid point. But um, all right, y'all. That's it for today. Thank you for tuning in to another episode of the Media Slayers. We are here every Monday at Monday every Monday at midnight-ish. You know, I know I've been running a little late these past couple weeks, but don't hold me to it. Give me a break. Um, but you know, thank you guys for tuning in.
SPEAKER_08Do the right thing like spikely.
SPEAKER_02Oh, listen, don't step on my shit. Don't fucking step on my shit. All right. Listen out there, make sure you save your money, be safe, and do the right thing like spikely. We're out of here, pig.
