You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_12Yeah, everybody wake the heck up.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, there we go.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05I like how you court yourself, man. You're getting better at this.
SPEAKER_12Man, I was about to mess up, but I got it.
SPEAKER_14What's up, guys? How y'all doing?
SPEAKER_12I'm lit, you know. Just woke up, fresh nap, feeling good. Nice rainy Saturday. Yo, for real.
SPEAKER_04That's okay, okay. You gotta get that little energy up.
SPEAKER_14It's definitely the rain. The rain is crazy. Oh my gosh. I love the rain.
SPEAKER_12I love every minute of it.
SPEAKER_04That's a fact. It's just soothing.
SPEAKER_14I need an energy drink or something. Wait me up. How was y'all week? How y'all feeling?
SPEAKER_12I feel very great and like rejuvenated. I'm ready for the next week to come. You feel rejuvenated? Yes. Because I had so much work to do this week, but I got all of it done yesterday.
SPEAKER_04So I feel good. Sorry, relief. That sounds fire. I wish mine was the opposite. I ain't had nothing to do this week. This week was a breeze. Next week I got so much to do.
SPEAKER_14How did y'all like your week off?
SPEAKER_04It was it was well well maintained. It was a great week off. Yes, we had a great time.
SPEAKER_14Yes, we did have a good time.
SPEAKER_04It looked like it looked like it was a great time.
SPEAKER_05I ain't like it. I was ready to record, man. There's no way we should have took the week off.
SPEAKER_14You're the reason why we took the week off, you said what? You're the reason why we took the week off.
SPEAKER_05No, no, I'm not. It's true. Not at all.
SPEAKER_14Yes, it is, because at the last the right when me and Cece were on our way to the city, Marcos, oh, can we record at what time did he say? Four instead of five instead of six. I'm like, bro, we I'm like, okay, we can try. Um, but you know we was going to the city, so how would we?
SPEAKER_05Hold on, slow down. Uh first of all, I asked early that morning.
SPEAKER_14It wasn't early in the morning.
SPEAKER_05It was definitely early in the morning. It was like eight, nine o'clock in the morning when I asked. And second of all, I don't know y'all's plans. What y'all going to the city gotta do with me? You knew he was gonna. I just asked could we record early? It was a note that we would have recorded regular time. Now you asked at like eight in the morning.
SPEAKER_14You did know, you knew he was going to the city, though. I don't know what y'all got going on. Yes, you did, because we invited you, and you was like, Oh, I'm not gonna look at nobody's flowers or whatever you said.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, y'all stupid plans. You asked me a month before that, like I'm supposed to remember what y'all got going on.
SPEAKER_14It was two weeks before, and irregardless, you said, Oh, the same exact day, conveniently. Oh, can we go to can we record at five? I'm like, is he cool? I'm like, and then um Cece was like, it's no way we're gonna make it back by five. I said, Yeah, I don't know. We could try though, and honestly, we made it back in time to record at six, but at this point we already agreed to five, so I'm like, Well, I guess we're just gonna have to um skip this week.
SPEAKER_05Now that means that's on you because I was still ready to record. I just didn't want to record while the Knicks was playing. I didn't want to be too distracted, but I still would have been with it.
SPEAKER_14I planned accordingly because we could have gone the the original time I wanted to go to where me and CeC went, I changed it because I'm like, oh, we gotta make it back by to record. And I changed the date to an earlier, I changed the reservation to an earlier time. So it worked out the way I did it, but you know, you threw the plans off, so we had to skip a week, but it's cool.
SPEAKER_05No, he did not, but it's all right, man. I'll be like how she said, but it's cool. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04He said, if you won't blame me, I'll be the scapegoat. Yeah, it is what it is.
SPEAKER_14Me and CeCe and my sister and our friends went to the Cherry Bob uh Cherry Blossom Festival in the city. Beautiful New York City to our listeners. We went to Chelsea Pierre, it was very, very nice. Yes, it was so nice.
SPEAKER_12We took a lot of pictures. I mean, there were so many photo ops and so many people.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I gotta post those.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, post those.
SPEAKER_14I'm saving them for a later day.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I understand that that makes sense. You know what I'm saying? I understand.
SPEAKER_14Very nice aesthetics there. Um, the food was alright, but I I mean I didn't really go for the food. Uh I really went for the experience, and it was a nice experience, but it was so weird because that entire week we were having 80-degree weather, and we went Saturday, and that was the day that the weather started to drop. So it was like in the 70s, like the low 70s. And then that night it dropped down to the 60s, and then the next day was in the 50s, and then all week has been in the 30s. Like, it's been weird.
SPEAKER_04Quick question. Is it hard for you when you go out to eat, being that you're a chef of yourself? You know what I'm saying? When you eat certain places, you'll be like, ah, this could have been better if they did this or they did that, or you just enjoy it.
SPEAKER_14Um, it's not harder. It's easier for me because I just know um, I know what to order and from like it's easier for me to order. A lot of times, like most of the time when I grow up, people they're like, Wow, I didn't think to order that. Because people read things in the menu, but this sounds good, this sounds good. But when you be when you cook and you and you cook for a large amount of people, you know what's hit or miss. You know what I'm saying? Like they could probably make it really good, but when you gotta make it constantly for a lot of people, it's gonna be hit or miss. So nah, it's easier, but this place genuinely, like their food just really wasn't that great.
SPEAKER_05Um, so that's that's a good question because I was just having that conversation the other day. I personally I can't go out that much anymore and still enjoy food like I used to.
SPEAKER_04Because it's not it's not as good as your own.
SPEAKER_05Yo, I'll be like, yo, I can make this myself, or someone in my family could have made this even better. Definitely crazy, and it's big buttons.
SPEAKER_04Especially because it's different when you cook cook for real, for real. You know what I'm saying? Like, so I I can only imagine.
SPEAKER_14Well, I when I do go out to eat, I go out for the um convenience, not because I just really want to go out to eat. I go off, like that's why I don't I don't eat fast food and stuff like that. For I was just telling CC this earlier, I don't really care for fast food, but that's really because I I really don't have, you know, like I don't feel like cooking and you know, I don't feel like doing anything. I just need something quick. And I always regret it. Every time I eat fast food, when I do give in and eat it, I regret it after. So it's like whatever. But there are some restaurants where I'm like, okay, yeah, I can get I can get jiggy with this.
SPEAKER_12I can get involved with that.
SPEAKER_14Mark, I thought we were going to the Brazilian steakhouse. What happened?
SPEAKER_05Uh you went to uh to the city to look at some flowers.
SPEAKER_12Well, it wasn't I'm crying, it wasn't just flowers, Mark.
SPEAKER_05What are you crazy? Mark said, I'm good with the flowers.
SPEAKER_12You would have loved it.
SPEAKER_05I'm sure I would have.
SPEAKER_12There was some baddies up in there every direction.
SPEAKER_04I knew you was in heaven. CC said it's getting hot, you heard.
SPEAKER_12And it was growing in there too, yeah. So see some dice little cougars up in there.
SPEAKER_14The disappointing part was that when we walked in, it was a scene outside, it was a hot dog stand. And everybody was like, girl, we going in there to eat. Don't worry about no hot dogs. I'm like, whatever. Yeah, I don't even know. So then after we left, everyone wasn't fully satisfied with the food. So I'm like, let's go to the hot dog stand. And boy, oh boy, did we learn a lesson that day? Oh my gosh. First of all, I as much as I've been talking about the hot dogs in the city, um, I was very excited to see it, but it was a different hot dog stand. Like, it was like a hot dog slash halal stand, right?
SPEAKER_02And oh he had the food.
SPEAKER_14No, but his food wasn't good. Like, you know, oh like I said, I like like I much rat I much prefer the halal that comes off of the um the trucks opposed to like these halal spots they be having, it just it just tastes better. The fresh charcoal and everything like that. But agreed the hot dog is wasn't it, and it was like six dollars. Like, I'm like, the last time I brought a hot dog from a stand was many years ago, and it wasn't six dollars. And the hot dog wasn't even worth it. My sister brought a pretzel, the pretzel was hard as a rock. Um, CeC got what did you get, CC? A corn dog?
SPEAKER_12Corn dog, yeah.
SPEAKER_14You can't go wrong with a corn dog, huh? Yeah, it did what it had to do. Yeah, the corn dogs.
SPEAKER_12That's yeah, it was still $45 though. Like, and then the drink, too.
SPEAKER_05Like, dang, you know how pissed out off I would have been if we went out to eat, then I would have had to go to a hot dog stand right after. Yeah, nah.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, that was that was a little crazy, and then even after that, I still went and got food after the hot dog because it well, well damn.
SPEAKER_12No lie came home and ate. No, for real. I was like, I'm still fucking hungry. I mean, freaking. I was still freaking some praise, it's been 10 minutes. No, it hasn't. Not yet. My gosh, I had two minutes left.
SPEAKER_04At the finish line, you was right there. You win some, you lose some.
SPEAKER_05We're gonna have to play two songs at the beginning now.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, two songs at the beginning. It was two songs, that's the crazy thing. Oh my gosh, I'm sorry, y'all.
SPEAKER_14He's talking about for the record for the five for the show that comes out.
SPEAKER_12Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_14The music we listen to before we start, don't be in the don't be on the episode. Um, but yeah, I don't know. I had a good time, but honestly, with the cherry blossom festivals, like you pay, you pay a price, right? I think how much do we pay? It can't okay. So we for the reservation, we paid like what $65 for the reservation. Oh, yeah. And then um, it includes an entree, an appetizer, and a dessert, and then you get your own glass house to yourself, because it was like it's between five to seven people, and it was about it was five of us. So um, five or six of us, I forget. And then we we get there, and then they're like, um, okay, so here's the menu, and you get a choice of this, this, and this. And then um, at the end, you gotta pay for taxes, and what do they say for taxes and the 18% gratuity?
SPEAKER_04Or we're like, so are they adding the gratuity in already?
SPEAKER_14Or on top of what we already paid for. So you pay the $65, right? And then when you get there, you pay the taxes and gratuity on top of the $65 because it's as a group. Okay, so you pay for the $65, like everybody, whatever the total was. Like, let's say it's like three something with all of the $65 each. Now you're gonna pay for the taxes that go along with that on top of the 18% gratuity on top of anything else you order. And we're like, what the so what's the point in even having us pay ahead if we're technically paying for everything once we get here? Like that doesn't make sense. That doesn't make sense. They're like, No, well, you pay, and then with the menu, they told us you get a choice of a dessert, but you didn't have a choice.
SPEAKER_02They gave us it was no choice.
SPEAKER_14You didn't have a choice for the appetizer either. We chose it. Yeah, the appetite see the menu was pretty decent, but what they offered you was like probably like the at least appetizing things. That's what that was the issue for me. I went I went to the order outside the menu because it's like this is crazy. For the appetizer, what do we have?
SPEAKER_12Oh, they had um it was like hummus with these like pita chips, yeah.
SPEAKER_14But it wasn't it wasn't regular hummus because regular hummus is chickpeas. This was um uh anamami hummus, which I've never heard of in my life. So it was anamami hummus and pita chips. Um, I was just hungry, so I was eating it, but it wasn't great. And then I don't remember what I had for the entree. I can't, I don't remember what I had. Uh um you had salmon. Oh, I had salmon, yes. The salmon was alright. It was a little overcooked, but it was good. I ate all of it. I was so hungry. I didn't even care. I ate all of it. And the dessert, they gave us like these berry macaroons.
SPEAKER_04Berry macaroons, yes, they was not good. So they didn't even give you a they they took away your choice, and their choice was berry macaroons.
SPEAKER_14Yes, and nobody like not one person at the table liked it.
SPEAKER_12I'm pretty sure to a macaro eater, they were good, but I don't like macaro, so I didn't like macarons.
SPEAKER_04No, I didn't like macaroons until last year. I'm not even gonna lie.
SPEAKER_12Maybe I gotta have a better macaroon.
SPEAKER_14No, you gotta have because I got different expensive ones, and they're gonna like so good. It don't have to be expensive, they just have different flavors. You probably just had a flavor you didn't like because it's it comes with so many different flavors.
SPEAKER_04I guess they do.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, it's probably just a flavor. Like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04They're so good.
SPEAKER_14I do. I love macaroons, but that one, I was like, Oh, it tastes like it tastes like strawberry jelly was in the middle of them. That's what it tastes.
SPEAKER_04I'm I'm embarrassed to say macarons and papoosas. I found out years later how amazing they both were.
SPEAKER_12I love papoosas. Oh, I found Brentwood. I love papoosa.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I ain't never eat them in Brentwood. My best friend mom makes the best ones. I was like, I'm not eating that, bro. Like, ew no, man. I had one like what, maybe two, three years ago. I've been craving them since.
SPEAKER_14Did you eat did you say ill no from looking at it, or just the sound of it? Like, did you actually see how they looked and said no?
SPEAKER_04Or I was just I just looked at it and I I just I just wasn't, I was a really, really picky eater. I didn't really start expanding my palate until the last few years, be honest with you.
SPEAKER_14Oh because it's just I don't know, because but I my mom used to tell us that papooses was octopus, so that's why I never wanted to eat it.
SPEAKER_04Hey, no, I definitely wouldn't have eaten it then.
SPEAKER_14But when I moved to Brentwood and I seen like what papooses really was, I'm like, oh, okay, it's just Salvadorian's version of uh, you know, uh not I wouldn't say a beef patty, but everybody, every, every like what was I gonna say? Every culture has cheese, yeah. Every culture has their version of meat and exactly like a of a tortilla beans and cheese and whatever. Yeah, that's their version of it. But then cheese. I only get papooses with cheese. I don't get the pork, but I I just get cheese and but they it comes with beans, it comes with cheese.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I get all of it, all of it on it.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, I just like the cheese.
SPEAKER_04I don't want none of the um what's that come with it?
SPEAKER_14What's that come with it? Mark, me see, me and Mark got into a debate about this because Mark offered me his papoosas that he ordered a few weeks ago. I don't remember how long ago that was, and he just gave me the papulces without it.
SPEAKER_04And I'm like, Yeah, yeah, that's because that's how you're supposed to eat it, man. Not with with that stuff.
SPEAKER_14I was like, where's the sauce? He's like, what he's like, what sauce?
SPEAKER_04I'm like, the sauce it comes with the sauce and the and the the shredded whatever.
SPEAKER_14I think it's called cortito or something like that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, with the sauce.
SPEAKER_14Mark was like, that's not sauce. Like, how you calling that sauce? I'm like, no, it's like their it's like their sauce, it's like cabbage and tomato sauce mixed together, and it tastes amazing on the papoosa, like it's really good. I don't know, but I do I eat it with that, and then after I finish the papoosa, if I have more left, I just eat that by itself. The cabbage and the tomato sauce. I think it's called tatiro or something like that. I think that's what it's called. Delicious. Y'all gotta be hungry. You know what I ate, CC, since we since we left the movie theater? What I had pigs in the blanket.
SPEAKER_12Oh, that is so good. I haven't had them in so long.
SPEAKER_05That low-key mad good. I ain't even gonna lie. Friday was pigs in the blanket day.
SPEAKER_14Wow, pigs in the blanket, like natural pigs in blankets, yeah.
SPEAKER_04That's crazy.
SPEAKER_14I didn't know they even had a day.
SPEAKER_04That's wow. I didn't know that either. I didn't know. How you be knowing this, man? You a real, a real, uh, a real uh what's it, what's it? A food connoisseur for real. I really am.
SPEAKER_13I did not know that.
SPEAKER_05That's crazy. I haven't had it in a while. I'm gonna make some myself.
SPEAKER_04I haven't had none in a really, really long time, too. It's usually like certain get-togethers that people have corn dogs. I haven't really had it in a minute.
SPEAKER_14Not corn dogs, pigs in a blanket.
SPEAKER_04Pigs in a blanket, my bad.
SPEAKER_14You know, it's crazy. When I was younger, I didn't really care for them, but once I learned how to make them myself, I was like, oh, it tastes 10 times better when you make them yourself.
SPEAKER_04It's so much better. Are they Franks or little so what sausages are they? Like what?
SPEAKER_14No, they're they're hot dogs, yeah.
SPEAKER_04They are hot dogs, they're little miniature hot dogs.
SPEAKER_14Well, when you make it yourself, you just get hot dogs and you cut them up.
SPEAKER_04You cut them off and you do it. Oh, so you make them yourself?
SPEAKER_14Yeah, you put them in like um, like you get a pack of like the uh crescent rolls, and then you just you just wrap it in the crescent roll, like you cut the crescent each one in half, you wrap the the little piece in it, and oh my gosh, it tastes so much better. It's delicious. And I actually prefer ballpark hot dogs because the ones that are made with them is usually like sabrettes. I don't I don't really like those hot dogs. Yeah, ballpark is my favorite. I used to stay eating those when I was little. Ballpark is fire. Okay, um, all right. So I'm gonna introduce us and we're gonna get started. Off the food and on to the facts. Let's go, yeah, baby. Listeners, welcome back. We missed you guys. Welcome back to episode 210 of the Media Slayers Podcast. Woo! Yeah, baby, hosted by your one and only Kiji. I'm here, baby. So yeah, I'm joined by my sister Cece, the voice in the spot. Don't make it high.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, 210, let it rain. Accept the new and watch the pain, baby, and get some brain. That was a good one.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it was decent because the last couple weeks been gonna shut up.
SPEAKER_12I've been killed the last couple weeks, too.
SPEAKER_14Back to ghostwriting, run the playbacks. No, I'm not gonna lie, CC. For the past couple of weeks, your rhymes ain't been rhyming.
SPEAKER_04She even doing high cools and shit, yeah.
SPEAKER_12Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I gotta, I gotta, yo, I thought I had a ghostwriter. I thought I had some help.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you didn't pay him enough.
SPEAKER_12Well, we want to check.
SPEAKER_14That was crazy. I'm also joined by Mr. Unlimited PTO.
SPEAKER_04While Lee is here, you're gang gang with the gang gang. We here, baby.
SPEAKER_14And of course, last but not least, we have Mr. HR, the instigator himself, Mark G.
SPEAKER_05Yes, sir. Say what the fuck I said.
SPEAKER_14All right. Um, I just want to let y'all know. I see we all went to see the mica movie today, so we're gonna get into that in a few. Um, but however, when we were on our way, me and Cece rode together. Uh, Mark was with us, Ali seen it, and we know we'll talk about that. But on the way there and on the way back, Cece was saying she is so excited to talk about Mary J. Blige and the chicken. Yo, one of my favorite commercials. Like, so before I get into the 2010 facts, real quick, I'm gonna start off with what Cece wants to talk about because she was just so excited to talk about it. And I I'm just gonna go ahead and start off with that. So, you take it away, Cece. Go ahead. I'm gonna let you have this one. Go ahead, Cece.
SPEAKER_12Okay, so do y'all remember the crispy chicken commercial, Burger King commercial Mary has singing back in the day?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that was like what, 10 years ago or something like that?
SPEAKER_12I have no idea when it came out. Now let me just now let me get it on. Does anybody have the video? I have the video. I don't play the second, but go ahead. So uh yeah, like honestly, when it came out, um do y'all remember? I already knew there would be controversy from it. It came out in 2012. Yes, I rem I remember like there was already controversy from it because it was like black person chicken singing about some chicken. It's like what? But you know, the slogan's very catchy. So now, fast forward, Mary is pissed, y'all. does not want nobody say it she said that everything was wrong about it like what it did now is what they didn't want to happen basically and that um the production was wrong how they filmed it was wrong she's like um um none of it was fucking funny at all my fans my real fans they did not find it funny I'm like Mary yes we did like baby I'm already a real fan it was hilarious like I know like you know you're probably uptight about it now but listen we didn't tell you to do that like you could have easily put your foot down right there you're the artist keep in mind and I know that people have these contracts or whatever but you put something out and it's already there so yes we're enjoying it years later and I enjoyed it at the time this is one of my favorite commercials I have to keep reminding my family now they're like oh I remember like I remember this that was that was mad catchy but now it's it's some it's some fire behind it. Auntie Mary we sorry but I'm gonna still sing it because this is my jam it was catchy lost friends behind that yes yes yo there's so many videos too people uh like responding to it like what friends did you lose over a crispy chicken fresh lettuce free cheeses yo they keep reenacting the commercial y'all thinking a friend sold sold out oh my gosh it's oh man y'all what y'all think she really lost some friends over that uh no I don't think so she's just dragging it I I don't I don't know and if she really did they wasn't really her friend was not really riding at all but I don't believe that at all I'm I'm gonna play the um first I'm gonna play the clip from the interview Mary J.
SPEAKER_14Blige did an interview with Scott Evans and he asked her um you know he asked her how she felt about the commercial now that all this time has passed because I don't know if you guys remember there were so many like people uh that were you know basically it was like before TikTok was a thing it was just everybody was just doing their own rendition of it singing it you know going on interviews quoting it it was just very funny and he asked her about it and this was her response F about that Burger King commercial um no what's in those new chicken snack wraps what's in the new chicken snack Mary crispy chicken crispies I I would never laugh at that because my my true honest to true fans did not think that shit was funny.
SPEAKER_01Yeah the whole way that went down was wrong the whole way they shot it was wrong they it was set up to make exactly what happened in the press happen like that. You really feel that way and so it's still not a laughing matter to me. Yeah you know because I was deeply deeply affected. Now I learned a lot from it but it's not something I'm like no it's not funny. But laugh you motherfucker if you want still I don't care but the bottom line is my fans were confused the real true fans not the people that what I dip in and dip out yes but the people was like what's going on and I didn't really know what was going on. Right.
SPEAKER_14But I had bad representation bad management bad everything and everybody But uh my thing is how you don't know what's going on and you have come on son you did it for the check you did it for the check what's in the new chicken wraps why yo why do I feel like you dad used to sing this CC I don't know why that was one word what's in the new chicken wraps like come on you had lines everything you knew what was hidden like you knew what it was here for you I don't know why but for me for some reason like okay number one I wasn't gonna I I was gonna let 2010 be our last like year review but now I might just have to go to 2012 just so I can talk about how this was a thing in 2012 but what I'm saying is I didn't know that it was a thing like that back then like I remember when it came out but the way she's explaining I was like I didn't I didn't know people were talking about it like that like I just thought it was embarrassed. Yeah I didn't think of nothing of it but the way she's explaining it was like I didn't know what was going on how you don't know what you were singing like you sing it like you signed the paperwork you they pitched the idea to you you sung the song you did a few takes like come on son ain't no way and you was way too old like that wasn't cracked out Mary that was regular Mary wasn't it I don't know she had her she had her ups and downs but either way it goes you was well of age that you wasn't a kid you know I'm saying it's not like you were a kid and you didn't you was just doing whatever like you was a grown woman like how how you not know what was going on that's that's the thing that kind of threw me off and why are you still mad about it after all this time like I kind of forgot it I forgot about it but so the fact that he brought it up I thought it was gonna be a good laugh and she was like you nothing yo so did he so did he play that shit off real quick he switched that shit already like you was already the Mary J Blige it wasn't oh yeah nah the drugs was gone she was crazy I just thought that was so funny now you got everybody singing it like you this is the worst time to tell somebody you don't like something like this even more viral now waking up every day trend no black people ain't serious about nothing as soon as they brought it back up now it's a song it's a ringtone it's gonna be a tick tock trend that's what I said the same thing it's gonna be a tick tock trend I said it's something it's over CC was like it's already all over tick tock I can't believe that's doing it yep see I seen a video they did a compilation of like everyone that was singing the song when it came out like they had mad people that were like other celebrities were singing yeah celebrities that was singing it like that was back in the day when jingles was a real thing yeah for real everybody had some fire jingles back in the day yeah that's what I'm like yo mary you gotta relax girl like why are you so serious you was mad as hell what it meant to the people like what crispy chicken yo straight up fans not the ones that dip in and dip out girl shut up I was like where's she going with this like you got black panther fans niggas is doing too much yo that was hilarious like I I couldn't I can't believe you out here selling out your job turkey yo that lady is crazy singing about chicken know what they say about us and chicken what's next watermelon yo and it wasn't like if it was fried chicken I can understand that but these are crispy chicken fried chicken no i'm talking about like actual fried chicken bone like a bucket of fried chicken yeah like she was singing for KFC exactly like you talking about you know what I'm saying chicken tenders in a wrap like with cheese and lettuce that's not us that don't that's not a stereotype for black people like that's a gyro or some shit that's not us come on now I mean just for you on the topic chili's got a really good McChicken sandwich right now it's brand new that shit is fire yo see food connoisseur what the fuck like it's super underrated yo it's so cheap I don't know why people don't like it more chilies yeah now chilies is up I've only been to chilies once maybe twice I never liked chilies but I went with my co-workers last year on lunch and I was like oh I think I didn't know chilies was like that I said all these years I've been going to Applebee's and chilies is like this like that's crazy I will never ever just I I can't chilies is better than Applebee's 10 times better 10 times better their drinks are better they have a lot more options is chilies up there with Ruby Tuesdays for sure I've had Ruby I I gotta check chilies out say love now chilies is fire I I really I love being my whole family was was ruby tuesdays is so good oh yeah that's what it was first mark we went out as a family we went out to chilies and I was like wow like the options the drinks everything it was really good like really really really good y'all I sent y'all the other video of the guy singing for McDonald's please play it it's like that's not the video I want you to send me who my gosh please look he said you weren't having to write them jingles stop playing right do y'all remember this wait but who's that girl I remember this I don't remember this who is this guy who is this name I woke up and found you creeping oh girl I know you stink dipping on me oh I remember McNaught you dipping on me you went to McDonald's just why can't you get your love with me nice song but you're still not getting any of my crispy juicy girl you got a 10 piece don't be stinch oh my gosh I remember this I remember that bro you got a 10 piece this don't be sting jet oh my gosh who's the girl who's the girl that the ad libs was fire oh my gosh you dipping on me dipping on me and they got her dipping in that fucking song why don't ever be but how good they make the commercials look with the food and the lighting and all that shit don't ever look the same oh that's because it's fake food on the commercials yeah I know man I saw the the back the back thing of it the uh the BTS behind the scenes yeah it's not real food it's just fake food that they just prop up and take pictures of take fire pictures and dope angles slow-mo and I I forgot which country I seen this recently there's a country where um it's so it gotta be somewhere in the UK where basically you can't it's like illegal for uh commercials or even you know how like I know exactly what you talk about you buy a bag of chips it has to be the same exact size as the they'll sue you for false advertisement yeah they can't do that it has to it has to be same size same everything or they get they get sued for it they can't do that which I think is really crazy um but yeah that's you know the commercials is crazy man classics classics now we had the best commercials bro I don't care I loved our commercials growing up now commercials are just scary as hell yeah they definitely fell off like the the Super Bowl commercials don't be fired no more yo not at all a lot of people don't watch TV so they don't go they don't put that much into commercials anymore like the most you'll see in a com if you see a commercial is probably because you're watching something that has an ad. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Like and most people choose the option like a lot of people are subscribing to YouTube premiums so they don't have to watch ads a lot of people who if you have Hulu they have the ad-free option like unless you're a tube watcher like me you're not seeing commercials like you're not or if you watch cable which I do too I watch cable but I know 90% of Americans don't watch cable anymore so you know it ain't nothing to watch I watch whatever TV is on my um on the brand you know how like they got like the Roku TV the TCL TV they have the whatever brand like the Samsung plus and whatever channels they got I watch that if there's nothing good on but I got so many subscriptions and stuff I just watch that now.
SPEAKER_14I mean it is it's it's still stuff's a lot to watch on cable because most of the stuff that comes on streaming is premiered on cable. So you can watch it but a lot of people just don't want to watch cable anymore they rather have the streaming they rather watch it on their own time when they want to not want it premieres and stuff like that. So you know it's different like if you still watch it like for power you know it still comes on on stars at midnight on the regular time it's supposed to debut but if you if you a watcher watcher you watch it at midnight as soon as it drops right but um you know if you watch it on the on the app the stars app you could watch it at any time you want or you know but you if you watch it on cable you gotta watch it every time they actually show it on the cable and that's that's a whole different story because it doesn't come on on midnight on cable it comes on at eight o'clock on the day from you know the day of the premiere or whatever so I don't know but I I do prefer cable a lot of people don't watch cable anymore so people aren't putting that much money into merch because into commercials because commercials cost a lot of money to make and to produce you know I'm saying like these networks get paid millions of dollars for commercials so it's like then they gotta do better because they're getting paid millions of dollars for trash well that's what I'm saying there's not really many people watching they're not putting that's what I'm saying they're not putting the money into commercials anymore because of that you'll see stuff like um like the big big big brands you know like State Farm and Geico and um you know stuff like that or McDonald's even insurance agencies banks dealerships stuff like that I wouldn't even say that again they got I'm talking about real big big big programs where they have these things playing where they have like um like like I said State Farm because they have like NBA players who they they're playing these commercials like you see it at the games you see it on on on YouTube and stuff like that like it's so it's those type of brands but like the minor brands no not so much they just got regular commercials it's nothing special they don't have celebrities they don't have big production they don't have none of that it's not none of that's going on um McDonald's always has like a celebrity sponsorship so the last one I remember they had was the offset and uh Cardi B meal that they had that was the last one I remember um I don't remember anything recently that they had but they always switch it up they always have somebody Popeyes had the uh Megan Stallion um they had the sweetie meal right they just had a um one piece meal did y'all see the lines yeah that was insane for Popeyes yeah yeah they had a one piece meal it's kind of fire the lines was wrapped around a block at some of them Popeye one piece meal hey yo let the anime lovers rock yeah they do I'm thinking you're saying like a one piece of chicken girl that's what I thought it was at first I was like I ain't standing on the line for that I'm like no one damn piece of chicken that's what I thought he was saying Ali's like that's really cracking that chicken if they doing that I know that chicken sandwich had everybody in a hunch but the one one piece of chicken had everybody out there around the corner lines out nah that's crazy so what is one piece then crack one piece is an anime oh okay okay okay could have given more they could have did more with that she said oh yeah nobody gonna get that that's what she said no I was yawning actually oh lord nah I didn't know that that's crazy one piece while I'm surprised y'all ain't seen none of the videos of the of the lines it was crazy no I didn't see that that's tough the last outrage I saw was Starbucks they had those the was it the Hello Kitty cups or something like that that's the last outrage I saw out here I didn't know about that that must have been a minute ago yeah it was probably like what like six eight months ago something like that Starbucks is closing down here they probably are but they had that's probably why they did that they had dropped these dope cups no it is out there it's all over the country they're closing down um I forgot how many stores over a hundred stores are closing down maybe they say 600 I don't know think under that that uh toys are rusting disappear come back I don't know I think it's because of one of the reasons is because there's a um everybody would a lot of people were striking uh were were on strike with Starbucks because of what was that oh my gosh I don't know where my brain is from hundreds of underperforming US because of the DEI and then they also were striking them because the actual employees were going on strike every other week there was uh different stores where the employees just wasn't showing up because the the employees are saying that they're treated unfairly and they have like terrible working conditions. So the employees were were striking Starbucks for how they're treating and then customers are are um are are banning Starbucks because of the DEI program. So it's like it's both it's the employees and the customers so they plan to shut down a whole bunch of stores across the country soon buy Starbucks make my own damn coffee yeah nah that's a fact that's crazy they're closing hundreds of stores laying off uh at least over 900 corporate and technology employees it's about a billion dollar restructuring plan that they got going on right now there was also one specific situation that happened I can't remember exactly what happened though like I don't I remember it was recorded like I don't know if it was an employee being racist or something like that but it went viral and everybody was like nah we're gonna buy Starbucks yeah Starbucks is a there was a few racist um situations that happened with Starbucks it was like two or three that I remember happened about like back to back around the same time it was crazy it's like wow and then you think about it like Starbucks is one of those um one of those corporations where they put them in certain areas certain neighborhoods right like you're not gonna see Starbucks just in the middle of the hood you see Dunkin' Donuts you know I'm saying but you're not gonna see Starbucks they put them in the nicer neighborhoods I would say um so a lot of the employees are a little bougie um probably a little bit so they said they're focusing on uh better neighborhoods because that's why they're closing the stores basically that's what they're trying to say that they're focusing on being from everywhere to fewer but better stores so they're already they're already not everywhere they're already in like you're not gonna go in Brownsville and go to Starbucks like the especially in Long Island when you look at Starbucks like they they finally put a Starbucks uh in the Brentwood Bay Shore area but it's at the Bayshore mall you know I'm saying like it's just not out like in the in the hood you know but you got like three Dunkin' donuts in Brentwood you know and then um the the next Starbucks I can think about is like in Colmack you got one in Dix Hills you got one you know I'm saying but there's no Starbucks in Windinch like there's no Starbucks in well they damn sure wasn't put one in there no it's not it's in the high it's in the nicer neighborhood that's where it is naturally already um I feel like if they wanted to prosper and do better yeah they will put them everywhere the way Dunkin' Donuts is because I no no shade I had you know people that's listening is gonna be like oh you are raccoon listen I know we're not supposed to we're supposed to be boycotting Starbucks and Target and all these other places however Starbucks has better quality uh coffee and things like that opposed to Dunkin' donuts it's just it's just a lot better it is it's better quality coffee um the only thing is that it's easier to get to Duncan than it is to get to Starbucks so I just choose Dunkin' Donuts because it's just easier it's more convenient but if Starbucks was was available the way it's kind of like McDonald's and Burger King you don't see that many Burger Kings around but you're gonna see a McDonald's every every every five miles you're gonna see a McDonald's but every like you you're gonna see Burger King randomly you know I'm saying you don't see that many Burger Kings that's how it is with Starbucks and Dunkin' so I don't know it'd be McDonald's like six minutes from each other. Yeah you see McDonald's everywhere it's McDonald's everywhere you go no matter what they got everything they don't care With it yet. There's McDonald's everywhere. Um, Burger King is very selective, it's not everywhere. Starbucks is better. I ain't gonna lie. I love Starbucks.
SPEAKER_05I like Dunkin' Donuts better.
SPEAKER_14I don't. I don't like Star Dunkin' Donuts. I mean, like I said, I I buy from Dunkin' Donuts more frequently, but if Starbucks was closer to me and it had a drive-thru, I would definitely um and it's cheap, Dunkin' Donuts is cheaper than Starbucks as well. That's another thing. Facts. Dunkin' Donuts is cheaper, Starbucks is more expensive. But when it comes to quality, Starbucks got the better quality than Dunkin' Donuts.
SPEAKER_05I only go to Starbucks if I want to hit on a white girl. That's it.
SPEAKER_04Uh yeah, I need that bented yeah, make me want to go to Starbucks right now.
SPEAKER_14That's crazy.
SPEAKER_05Look at you. Cooling out. Look at you.

SPEAKER_05It was alright, but once they kill Glenn up that I'm cool on this.
SPEAKER_04Bro, nah, if it went downhill after that, I ain't gonna lie. Fucking Negan.
SPEAKER_14I never seen it, so I don't know.
SPEAKER_04That shit was good, bro. That show was good, so good. It was really good. It really was. Really good. The acting on that, yeah, nah. It was this is it's such a good show. Like he said, after they killed Glenn, though, went downhill after that. When my boy Carl got up out of there, I was done. I was done. I was done.

SPEAKER_04He started, don't he? He started monster, no good blood sucker. You're right.
SPEAKER_14That's him. Yeah, fat fat motherfucker. Now look who's in trouble as you run through my channel. Yeah, I'm singing a wrong song.
SPEAKER_04That's him. You damn sure was.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, that's a fat you are. What song was I singing?
SPEAKER_04Something like the lick read. What is that? I don't know.
SPEAKER_12Uh that was Hello Good Morning.
SPEAKER_04That is Hello Good Morning. Good morning.
SPEAKER_14Another classic, but didn't come out. Yo, I really don't pay attention to McFrost part of Monster.
SPEAKER_04Like, yeah, because it was mid compared to everybody else.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he that's when um I used to fuck with Kanye. That's when uh Good Fridays was coming out.
SPEAKER_13Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, that's a fact. So this 2010 was was the comeback year for Kanye West because remember, he had that scandal, not a scandal, but he had the Taylor Swift issue in 2009 when they say he was drunk or for Hennessy, and that's why he did it, and it was just a bunch of nonsense.
SPEAKER_05So they got pictures of him in the crowd with the penny bottle.
SPEAKER_14Allegedly, wait, 2010 was his comeback, and that's what we saw with the Fridays. Yeah, hell yeah. I loved first of all, there's a video of I'ma play the I'ma play that Kanye video when we talk about Michael. I'm gonna get into that in a second. SPEAKER_14Usher featuring Will I Am OMG.
SPEAKER_04Oh my, right? Love that song. Yo, that song. That was a summer, boy.
SPEAKER_14Oh, oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Oh, oh, oh, yes, that was the summer.
SPEAKER_14No, that was a lit summer. Oh, that's that is my 2010, bro. That's the year we graduated. Yeah, not all of y'all.
SPEAKER_04My bad.
SPEAKER_12Oh, it's telling about damn business.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, we graduated in 2010.
SPEAKER_04That was a that was a it was such a lit summer.
SPEAKER_14Yo, the thing about graduation and nobody talks about is when you graduate high school, if you're not going away to college, it's like, oh, okay, so now what?
SPEAKER_04Working like the school I the school I got into, I end up not going to, I end up going to my backup because I ended up graduating two months later.
SPEAKER_14I said if you're not going away to school, because I went to I went to community college, but I didn't go away to school. It's kind of like you're doing the same thing, it's like nothing really changes after high school if you don't go away. I wish I would have gone away to university.
SPEAKER_12Um, seems nice. Um, so I C D C would have had three kids by now. College, yeah.
SPEAKER_14I C D C college. I definitely probably would have had three kids by now. Um oh we got Miguel Short Thing.
SPEAKER_13Well, that was happening to Miguel.
SPEAKER_14What happened to Miguel? Yeah, he's fucked up after sure thing. I could have sworn he was about to blow up for real.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, nah, you could be the guys. I'll be the yeah, nah. That song was fire. Now I think about it. That song was fire as fuck.
SPEAKER_14We got Alicia Keys, I'm ready, slash, unthinkable, um, Maxwell Pretty Wings, uh, Monica Stay, Jennifer Hudson, where you are. Um, some good albums, some albums that came out was Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Eminem Recovery, Drake Thank Me Later. Yes, then Rick Ross, Teflon Don.
SPEAKER_04Fire. That was definitely a fire album.
SPEAKER_14Oh, Nicki Minaj Pink Friday. Uh duh.
SPEAKER_05Nobody cares about that.
SPEAKER_14Yes, no, yeah, yes, they yes, they do. Don't watch your mouth. That's her debut album into the um music industry, so yeah.
SPEAKER_05Um was she a Republican then, or they converted?
SPEAKER_14Yeah, she said, I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney. You what did she say? You broke bitches is fucking up the economy. Yeah, she's been Republican. Um, see, I wasn't listening to the music.
SPEAKER_00Y'all just fast forwarding so y'all wasn't listening to what's in the new chicken wraps.
SPEAKER_12It's crazy.
SPEAKER_14Yo, man. This episode, it was really free in my head. Uh, we also have Usher Raven versus Raymond, Monica Still Standing, Alicia Keys, the Element of Freedom. It came out in 2009, but it was dominating 2010. Fantasia back to me. Um, other things that happened in 2010 was uh that was the year, uh, what was I gonna say?
SPEAKER_13Um, okay.
SPEAKER_14So in sports and culture, that was a year that LeBron James made his quote unquote the decision. And he announced it live on ESPN that he's joining the Miami Heat, one of the most controversial sports moments of all time. And um, that's when the big three formed in Miami LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Christopher Bosch. I can never say Christopher Bosch's name without the memes of him getting champagne poured in his mouth.
SPEAKER_04It's a fairy for real.
SPEAKER_12She was a fairy, yeah.
SPEAKER_04He was always wilding, he was always wilding, it never failed, and it's always those type of niggas who be having fire ass girlfriends. It's a cover, bro. It's a cover, it's crazy. Uh he was dead pouring champagne on himself, like like, yeah, no boy.
SPEAKER_14It says the um the Charlie Sheen meltdown era begins, brewing. Is that about the time when it was though? Remember those videos? Um, when in um when in um when in wasn't that chart Charlie Sheen? Y'all know what I'm talking about?
SPEAKER_04No, uh that's when Charlie Sheen. Is that when everybody found out he had AIDS?
SPEAKER_14It was it was a lot going on.
SPEAKER_04He had a lot going on for real. Well Charlie Sheen have been through so much shit.
SPEAKER_14Yes, he was he went through a lot. I think there was just a documentary on him recently, if I'm if I'm not mistaken But it was something about him talking about winning. That's when people started saying win.
SPEAKER_05Like if you Yeah, yeah, I remember that.
SPEAKER_14And yeah, whatever. Whatever. Um Tiger Woods scandal fallout continues. Um the aftermath of the Michael Jackson death continues.
SPEAKER_04Um kept fucking up. Tiger Woods kept fucking up.
SPEAKER_11He really did, like he was still fucking up. He was recently fucking up too. Yes, he got the VY.
SPEAKER_14The rise of Instagram culture was about to happen. Instagram launched in 2010. Um, smartphones and social media started shaping how entertainment spreads. Blogs like World Star Hip Hop were influencing hip hop culture heavy. Yes, they were. The same room is is literally the new world star. Um what else do we have? Um I think they said this is the year that um Barack Obama launched um um what what's this medical what's this shit?
SPEAKER_03Obamacare.
SPEAKER_14Obamacare, yeah. There you go. There you go. That was yeah, that shit. Um but yeah, that's that's pretty much all I got for 2010, y'all. Brought to you by Chat GPT.
SPEAKER_05That was a good music here. I like that. Love it.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, it was. It was. I remember how much I hated LeBron James that year for that. Oh my, I don't know why, like, I'm not obviously I don't know how to do it. I was here for it. No, I wasn't because I don't I don't like how all of these celebrities, like, I mean, when all these big NBA stars, they always tease the idea of going to New York. Like, for for I don't know, I don't know if they do it for clout or whatever it is, but like he was definitely like heavy on going to New York, so everyone thought that when he made his decision he was going to New York, he's like, I'm going to Miami. And it's like, nigga, what? And I hated LeBron James for at least like 10 years after that. Like, I could not stand LeBron James, but he's great. Oh my gosh, did y'all see the video of Tahiri talking about LeBron James?
SPEAKER_04No, oh I didn't.
SPEAKER_12I haven't seen her in so long.
SPEAKER_04How was she looking? Oh, that's not looking good. Mark is what you're fire.
SPEAKER_14Wait, ain't she cooking now with no panthers?
SPEAKER_04She's doing it all, boy.
SPEAKER_14No, she's not doing that. She ain't cooking.
SPEAKER_04Oh, who's that? Who's the other one? Who's the other who's that? Who's the one cooking with the cheeks out there?
SPEAKER_14No, she's hearing cooking. I mean, she's cutting here. That's what she's doing. Oh, okay. Yeah, she's cutting. Yeah, okay. Okay, okay. I missed something with the ass out. That's all we knew, CC. That's all we knew.
SPEAKER_11The ass was out.
SPEAKER_12Let me go to the group chat that y'all did. I was in love with her from Joe Budden TV. I used to love their arguments.
SPEAKER_05That was love and hip hop before loving hip-hop.
SPEAKER_12For real. I'm about to play.
SPEAKER_07Oh, LeBron Jones might actually be the greatest basketball player of all times. I mean, that's kind of hard for me to admit, I ain't gonna lie. Because I used to be a LeBron hater. But hear me out. Not because he wasn't great, because we all know he is, but because I'm a huge, huge Kobe fan. But at some point, you've got to give respect words, due.
SPEAKER_15To Harry, to Harry, to Harry, to him, to Harry. He's badfoot. Hang on. Listen to me. I'm gonna tell you what the people really want to say. We don't give a fuck about what you think about LeBron or Kobe. How much is a haircut? Because I've been asking you for some time, and nine times out of ten, this has been on my mind. How much is a haircut? Because you in there trying to have real barbershop talk. No, we don't care. Look, his haircut is done. He's just sitting in there letting you do whatever you want to do for fun. And he keeps sneaking looks at your buns. I'm trying to tell you how much is a fucking haircut. You're talking about I like LeBron. I like Kobe. No, you ever seen LeBron dunk? That's what we're trying to do to your trunk.
SPEAKER_04His hairline kind of fucked up. Hey, yo.
SPEAKER_13I think he got that bowl cut little thing going on. He got the zigzag, the zigzag.
SPEAKER_04I was looking like, damn, that line a little fucked up.
SPEAKER_12Oh Harry, if you need anybody to work them cameras, baby, call me immediately.
SPEAKER_05Had no idea that video had uh audio.
SPEAKER_12Twice my ass. His ass washed the board of that.
SPEAKER_14Before uh, since we were talking about interviews, before we get into the Michael movie, I do want to say I watched I watched a hot and bothered interview with Melissa Ford uh when she interviewed Clarissa Shields. And I just want to say that I watched this interview because Melissa Ford said the same thing that I was saying on this podcast, maybe about a month or two ago. And I was saying, I hate that Clarissa Shields' romantic life is overshadowing how amazing and how great she is as a boxer and everything that she's done for women's boxing and boxing in general. No one talks about that or thinks about that. They just care about her relationship and clowning her. And um, I felt like this interview was her gonna give her a chance to, you know, spread her wings and really just just you know, just to see a different side of her. And oh my gosh, I couldn't finish the interview, y'all. I I was just so annoyed. Because a shout out to Melissa Ford, because I didn't know she was still doing hot and bothered, and but she did say that in the beginning. She said, you know, it's been a while, but we're back, blah blah blah. So, you know, shout out to her. But she kept trying to talk about different things, but Clarissa kept bringing up Pat Poose. Oh gosh, and it's clear, yeah, like she kept doing it, and Melissa just kept trying to like segue to something else. Segue, oh, we'll get into that and talk about this and talk about that. She just kept bringing up Pat Poose. She's even talking about practice in camp and goes, you know, and Pat was there. And I'm just like, what the hell? But um, it's just this thing when Clarissa Shields talks about boxing and fighting, she has like this this glow to her, you know. I'm saying, like she really loves what she does, and you just want to talk to her more about it because when she does talk about it, she's very interested, but it's like not for too long because then she just starts talking about papoose. And um it just it just the interview was just annoying, it it annoyed me so bad, it really did. And then at one point, she brought up Pat Pooose, and Melissa said, Listen, we'll talk about that in a second, but I do see that you have a lawsuit pending against 50 Cent. Would you drop that lawsuit if he agreed to get in the ring with you? And she said, I would drop that lawsuit if he agrees to get in the ring with Pat Poose. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god.
SPEAKER_14So Melissa said, wait a minute, Pat Poos got hands like that. I didn't know that. She said, Girl, everybody in New York knows that. I said, Hold on, man. Don't do that. Who knew that?
SPEAKER_12Besides Remy's boyfriend, don't you? Who knew that?
SPEAKER_11They seem to knock one nigga out.
SPEAKER_04Who knew that? You know how strong you gonna get.
SPEAKER_11You see somebody some you see, you know how strong you gonna get. You gonna see your wife got Christmas photos with some other nigga?
SPEAKER_12Strong as fuck. Turn into a super sand. You know what I'm saying? You hit that nigga with all your might. But yeah, that's the only fight I heard about Papu's.
SPEAKER_14She said, You asked anybody from New York, they know Papu's got hands. I said, Why is she talking for me, bitch? Don't talk for me, please. But the thing is, I don't care. That Joe beat him up.
SPEAKER_12What if that Joe beat a couple of people up, according to that? Nah, y'all serious?
SPEAKER_05I'm pretty sure that yeah, that was a thing back then. Then they eventually squashed it because Remy, but oh yeah, I heard that, Mark.
SPEAKER_12I heard something like that.
SPEAKER_04So he didn't he didn't make a tight fist and watch it crumble ridiculous. Shut up, nigga.
SPEAKER_12I'm like, sound familiar. Yo, that was funny, I mean. I'm like, this sounds so familiar. Make it crumble ridiculous. Like, shut up.
SPEAKER_11This shit is wicked.
SPEAKER_12Yo, oh man. That was funny.
SPEAKER_14Yo, I'm not gonna lie, I don't give a fuck what Clarissa is talking about. 50 will not he will beat the shit out of my pools.
SPEAKER_04Like, okay, he had oh. You got him out here sparring with you doing your little one, two, one, two. 50 was out here really in the gym with Floyd for real. For real.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, that's a fact. And you are boxer, so you should know just by him having that weight advantage that hit that one hit to the cheek is gonna do you in, my boy. Like a lightweight, not even a lightweight for real. And that hat is going flying.
SPEAKER_11I swear to god, he is. Do rag and all you're not taking this.
SPEAKER_04That's I that's a fact. He's wearing that shit.
SPEAKER_14Yo, hold on, wait, hold on. I gotta say one more thing about this interview. She hated it. She hated with her whole guts. Yo, she said, and she finally started letting her talk about Pat Pooh. She said, Oh, we knew we we love, we were in love from the moment we seen each other. Melissa goes like love at first sight. She goes, Yes, from the moment we seen each other. I seen him and I said, Oh, he's cute. And I invited him to another one of my fights. And I didn't know if he was gonna come when he came, but I just knew he was the one. But Pat Poose just recently did an interview. I don't know if you guys seen the interview.
SPEAKER_12Yes, well, he was like, Do y'all live together? Nah, never. Something like that. What she got her own properties.
SPEAKER_14I have my own property. Yes, he was like, they was like, Well, how did y'all start dealing with each other? He was like, you know. He was like, It was on accident because you know, anybody that knows me knows I love boxing, like I really love boxing, and I'm always at all the fights and da da da. So I went to her fight, you know, and she invited me to another one. So I'm like, cool, she's a cool chick. But the way Clarissa was saying it was that they seen each other, it was just in love off the rip. Yo, and it's like, yo, they asked Pat Poo's like, yo, so we heard that you might possibly like proposed, like, you know, you guys might get married. He was like, Oh, married never. Or something like he said, something like that.
SPEAKER_12Yo, he said, he said, never a ring. That's what he said. That's what he said. Yeah, he was like, Um, there was some other stuff, so I got her some nice gifts. You know, her birthday came, uh, but um, yeah, never a ring.
SPEAKER_14But then she's she in this interview, like, Pat wants me to be pregnant right now, and he wanted to marry me, and he wants me to have his babies, and he he's mad that I got two more fights this year because he wants me to be pregnant right now. He wants me to have his kids. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, she's very adamant on the thing, like when she wants to have the kids. She said this year, right?
SPEAKER_14Yeah, she said he wants her to have a kid this year, but she got two more fights, so she can't do it.
SPEAKER_04They're ridiculous, bro. They're on the same page. Now I'm starting to think more and more this shit might be really a scandal.
SPEAKER_14No, this breakup is gonna scan.
SPEAKER_04This shit is a scam.
SPEAKER_14She's gonna Monica Lewinsky, that nigga. I'm telling you, it's not even, I mean, I mean Monica Lewinsky.
SPEAKER_02I said the wrong Monica Lewinsky. I said the wrong name. Lorena Bobby?
SPEAKER_14Yeah, Lorena Bobby. Yeah, she's gonna be a big thing.
SPEAKER_12That's your old name.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, she got Lorena Name. Yo, Lorena Bobby. That used to be my old uh something name, Instagram, some shit. I don't know. You're scary. Yeah, I am. Um yo, sidebar. Since we talk about fighting and shit, one of these these girls in my school, whatever, she got caught with pepper spray. You know, I'm talking, I'm just chopping them over. I'm like, yo, why why are you bringing pepper spray to school? Like, miss, I got beef. I'm like, yo, you can't fight. Like, I'm confused. She said, No, I'm not fighting. At least she's honest.
SPEAKER_05I said, I said, but you can't try.
SPEAKER_14She said, Miss, did you used to fight when you were in school? I said, Hell yeah. Wouldn't lose a draw. I was fighting. She said, Miss, but I don't fight like that. She said, My sister could fight, but not me. But my sister not here, so it's just me. Like, these bitches try to fight me. I said, Yeah, and then you're going to jail, you pepper spray these girls. I said, Especially let me be around. I get pepper spray, girl. You definitely go to jail. What the fuck? Like, it affects so many people. Yes. I said, it affects me. She said then she goes, Miss, who be stupid enough to stand around and see me backing out some pepper spray and still stand there. I said, Girl, this is a school. Like, it's not like you know what I'm saying? Like, there's gonna be gonna run up to try and stop you. There's not many places to go. Like, you in a hallway, you back at the pepper spray. So many people not even gonna know you.
SPEAKER_04Everybody who walk into that hallway, done. Done. Just random people walking.
SPEAKER_12That shit burns everybody.
SPEAKER_11Out that school and her.
SPEAKER_14When I was talking to one of the deans about it, he was like, Oh man, I'm mad she got caught. I was hoping I was around with she peppers her. I'm going on paid leave.
SPEAKER_12But I said, No, for real. For real, walk into the mist off on purpose. That's a fact, game. Ah, she got me too. Yo, she got me too. I need off. That's it.
SPEAKER_14And this chick is crazy. Yo, and this is the this is the craziest thing. About like a week or two ago, she said, Miss, y'all remember when we was in school and we used to like get perfume and a lighter and like yeah, make a flame, a torch. Or the air freshener. Yeah. So she asked me, like, miss, what do you think will make a a a larger flame? Like, um, she was like, perfume or something else, or like, or like uh cleaning, like um something. I'm like, why you asking me that? Like, she's like, I just I don't know. So then when they found her pepper spray, she had the pepper spray in a lighter. I said, No, no, no, you yeah, she was really about to be a motherfucker.
SPEAKER_12She's about to a grilled rib out here.
SPEAKER_11She's about to blow everything up.
SPEAKER_12She's gonna blow her damn self up, blow her whole can up, everything. Fourth of July came early, though.
SPEAKER_14She said, No heat, don't it? I said, Girl, you was going to jail.
SPEAKER_04She said, What you've been trying to make a flamethrower, you need an axe can you need an axe axe spray, do that.
SPEAKER_14I said, Girl, you can't do all of that in high school, girl. You're just gonna have to learn how to fight, baby girl. You can't for real. I said, And you in high school, everybody knows you in high school, girl. It's security, like the fight, not gonna last. That is so crazy. You're not gonna get beat up that bad if you can't fight, girl.
SPEAKER_04It's not gonna be that's why people drag it out. They wait till they start getting louder and louder, they wait until they see security, and then that's when they throw hands.
SPEAKER_14Nah, for real. Like, come on, girl.
SPEAKER_04It's not real security, don't let you duke it out for a little bit.
SPEAKER_14Not especially if it's one you don't like, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Let her get Molly Whopped a little bit, then stop it. I still remember when Nate beat up all them security guards. I'll never forget their shit. Slam Mr. Richardson right on his neck. We ain't even handling that.
SPEAKER_13That's crazy.
SPEAKER_14All right, y'all. So let's talk about this Michael movie. Yeah. Ali, I was very surprised that you went to see it. I was surprised, but then I wasn't surprised because I I know how much you love Michael Jackson when I love Michael Jackson, but I thought you were gonna wait till like you could watch it on your fire stick or something. I didn't think he was gonna go through the movie thing.
SPEAKER_04Yo, it's funny because it was like maybe two in the morning. Me and Janet was laying up when we were smoking, and she goes, Oh man, you seen that uh the Michael Jackson movie came out. I said, What? I said, No, that shit ain't gonna come out yet. It don't come out to the 24th or the 25th or whatever. She was like, Yeah, babe, it came out. I said, Yo, it didn't fucking come out. I went, I went on um the the movie theater's website. I say, Oh shit, it did come out, man. I ordered the the first tickets for this morning, and I got my what I love Michael Jackson. I was I was so mad I missed it, but I was I was working, I had so much shit going on, packing up my crib and shit. But man, we went and we had a good time. I was in there having a blast. You brought all the kids? Hell nah, it was just me and Janet on a little date.
SPEAKER_14So who watches four kids when y'all are going out?
SPEAKER_04My mom watches four kids. Oh my mom really just staying with the babies. Yeah, my mom lives in South Carolina.
SPEAKER_13Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04My mom and my sister live out here.
SPEAKER_13Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_04But your sister don't rock with you like that, right? Nah, me and my sister cool again.
SPEAKER_05Me and my sister cool again.
SPEAKER_04Glad y'all squashed the beef. Yeah, we we do, we always squash the beef sooner or later.
SPEAKER_14Oh, it's funny because I was trying to go with my mom. I'm like, Ma, you want to go to see the Michael movie? She said, hell no. I'm like, why? She said, Michael Who? I said, What you mean, Michael Who? The Mike. She said, Michael Jackson. I said, Yeah, she said, why the fuck would I go see a Michael Jackson movie? Like, I know everything about him. What is there to see in the movie? I was like, wait, are you serious? I was really like offended by that. But then I went into it. I went into this movie, right? I seen a lot of people talking about it, but anytime I seen someone talking about it, because even though it premiered Friday night, um, it was early showings for the past week. You know what I'm saying? And people been talking about it, and I've been like just scrolling past it because I wanted to go into it like just as like with a clear mind, like not knowing who's in the movie, what stars is playing in it, any of that. I just wanted to the only thing I knew was that Michael Jackson's nephew was playing Michael. That's all I knew going into the movie, and I feel like that was the best way to go into it. Um, and I also knew that Janet Jackson was not gonna be in the movie, which I I just watching it, I thought that was so crazy how they did it because all you kept seeing was La Toya. Like, you ain't the only female Jackson, like there's a whole nother superstar that's the next best thing to Michael, and she's not even in this movie at all. I thought that was so crazy to me. Like, I I just I just don't understand how Janet Jackson is not portrayed in this movie at all. Like, he her Janet and Michael were like really best friends, and if Michael was here, he wouldn't want to have that movie without Janet being in it. Like, he would not be okay with that. Um, but I figured out I don't know why, I want to know why she said it, but I figured out why. I think I know why Janet didn't want to be in a movie now that I actually looked at everything now. Now that I watched the movie, I'm actually looking at stuff. And apparently they agreed that this movie was going to have the allegations, and um, you guys know what I mean by the allegations and stuff like that. That was that was going to be in the movie up until maybe a year ago, I believe, or a year and a because this movie's been in the works for some years, yeah. And I think they said in at the end of 2024, they first of all, they said that they had to do $15 million in reshoots for this movie. And um they decided not to include that because the family of the first person that came out with the allegations that they had a settlement for, one of the agreements for the settlement was that they can never use his story or this situation in any type of biopic or anything like that. So they actually had to take all of that stuff out, and maybe I'm just I'm just you know, in my opinion, maybe Janet didn't want to be a part of it because that stuff was gonna be in it, and she just wasn't, you know what I'm saying? She wasn't gonna get down with that.
SPEAKER_12Right, but it's like he biggest so long, highlight his the good things because yeah, before he passed, it was all all of that was already going on, right?
SPEAKER_14But um and then when the movie was over, I was like, that's it.
SPEAKER_04Like I was kind of just I definitely felt that way too at the end. You mean his story continues, it'll continue the story, motherfucker.
SPEAKER_05Why don't you already the next one comes out in 2028, I believe. Yeah, 2028. That's wild. That's wild.
SPEAKER_14I think they said there's gonna be two or three more movies after this.
SPEAKER_04Clearly, they just trying to make money off of it, but I understand. It was good.
SPEAKER_14What did you guys think about the movie? Ali, I'll let you go. How how did you feel about it?
SPEAKER_04Um, I said I think I said to Janet, I ain't gonna lie, I give it like a uh an eight, an 8.5 or a 9. I don't give it a 10. I think it could have been better. I think it could have highlighted a little more things about Michael Jackson. I think it could have been longer, like you said, and it abruptly just ended after the tour, and how, you know, how how they just had his story continues, and then the damn credits just popped up. I I really wasn't feeling that. Um I think it's just, you know, certain things they could have just highlighted a lot more, especially from the time frame, the the way that they were skipping years. But I liked it. I think I think the stars that was in it was good. I think his his nephew looked a lot like him. I don't know how much they edited to make him look like him. Um, because I haven't really looked at Jafar without all this Michael stuff, but I think it was a pretty good movie.
SPEAKER_14I I also I have to agree with you, Ali. I really enjoyed the movie. I was singing and dancing the entire time. I was lit. I love the movie, and I was disappointed too until I realized because of the continuation, this movie didn't even hit the 90s yet. So it ended in like it ended in like the late 80s, I believe. That's when the movie ended. So that's another reason why you feel so underwhelmed with information because they didn't get to it. Um, but I really did love the movie. However, when I watched the movie, I realized I picked the two the two wrong motherfuckers to go with to this movie because maybe I was sad, they were slump body next to me. Like I'm in there dancing, I'm singing the whole time. I look to the right, CC is knocked out. I look to the left, Mark. I don't know what Mark was. Damn. Y'all thought I was being distraught.
SPEAKER_04We would have had the time, Key, because I was in there having a blast. The people next to me, we was in there cracking up. Yes, was funny.
SPEAKER_14Yes, I was cracking out of the shit.
SPEAKER_04I wasn't expecting it to be so funny.
SPEAKER_14The surrounding people, like they were lit, but the two I was in between, not so lit. And this is how I knew, right? Cece said she thought she was gonna be she was being discreet. This is how I knew that um Cece was falling asleep because I I got us a large bucket of popcorn, and we're both eating the popcorn, and this is the type of person I am. I'm realizing that she eats she digging in the butt bucket more than I am. I'm one of those people, like, goddamn, like she's eating that bitch. Shut up. I've never eaten popcorn around jail. No, never tearing that shit up. No, because you know why? The the top of the popcorn is the best because that's where you put the butter and butter and everything. Once you get to the middle, it don't get down there. You know what I'm saying? So the top part, right, is the best, that's the best part at the top.
SPEAKER_04So I realize that tell them to do it halfway. Are they filling it up? Here you'll put some butter in there, then put more, and then do it at the top.
SPEAKER_14My parts make them load that you do it yourself at the this movie theater, like they the butter and the sauce out for you. So you you can't I just try to shake it above so much, but it's not, it's not much you can do, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04I got you, I got you.
SPEAKER_14But um, at some point I noticed she wasn't even in the bucket no more. But by this time, it's in the middle part where it's just not really it even matter no more. And I'm just like, what the hell happened to her? And then I look, she is knocked out, and I'm like, Oh my gosh, she is sleeping, and then Mark is just out, and I'm like, what the fuck is going on? She was in between the sleepy sandwich.
SPEAKER_12Niggas was tired, yo. I was never went to the movie theater that early. And when we left the house, I forgot it was daytime.
SPEAKER_14Shoot, yeah. We went to the 12:30 showing. Um, I didn't want to go to the early movie, but then I I thought like Mark said, it's actually better we do it that way, so we have enough time to actually record and talk about it, so it worked out. Um, I'm used to getting up early, so to me it was nothing. It was it was amazing. It was, I just had a really good, I really enjoyed the movie. I can't believe people said that they didn't like it.
SPEAKER_04They're tripping.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, I really love and then somebody uh one of my homegirls was like, Well, you know it was good, but Jafar, he really can't hit the moves like Michael girl. Nobody can hit the moves.
SPEAKER_04Nobody can. What the fuck?
SPEAKER_12If you went right, y'all going into it with the wrong idea. That's the wrong news.
SPEAKER_04I was going with them celebrating him with the story of him, like a uh a more in-touch documentary than we've seen in a long time, highlighting and bringing Michael Jackson to this day and age. A lot of people don't respect the greatness, the legacy of Michael Jackson, the greatest artist of all time. Right, no way. Man, I was up there. That shit the first show was 11:30. I was there at 11:30.
SPEAKER_14Yo, I'm not sure. Yes, me too. I was I was so ready, I couldn't wait. Uh, and one of my favorite parts in the movie is when that truck pulled up to the house. I knew that was gonna be bubbles in that truck. For real. Yes, she was like, Where the hell a monkey come from? I'm like, that's bubbles, like what you mean.
SPEAKER_12That's the only thing I didn't the AI, because I could tell so much that it was AI. That was the only thing I'm like, does he bite?
SPEAKER_04Does he bite? He looked at his pops and it was so cute though. He says a couple things about chimps, they either you know run away in fear or they attack, like so they sensitive, so don't play with my chimp. He's gonna fuck you up.
SPEAKER_14Listen, if y'all didn't know that Michael Jackson had a pet monkey named Bubbles, I'll go back to the book. You ain't no real fan. You ain't no real fan. I knew I was waiting for the biggest.
SPEAKER_12I'm like, definitely remember the bucky. I did not know.
SPEAKER_04You ain't know about his rat. If you ain't know about Ben, you ain't no real, if you don't know, you ain't no real fan.
SPEAKER_14You would know the rat from the the uh the Jackson movie, uh American Dream. You would know that. But Bubbles I love that movie classic movie, yeah.
SPEAKER_04But um Smart Guy, what's what's his name? Smart Guy's brother, what's his name? Jason Weaver. Jason Weaver. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. He was Michael Jackson. Wait, what? Jason Weaver was Michael Jackson in the Jackson 5 movie. The American Dream. Was he really?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I gotta rewatch that. I don't remember that.
SPEAKER_14I like the I like the cat, I like the the young boy that played Michael in this movie, like the young one. Um I think he did a good job, but the AI bubbles was hilarious. But it's just it's just safer to do an AI monkey because monkeys are very unpredictable and they're very aggressive.
SPEAKER_12They would have been breaking cameras and all that.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it was just a lot more. You can't really train a monkey like that for a movie. It was it would have been bad. So it just it made sense. But Michael used to have bubbles with him in like the interviews and all of that. Like, he did not give a damn. He loved bubbles, that was his guy. Um, but yeah, y'all don't remember when um Nicki Minaj called uh Lil Kim Bubbles.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god.
SPEAKER_14No, I'm deadass. You don't remember? No, because Cece said she didn't know his name was Bubbles. Nicki Minaj called, she said, Look, Bubbles, go back to your habitat.
SPEAKER_12MJ gone and I ain't having that.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, she called her monkey. MJ gone and I ain't having that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, Mark Peeps. Look at that face.
SPEAKER_14She said, How you gonna be a stunt double to the nigga monkey? Like, that's crazy. Um, but nah, I didn't know Neilong was playing Catherine Jackson either. I had no idea.
SPEAKER_03How did you feel about that?
SPEAKER_14Um, the fact that they like they aged her and she still looks really good was very was very funny to me. Like she looks really good, even though they didn't. Angela Bassett. Um, yeah, I don't think I I don't know. Catherine didn't have she didn't have many, like Neil Long didn't have many lines in the movie, you know what I'm saying? Mother's tired.
SPEAKER_04I should have protected you.
SPEAKER_14Mother's tired. Mother loves you, mother'll be back. She didn't it wasn't really much input, it was Joe.
SPEAKER_05And I I think Joe was a piece of shit. I like the Joe Jackson movie.
SPEAKER_14Yo, for it was the Joe Jackson movie. Bro, I oh I've been saying this for so many years. Joe Jackson doesn't get the credit that he deserves. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_11Fuck it was the Joe Jackson movie.
SPEAKER_14He he created the Michael Jackson. Like, y'all don't like I know people like to hate Joe Jackson because he abused him, but at the end of the day, he made Michael Jackson into who he is. Like, even when the part where um his hair set on fire and he told the doctor, like, yo, he has to dance, he go be himself. And I said, That's a fact. Because he was like, You are terrible. No, it's true, it's fucked up, but it's true. It's true. He he wouldn't have been able to live with himself knowing he couldn't perform anymore.
SPEAKER_04I have yo, I have my whole road laughing because I said to Jamie, can you imagine getting your ass beat and then have to go get up and sing and dance for everybody?
SPEAKER_12And they only high and they only highlighted two ass whoopings, that was Michael's. Them other boys need a voice.
SPEAKER_14For right. Well, you know what? Yeah, Joe, I feel like, yeah, if he he was a little bit of an asshole, but at the same time, he also like if Michael get out of the hood, man. If if Michael Yes, but if Michael didn't love dance, uh like you know, dancing and singing and performing, it wouldn't have been the way it was. He actually loved it. So he dealt with it until he couldn't. Remember, he was like, I'ma look him right in his eyes and I'm gonna tell him he's fired. He said, I need y'all to go tell my father that he's fired.
SPEAKER_11Said this nigga a fax. Yo, everybody was scared. Yo, everybody was scared of him.
SPEAKER_14He was he's scary as fuck. No, that wasn't even the fact. The facts wasn't even the first time. The first time was when he was trying to leave from his management at Motown. He told him that. He was like, He's like, I want, you know, he said, I need you to tell him that I'm going, um I want to go solo. He said, Oh man, I need a drink.
SPEAKER_04He said, I own that motherfucker from nine to five. He said, After that. If you want to make a song at midnight, then be my guest.
SPEAKER_14And he really was performing. I also knew when he went to go meet up with the Bloods and the Crips, I knew that's when Thriller was about to happen. Because I remember I knew that was about to happen. Like I was like, Oh, yeah, we get into the nitty-gritty. Like, it's getting lit. That's fire.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, one of the best, the best album of all time. Fuck that.
SPEAKER_12I love the movie for what I seen, you know, dipping in and out.
SPEAKER_04Man, nah, fuck out of here, CC. Fuck out of here. Right, no, fuck out of here.
SPEAKER_12They did a great job with his makeup and his voice. It was the voice sound um like my nah.
SPEAKER_14Ali, I was low-key pissed because I'm like, wait, what? How are you sleeping here? Yeah, but you said through that whole Beyonce bullshit, but you know that because I might need to die. That was amazing. But the Beyonce shit was just a freaking uh a behind the scenes of her tour. It wasn't even like a real movie. This was an actual movie.
SPEAKER_12A baby, my eyes is my eyes gotta be open for beyond do something different to my body. Yeah, and Beyonce.
SPEAKER_05That's funny that you said that I felt like this was a documentary, uh, a concert documentary to me. This shit in real like a real like a biopic. They didn't get into no details, they rushed through half of his life.
SPEAKER_04Like, yeah, it wasn't as detailed as it should have been.
SPEAKER_05I felt this shit was mid to me. I ain't gonna lie. Like, if it wasn't for that intoxicating loud ass music, I would have fallen asleep too.
SPEAKER_14But what else was y'all missing? Like, you gotta understand it it stopped at when his career was about to take off a real because you gotta remember, yeah. You gotta remember, he just like like they showed in there, he was the first black person to be put on MTV, and that's when thriller came out and all of that, and that's when he just started to take off, but that's when they ended the movie, right? When that shit was starting, we didn't even get to the 90s yet.
SPEAKER_05So I feel like before you even fast forward to the 90s, I'm pretty sure there's way more stuff that happened in his life leading up to that. Yeah, where's Diana Ross?
SPEAKER_14Where's Diana Ross was in there, but they never showed him and her a personal relationship. But she's in there. Remember, she was performing and he was in the back, and he was he was remembered with the blue silk uh see, right? Exactly. They never got it too.
SPEAKER_04They could have they ain't going to they ain't going to my man. Uh which one of them? Was it Jermaine that went solo?
SPEAKER_12Yeah. He played it multiple. It definitely had him dressing the way he was.
SPEAKER_04He briefly mentioned it, but they didn't get into any details about it. Yeah, nah, man. It was it was just it was just a lot. It was just a lot. They they didn't do the they didn't do the the iconic uh photo with him with the monkey, and uh it's it's a couple things that they could have did.
SPEAKER_05Oh, fake ass monkey, man. That ai shit pissed me off.
SPEAKER_14No, the AI monkey was the AI bubbles, it was crazy.
SPEAKER_04That shit was crazy.
SPEAKER_14It's just safer to do it that way.
SPEAKER_04Them shits is dangerous.
SPEAKER_12He's gonna leave the snake there where this is crazy.
SPEAKER_05They could have definitely got a real monkey.
SPEAKER_12You know how strong that shit is. That would have been scared around his ass. All he gotta do is get the animals away.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, dead ass. That's a that's a that's a that's a huge risk having that. That I think they could have done a better AI uh bubble.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because that shit was fake as fuck.
SPEAKER_05All the AI in the movie was too fake, like the crowds during the concerts.
SPEAKER_04I'm like, yo, this is yeah, the way they had all the lights on this shit. The shit definitely look a little under budget. For real. That's because it was only little uh La Toya didn't even get Latoya and Marlin. That's what that was it.
SPEAKER_14Every time I seen LaToya, I started rolling my eyes. Yo, he even with her like that. It was really, it was like weird.
SPEAKER_04Oh, he got his nose done. She took him out. So, oh, I don't get nine done. Yeah, we know.
SPEAKER_05Didn't she testify again too? Yes, yes, yes, she did. Yes, get her the fuck out of here.
SPEAKER_14She's drinking money too. She's like her daddy. I'm telling you, that's why Janet. I was telling my homegirl because when she seen on Friday, and she was telling, well, she seen it Thursday night, actually. I don't know how she got that privilege, but she seen it Thursday night. She seen it somewhere in the city, they had a premiere for it, and she was telling me, she's like, you know, I think it's crazy that Janet didn't want to be there. You think they didn't fuck with each other? I said, No, hell no. Him and her were like best friends. You don't remember they made whole songs together, like they loved each other.
SPEAKER_04They loved each other, they were best friends.
SPEAKER_14I said, but the thing is, it whatever is going on in this movie, she must have been. Right. And she's also a perfectionist the way he's a perfectionist when it came to everything. So if it's not perfect to what she thinks it should be, she's not gonna meet pressuring me.
SPEAKER_04Yo, they should have, yeah, they should have. Man, there's so much shit to think of the dead boy. I love me some Janet Jackson.
SPEAKER_14And uh one thing I can say I didn't like about it was uh aside from the Janet Janet Jackson not being in the movie, which I feel like it just that's another reason why it made it so awkward because it's like hi, she was also a yeah, where the fuck is Janet? Because then you also get to see it, wasn't like he was she Michael was the only star he had. Then he had Janet, you know what I'm saying? Like he also had her, and she was a big star as well.
SPEAKER_04Like, yep, the Jackson family was just very talented, they played instruments, they did all kind of shit.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, yep.
SPEAKER_04It wasn't just out here just being his backup dancers, they were talented, they were all talented.
SPEAKER_14No, I mean in the beginning, but then at some point they just became all about it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and they branched out, they had to learn. I mean, of course.
SPEAKER_14I mean, but when he that's what I'm saying, once he once he became big, then it was him and it was Janet, you know, it was no more Jackson Fried, but it was Michael and it was Janet, and every once in a blue, they do the Jacksons every 10 years. It's no Janet. That just that that that kind of like Jenny Jackson took off, yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, she took off, man. Oh, I love her music.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, that's that's fucked up. I don't I don't like that. She wasn't in it. Um, it just makes the story so fake because every time I seen La Toya, I'm like, bitch, what the fuck? They in a room hanging out. That that's that wasn't it. That was not it. It wasn't come on at all. He loved his family, but he didn't love them like that.
SPEAKER_04I mean, not like they did not want to play Twister with my nigga.
SPEAKER_14That's like it's just it's just it's just a sibling dynamic. You know what I'm saying? You all you generally have a closer dynamic, a close relationship to certain siblings, but depending on your age. Michael and Janet were the two youngest, so they like they naturally bonded together, you know what I'm saying? Like, that's like them making a biopic of me and me and AJ's besties in the movie the whole time. Like, that don't even make sense.
SPEAKER_04Like well, the next one better start going about uh Diana Ross and Elizabeth Taylor, McCaulay Coken, and and Chris Tucker and all them other niggas. That's what I need to see.
SPEAKER_14But wouldn't McCaulay Coking have been in it? Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04But no, he was in the black and white, and what he would be early 90s then, I think.
SPEAKER_14Because I think I think that came out in like 91, 92, maybe. Because no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_04Cause that came out in dangerous, that was 91.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, okay, all right. So I'm gonna do it. Hey, that's my year, baby, 9-1. That's 91. So, yeah, we didn't get there yet, but because I'm saying when he was doing the Pepsi commercials, um Damn you, Pepsi.
SPEAKER_04Damn his daddy. Now we know it was his daddy that made him do that shit.
SPEAKER_14And then Carlton too. Carlton was in his life.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Carlton loved him.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, that's interesting. Um, let me pull up this clip from Connie.
SPEAKER_04Paul McCartney, like the Beatles, like yo, Michael, what's up on, son? Michael was that guy.
SPEAKER_14Mm-hmm. That's a fact. That's a fact. That that movie, it just even though it was missing a lot.
SPEAKER_04Like, did they even do the we are the world? I don't remember that. No, I don't think that did that come yet. No, it ain't it, isn't that in the 80s?
SPEAKER_05I feel like I don't know, and I feel like they was about to get into that when he was like, Yo, y'all need you to get everybody together, but it was just the Crips of the Bloods. Yeah, that's what I I thought it was the We Are the World moment.
SPEAKER_04You're right. That was 1985. Yeah, come on, son. What the fuck? Oh, that's how they didn't do that. They ain't had the budget, bro. They didn't have the budget for a fake Stevie Wonder and all them other niggas.
SPEAKER_14But you know what made me think about that when he demanded to be on MTV, because the guy that was working for the guy that was in charge of CBS, he was saying you don't get Cindy Lauper, you don't get all these people, all the people that was a part of uh, we all the white people at least that was a part of We Are the World, he named he's like, I'm taking all of them off for MTV if you don't play Michael Jackson. So that's why I was like, that's around the same time when he did We Are the World. I remember that. Not not that I was alive, but I just know from knowing Michael Jackson's history that and they just that's that's really big to skip. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Now that I think about it, they had the fits though, they had my boy looking fire.
SPEAKER_14Nah, the the the costumes and everything was fire, but the fits was fire, but they yeah, nah, that's nah. That just got me tight because even with the second one, you skipped the whole lot that's fit the first one.
SPEAKER_04Come on, bro. That shit Lionel, Richie, Stevie Wondro, all the greats was there. You know what I'm saying? Nah, bro, how you how you not uh touch on that record? That don't make no sense. That record shook the world. That record shook the world, you know what I'm saying? And that's what I was telling Janet, like they're just now getting into when he truly became beyond human. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, he went from being a star, a superstar, a megastar, a uber star to like divine. Like he became next level, and they were just now touching on that. Because off the wall and thriller was was fire, but they still got bad and dangerous and all them other like he yeah, so now I don't know, man. We'll see. We'll see. They could have did better. I still I think it still was a great movie, but they could have done.
SPEAKER_14And the sequel definitely gotta light them up. Lighten them up. No, but now that we're talking about it, we're breaking it down. The sequel was supposed to continue from where it left off.
SPEAKER_04And he's about to get even lighter.
SPEAKER_14They left out so much, like they left out so much stuff in this movie. It's like, how can they, you know what I'm saying? Like, skipping We Are the World is crazy. Like, that is it the fact that those videos are going viral still now in 2026 from behind the scenes of him recording and looking at um Cindy Lauper crazy for how she was singing and all of that, like the his facial expressions, you know what I'm saying? Like, it's just it's so crazy for them to leave that out the movie. Like, how do you how do you do that? That's interesting.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, don't make no sense.
SPEAKER_14Um 32 years ago, okay, that was in the 90s when he performed in the Super Bowl. Okay. Um, nah, there was a a video of Kanye West. I thought I saved it, but I didn't. Kanye West. And he was like, you know, I just never understand. I love Michael Jackson, but I never knew who the fuck was Annie. He just kept saying, Annie, are you okay? Annie, are you okay? He said, but who the fuck is Annie? So it's funny because they're saying all of that, and then um people are saying Annie is from the doll. From um when they used to teach CPR classes. Oh, I found it. Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on. I found it. Um remember how when Mark was saying he did the CPR classes, and there's a song they teach you. What song was it, Mark?
SPEAKER_05Staying Alive.
SPEAKER_14Staying Alive, staying alive, ah, ah, ah, ah, because that the rhythm of that song is, you know. But uh, hold on, here's a here's a Kanye West.
SPEAKER_10I never quite understood who Annie was. And why did it matter if she was okay or not?
SPEAKER_06Annie, you okay? You okay? Are you okay?
SPEAKER_10Are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay, Annie? Annie, are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay, Annie? Annie, are you okay? It's like, okay, I don't think she's okay.
SPEAKER_14Um Annie even responding? So Annie isn't a woman from Michael's life nor a fictional romantic muse. Instead, she comes straight from a CPR training classroom. And first aid courses around the world, the standard resuscitation mannequin is called Recessie Ann, formerly known informally as Annie. The very first step in CPR training is to shake the victim gently and ask, Annie, are you okay? To check for responsiveness. Um, and then I looked at the somebody else posted a picture of the Annie doll. I'm like, oh my gosh, I actually remember that, even though you know I was too young to do it. But this is it. That's the Annie doll. I don't know if you guys have ever seen that before. I've never seen that. That's the Annie doll. So I thought that was very, very funny because we were talking about CPR and his songs and stuff like that, and that used to be the thing. And you are you okay? Because you know, CPR, they they well, I in my training, they told you tap the person twice, boom, boom, yo. Are you okay? Yeah, I'm gonna perform CPR. That's funny, but yeah, I I really did um, I really did love.
SPEAKER_04All I know is that if he really had the Crips and Bloods come together, then he definitely didn't. I know, I know, I know he did. But if he did that, then he definitely called the game and told him to squash his beef with 50 cents. He really did that. I think.
SPEAKER_14Bro, he was not alive when that happened. What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_04He did that shit, bro.
SPEAKER_14Wait, wait, was he alive?
SPEAKER_04Yes, he was.
SPEAKER_14He died in 2010. No, he died in 2009. 2009, yeah. I don't know what year they had the beef. What was that? Oh, six, oh seven.
SPEAKER_05It was like oh four.
SPEAKER_13Yeah, like oh four, oh five. I never heard that. I never heard that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, the game said it. He said that Michael Jackson called him and told him straight up, like him and 50 need a dead to beef.
SPEAKER_05I still don't believe it.
SPEAKER_04I believe that shit, bro. Michael Jackson was locked in. They say he he loved that shit. He loved rap music, he was a nigga. They said he was a real, a real one. You ever see the videos when they be like, you hear Michael Jackson's real voice? Yo, I be cracking up.
SPEAKER_14Okay. We had some um other stuff to talk about, but it's pretty sad, and we're on such a high. I don't want to talk about it, but um. Uh I'm I'm gonna skip it. I'm gonna make the executive decision and skip talking about uh David and the the guy that from Louisiana that um that shot all seven of his children. Woof. Um our prayers go out to everybody involved. David is is really a piece of shit. Um God bless him. I know with him, um, they're gonna really they're using like they found a lot of child pornography and stuff like that on his phone that they're gonna use against him because Bruh, his ass. The young lady who passed away, God bless her soul, rest in peace. Um, you know, she was under under 14 years old when they were allegedly dating, and um then he has child pornography in his phone. So he clearly had an issue, and um, you know, they they had matching tattoos and all types of shit that's leading up to okay, they were clearly dealing with each other romantically. Um, she was seen at his house on live on Twitch and things like that. So it's just a lot and just completely dismissed.
SPEAKER_12And she I didn't even know she had a tattoo of his name, and the finger was missing, two of her fingers was missing. Yeah, they said the one with his name was missing.
SPEAKER_04Insane, bro. Insane.
SPEAKER_12And they he he they dismember her with something sharp, uh sharp object or something like that. That's so sad.
SPEAKER_14And he's saying it alleged that he allegedly did all of this because they got into a fight and she threatened to let the world know about their romantic relationship. Um, so he did that to her, which is is so messed up. Um and then the guy from Louisiana that shot his seven kids and their their cousin. So he killed eight children in total, and then he shot ten people in total, because he he she he shot and killed the eight children, and then um his ex-girlfriend, ex whoever it was that was the mother of the children, he shot her, and then he also shot the cousin, the the the child's cousin that he shot and killed their mom. Um Wow. But the two those two ladies survived. That is so so sad. Yeah, it is sad. I don't want to get into these. I have all the details and everything, but now that we are such a high, I just figured we could just just I I'll address it and we can move on. Um that's really sad. Um yeah. Uh moving on. Uh, what else did I have on the list to discuss?
SPEAKER_04Um fire ass playoffs.
SPEAKER_14No, I didn't have that on the list.
SPEAKER_04Oh, so yeah.
SPEAKER_03Ice spice spice oh where are you from?
SPEAKER_14I'm from McDonald's.
SPEAKER_04No, no, that shit was fire.
SPEAKER_14No, I'm from Wendy's.
SPEAKER_04That Wendy's that Wendy's shit was fire. This is a never heaven at Wendy's.
SPEAKER_14Bro, but I never understood why never heaven at Wendy's. The listeners who don't know, um, I rapper Ice Spice was was sitting. That's another thing for me. Not only was she eating McDonald's, but she was sitting in McDonald's um with a friend, and uh, they're calling her a fan, but she can't be a fan if she's trying to fight with her. Um, a young lady comes up to her and she starts like, you know, just trolling, like, you know, trying to argue with her and be for her. And Ice Spice is trolling the girl until the point where the girl starts swinging on Ice Spice. Um, and Ice Spice tries to fight the girl, whatever. I don't think that girl's hits connected either. I don't even nobody's hits connected. There was no security. I don't know where this McDonald's was at. I don't know where they were at.
SPEAKER_04It was in it was in Cali or something, right? Yeah, it was in LA. Yeah, they was in Cali, boy.
SPEAKER_14So it always confuses me when people, you know, um, you know, people who who are who are established now, they're no longer in the hood, they got money, they're doing well for themselves, that they're still eating McDonald's. Like that blows my mind. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Like nasty as hell.
SPEAKER_14I at some point I start.
SPEAKER_05I look at it part to me is actually sitting in McDonald's, not eating a McDonald's. Like you ice spice.
SPEAKER_14I the eating part is what gets me, but then you sitting down in there like you in a five-star restaurant, and it's like it's McDonald's. Like, I haven't I haven't sat in a McDonald's since I was a kid. Like, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_04She wanted to go in the swings, she wanted to go. Remember the McDonald's used to have them playground joints in there.
SPEAKER_14And where was her security? No, that's why I said there was no security.
SPEAKER_04Nigga, her friend that was with her didn't even help her.
SPEAKER_14No, her friend had no type of of no awareness, anything. Because if a bitch is standing over me because she's hovering over you, I would have had to get up, look over whatever the girl like.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we wouldn't have been eye level or something. Ain't no way you're hovering over me, bitch. Back the fuck up.
SPEAKER_14Nah, we would have jumped her for real.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, she would have got beat the fuck up. That's a fact. That's a fact. She would have got beat a roll.
SPEAKER_14And the girl was like, Where are you? She's like, Where you from? She said I said, Where you from? The girl said, I'm from Chirac. She said, Oh, Chirac.
SPEAKER_11And then she went on there lying about what happened. Somebody would have punched you in your face.
SPEAKER_14No, for real. She said, I'm from McDonald's. No, no, no. I'm from Wendy's. The girl was like, Bitch, I don't fuck you up.
SPEAKER_12She went online, she went online lying about the interaction. They chewed her in the comments. Who? The girl that did that to Icepice. The whole thing was a lot. I'm like, girl, that thing had audio. Like, what the heck? She probably doesn't think it's gonna release the audio on this.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we saw it. They released that shit, they got paid.
SPEAKER_14That audio was so crystal clear, too, for it to be said.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they got paid. That shit was from McDonald's itself. That nigga said, Yeah, I don't care. Fuck it. How much y'all gonna pay me for this?
SPEAKER_14No, if I'm McDonald's, I'll be tight. Because I'm like, bitch, why you say you're from Wendy's and you send in McDonald's? Like, I'm confused.
SPEAKER_04Most disrespectful shit ever.
SPEAKER_14But the audio was so clear. That's why I was like, yo, how it sounded like they had on mics, you know what I'm saying? Like, you could it sounded like real close, you know. I'm saying this is video surveillance, but you can hear clearly what they're saying to each other. That was blowing my mind, too. But I don't know, that was hilarious. Like, what ain't no way in hell I'm sitting in LA without without my bodyguards and security shit. Right now, me as who I am. I'm not sitting in no LA, nothing without people with me. It's no way to hell. Fuck no.
SPEAKER_05And I'm not gonna remain seated when somebody pull up on me talking to me.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, like he's sitting in a vulnerable position. Stand up.
SPEAKER_14Get your ass up. What are you doing? Ice spice, you from the Bronx. You should know way better than that. Like, it's no way.
SPEAKER_05Well, I know her mama is a better. I seen some pictures of her mom. Man, listen. Nice way to segue into that sexy mama, mom, sister, mama, I inspire.
SPEAKER_14Oh, you know what? Also, since we're here, um, I see Megan Estallion is currently um on a on a ramp. What happened? Yeah. Same old same old. It looks like her and um Clay Thompson what's his name?
SPEAKER_03Clay Thompson.
SPEAKER_14Clay Thompson have broken up. Um she said on it's on her Instagram story as we speak. It says, cheating. Have me around your whole family playing house. Got quote unquote cold feet, holding you down through all your horrible mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season. Now you don't know if you can be monogamous, quote unquote.
SPEAKER_12Oh no, my girl, let me call her out.
SPEAKER_14Bro, she switched niggas like she switched wigs. Come on, come on, man. Like she switched drawers. She said, Your your your treatment towards me during your basketball season, they ain't been together but one season. Am I am I bugging? How long have they been together?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't think it was for not that long at all. Not that long at all, boy.
SPEAKER_05Man, please must she must be doing something wrong because all her niggas shoot on her.
SPEAKER_04All that talk in the music gotta be fake, bro. Gotta be fake.
SPEAKER_14You know, they always say the woman lying ass. They always say the woman that talk about it a lot, or um, you know, wet ass pussy, all of that shit like that. Like, that's to be the the ones that really don't have what they be talking about. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Like her shit gotta be trash, but she been looking really good. He also rich as fuck and been doing this for I always look good.
SPEAKER_12I I really love her.
SPEAKER_04He's rich as fuck, he's a basketball player, nigga on the road.
SPEAKER_14And I don't want to do, yeah, no, and I don't want to say that it's trash. I want to I when that's when that's what I was saying. When I'm saying that they talk about it, like that don't mean I'm not saying it's trash, but sometimes people talk more than what they do. You know what I'm saying? Like, you could be talking all this old freaky shit in every single song, but then you're kind of like uh a wet blanket when y'all doing it. That don't mean that your your shit is trash, just you're not as like super porn star the way you talk about it in your song. You know what I'm saying? Like, some people overhype themselves overhype who they are in the bedroom. Not saying that they're their shit is whack, just saying they're not who they are. They don't perform. Yeah, yeah, they over exaggerated for entertainment purposes. Um, I didn't notice she got her own flame and hot Cheetos. Okay she got uh she got Cheetos, flamin' hot dill pickle flavor.
SPEAKER_12Oh, okay. I gotta try those. I love putting my flame hot Cheetos inside my pickles. I stick it inside the pickle and I just bite it. It's so good. Oh, okay. I don't, I don't I gotta try this. I gotta try pickles and freaking flame of hot Cheetos, a great combination. I gotta try these. I did not know that. I don't have pickles like that.
SPEAKER_04Only pickles I fuck with is Tommy pickles, you heard?
SPEAKER_14No, I love pickles.
SPEAKER_04I like pickles too.
SPEAKER_14I can't know I don't eat like the flamin' hot Cheetos, Takis, and all that because all that is red 40. So I don't eat those things. Um, I try to stay away from red 40 as much as possible, which sometimes is inevitable because I've been taking Tums and I had no idea Tums had Tums uses Red 40. Like who would have thought that? That's that's freaking crazy. Like, but um definitely, I definitely anything that has red 40 in it, I do not consume. I can't. Anything spicy like flame of hot Cheetos, Takis, or you know what doesn't have it? Um, hot fries. I love hot fries.
SPEAKER_05I haven't had those in a minute. I used to love hot fries, yeah. Bag of hot fries. Aaliyah loves hot fries.
SPEAKER_14I still eat hot fries, but people the the brand that we grew up with, like eating in high school, um, the Annie Caps brand, the blue bag. The blue bag, yeah, that's the brand that I eat. But a lot of the kids that I see in my channel.
SPEAKER_04The Cheetos one.
SPEAKER_14Yes, they eat the Cheetos one. I'm like, I've never had it.
SPEAKER_04Aaliyah likes the Cheetos one.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, I'm like, nah, that's not the real hot, good hot fries.
SPEAKER_04But I think at least they're not eating Takis no more.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_04They're just terrible.
SPEAKER_14They're not eating Takis no more because now Doritos has like their version of Takis, and that's what them kids be eating. Oh, wow. Yeah, it's like um it's a green bag that they be eating. They eat the green bag of the like the Doritos version of Takis, or they eat the hot fries. Like I said, I tried the Cheetos hot fries from one of the kids at school, it was good, but I don't know if it was red 40.
SPEAKER_04I didn't look at the label, but real quick, real quick, what's your favorite bag of Doritos?
SPEAKER_14The purple ones.
SPEAKER_04Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_12I love a red bag classic. Dragula? Nachos? I like the uh the spicy nachos. Spicy nacho?
SPEAKER_05I like the cool ranch.
SPEAKER_04You like the blue one? Okay. Yeah. Sweet. I can fuck with the cool ranch on certain occasions.
SPEAKER_12I can definitely fuck with cool ranch on certain occasions.
SPEAKER_04That purple one is the best one.
SPEAKER_12That's my least favorite. What? I was not fucking with it when it came out. The sweet shit.
SPEAKER_04That cheeseburger shit is the is the least one. Cheeseburger. They got a cheeseburger one. I didn't know that. They got like a taco, they got a loaded taco one. Uh they got a few different ones.
SPEAKER_12And I love the ones from back in the day with that original, original nacho cheese. That one is good. It's like in a white and orange bag.
SPEAKER_14Oh, yeah, I know what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_03Exactly what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_14They brought it back for a little bit recently. I remember that.
SPEAKER_12Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_14Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_12Damn, I love snacks. Listen, since we're on the snacks, let me say something. Antamins, bring the banana cake back. I don't know what happened. Banana cake? It was banana cake. Like it was it was like banana nut crunch. That's what it was called. Banana nut crunch. And it had um banana icing with like chocolate too. Really? Chocolate lines. Yeah, like draped on there. It was so good, and they discontinued it. I keep asking because it was so moist. Like, dang, I can't get over it. I love a good sweet.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, I know exactly what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, so much.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, it was so good.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, it was so good. I will never forget that. Because Brentwood, like, we used to go to Enterman's tour. All the time, right to the factory. And my uncle would work there, and he always brought them home. And I'm like, what happened to those?
SPEAKER_04Yo, oh my god. My mom used to get that shit all the time. They messed up, man. Damn, that's nostalgic as hell.
SPEAKER_12See, hurt my heart, man. Yo, they need to run it back for real.
SPEAKER_04I just see, I just found the video on how to make it. Homemade version of the Intamin's banana crunch cake. Oh, I'm about to make that. I'm about to have Aaliyah make it. She's really good at stuff like that.
SPEAKER_13I never had that.
SPEAKER_04It is so damn good.
SPEAKER_12You never seen it, Key? Um, no.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna look it up. I'll send it to you right now.
SPEAKER_06Oh man. I never had that.
SPEAKER_12Oh my god. Oh my god, I love it. It was no better cake than that. That was my.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I loved it. It was so damn good.
SPEAKER_12I'm so glad somebody else remembered it.
SPEAKER_04It was so damn good, CC.
SPEAKER_12Me and my family talk about it all the time. They're like, why would they get rid of that? I'm like, I have no idea. Nah, man.
SPEAKER_04I'm trying to think who it was. What friend of mine used to come and have boxes of intimates. I'm like, oh yeah, let me get that. Let me get one of those. Yeah. I used to get the whole box of the chocolate, uh chocolate donut entermins, heat that up, dip it in some milk. Boy, what with this cake? Yeah, nah.
SPEAKER_14I don't really like cakes like that. I only like chocolate. That's it. Chocolate is so good though.
SPEAKER_12I could definitely go for a Matilda piece right now. Bruce, you can do it, Brucey.
SPEAKER_14Y'all, you know, I had a baby bottle pop the other day. Oh my god. Oh wow, that sugar rush must have been crazy. No, it was crazy. I could not believe I had it. Because I'm like, yo, I just wanted it, so I was like craving it. And I'm like, you know what? Let me get it. And honestly, you know, I'm I'm tasting, I'm like, yo, my body, I don't even like, I don't even consume sugar like that naturally. So just my body just felt so different. And then I kind of got like a you know, if you ease if you eat something too hot, you burn your tongue. It's like I had a sour burn from it because it was so sour, the powder was so sour that my tongue was kind of burnt.
SPEAKER_04You could lick it, shake it, and dunk it.
SPEAKER_12Yo, yeah, he said you can lick the pop, dick, dip it, and shake it, like and lick it again. It was freaky as hell of y'all.
SPEAKER_04Lick it again, baby bottle pop, baby bottle pop. Don't funny, y'all freaky.
SPEAKER_14Remember, they had the um they had the the big bottle pop liquid, like instead of the powder with the liquid one, yeah. Squeezy.
SPEAKER_12I wasn't I wasn't messing with that one. Yeah, I had that. I had those. Oh my god. I was more I was more with the powder, baby.
SPEAKER_13So yo, this girl.
SPEAKER_14So Dollar Tree has a lot of the nostalgic candy. I went into Dollar Tree to get cleaning products, and I was I wanted um popcorn. So I went down to snack. I'm like, wait a minute, they got mad nostalgic candies. Like they have bubble jug. Um, they have everybody.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I still love bubble jug.
SPEAKER_14They have the um, see, I don't even like as an adult, I don't even like candy, but uh as a kid, I used to love candy. So it's like a lot of the candies that I liked as a kid, I see, and I'm like, wow.
SPEAKER_04Yo, because our candy was five cents. You know what you could get for the dollar from a store when we was kids? It wasn't even a good thing.
SPEAKER_14As an adult, I don't have a I don't have a sweet tooth anymore. As a kid, I used to love eating candy. As a now, it's an adult, like, ew, I don't want no damn candy. I'll eat chocolate and that's it. Like, I don't like anything that's too if it's too sweet, I cannot do it. Like, I'm just not into it. They got the remember the candy where remember how I just said the um the baby out of pop had a liquid, but it was a candy that came in a like a whole tube of just you just squeezy. They got those at Dollar Tree. Um, they got mad, they got the fun dip, they got mad at the nostalgia candy is at Dollar Tree.
SPEAKER_04Oh, next they got Dunkaroos is up.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, they have Dunkaroos.
SPEAKER_04Yep, yeah, need that.
SPEAKER_14They got Dunkaroos.
SPEAKER_04I never liked I love Dunkaroos.
SPEAKER_14They changed the grain.
SPEAKER_04They changed it, yeah. They changed it a little bit.
SPEAKER_12Like I wouldn't notice.
SPEAKER_04Like, yeah, they thought they thought they were slick. I don't care how long it's been. I knew something was a little different.
SPEAKER_14Um, what else? What else I gotta talk about before we get the hell up out of here? Uh go home when I see you with your friends under my breath.
SPEAKER_12I seen uh the unit, Tony Yeo, and them open up a new strand, and I forgot what what city that is. They opened some um dispensary called the unit in Queens. Oh, yeah, in Queens, right? Right. Uh what? Why do I say I forgot what city? Mark, shut up. I can't wait to hear this again in Queens, bitch. Like, where else?
SPEAKER_14Yo, I said I forgot what city, but it's tweaking. Yo, there's so many smoke shops, dispensaries in Queens. Like, it's like they took down mad stores and put up, like, literally, like, there's a smoke shop or dispensary on every other block in Queens. Listen, everybody get high. No, I'm telling you, it's crazy. Um, I had a chicken noodle soup update. Remember that whole situation between Young B and um 5Gs, yeah. Young B and uh uh shit. What's the girl's name? Bianca, whatever. Um man fucking.
SPEAKER_05You're talking about the song. I'm thinking, oh man, never mind. I thought you actually meant the chicken noodle soup.
SPEAKER_14No, remember it was the issue because the five G's girl was performing the chicken noodle soup song. Yeah, I'm thinking I mean the chicken noodle soup girl was performing the 5Gs, oh please. And and you know, she just remember I said she wasn't saying nothing about it. Well, she did an interview with this podcast addressing it. And ever since then, she's just been popping her shit saying basically, like, yo, like I don't even you know, this you should be she was kind of saying what y'all was saying. Like, I'm giving her like um exposure for the song. Like you don't even have she was like, bitch, you don't even have ownership of the song. Like you don't even have like you can't even you don't even get money off for the song, like you nothing, like nothing matters. So why are you even going that hard? It's never that serious. Like I can keep performing it, like they're playing it, and I'm just you know, I'm dancing to it. Like, I don't give a damn about your song. Like, I had the biggest song anyway. Like, and she was just basically saying that um DJ Web star is just messy with it all, and it was just a whole big thing, but um, you know, that time is past, and you know, we still took it.
SPEAKER_12Like, get in the booth if you wanna talk uh perform.
SPEAKER_14They both are though. They've been going, I've been sending it to the group chat that y'all don't look at. Um, they've been going freestyle for freestyle, they've been dropping songs. It's just not, you know, it ain't doing much, but it's on Instagram, so if you're interested, you can check it out. Young B and um what's the name? Young B and 5Gs, baby.
SPEAKER_12Why is he calling her five G's? That's not her name.
SPEAKER_04Young B and old B. Shit. I don't know.
SPEAKER_12I'm crying. Yo, she keep on this girl five G's Young B and 5Gs is wild. What's in the new chicken wraps? This is crazy. Everybody mad right now, but they shit be a drop.
SPEAKER_14Like, come on, man. Yo, y'all, your CC is bugged out, son. Oh my god, I cannot deal with I can't deal with this girl. Oh Lord have mercy. All right, y'all. I think that's it for today.
SPEAKER_05We pretty much and speaking of group chats, can you? I never ever ever want to be updated on King Harris. Like, stop sending shit about him to the group chat. I don't care about this little nigga.
SPEAKER_14No, why? Because I sent his little brother going to prom. That was so cute. I seen that too. It wasn't about King, it was about the brother. I just thought remember when we was talking about them and y'all was like, Oh, they got a brother that does country music. I could not think about who y'all was talking about. Messiah. Yeah, he's nice. He's nice. When I seen the video, I'm like, oh, Messiah, it's because he's the most quiet one out of all of them. Even in the show, like he was always like just in the background, like quiet as hell. When I seen him, I'm like, oh, okay. But then now the little one, the youngest one, he's going to prom. I'm like, damn, I'm old. Like that little one is going to prom. That's why I sent it. It wasn't about King's crazy ass.
SPEAKER_05I just seen King Harris in the in the his name in the caption. I'm like, I'm not clicking on this shit. Get the fuck out of here.
SPEAKER_14No, it's just that now, um, blue face baby mother, his new baby mother, the one that's pregnant.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that shit was gross, bro. Come on, King.
SPEAKER_02Come on.
SPEAKER_14Every time I see one or the other, I'm like, I can't like. If I see blue face baby mother, I think of king. If I see king, I think of blue face baby mother, because they wouldn't be able to get a big thing.
SPEAKER_08Yo, shut up.
SPEAKER_14She's not gonna be able to do it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, well, his new baby mom is going viral now for wiping his ass.
SPEAKER_14Are you serious?
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_14Oh, I didn't see that.
SPEAKER_04That's why I said, ew, come on, I thought that's what you about to bring up. She going viral for wiping his ass after he shit it.
SPEAKER_14No, I I didn't I didn't see that.
SPEAKER_04Somebody said I could see if my partner was sick, they was like really going through some shit or something, but just to regular do this shit ain't no way in the world.
SPEAKER_13Oh man, hell no. Hell no. Hell no.
SPEAKER_14And you and you and you the baby mama, like you can't even be doing stuff like that. How are you handling grown that's disgusting? She's like six months pregnant. Like, what are we talking about?
SPEAKER_04You wiping ass, grown man ass. Talk about saying you want me to wipe you.
SPEAKER_14Well, I see I seen Christian Rockets get into professional boxing now. She's about to have her first fight, so she needs to.
SPEAKER_04They need to calm down that pit bull.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, shout out to her. I see that she's been doing that, so you know.
SPEAKER_05I like her way more now that she distanced herself from Blueface.
SPEAKER_14Yeah, blue face is the problem. You know, it's crazy because, like I said, I don't really pay attention to him, especially because his mom got me blocked. So I don't see a lot of their content.
SPEAKER_05Wait, what? Why does his mom not be blocked?
SPEAKER_14He's got beef with the family, right?
SPEAKER_12She was beefing with mom for a minute.
SPEAKER_05He is the problem.
SPEAKER_14Yo, I don't know what her issue is with me, son. I don't know. It's like that's what I was trying to say. Like, watching the Michael movie, I had tears in my eyes because I can relate to Michael so much. Like, I get Joe Jackson too. And I know y'all call me Joe Jackson. I get him, but I relate to Michael so much. Like, even with him saying, like, you know, he's just so misunderstood. And um, you know, he doesn't like to do interviews and stuff because he loves being mysterious. Like, he loves being that person. I am that person. I can relate to. I think it's the Virgo thing, honestly. Like, I just I just love it. Clarissa Shield said on a heart interview about Beyonce, like, Beyonce don't even do interviews or anything, she just performed. People still got an issue with her. So that's me. You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm very private.
SPEAKER_05I don't, I don't do that ever again. Oh, don't ever in your fucking life.
SPEAKER_11Segway from Beyonce to you. This nigga said, because me and Michael, I can really relate.
SPEAKER_04I understand Nikki, but not Beyonce. Especially with the interviews.
SPEAKER_14I can't I can't relate to Nikki at all. It's just that we both from Southside of Jamaica Queens, but nigga, and I'm I'm really like a mix of Beyonce and Michael Jackson. Like, for real.
SPEAKER_05Like, oh my god, what is going on here? Cut it the fuck out. Beyonce is done, bro. This shit is done. Gang gang. Do the right thing. Like Spike Lee. What else you do? What the fuck?

SPEAKER_12Play the rest of the shit when you have another round.
SPEAKER_04Don't let them play you because if it's an old school love song, that shit like seven minutes of pop. For real. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_05That's all I got for you.
SPEAKER_0414 minutes ain't too bad. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I didn't want to give you too much.
SPEAKER_12You just gotta make up excuses, you know. I didn't want to give you too much, so that's what I got for now. I'm saving the rest of the money.
