Hello there. Hi, how are you? I'm good. How are you? I'm good. I'm tired. It's been kind of a big weekend. Has it? Yeah, a little bit. Just lots, many things going on. You had a date yesterday. We had a date night, which was so fun. We went out to dinner. Um, we had a birthday party today. We had to divide and conquer for all the kids' stuff. It was a good weekend, but a busy funny. Oh my goodness. Yes. My daughter, my my oldest was in my daughter, Ella. You know her. You've met, I think. Um for the listeners at home. But my oldest child was in Annie Jr. at her school this week. So a large portion of the weekend was dedicated to seeing the show, picking up mom so mom could see the show. And then only John was gonna go to the final show, which was last night, but yeah, our friend Justina had extra tickets, and so she invited Audrey to come with them, but then Glory was upset, so then Glory went too. So I wound up with this sneaky uh night to myself. Oh my goodness. And I actually had concert tickets for last night. We were supposed to see this band called Drain that um we had seen at Metal Fest, and then Ella got in the show, so we were like, Oh, I guess we just lose those tickets, which wasn't the end of the world. They were like$40 tickets, they're not a huge, you know, big like concert. So and it's not that you can't really resell that kind of thing. So um, I still had the tickets. So for like half a second, I was like, Am I going to the palladium by myself right now? Like, am I just gonna go do this? Because I really enjoy them. John's just not that into it. Yes. Um, and I thought about it. I didn't do that. Instead, I sat on my couch and watched he did rivalry for the 700th time. And um, maybe with your phone off. It wasn't up. I was I was going out for my date and I couldn't reach Danielle or mom, which, like, if you know us, we're texting constantly. So that's like weird to not hear from anyone. Um, and I knew mom had gone to the show with her, and I eventually texted Danielle's husband and was like, Hi, do you know where my sister is? Maybe she was thinking about going to Worcester, but she wasn't going to Worcester. But then she finally looked at her phone and let me know that she was alive. In fact, the problem was the charger that's in my car doesn't work very well. So, like, if you drop if it gets jostled at all, it like doesn't charge the phone. So my phone was gonna die. And my kids have stolen all the good chargers, so I could only find a charger where the cord was too short to reach where I was sitting on the couch, so it was like on the floor in my living room, yes, and I didn't you know notice anything about it, and also it goes on do not disturb at nine. Oh, okay. Okay, like it'll accept calls from you, but it doesn't send me dings if you do a text. So I hadn't actually hadn't seen anything until you called. And then I was very worried because why is she calling me? She's supposed to be online. Nine o'clock at night, yeah. At nine o'clock at night. Yes. But nope, I was just on my couch uh having a beer and watching some hockey that doesn't have very much hockey in it. Very nice. Um, I just finished a season of Bridgerton, so maybe I'll finally turn to heated rivalry now. Oh fun. Which season did you watch? The most recent one. Is there a new one? Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah. I haven't seen the the the current one, but that's what I watch when it happened the night pumping. That's what I watch. Oh, okay. I don't actually get a lot of TV time where it's like yeah, you know, easy for me to watch girl shows like oh me either. Me either. Like unless I'm sick or John is traveling. I basically just like don't. So I am behind. The night before last, I was actually excited when my alarm went off at 2 30 to pump because I was like, I have the last episode of Bridgerton, and they have an ice an ice cream sandwich in the freezer that I'm not gonna have to share with anybody. And that's what I did at 2 30 in the morning while I pumped for my baby, and it was glorious. And I repeated ice cream sandwich at 2 30 in the morning. Yes. Oh my god. I love that. I was dreaming about that ice cream sandwich that I would not have anyone be like, Can I have a bite? Can I have one? Oh my god, it's amazing. Yeah. Um, so let's see. Our last episode that we did was about our trip. Um we're changing everything. Everything's changed because they changed the park hours. And yes, he was talking about this lovely leisurely Epcot day. Yes. And I was like, oh, I just so bombed, I don't have the vacation time. There's no way I can I have to work that Friday. And then I went to work the next day and was like, maybe I'll just do the math one more time and make sure. Accidentally hadn't hadn't set me up to accrue a vacation time. So it looked like I was fully in the negative, like for a whole year. I was gonna owe vacation time next year. And instead, I have two extra vacation days and some floating holidays and stuff. Amazing. So I took my day off, and now we're having a whole trip. Uh it's a whole thing, it's a whole thing. I'm so excited. We have like eight beacon barrels at the molecular. So I think today is really good for us for research purposes, today's episode, because um, you know, it might give us some inspiration for how we're gonna spend that that extra day that we have. Yeah, because today well, apparently it's a basketball thing is going on and it's the March Madness. Yes, even though it's the 29th, is it still happening? Does it only happen in March? It's almost April. I don't know. I don't know. It is called March Madness, so but I don't know. One would hope that it takes place in March, but I don't I don't know how the sports do these things. So uh but anyway, in the spirit of that, we thought we would do March Madness, and initially we were gonna do restaurants, but then we decided to do lounges instead. Yes. What was your methodology? Haley made the brackets. Uh number one, you're gonna have to remind me how this game is played, but number two, uh, what was your methodology for choosing lounges? Okay, so um the first thing I did, I just labeled lunges. I want you to know that. So we're just calling lunges for now. My phone keeps autocorrecting lunges, lounges to lunges, and I just decided to leave it that way. Um, so what I did, I went to Disney's website and on the dining page I filtered for bars and lounges, but I did I couldn't include everything. So um what I did, I kind of excluded any place that was not like a standalone establishment. Like, you know, space 220 lounge is kind of just an extension of space 220 and like steakhouse 71, it's just like the bar at that restaurant. So I tried I tried to keep keep it to places that were like a unique standalone establishment. Um and then I had a little bit too many, so I didn't include, I don't think any from the Swan and Dolphin, just because we haven't been to any of those. So it seemed a little silly to include those. But other than that, I pretty much kept, I think, to what Disney has labeled as um a bar or lounge. Okay, cool for the most part. Yeah. And then I just put it into some um bracket maker app that I really hope I remember to cancel the free trial. I won't. We're probably gonna do this again next month because now I'm gonna own the bracket makers. But um, there we are. I just typed all of the names in and then I told it to randomize, and that's what it did. So there's a few buys in the first round because it wasn't quite an even number, but um, things will really heat up when we get to round two, the round of 16, as the sports balls call them. Oh, okay. That's uns. I think I think that's what they call them. So are we ready? Celtics fans here in Boston, big Celtics fans. Um that's a college basketball. It's it's basketball, it's college basketball. You had the right sport wrong cue, right? Okay, right trick right. Right sport wrong cue. Oh my goodness. Um okay, so game one is actually how to buy. So we go we go game by game. Did I send you the thing? Yeah, you did. I just don't understand. Oh, I'm gonna follow along. It's gonna be okay. So you we're gonna go all the way down the first column first. That's the first thing we do. And do I have to we're the first no? I'll I'll do it. It's fine. Okay. Um so the first game is a bye. Want wall. It's abracadabar versus nothing. So abracadabar, you're moving on. Um game two, okay. Martha's Vineyard versus Enchanted Rose. Um, I what is Martha's Vineyard? Uh, it's one of the bars that they got in Beach Club. I mean, I'm going Enchanted Rose every time. Yeah, I really like Enchanted Rose. Um, Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites, and I like that it's like subtle Beauty and the Beast and not like Vineyard Face animation, Beauty and the Beast. It's very fun. And they have a real thing. Yes, yep. Yeah, it's a good cocktail menu. So um, we were there one time and uh the guy next to us sat down and ordered a Bud Light, and I was kind of chuckling, and then it turned out he was from Boston, and we wound up talking to him for like an hour. It was like that track. That's that's a very I feel like that's a very Boston thing for him to have done. Yeah. Like go to this fancy cocktail bar and be like, yeah, I'm just gonna get a bud light. Yep. And he was by himself too. Like he had just come to check it out, which was uh so funny. Like he just wanted to see what it was all about. It was it was cute without actually checking out at all. That's really funny. Okay. Game three, game three. Lakava versus outer rim. Lakava, hands down. Lakava, yeah. Um, one of the only bad cast member interactions I've ever had was actually at Outer Rim. Um not that I I would really count that against it. That guy definitely doesn't work there anymore. It was like a decade ago, but um he was very uh kind of rude to me. Um, and La Cava is, I think, I mean, spoiler alert, it's gonna be one of the very best lounges, I think. So it's pretty, pretty easy, easy pick. We have a suspicion we'll be sending spending a significant amount of time there in a couple of weeks. Just get our table ready now. Um, all right, Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar versus Geyser Point. Geyser Point. Yes, I now have a very special spot in my heart for Geyser Point after our last trip. Yeah, even though we were like so pretty, but yeah, it's so pretty. It's like beautiful to sit outside. And I really love the garage doors and the heating options when they're open, when it's chilly. I like the electrical pageant viewing. They've got some great cocktails there, cocktails there, yes, some good drinks, you know, and it just has a very friendly vibe, you know? Yes, definitely. Okay, um, next up, it's another by So Dahlia Lounge is moving on. Which would be on that way. Oh, game six. I think I know who I'm gonna pick, but this is this is a tough one. Territory Lounge versus Trader Sam's. See, I still haven't been to Trader Sam's. I know, I know. It's so fun though. Yeah, I mean, I love Territory Lounge. We were just there. I don't know. What do you think? Because I don't have a I don't have a Trader Sam's opinion. This is so hard because I love them both, but I'm gonna go with um Trader Sam's just because it's so unique and it has so much entertainment going on beyond just like, oh sorry, the baby's here with me and he's making his opinions known. Um what's your favorite lounge? You've been to a lot of them. Um yeah, it has so much unique stuff going on there, other than just like the food and drink. So I have to give it to your Sam's, although it breaks my heart a little bit to do so. Yeah, no, I'll I'll agree with that, I think. If it's anything approaching beacon barrow level of fun, then yeah, you know how are the drinks though? Are they like really sugary or is it like good tiki drinks? As someone who was an islander, um, I think they're pretty good. Um, there's I think we can get most, if not all, of them at the outdoor like drink spot. Is that called Trader Sam's at the tiki terrace or something like that? There's a ground and a tiki terrace, and I always get confused which one is which. Yeah, we're talking about the the the good one with like all the effects and stuff is ground. Yes, yes. I don't know why it made so many buys when it could have just matched up a lot of these places, so that makes it a little lame at basketball. It's bad at basketball, and now they have my credit card information, and that's a bummer for me. Um game seven is you lose your credit cards like once a week, so that will be out of date very shortly. I literally do. I literally do. I have and it's so funny because it's both people I'm related to. My sister, and then my sister-in-law. My sister-in-law does like credit card hacking, like they're very good at points and stuff like that. It's like a game to them. So they have like 17 cards in my system, and then you and Nick just lose your cards constantly. So you have like 17 cards in my system. It's very, very funny. Yep. Um, okay, so game seven is a buy, and that's Nomad Lounge. Moving on. Um, game eight is bar Riva versus the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. I know what I'm gonna say, but I don't know if you will say the same thing. I cannot remember. I don't have, I think I've only gotten a drink to go at Bar Riva. Is that accurate? You did only get a drink to go at Bar Riva, but I was gonna pick that anyway. You're gonna pick that anyway. Um, I do remember they were so nice when we hobbled up to them, like broken people who had walked 30,000 steps that day. That is like the 1001 in a day in a park day. It was like 32,000 steps or something like that. It was my feet were bleeding, literally. Yes, bleeding, yes. We rolled up at 1001 and they had closed at 10, and they were like, We can just give you guys some wine if you want that. And we were like, Yes, please. We looked like we had been through the wars, we looked multiple, all of the wars we had been through them. And then we went back to the room and I fell asleep with a chicken tender in my hand. Haley, that was the second time you did that on that trip, by the way. That was your second sleeping tender. It's not great. That's not great. It was very funny. Um my gosh. Okay, so I so I appreciate Bar Riva for that. Um, so we can go with that. Hollywood brown derby. I like their um, was it a martini flight or a margarita flight or both? I liked that. That was the martini one. I got the margarita one, and I don't think either of us ate for research. For research, you guys. We do love a good flight. I know, you know what it is? I don't love the um, I don't love, is there indoor lounge seating too, or is it all outside? I think it's all outside, but don't quote me on that. It just feels very on the sidewalk, like in a way I don't love. And I think Baruch is so pretty. It's like the fanciest pool bar I've ever seen. Yeah. Um, okay, they have much very elevated pool food. Yes, very well, yeah. Game nine is another buy, weirdly, which is the perch at the Grand Floridian. Very much hoping to try this. Um on our trip. Yes. Oh, Danielle, this one is gonna break your heart. Game 10. Ogus Cantina versus Jock Lindsay's. This is called Danielle. But Danielle loves these places. Are you gonna go with Jock Lindsay's? I'm going with Jock Lindsay's. Oh my goodness. Tell me why it is blown because I have been not super psyched about any drink on the menu at Ogas except for the jet juice. And I really only like that because it really tastes like booze. Like it's just and and when we went in, when it's when it's rowdy in there, you got stormtroopers coming in, like that's fun. Yes. But when we went this past time, it was dead in there, and just like kind of nothing really happened, you know what I mean? Like it was kind of quiet, the bartenders didn't do the song thing, like, and it was just like a very pricey, sugary bar area. Yeah, so I was I still it it is still my home away from home, but um it's there's variables there. Whereas I feel like Jock Lindsay's, you get a better cocktail, it's not like a themed, it's it's not like you know, like a I'm I'm not sure what the word it's not like um cheesy, you know what I mean? It's like very good. And then the I love the Indian Jones stuff, and I love that you can sit on the water. Yes. So I think just for like general all the time lounge, I'm going Jacqueline's Jacqueline's. This next one is extremely tough for me. Um, game 11 is beacon barrel versus geo82. Oh my goodness. These were so such standouts of our last trip. And they were both so good. I feel like these it's not good to have a red device necessarily because they they both deserve to move on, but that's all right. Can there be a no? We probably can't do a tie, huh? That's probably not how it works. No, I don't think it lets you do that. Okay. I'm gonna go with, even though I loved Geo82 and the cocktails were amazing, I'm gonna go with Beacon Barrel just because it's so unique. Um, the drinks were actually really solid. They they weren't like just the sugar water you sometimes get at you know theme park bars. Um, they were pretty good. And just for the whole atmosphere, I have to give it to Beacon Barrel. I agree. And also they have um more food options than they have at GO82, and they were really good. Yeah. I wasn't I wasn't expecting to enjoy that corn cake as much as I did. Yeah, you know, yeah, no, I I really, really loved it. Yeah, I mean five reservations for it in three weeks. Um, we have more than five, my friend. You had five last week. I have a problem. You've made like three more since then. And here's what she does: she texts me and she says, oops, just made another beacon bearer reservation, and then I send her, what's the matter?

What serum was it? That we might have just passed like 150 bucks on serum down the train. You know what my thing is like. Oh no. Oh, that one's a cheap one. That's okay. Don't worry about it, buddy. So I'm probably I might just keep this in just so people know what my I wish you could see my face while this is going on. My daughter's sitting in the shower and she knocked. Yeah, no, don't carry glass though, honey. That's not safe. You can just it is it's glass, that's why it broke. Can you put it down, please? That's a that's a parent job, but I appreciate the effort. The effort. Oh my gosh. Okay. Um she knocked over a bottle and it broke in my finger, and it's not a big deal. It was empty. Um has been using it as an eyedropper for some reason, but it's fine. Okay. Um, what happens is Haley texted me and she says, oops, just got another beacon barrel, and then I sent her a pirate gift, and that's just what happens every time. So this has happened like eight times now. I have a lot of good pirate gifts in my in my inbox right now. I've gotten very creative. All right, game 12, Ale and Compass versus Bellevue Lounge. I'm going Bellevue. What about you? Yeah, I am too. Although Ale and Compass was fun and cozy, I don't like that the part of it that's like there's sort of an none of it is outdoor. Or as in like in nature, but there's a part that's like closed off and a part that's not closed off. And I don't love the not closed off. You feel like you're sort of drinking in a lobby, which is not my favorite. Yeah. Um snacks we had were great. The drinks were great, too great, potentially. Um and it is cozy, but it that like I don't know, like dark, cozy feel is not what I'm looking for in Florida most of the time. Trail, trail, you know what I mean. Um, but I also just I love um for whatever reason, it seems like folks get up to shenanigans in Bellevue Lounge. I don't know what it is about the boardwalk crowd, but like we saw some drama. There was stuff going on, and we also met in Imagineer there, and I do like the outdoor seating. I didn't get, I mean, I was just getting like gin and seltzer. I wasn't getting like a fancy cocktail or anything, but yeah, um, you know, the drinks were always a solid pour. I'm thinking Belleville. I agree. Game 13 is for some reason another buy. So the Scat Cats Club at Port Orleans is moving on. Okay. Um, okay, ooh, game 14. This is tough for me. Another one. Victoria Falls versus Tamboo Lounge. Yeah, that's a tough one. Tamboo has more personality. Yeah, I agree with that. But Victoria Falls is also a favorite of ours, and they have your favorite wine. They sure do. Spice fruit chocolate. I I will not fight you on either one of these. I know. I would I would give this one a tie, honestly, if I were able to, and I think I'm gonna give it to Victoria Falls personally. Okay, I think that's fine. Okay, I think that's fine. And also we kind of over-tambooed. We did because we stayed at the Polynesian during the hurricane and spent a lot of time at Tamboo Lounge. A lot of time and money at Tamboo Lounge. Yeah, I do like, and I will say, I do like the food there very much. Yes. I never need to have a peanut noodle ever again. Um all right, game 15. Gurgling suitcase versus cruise cup. This is easy for me. How about say gurgling suitcase? Big time. I love gurgling suitcase. I wish it were a little bit bigger because it really is like egregiously small. I think there's there's definitely like less than 10 seats, probably. Um, but you can get the drinks to to drink outside. And um, yeah, it's right on the walkway there. This is an old QS. That's kind of the same, same idea as Alien Compass, just like a little on the dark, dark side, you know, not what you always want. I know. We just don't love that teaming, which is funny being from here. But the um I know Gurgling suitcase also reminds me very much of an expat bar that I hung out at in when I lived in China. Um fun. And so I just I don't have very many China memories, to be totally honest. But um, yeah, I did like that place, and I like Gurgling suitcase as well. All right, final game of round one is baseline versus Barcelona Lounge. Ooh, Barcelona Lounge is what? Is that the one down? No, that's Dahlia Lounge. Barcelona Lounge is the one um we went to with some of your travel agent friends on the first floor. Um against many other lounges, I think Barcelona would have come up on top because I think it's very pretty and I've had a couple really good cocktails there. Really, but I just love I love baseline so much. Um, I would personally give it to baseline, but I won't fight you if you want to rule otherwise. Yeah. I'm a brewery gal, you know? Yeah. All right, here we go, round two. Now it's gonna get good because we are done with all of the buys. So abricadabar versus enchanted rose. I mean enchanted rose. Didn't you not like abracadabar? I love the idea of abracadabra, and I like the vibe and the atmosphere. I there isn't hardly any drinks. There are hardly any drinks on that menu that I like. Um, I think I got the she sell seashells, and it was like a uh cup of sugar. It was not not very good. They do have they do have they did have some heftier drinks, maybe like whiskey, but when I went there, I had already had like a few glasses of wine, and I was like, whiskey is the wrong right turn to make right now. So yeah. Um I forget if they were whiskey. It was something hefty that that I was like, that's not that's not my journey tonight. Um, but yeah, so there's no drinks I love, but Enchanted Rose, I I think is an easy win here. Yeah, ooh, this is a tough game, too. La Cava versus Geyser Point. Oh man, yeah, heartbreaker, heartbreaker. What are you gonna go with? I think I would probably lean in on La Cava. Yeah, I agree. Sorry, Geyser. It's such a cozy little like Heidi hole. I don't know. I love it so much. Well, and like if we're really like Geyser Point is also like a restaurant, you know what I mean? That's a table service. So like we used it as a bar, but it does it isn't necessarily just bars. So I guess just for the technicality, we're going with Lakala. All right, game three is Dahlia Lounge versus Trader Sam's. Oof. I mean Dahlia, I think. I'm gonna go with Dahlia too. I think you could make an argument either way, but personally, Trader Sam's is more like I like I love it, but it's like it's a little gimmicky. You know, you're not there for like a real a really good cocktail, and Dahlia Lounge has some really good cocktails, and I love the outdoors seating area, yeah. It wins for the view and it wins for the Oaxacan old-fashioned, which I know like this, so that's not for you, but right, uh that is like really top tier. Yeah. All right, game four, nomad versus bar Riva. It's gonna be nomad every time. It's gotta be gotta be nomad. Of course it's trying to do it. Did you try to do an NSync? No, I thought you were trying to sing it's gonna be Nomad, like Justin Timberlake. Your phone did a weird thing, and I thought you were singing that. I'm sorry. No, probably not. That said, I do love nomad lounge. Not enough to sing a song about it, but I do enjoy it. Okay. Um game five, the perch versus Jock Lindsay's. Jock Lindsay's, right? I agree. We haven't been to the perch yet, but I've heard I've heard it's like, you know, it's in the it's right in the lobby. They have a very limited menu. Um, I'm hoping to try it, but I'm not like dying to try it personally. Yeah, like I would maybe get a drink there on my way to spend more time at Enchanted Rose. You know what I mean? Yes, definitely. Yeah, exactly. Okay, beacon barrel versus Bellevue Lounge. Beacon barrel. It's gotta be beacon barrel, of course. We didn't make plans to go to Bellevue eight times. We did for Beacon Barrel. So I think that's just the proof is right there. All right, game seven: Scat Cats Club versus Victoria Falls. This is hard because I have not gone to Scat Cats Club, but I've always wanted to and I've heard really good things. I have really good things. I think probably other people would choose. Is that the one with a piano man? I think so, yeah. Or is it at the river roots? Oh, uh, oh shoot, we are bad podcasters. Let me look that up. Because if it's the guy, I have been to the the piano man moment and it was raucous. It was rowdy. Oh, okay. I actually don't love that myself for it's a jazz, it's a jazz bar. Yeah, jazz. I hate jazz, goodbye jazz. Yeah, so I'm gonna I would definitely go with um Victoria Falls personally, just for my personal college and took music theory with too many jazz majors, and I just cannot. Um yeah, no, Victoria Falls for sure. We love it there. Okay. Ooh, tough one here, Haley. Okay, this is gurgling suitcase versus baseline. Tough, tough. What are you gonna go with? I think I think I'm gonna go with baseline. What do you think? Um uh I could go either way. I could go either way as well. I hmm, I'm gonna go with baseline too. I like all the snacky items at baseline, and um, I like that it's a little break from the theme park. And uh I like it's such a good location, yeah. Yep. And I also like it's like the only place on property I can get an IPA that isn't high-live. Yes, like a good I like a good New England IPA, yeah, right. Um so yes. All right, we keep highlight. It's fine. What? It said nothing against High Lai, just you know, right, just not your bag. Oh, wait, we didn't choose. I think you gotta do the oh I didn't do the top one. Sorry. Here we go, here we go. All right, we are into the we're into the quarter finals, and we've got game one, Enchanted Rose versus La Cava. Oh, did you hear the baby? What did he say? He has an opinion on that. What does he think? He's squawking. And then he says, it's La Cava. It's La Cava. He's correct. It's like very smart baby. Loves his knows his drinking establishments. Yes, he does. He's very smart. Okay, game two is Daya Lounge versus Nomad Lounge. Oh, I need to think about this one. Great drinks at both of them, great atmosphere at both of them, both indoor and outdoor seating at both of them. This is a this is tricky. What are your what's your gut instinct? My gut instinct is Dahlia, but that's partly because I have still only been to Nomad one time. What I know, and that was with you. So it wasn't like I think a lot of parents really like it as like a why is Animal Kingdom 10 degrees hotter than the rest of Central Florida? Like, we need a break. And that's a very good place to do it. Um, yes, yes. So I haven't, but I haven't had that experience because I have only been there with you as an adult, and we stopped there on purpose. Right. Um, so I think Dahlia, for me, again, that old-fashioned is just like crazy. And I just love that night. We hung out with Nicole, which is like such a nice fun time, fun time until we got lost on the conference center grounds trying to get back to our room. So I think I would end up probably going with Nomad personally, but we have we have to choose the same thing, and it's a very close call, so I'm gonna say Dala.

Um, next up, oh, Jock Lindsay's versus Beacon Barrel. Beacon Barrel. Barrel. Beacon Barrel. Are we giving away the ending here? No, because like if we I don't know if we get to like Vacava versus Beacon Barrel, like you know, there's things here that okay, okay. We're not sure. We're not sure. The future is unwritten. Okay. Um, next up we have Victoria Falls versus Baseline. I'm gonna go with baseline. I like Victoria Falls, but yeah, baseline for sure. There's sometimes I feel too much noise from Boma at Victoria Falls. That's true. That's true, and I like that you can be outside at baseline, or you kind of have to be um right. That's true. Okay, here's the semifinal. Ready? Lakava versus Dahlia. Oh boy. I mean Lakava. Yeah, yeah, I think so, don't you? I'm not you do not. Oh I'm torn. I'm torn. Yeah, I think Lacava. Give me your pros and cons. Um, I like that Dahlia has indoor and outdoor space. I really like that, and I love the view, but I love the vibe at La Cava. You kind of feel like you're in like a secret club almost, and like everybody's very excited, and their tequila tasting's happening, and um, the drinks are fantastic. So yeah, let's go with La Cava. I also my thing on this is location because yeah, that's true. Unless you're staying there, um, yeah, it's not you're not gonna bump into Delhi Lounge by accident. You know what I mean? Like you have to make plan to get over there, make plan to get back to wherever you're staying. Whereas La Cava, it's like if you're out in the parks, you're hot, you're sweaty, you want to grab some AC, it's right there, you know? Okay, the other semifinal is beacon barrel versus baseline. These are hard choices we're making here, Healy. These are hard choices. I also find it really interesting that three of our final four are all in park lounges. I don't know that I would have predicted that, but I think it makes sense because I really like to hop into a lounge, you know, midday for a little midday break. And because we never go back to the hotel. Yeah. Like it's hard to do a lounge with your entire family, especially if you have a family as large as ours. Um at 10, like when we're thinking lounges, we're thinking either grown-ups night out, some kind of cute cross without the kids, or we're thinking like sisters trip. And we when we do a sister's trip, we don't stop. We're not we don't, we don't basically chilling out at the hotel. So no, I think in park makes sense because that's where we spend more time. Yeah. That said, I'm going with beacon barrel over base sign personally. Beacon barrel is so good. Well, now, spoiler alert, you said what would happen if beacon barrel wound up against La Cava, and that is exactly the final matchup that we have here, Danielle. And this is tough because though we are obsessed with it, we have only had one opportunity to be at Beacon Barrel so far. We are about to have eight more, I think. So um, and I've only been limited, but what if you come back in 15 for your next reservation? I've only been to La Cava once, either, actually. Oh, really? Yeah. With you, that one tag I've sat in Lacava probably three or four times. Oh wow, okay. Um but no, is that true? Because when would I have done that if I wasn't with you? We went with your agents. That's true. So maybe it's only been like a couple times. I also tended previously, instead of sitting in there, I would go in and get their tequila flight and then take it out into the plaza, like the pavilion. Yes. Um, and just watch people watch from up top there. Um, so I've been in La Cava a bunch. I've just only sat in there a couple times. Okay. Um, Haley, this is hard. It is hard, but for me, it's beacon barrel. I think it's I'm a little bit torn. Like, I'm not sure I'm the most unbiased judge here because I'm also not a huge tequila and margarita person. So beacon barrel's drinks appeal to me a lot more. Lacava's, I feel like might technically be better drinks, but they're just not my style quite as much. Um I'm on a real beacon barrel kick right now. I really, really liked it. Yeah, it it I mean, it lived up to all the hype and then some. I felt. I mean, I guess I'll be interested to see like how it matures. You know what I mean? Like it's it's brand new, it's like a hot ticket, you know what I mean? Items get and that means it's always full and lively, and there's stuff going on constantly. Like, I kind of wonder if like four years from now, kind of like open is if you go in and it's half full because no one's that worried about the rest of your life. Yeah, is it not as interactive and exciting? So I'll be interested to see how that changes like later. But that being said, it is the only lounge in Magic Kingdom. That's that's so maybe it will maintain its star status for long. You know what I mean? That's well. Now I'm excited to see how many of these we can pack in to our trip in three weeks, Danielle. How many we have Park Hopper passes the world is our oyster, no children. More time than we thought. Because HR that seems to always happen with us, also. We're like, oh, a quick two-night trip, and then you know, five nights later. I know. I know there's something our dad was over the other night, and Haley was not here, just Dan was here, and you know, uh, he enjoyed being with the family on this trip. Was it his favorite experience? I don't think so. And he was so ready to get out of Disney by the time he left. Um, he was dizzied out. Disney out. Because we still had another trip left. And in that same vacation, we had a whole nother trip. And uh he was over the other night and talking, he's been doing a lot of travel to Florida for work, so other plate Fort Lauderdale, um, which I can't say correctly without a Boston accent, I cannot say Fort Lauderdale. Um, and uh Miami, and so he's been back and forth to Florida, but because he discovered he likes it in the cold weather, so then he signed up for all these conferences. So, anyway, he was telling me about his last trip, which was Miami, and then his next trip. And I was like, Oh, we're you know what, we're headed back too. And he's like, What? And I was like, Yeah, me and Haley, we're gonna actually like three three weeks from tonight. We're headed back. Yeah, and he was like, To Disney World? And I was like, Yeah, that's kind of what we do, Dan. He just looks at me like dead serious. He's like shaking his head with a grave disappointment.

He was so upset about it. Oh my gosh, that's funny. Oh boy, yeah. Are we sick or are we just better at everything than everybody else? I don't know. And we are full of joy. We are full of the magic. Full of joy, full of joy. I'm gonna be full of joy at this race for sure. Yeah, you sent me like pacing groups, you guys. I did, I did. What's that even? Does that just mean I have to run when they run? Is it like a tramp stampede situation? You have to keep I think we just want to keep an eye on them to stay ahead of the balloon ladies. Who are the who are these balloon ladies? This is like an it. This is the creepy clown with a balloon. What balloon? No, the balloon ladies are the people at the very back of the race, and if they pass you, you have to drop out. Why is it all ladies? What's going on? I've I've always heard them referred to as balloon ladies, but maybe they're balloon men and I just haven't heard about them. I don't know. That would be unusual. Usually, if there's men doing anything, you hear about them first. Um that's true. Um, one thing that my husband said this morning, uh we were laying in bed. We had a we had a really busy weekend last weekend. It was a busy day yesterday. So today we were like committed to doing nothing and to being in bed as long as possible. So I didn't get out of bed until like 11:30, but we were awake earlier. I was awake at like nine. And we were just like laying in bed, like making our grocery lists and stuff, and figuring out every week. And um I was like, oh shoot, and like we also have to think ahead like next weekend. He usually does the grocery shopping since I'm out of the house constantly. Um I was like, shoot, we have to think ahead about that because Easter is Sunday, and I committed to make all this stuff, and so I needed to shop on Saturday next week instead. And I was like listing off all these things, and he was like, Oh, he was like, Man, I just I have not thought about Easter at all. And I was like, That's awesome, that's awesome for you. That's so great. I'm gonna come back as a dude next time. He took trade off that, but oh my god, just not on this radar, you know? No, we're gonna have to do a Run Disney episode, but I feel like we can't do that until we've done a race. Like, I feel like we just don't know enough yet. I know you don't know anything, you don't know anything. Because I'm incomplete. I still think I'm in the phase where Haley's trying to talk me into doing it. Like I have paid for it. And this week I need to order running shoes because I lift in my converse. And I need to order a real sports bra because I don't do anything high impact. Pardio, yeah.
