Speaker 1:

And I cook all day long. I never got sick of it. Hey, willy, good to meet you. Willy, yeah, nice to meet you. Tell me a little bit about Wandering Asian. Yeah, so Wandering Asian started. You know, I worked up in Bellingham at the pharmacy. I stayed there for five days and then come back here for two days, decided to open this because family didn't like me being away. So we talked about things that I can do on an island and they said why don't you cook food? When I moved to Oak Harbor, because I was waiting for my license to be issued and I cooked all day long. I never got sick of it. So then I enjoyed cooking and they were like, why don't you open a restaurant? I was like I don't think I'm ready to open a restaurant. And then there's a how, about some trap? I was like that one I can do as a family club with the name, and then we do kind of the cooking and everything. What is like easier for me to do and also it is for people on the island to uh experience.

Speaker 1:

But like I travel a lot in Asia, so my pork is a Korean based, korean Gochujang pepper marinated. The chicken and the shrimp they're the same. They're soy based, so with different type of herbs like lemon grass, garlic, ginger, so kind of sweet and savory. People love spicy, so I always have like jalapenos and more sriracha for them if they would love spice. I like some spice. Yeah, I posted it on Wikipedia, on the community, previously to see what the island wants. They all mentioned Musubi. Okay, so that's why I had the Musubi.

Speaker 1:

So what hours are you? First of all, I guess you're here every day. We're at the old Whippy Island Bank building on North East 7th, yes, by 10. And what's your hours here? So usually Tuesday to Friday, 11.30 to 5, unless I sell out early. But I tend to sell out probably about like 4, 4.30. The reason I sell out a few minutes early, like half an hour, because I cannot cook any more rice. When I'm out of rice then I need. It takes like 40 minutes to cook rice. That's why when I'm sell out, I can offer fries, hot stickers, you know, but most of the time the wrap is gonna be out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but we take call-ins, which a lot of people are pretty good at nowadays. They call in, they give me time, you know, to cook more if I need more, okay, good, do you have an app for this ordering or online ordering? No, just phone calls. Yeah, and I have Facebook page. People can message you on Facebook as well. I manage the Facebook myself. What's the phone number that people would call? So 360-969-5211. All right, well, this is pretty fantastic. I've been trying some and all right, well, thank you very much. Thank you, yeah, much success to you. Thank you, I appreciate that.
