Love & Light - Keep Hope Alive
Hello and welcome to Keep Up Alive podcast. Today I have Gina Anayana I love saying your name, Anayana with us. She is a healer and spiritual teacher and she does a lot of other things and we're going to dive into all those things today on today's episode. So welcome, Gina, I'm so happy to have you on here. So you're welcome and I love the background. I'm going to ask about that later.
Speaker 1:I was like I'm drawn to the little polar bear thing on the side of you and I think it's because the lighting kept shining on it and I was like it's pretty. But before we get started I have a question. It's kind of off topic but it's going to be a fun question. Out of the past five years, how many weddings have you been to?
Speaker 2:Probably just one.
Speaker 1:Okay, Now, when you were there, if you were going into the ceremony sometimes there's something for you to sign to let the couple know you were attending that event what would you be signing?
Speaker 2:I actually I remember the wedding I went, I think it's two years ago and uh, I think I signed as something like you know, knowing like a life is a journey that you know, wish them on this journey kind of respect each other, you know, grow with each other and create something just memorable for them and for them to share with their children. You know, just something like this that is so cool.
Speaker 1:That is so cool. Well, one of our biggest sponsors. Their name is Life on Record. Their name is Life on Record and what they do is, instead of having a guest book, usually what people are signing in, they put a vintage rotary phone in its place and usually people will have it all dolled up like on a wooden desk with greenery and it is the coolest looking phone. I wish I had it with me right now to show you guys.
Speaker 1:But you pick it up, you leave a message Congratulations on your big day, we're so happy for you. Or maybe it's a groomsman saying it's about time you put a ring on her finger. So all these messages. And right next to it, really fast, there is a QR code your guests can sign to. If they didn't want to use the phone and just use their mobile device, they could leave a message before or after the event was over. But they collect all these voice messages and either burn it on a 10-inch vinyl record or they put it on a keepsake speaker and I call it the little boom box. So it's like having the gift of voice to hear everybody congratulating you. Now I know I always use this for weddings, but corporate events, family reunions, graduations, big birthday parties, whatever the occasion, it is a good thing to have. So you get to keep the phone number, you got to return the phone and plans start at $99. So why don't you start with your next event, choosing Life on Record? Visit them at wwwlifeonrecordcom. All right, so, gina?
Speaker 2:I love that. I love that I might sign up there, because we do a lot of events with our you know nonprofit and I think it's such a creative idea to literally like it's fine, it's fine. So thanks for that.
Speaker 1:actually, I didn't know you would talk about that, so it's great well, I love my sponsors I I have a lot of great ones and I love talking about what they do and everything. So definitely, and I'll have one midway too, so so the biggest question is what's in your coffee cup? I'm kidding.
Speaker 2:Tea, tea. I cannot drink coffee. It's too much for coffee. Right now it's like late for me.
Speaker 1:I was like I never went off cue there on that. I was like you know what are, what is?
Speaker 2:she drinking all right.
Speaker 1:So no, who is gina anayana I?
Speaker 2:want to know. Yeah, tell me about yourself, gina anayana. Gina anayana is a, this little girl inside of her that want to bring people together in the world. I'm doing what she always wanted, you know, even though we are an adult. But I do feel like we are, doesn't matter how old you are. Okay, I feel like when you back to hey, what's your soul mission, what you really do, I always can feel like connect with people when they were like five, six years old. It's so innocent, so pure, have a beautiful heart and I that. That was. That is what little Gina wanted. It's like she want the, you know, the, the community or the village at that time, like the, the feeling of everybody helping each other, everybody supporting each other, doesn't matter literally you are rich or poor seriously, and that we are here to support each other.
Speaker 2:And I, when you grow, you know obviously I'm not going to share with you how old am I, but in the last couple decades you realize you know obviously I'm not going to share with you how old am I, but in the last couple of decades you realize that you know you travel so many places. I travel to different countries. Right, I live in so many different cities, went through so many different. You know jobs. Just, you realize that this world is not that little Gina vision, you know. So when you're back to ask yourself what I'm really here to do, I have two kids. Okay, I have two little girls, so you're watching them grow, you, you kind of reconnect with the younger version of you is like what the I'm doing here? What I'm really doing here? Am I wasting my precious time? And if I only have this amount of time left, what kind of legacy I want to leave to my children so they can you?
Speaker 2:know, either pick up or just proud of their mom. Yes, you know so that's probably the version of me. So I dab into different things for sure, but that's kind of like I feel like in a honor my own inner child away to talk about what I'm doing right now.
Speaker 1:That's beautiful and well said. So. But, yeah, two girls and it's great having kids and watching them grow up and seeing the mini version of yourself. So, yeah, I love that I have a girl and I have a boy and they're 10 years apart. No, I did not plan it that way, but it's interesting because my daughter is at this level and she made me a grandma this year, so I'm watching her raise her daughter. And then I have my son, who's 12, who is just a mastermind at school and everything he does and football, so I'm following his journey as well. So, but when you start to see those little mini visions of us growing into the person and I bet you know sometimes just watching them and the things they say and the new words that are coming out in the media, it's like you said what? What does that mean?
Speaker 2:yes, yes, they are our teacher. They teach us, they get us to be updated in the world that you know we might. We might need a little bit of time to understand, you know, just like they try to understand our world and just like we try to understand our parents or our parents try to understand us. Right, right yeah.
Speaker 1:Oh, yes, definitely, and I still think my parents are trying to understand who I am as a person. So you know, times change and we grow up and get older. And you know I was just watching my dad. He was singing doo-wop and I was like doo-wop. You know, that makes me feel like I didn't know what that was all popular back then, but just it was enlightening. I loved hearing him sing because that's something I like to do is karaoke. But so I wanted to talk about the spiritual end of all your teaching. Talk about the spiritual end of all your teaching. Can you tell us a little bit more?
Speaker 2:about what you cover and how you help people. Yeah, so for the spiritual part, I think it's also very easy to. We already talk about in the child, right, and as a reason I always talk about in the child is actually a lot of my work is to help you to reconnect with that version of you, because that version of you is the, that version. When you come to this world, she's already perfect. He's already perfect. He, he or she knows what exactly she's here or he's here to do. But after all the experience of after you're taking on the belief from your parents, your teachers, your spouse or whoever, when they are at 30, 40, 50, almost like they lost who they are, they forgot who they are. So my healing practice is called Innocent Healing. So when I designed that logo, when I really want to make a name you know Also, by the way, all my business name is channeled. Like I will go to meditation, ask you know you were, you know earlier we were talking about. Like you know, ask questions of how you get, how you start those things where those how I get my message is like I literally just go in. You know, I know what I try to convey, but I don't know the name. So I I saw this. You know people meditate and it's a heart. Because I want to help people to connect with their heart center, because your heart is a bridge of all the things you receive and all the you know your desire and also you have fears. So your heart, if you cannot feel things, you cannot transmute things. If your heart is not, how can you grow and how can you allow you to you know, body, to experience certain things? So in a sensory healing is help people to connect with their heart so they can really activate their heart center to reconnect that younger version of you, four or five years old you, which is so, you know, just this ball of energy. You know, have bigger vision, bigger hope for the world. Say I want to do this. I know that you're never asking about how would I do that. You never would think about right, it's always have no, I won't be this, I won't do that. It's like, wow, it's so bold. Right now, when you're a little bit older, you're almost like, well, what if I do this, people gonna think about that? I'm like there's so many this layers, layer of this limiting belief there. So, uh, in this practice I use, you know, breath work, shamanic breath work. I use sound healing, um, I use akashika, records reading. I use data healing so many different healing modality to help people to get information, understand their life, so they can unpack and reintegrate what's their life.
Speaker 2:But the goal is to to have their feel like. You know, we're talking about whether you get hurt or not. It's not about people heal you, it's whether you heal yourself, whether you receive, accept, respect, love yourself. So turning their power within. When you're within, feel like I am strong, I'm powerful, I'm heard, I'm respected, and then you will universe will manifest, universe will reflect things, things in the external world, to show you that what you believe inside. So the whole practice thing is bring people within, the journey within. But journey within is not actually easy journey because sometimes we have certain things that we don't want to go to. Something you also you don't even remember you had that memory is because we, we, we will store them. We call it the basement, right. You have a treasure box. You put all those those things that you either feel ashamed, guilt, hurt, bad, or however you judge it. You all put it together and then you don't touch that part, you know, and then your life goes away.
Speaker 2:So it takes people a lot of courage to do those kind of work, I would have to say, but the reward is great because you really don't can feel live your life like lighter and free and you feel like your life is also helping you. Verse like oh my goodness, there's a life is weighing me down. Being a victim versus being a creator, right, so we want, everybody want towards the creator, but honors of victimhood, because that's the part that we got hurt and we want to bring that part of us back. Yeah, so this is the healing practice part.
Speaker 1:See, yeah, and being able to let go of some of that hurt, too, will open a new door inside our soul is what I learned. It's like my dad even preached this so many times to me. He's like try to forgive that person so you can move on in life and put it, you know, away. It may be hurtful, but forgive them. You know, and I took my dad's advice for many years and I've done that. Um, has there been a time I didn't take his advice on one person? Yeah, but it's going to take me a little bit more time to forget that one person because I was on TV for it. Somebody else wanted the case. That's all I'm going to say right there. But it was very hurtful what happened. But you know how you were saying. Things come to you just like spiritual to you.
Speaker 1:I found that when I was a photographer, the name came to me. A lot of photographers will just use the first and last name photography, but no, I wanted something different. And I remember when I decided to name my company Beyond Our Sight Photography, because there was just so much more detail in sight and we're focusing on the things that matter in life, and I tried to show that with all my photography work also. So with the podcast, keeping Hope Alive is the same concept. And I sit here at this time and I go. Would I still do a photo shoot and do the podcast and do everything that I'm doing? The answer is yes, but it's just. It's so funny because it's all time management.
Speaker 1:But when you learn your purpose in life, you go after it. You know why you're here in life. You go after it. You know why you're here. So it's just taking those steps. You know what we manifest, like you talked, what we see, we envision. I did one month. I accomplished two. My book is done, that I wrote and I've been holding on to it. I was like I don't want to write it, I want someone else to write it. There is no way I would write a book. But I said, nope, we're going to do this. And the other one was I wanted to move to Oklahoma. I just didn't know when it was going to happen, but the way things aligned I was like, oh well, here's the opening, let's go find a job in Oklahoma so I can be closer to my dad and here I am in Oklahoma.
Speaker 2:Wow, you are the master of manifestation. You should share with people with how to manifest the things, the fast you know the line or line. You talk about alignment.
Speaker 1:That's beautiful, yes yeah, it's all through prayer, but you have to. You know, there's another person that I did interview, Aline Hurd, and she was just a. She's done that too. So but, like with your business and everything that you do, I can never say it the A. There's a reading, a shock, I can't even say it. You do those readings that are more in depth, right.
Speaker 2:Yeah, the Akashic Record reading is very different. Yeah, because it's a thought, was A you know, sometime I got caught up on that too, but that reading is very powerful. Actually, that is the recent healing modality that I taking on, because it take years of training. This is my 30-year training, so this is probably the longest training I ever had for this healing modality, because our teacher, she's very responsible. We started with reading for yourself, then reading transmuting ancestral trauma, then the reading for others, then the next one we have actually, she's a design.
Speaker 2:Another course is actually, uh, called a reading for the world, for the world event, for the country. So each of the reading for different you know people, you will go through a lot of your self-healing. So I'm glad, actually, because I already started my healing work, which is, you know, I'm not just going to say, hey, I want to learn how to read this so I can read it for other people. No, I was. You know, I already have my other healing modality with me, so I did quite a lot of shadow work with myself. So when I start reading for myself so it's great way to have another tool to, from different angle, to show me what are something I'm working on. Then I can use different healing modality to actually working on that thing.
Speaker 2:So it's, it's a process, I, but I have to say um, with that it can show you a lot of things that you don't understand in this world of world, but it connected with some of them. They connect with your past life or they can show you a pattern that connected with another life or parallel life, because there's no past life, a lot of life. You are feeling it. So, yeah, another parallel reality, it's just on different time space, you know, in different, different frequency wise. So it's really a depth reading, but I also do, you know, normal oracle card reading because you know when you started those hidden journey. My journey is. I start with Reiki because I mean I think everybody is different.
Speaker 2:Yeah, like universe, will bring you um to the sequence of what you feel comfortable or discomfort for you, because that unlocks certain things for you. For me is a Reiki. You know, I went to a Reiki session because I already have some body sensation. I couldn't understand and I was. I did a crystal Reiki and I I woke up. And I woke up, I came out and started asking questions, because you don't know who to ask. Usually right at the beginning you have no idea what's going on you don't know what to ask.
Speaker 2:So when I had that Reiki and I'm like, okay, wait a minute, I have some questions, why da, da, da da? So I went out and is this person kind enough, can't explain some questions, but not fully, because I have so many questions. But then I was okay, you know what? I think I want to learn how to do reiki, because you go to any time. Reiki session is, let's say, 120 dollars per session, right, how?
Speaker 2:many sessions going a week or something like that. So I mean, you know what I'm gonna learn how to you know direct this energy, because everybody can you know it's just a part of how people show learn how to you know direct this energy, because everybody can you know. It's just a part of how people show you how to practice it. So I start from there and I'm like what is the next way that helped me connect with this energy that you know you connect, but you need a validation or reading. Cause is very, very, you know, kind of like, allow me to see what people's question when I don't know what they're going through, but I say the things that they were going through, they're like okay, that's a great validation. Because at the beginning of your healing journey or spiritual journey, is that you need the confirmation of validation right, eventually, later you, when you trust so much, you believe so much, you don't need anything to validate you.
Speaker 2:Now, when I'm reading, I don't need to cause, need to cause anything sometimes, but I do need people's consent because you're not supposed to go all their skin, everybody, you know. First of all, it's not ethical. Second of all, your energy is not going to sustainable. Third of all, you will not be enjoy your own human journey. I'm here as a human body first of all. The most I'm a human, so right, I'm a mother, I'm gonna have kids. I have have plants I eat, you know. So I don't, you know, unless people are in my, you know, in front me, have healing session with me, or when we talk about something I ask consent, you like, are you asking this for what you know, then I will kind of open up that door. Otherwise they are, they are, they are they are, stand back, they don't come here too close. They're like Gina, do Gina thing.
Speaker 1:Exactly. You know, and I always, you know, for me I'm very empathic and I don't know why people feel drawn that I may not even know them and they'll just tell me their life story, but I'm a good listener. So it's like okay, you know, I got this. But I remember the first time I could feel like you talked about being a healer. Yes, I felt that too. But just that sense of like this person needs to be prayed for. I don't know why, but something is going on, and I remember it was such a strong pull for this one person this is about 15 years ago and I said, hey, I don't know if you're going to just think I'm weird or what, but I'm kind of being led over to you to pray for you. And he's like, okay, and I just prayed.
Speaker 1:I grabbed both of his hands and prayed and it was like two or three weeks later I saw him again and he goes, can we talk? And I was like, yeah, he goes. Well, I was going through a lot of health problems and doctors couldn't figure out what it was. They did find that it was something cancerous, but it's gone away. And you know, that prayer, that prayer that you did, helped, I think and I didn't want to freak you out then, but I was just like, well, I'm glad I could help. I was at the right place at the right time, and that's all I can say.
Speaker 2:Yeah, everybody's a healer, you're just sometimes people don't know their psychic ability. Actually, two days ago, three days ago, when I went to an event and after events we have after parties, things like that and there's the I know my friend, and then he she has another friend there and we were talking about just spirituality, right, and then he's like, yeah, I'm not psychic and but he was telling me about the dreams that he dreamt. Then then things will happen exactly, and then so he knows that what's going to happen, so he will not go to the conversation in the way that's supposed to go. And I look at him. I was like you know what? Can you help me define what the psychic mean to you?
Speaker 2:because I think that's fundamentally some some definition of understanding perspective a little bit different and he told me of basically, his definition of psychability is somebody can, uh, like, change certain things. You know, like, use that, use that ability to change certain things. Something need to be in the reality, need to be changed. I was, you know what. You can hear things is a wall of the psychability called a clear audience. Okay, so if you have your intuition, tell you certain things you already have in the knowing. That's one of the psychability as well. So it's like the ability doesn't need to be. Do certain things in the reality is more of how you receive the information. And he looked at me. He's like okay, I think I want to have more deeper understanding because I have so many questions now. It's great to have another person to you know like you share with me your perspective, help me to understand.
Speaker 2:I was like, yeah, in life sometimes we are other people's mirror, right, like as a keeper. I'm other people's mirror, right like as a healer. I'm other people's mirror like I'm not here to change the things that you're not aware of and I'm not here to fix things for you. It's you know what you already have answered you, but don't, you don't have tool and we, as healers, act as some, as a guide, and have a tool to help you to operate on the things that you agree on, you have the things you not agree on. So that's the difference is that certain healer they they are, they want to help is because they want to fix things, which is nothing wrong with that. But sometimes it's not my thing to fix, it's not my say, hey, you need to do this. One, two, three, what do you have these people? Just one, two, one. They may be in this life, they will not even touch two and three. Maybe in next five lifetimes they will think about consider number two. So it's like everybody is on the divine timing.
Speaker 2:So, as a healer, as a guide, as do the spiritual work is like everything is spiritual. Spiritual doesn't mean I need to. You be fully what is your choice? To respect where you're at, and then you know, see you and accept you as the way. It is not what I want. Is that, if I, that's what I want, is my ego coming? It's not about God consciousness, it's like what? What's your agenda? We always have to be clear is do I have any agenda here? No, I don't, then okay, great you know right, yes, yes.
Speaker 1:and now I mean, as a spiritual healer, I've always wanted to ask this question and you don't have to answer it. It's just something because I've noticed it. Have you ever been around somebody where the energy was like really bad or really really off and you just wanted to stay away like as far as possible? But then you're, you're kind of questioning why is it so strong towards me, why am I thinking this, when you're such a nice person and it's like I don't know? I know we get challenges in life, right, but I think sometimes it could be sent in the form of a person also.
Speaker 2:Depends on situations. I think when you ask that question, I can think of different scenarios. Let's set a stage, okay. So if you are not aware, let's say, before I become a healer which means that maybe it's very impasse I already have my strong intuition. So you encounter people who has, let's say, certain traits, is really not in a toxic relationship. That time is actually actually you know universe or whoever they, they have to use this person to allow you to see the things that you don't see. You you know, which is sometimes you are. You're not see, ya, so that's why you're suffering pain. But once you are moved to, let's say, you already did a work of that, pick out the things, and when, let's say you already know who you are and you are, let's say, this relationship, you meet another person and when they carry this very intense energy or maybe they have an entity, I went through that too, like I didn't know what was going on. But then, when I realized that I'm looking to this person's eyes, but the thing is, the funny thing is the energy knows when you are not afraid of it, and they will kind of back out a little bit, it was a very empowerment empowerment moment per se it was. It was that. That's why I say different states.
Speaker 2:So before you have a healing journey or done any work, that was a scenario. You will feel drained, you will feel kind of victim, why? And you feel bad about it and you feel scared. And when you are, you are. That's another scenario. So now is this scenario? Is you can look into this energy that say, hey, I see you that you don't have power over me.
Speaker 2:But after you go through that stage, when you to the another stage, is this energy. You will notice it, but they will not close to you because they already know you carry the certain things. Universe either will help you to not have any contact with this, this um beings or this energy, because you have people protect you. First of all, you don't need to learn that lesson. You already learned the lesson, so you don't have to learn the lesson. Second of all, you will feel very interesting this person, that you always see them around in the community, but they will never be so close in your circle because they, your energy, is not vibrating. You know the energy cannot get their hands on you and also make the light you carry is so maybe, let's say, pure straight loving that they will not be able to even come to your energy field. That's, that's my. You know, those three stages, all level of those things you know. So that, yeah, that would be definitely.
Speaker 1:Yeah, wow, you answered that question really good. You gave me a lot of eye opening on that one. Well, real quick, I need to jump into another commercial with our sponsor. Um, snow bands. I don't know if you've seen them all over Facebook, but they're really cool.
Speaker 1:Um, they all have mantra words. Um, mine says hope, and then there's like love, peace, spiritlessness. Um, they also have faith. And just a hint hint, if you want the word faith in their discount code, you would have to write K H a for keep hope alive. So that's the only way you get faith.
Speaker 1:And then on the back of each one of these they have an elastic band and when you pull it and use the mantra word at the same time, it gives a vibration that goes through the hand and up to the brain to help with anxiety, depression, ptsd. It is a proven fact that is cognitive behavioral science that they have found that helps you handle all this. Now, all these bracelets are made with a vegan leather. They're very durable. I've had mine on for a year. I know when I use mine it's been sometimes to help me also fall asleep. Now I know for me.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I have a medical PTSD and I will always say thank you, doctor. But when I have to go to the hospital it's not a fear, because I've been getting needles ever since age nine, but I'm a hard stick. So I'm praying for the nurses that they find a vein. Usually it's six to eight times. But, give or take, I'm still praying. I'm using my SNAP band, but if you would like to look at these beautiful bands, see what they're about, you can do that Now. Every band bought they give a portion out to different foundations and groups that can help with this, you know, fighting depression and anxiety. So go visit them at wwwsnapbandscom and that is spelled S-N-A-P-P-B-A-N-D-Zcom. All right, well, let's get back, ms Gina. So I know the other things that you do some co-hosting, um for a show, I believe, and then also um. You have your podcast, and I want to learn more about those two yeah.
Speaker 2:So, uh, let's start with podcast. First, because there's a co-host opportunity, as you know, because universe had to prepare you. If you never interview people, you never be in a conversation with people. When you on the tv, now podcast, you can be just recording a voice, right, you get a comfortable with guests and ask questions. And when you co-host on the tv, it's very different because everything you are always in the in the screen, right, uh, and that's that's quite challenging. But you know, my podcast also started with 2020. You know the name also came so long story short podcast idea came from when we were in covid, right, and we also had black life matters and asian hate.
Speaker 2:That was the same year. So, as myself minority, you know, asian my baby mixed like mixed babies. So that time I was like, okay, if the whole world goes down, african-american doesn't have voice, asian doesn't have voice, those mixed baby definitely don't have any voice. And I was like what can I do? You know, like, what can I do? Like you know, yeah, the situation is like that, but individually, what can I do? So I was meditating, uh, and the name came called unity through Diversity. Because how can you unite the community, unite the world, is you honor the diversity of each being, each country, each, however, each plants or however you want to call it. So Unity Through Diversity born, the name born.
Speaker 2:But it took me a while to even putting the things together because, again, I had no any experience about anything about podcasting, right, and I was also in the midst of leaving a relationship. So my life and also I was on a healing journey myself, like I was the almost in the midst of almost end of my healing do not end, but the most traumatic things already went through. So, to end up 2020 also, I started my healing practice. So, the the same, the 2020 is very eventful and I really thank 2020, actually. So the podcast didn't really get going until probably after I moved to a different city, you know, probably end of 2021, I I had a 71 episode, very proud of myself. You know I interview people from all over the world to share their stories through their story, to empower and encourage other people, right. So instead I tell you what to do, I will share with you what I did with for me, so other to advise or something they feel called to. So that's the whole purpose of unity through diversity.
Speaker 2:Now, the reason I took a pause because I birthed a non-profit called united we go and that baby just took over all my time and energy and everything, basically, you know. So I had to focus on that so I paused. Uh, for for a little bit. Now we are bringing back, so we we're going to bring this podcast to this Good Karma TV network. So the show that I'm co-hosting called Voice of People. So they're streaming on Roku right now and in the summertime we'll be on Amazon and other you know the TV platform, wherever it will be.
Speaker 2:But it's a time for me to bring Unity Through Diversity back. But Voice of People is that it's a good common TV network. Their founder is also a nonprofit founder. That are in the community, we know each other that. He sees me always on news and TV and magazine and fashion this and that, and he, he kind of person know me as well. He came to my podcast as well before. So when he launched this voice of people, so he reached out and invited one me and another community member in our community to be the co-host, I was like yeah, why not.
Speaker 2:You know, it's actually helped me gain the experience of not just doing podcasting in a setting but with direct TV, you know you have to acting on the spot because they are live recording and with commercial blending in just like a little bit like what you have. But we have eight minutes We'll cut out in and in eight minutes we commercial eight minutes and then we wrap. So everything has happened on the set and the good thing is I don't have to do any editing because we have a production team. He's sitting behind the screen when we do everything. He already almost everything's done. He just needs to add a kind of maybe tune our voice down a bit.
Speaker 2:I talk pretty loud, you don't want peak, but other than that, he's ready to schedule to the tv platform and I had such great fun time because it's allowed me to uh, interview people, not locally, because with my podcast I already interview people all over the world. So to me is I'm not like adding something more, more of like I can distributing the guests to different platform. You know to, because your voice can share on. You need to diversity, but if they are have a non-profit or certain they are wrote a book or have certain program designed to support the people. I can also introduce them on the voice of people and I think well, win-win situation. I'm not creating another workload for me and I love talk. So if they have the producer back there, post-production can edit everything. I can talk a whole day.
Speaker 1:You can just go edit yeah, yeah, that's really good. Oh my gosh, you just, you're all over the place and doing good and um, guys, her picture for the podcast. Oh, you're going to take a look at that. She's so beautiful.
Speaker 2:I don't know which one I sent to you, though I have no idea.
Speaker 1:In the nature, the Zen, spiritual one. I love it. So it's just like that was just so beautiful. So what I was telling her? A lot of people don't know. I make my own podcast cover for every show also, so I put my heart and soul into that as I'm creating them. But other than that, yeah, definitely. So now, if somebody wanted to reach out and get in touch with you, how would they do that?
Speaker 2:Yeah, if you're a nonprofit, you can search us as United we Go. We are very active on social media Facebook, instagram and on the news. So United we Go, or Innocence Through Healing, is also we are on the news as well. Last couple of years has been on news stations so many times, or you can just find me just Gina Anayana. I feel like everything that we do is an extension of our energy. So when in the healing practice, like on Facebook, I call it Innocent Healing, but on Instagram I didn't want to create another business page for Innocent Healing because I am the healing practice, healing practice is in me, but I do have Unity Through Diversity, have separated Facebook and Instagram. United we Go have separate Instagram and Facebook, but for the healing practice I have inner sensory healing Facebook page, but Instagram, I think kind of like a little bit a mix of me because I it's me, that's different parts of me, but they all.
Speaker 2:Healing is my. If you ask me, gina, like if I can get rid of or not, how to say that? Like if only choose one thing to do, I probably would choose healing practice because this is my sole mission and everything else is the helping. You know people feel good about it, then they start talking. Then you have guests to share their story.
Speaker 2:If people don't feel safe to talk about it, if people are already triggered by so many things that don't believe their worth and value, they will not go out there do charity work, they will not go out there to share their healing story, right? So back to everything, the healing, but also back to everything. To everything, to everything is my only healing journey, because it depends on the color of the lenses I'm wearing. So if I am more heart centered, if I have more love, I will see the world. The universe will show me a world with more love, more hope. So everything's still back to me, this little dot. So when I start, when this started, getting bigger, getting stronger, getting more of have my own sovereignty, you're going to. You have no choice. But anybody who close to you, they will also get your juicy energy, like you said, why people join to you. You don't have to say anything like healing is not to say people sitting down with had session with me sometime in the grocery store, in the gym, in the supermarket, on the road, with a smile.
Speaker 2:People really can feel your energy, you know, and also we're all connected, you know. And also I don't need to go do any healing work by me understanding more things in my living room. The world is already a better place. So back to everything is we're going to focus on ourselves and be a better person and connect even deeper and trust more and love more and hope more and hope more.
Speaker 1:I like that. Yes, so well said right there. So that's the one thing you know. There's, you know, even when I'm at church and just where I used to go and I love it and I miss it now and trying to find a new church home. But they would talk about hope and gratitude and love and it all combines with the faith and you know you got to take each day for what it's worth. I talked to another person I interviewed and she was right on cue about collecting stories. We have one chance to live in this world and she's absolutely right. So you know, it's just those things that when we open our eyes, you know we need to take granted for what's here in front of us and, I think, more people.
Speaker 1:The book I wrote I'm not going to go in too much detail, but it's finding the peace and power within you and don't let ever fear take over, because it will try. But I'm awake, I know what my purpose is and I love it and I know my spiritual gift and I'm just like people will. Well, I think it's funny. A family member, why do you do this? You don't get paid. I go. I do this because it comes out of the kindness of my heart and I love people and I love hearing their stories. I don't need to be paid period, I'm like well, you get paid in a different way.
Speaker 2:You're paid by the connection with people. You can't by feeling, you know, like expanding your own and being giving to other people. So yeah, but our human is so fixed on the monetary thing which I get it, we all. As a spiritual teacher, you know spiritual like in the spiritual community, you know that's a that's part of I would say that's balance, the giving and taking, and I think a lot of healers are starting to feeling their own cup, not afraid to ask for monetary thing. But I think the most important is the heart. There's no money, dollar sign to on those things you know and I, yeah, I have people.
Speaker 2:When I on my healing journey I had a family member like not a direct family member, but questions like you know, gina, you should go to find a christian based spiritual or like christian based counselor or therapist. I was like what, why does it need to be christian based? Can I be the buddha, buddhist base, or why I need to be christian based? I'm nothing wrong with that, but it just when you hear those things like I didn't even commenting on that, like I just want to say what they have to say, but in my heart is I know it's like I respect it. Any religion, any culture, any color as long as I'll
Speaker 2:ask questions like what? What is your foundation of acting? You know, in life, moving through life, as long as love, compassion, peace, I really don't care where you come from, because I think you know if that makes sense to you, you learn that from that. Understand from that great think. You know if that makes sense to you, you learn that from that. Understand from that. Great for you. If I learn from buddhism, find a peace, love and compassion, great good for me, right. So why we need to have to be? I'm right, you are wrong.
Speaker 1:That's such a you know, opposite separation thing and yeah you, that's one thing people like to tell you oh well, we are in this religion, try this, you know, and something I've been a creative soul all my life and I've always wanted to see what different religions actually studied, and I'm always going to be a spiritual and I do go to Baptist church and I love it. Nothing changes there. But if I remember, I was listening about Buddhism and just you know, it was a podcast, I believe, or audio book, but I had my AirPods and I was like, uh-huh, yeah, I get that, I understand that, that, that that you know. But it made me see that there's so much more. You know, when we're sitting there at church, listen to the sermon, but we know these other factors too, and it all comes together. It just makes it that much stronger to be at that service and be like I get it, I understand, you know, and hearing whatever the lesson is that day makes it more powerful. So, yeah, you definitely have beautiful awareness.
Speaker 2:You know, like that was two years ago, five years ago Now, I was in Sedona and, uh, it was a spiritual retreat, but we had a spiritual quest. Right, you go to the. It's very hard, you cannot bring water, anything, so you basically are there for two, three hours. You know, soul searching, basically, uh, yeah, but but then I was literally at that moment. You understand that unity through diversity really really showing life with me is when you go to those places. Right, you have big trees, small tree, flower, whatever thing that's. That's what are we talking about here is I don't need to be like you, you don't have to be like me that big tree is never want to be this little, like, little flower here, or this flower doesn't want to be that big tree, like if everything has become big tree or everything becomes this little flower. So where are you going to be? So boring, you know, but the thing is that.
Speaker 2:But there's a lot of like, uh, how to say, when you compare things, you see the biggest, small, right, you know, yeah, this green or this yellow, however it is, and it's a human just filter that we're talking about. Like, actually funny thing, I have glasses here. Human feel somebody's orange, somebody's green, you know. So it really depends. I really want to help people to take these glasses off. It's wow actually. They are so beautiful. Different colors all there and, as they all needed, the rainbow have seven. You know level of color, not seven colors. It has so many colors there because if a rainbow just have one color, I I bet you're not gonna like it. Right. But in the human world the fun crazy is when you are human, you're, you know your community, you almost like when this person doesn't like you behave a little bit unique way. You're almost like oh, she's not belong here, right, like when you have all there, you can allow the different trees be there, but why you don't allow?
Speaker 2:another human look like you. It's kind of a lot of questions that we really can. Looking back, it's like, wow, all right, what I'm learning through the nature, right Through the like, you know, water, like, how can we, you know, bring people all in? You don't have to be the same as me and you don't have to agree with what I say, but I still love you, you know.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm still working on that, know. Yeah, you see, and that's the thing is so funny because I am trying to put myself out there in the world to date again. And you know, I always say, if it does not work out, if you know, I still would like to be friends because we communicate well on the phone. There's, you know, as a relationship coach. If they learn that about me before the date and I chose not to tell people anymore, I had one date where the guy goes. Can you help me get back to my ex-wife?
Speaker 1:And I remember going dear God in my head like what do you say?
Speaker 2:What do you say, I'm curious coach.
Speaker 1:I was like so, like, so I mean, that wasn't a day. All of a sudden it was a life coach session. I did not get paid.
Speaker 2:You just had a one, one day. Did you just have one day with this person?
Speaker 1:yeah, it didn't even last that long. I think I was there for like 20 minutes at the most and I got out of there because I didn't go for that, you know it was going to be session with you.
Speaker 1:Yes, and then I have other people like I'm actually thinking about using that best ability and adding courses now to keep hope alive. So I've been working slowly on that and I think hence maybe that's why I keep waking up early, because I'll sleep for like from maybe nine o'clock till two. But if I hear something in the house or something in my eyes.
Speaker 2:Nope, we got so much to do so yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 1:Well, I want to say gosh, gina, it was so nice having you on and learning all about you and what you do and stuff, so I'm glad you came on. I want to follow up within a year with you also and bring you back. Oh, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 2:I would love to have you to our podcast as well. You know, we have different platforms here, so we definitely can collaborate, you know more. Check in with me. I want to see a year later where I will be, because life goes so fast and sometimes through those conversations you're like, wow, last year you know you were this, you were talking that, and this year you're already there. You know, I love those conversations, definitely. Well.
Speaker 1:I love the person I interviewed. When I talked to her last year, it was about manifest what you want and she did it. So she came on to the show again and we had an interview, but I think she gave me the encouragement I needed to and kudos to her. And then, along the way, out of all the interviews, I did hearing people go no, you should write a book. And you know, my book was really hard to write for me because it's based on a true story and I didn't want to relive some of the moments. But the lesson I learned from it was so powerful and it's enough reasoning to start teaching. And so I decided to say, okay, well, I'm going to sit down and I'm going to get this book. And I was just riding away when everybody was asleep in the house, nice and quiet, with a cup of coffee going, I got this.
Speaker 2:To you. It's so empowering. And you know, follow your intuition, follow your calling. You know you are living your life, you know.
