Micah and Sander had a great conversation with Professor Christopher Ebert.

Professor Christopher Ebert is a historian of Latin American history from an Atlantic perspective. He received his PhD from Columbia University. His research has focused on colonial Brazil and Portuguese Atlantic expansion, including trade and shipping. He has also studied Dutch trade and Atlantic expansion. He is the author of Between Empires: Brazilian Sugar in the Early Atlantic Economy, 1550-1630 and is now completing a book manuscript based on research in Europe and Brazil on the social and economic history of Salvador da Bahia, Brazil's first colonial capital.
