In this episode, we talk with Dr. Paul Zak who is a renowned Neuroeconomist talks about the role of oxytocin in creating extraordinary experiences, measuring those experiences, and predicting behavior. Dr. Paul Zak's bio:
Dr. Paul Zak is a Neuroeconomist. He currently works as a professor and Director of the Center for Neuroeconomic Studies at Claremont Graduate University as well as Chief Immersion Officer for a software neuroscience company called Immersion. He is well known for being among the first to research and discover the role of oxytocin in creating trusting behaviors between strangers. Dr. Zak has also been listed by researchers at Stanford University as being in the world's top 0.3% of the most cited scientists. In 2016, he was featured on the Bachelor as Dr. Love and he also has a TED talk that’s garnered over 1M views. He graduated from San Diego State University with a Mathematics and Economics degree and earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
