SPEAKER_01Today I've titled my message, Are You Waiting or Are You Wandering? Are You Waiting or Are You Wandering? And this is something for three weeks now that has been kind of brewing on my heart. It's this reality that Christians are so good at their religious garbage, their religious nonsense. And you can kind of uh Christianize it all you want. You can slap labels on those things all you want. But at the end of the day, we've got to be able to identify why we are stuck. And if you're not stuck, fantastic. Turn to your neighbor and congratulate them. Maybe it's them. Congratulations. But this message is also for the people that are just flying high right now and you're in the flow. This is to help safeguard you from getting stuck. You know, if there's a flow, if there's a waterfall, I've been to Hawaii many, many times, and uh that we we've been underneath the waterfalls, and I can tell you that you can be underneath the waterfall and not get one bit of wetness on you. There's no water. Because all you gotta do, if if if that's where the the waterfall is, and I'm here, I'm not gonna get wet. My hair's gonna be dry. I might get a little splash, I might get a little sprinkle every every every now and again. But the difference between me being inundated with that flow, with that water, is just a couple of steps, and all of a sudden you're just drenched. So that in the spirit is what's happening here today. For some of you guys, all it takes is just one step forward. It's one understanding that maybe the way that I'm thinking isn't so great. Maybe these things that have been passed down through generations of women in my family need to be uh pulled out of me. Because although it sounds religion, it's not in the word of God. Whatever will be, will be. Amen. No, that's not in the word, that's a poem from some Spanish chick. So these are five, and I I want to say it's it's like a theology. We build this understanding based on the word of God that now begins to create the reality of what we're stepping in and what we're living in. And this is what believers do the best. But I want you to understand here today, but that there is a difference between waiting and wandering. Israel had a promise, and the promise of Israel was that they were going to go into the promised land. Why? Because God said so. And he said, I want you to go. I'm gonna, I want you to take 12 spies and I want you to see my faithfulness. And so they went and they took 12 spies. And when they went into the land, 10 of them came back with an evil report, and only two came back with a good report. And why did did the Bible say it was an evil report? Because it was full of unbelief. It wasn't bad because they were scared, it was bad because there was no faith. And after all that God had done for them, you would think you parted the Red Sea, you provided manna for us, quail, you led us through the day with a pillar of uh a cloud, and then uh uh by night a freaking pillar of fire. I mean, you'd think that people would have the common sense to be like, this is supernatural. So if God tells me that I can go into this land, surely I'll be able to go into the land. But even then, turn to your neighbor and say, mm-mm. Even then, ten of them came back with an evil report. We can't go in there, there's giants, and they looked at us and they thought that we were grasshoppers. See, you've created a narrative that has stopped the momentum, that has stopped the flow of the blessing of God. When in the world did that happen? It didn't, and you want to know why? Because back a few chapters later, when they go into the promised land later with Joshua and Caleb, Rahab says, We've heard about you, and our hearts are melting within us with fear and trembling because we know the God that you serve and what he's done for you. So ultimately, they didn't believe that they were grasshoppers. They probably thought that they were some type of aliens. What the heck? We're sacrificing to our gods, and we can't get the our gods to part the Red Sea like that. So all of a sudden, they've created a narrative that didn't even really exist. But it was this narrative that took them out of the flow of God. Then here's what ends up happening later. After God is ticked off and he's like, Oh, you're gonna, you're gonna have what you said. Sometimes I think like, why are like moms the way they are? You know what I'm saying? And it's like, because they probably read the Bible. Because if if you're messing around and all of a sudden, it's like when when I would get hurt, my mom said, Don't get on that bike right now, it's raining. I still got I got myself up on that bike, and then I slipped and fell. And back in the day, for people that are here that are younger than 40, a bike is um two two wheels, you get on it, you mount it, and then there's pedals. So I was on that bike, and it was like the the bottom of it was exposed through much use, you know? So there was like a rubber thing, and we pulled it out. And so that rubber, um, that rubber thing came off, and then all that was left was like a metal pole. So when I flipped my bike, that metal pole went right into my stomach.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And it was this big gnarligant. And I was like, ah, and mom was like, see, told you. There was no sympathy there. So, like, snapped me out of it. I was like, all right, I guess.
SPEAKER_01But this is God. He's like, I told you. I told you that I would take you there. Why are you doubting my words? And now that you have said what you had to say, you're gonna die the way you thought you were gonna die. Right here in the wilderness. And so they they they started weeping and mourning and then blah, and then what ended up happening? Then there was a group of dummies that were like, you know what? We're gonna go into the promised land. And so they go to Moses and we're like, My bad, we're gonna go in. And Moses is like, don't do that. Because God already gave you that verdict, just sit pretty. And they're like, No, we've recognized our error and we're gonna go in because now God has said it. When they went in, they all died. The giants surely annihilated, they got a whoop butt. And so I want you to understand that it wasn't like it's not the direction, it's the fact that God wants to know that he has your heart. So it's just interesting to me that there's some people that get um different directions, right? Some people, God is saying go, some people, God is saying stay. It might be different, but at the very heart of what God is trying to do in your life is to try to develop a relationship with you of obedience and faith. And why is faith so important? Because faith is our connection with God Almighty. And if we sever our connection with God, then God cannot show himself strong on our behalf. He can't show up for you, he can't do what he wants to do until you align yourself and get underneath that waterfall. Can you say hallelujah? So they couldn't move forward. So, what was the result of this entire thing? Delay. But delay was not evidence that God had some mysterious 40-year plan for them. He already told them what he wanted to do, and and for some reason, this is the way Christians work in this realm of of charismatiacs. Well, I'm just gonna pray in the Holy Ghost. Pray in the Holy Ghost, fall, sling, snot, cry. But when you get up off this floor, there should be a direction for your life. And then you go back and you treat your husband the exact same way, like garbage. I remember, I don't care how you package it, and this is this is the problem with Christianity, especially here in America. This is a problem. And I remember many, many years ago, and there was this individual that uh was very tough to get along with. I'm saying this very diplomatically. She was a jerk, and so she came um after and she was like, Hey, you know, I went to school and and I'm just having like a problem with my professors, and I'm failing. I'm failing the class. And I know it's because I sing, and I'm anointed, and they just don't love the anointing. And you know, people were like encouraging her, and they were like, Yeah, no, that's right. They hate the God that's in you, and I'm thinking, like, no, you didn't study. It's a Spanish class, and you suck at Spanish. Also, you're a jerk. You see, you can label it and slap a sticker on it, but it doesn't matter, it's expired. You know what I'm saying? You could say that this is gonna be uh good and ready for another two weeks, but if if I smell the stench of something that's rotting, then it's rotting and it needs to be thrown out. Amen. And so this is what we do as believers is we kind of like create these theories and this theology, backing our stagnancy and our fruitlessness as something that is God ordained. When God has already told them, This is what I want from you. But what kept them out of Israel was unbelief because God already told them what they needed to do. So it's so easy, it's wicked easy for the Boston people. This wicked easy for you to just go about life and just continue to blame God. You know, God is the one, you know, He's just He's showing me something here. God is just is working something out. This delay, he's just trying to work this patience on the inside of me. No, at some point, you've gotta self-evaluate. And this for revival today churches, across the land, across the nation's border, has to be something that we are familiar with today. We've gotta constantly self-evaluate. Where am I right now? Am I in a healthy place? Am I producing much fruit? Everybody can call themselves a Christian, but what are you producing? Is it failure constantly? Is it a lack of love? You know, we've got Super Sunday happening here in just a few weeks. Why is it that some people don't care about humanity going to hell? I'd have to question your fieriness and your love for God at that point. Because every time I look at the masses, I think to myself, are these people going to heaven? It bothers me. I can't go to Disney World without even thinking about that. It's like, look at these masses. Were they at church this week? Did you show enough energy like you done show up at Disney with your ears, your fanny pack, you know, things all over? Buttons. Did you are you going that hard for God? And and sadly, I know that's it's no. So that breaks my heart. God has given us America, God has given us these churches strategically so that we can permeate, that we can have our tentacles reach out, not just to this Fort Worth area, but all of Texas. Turn to your neighbor and say, you have a part to play. And that's to me the heart of this message. Take responsibility, take onus of your life. Quit putting it into the ethereal. If God has declared a promise for you, receive it by faith here today and don't talk about it or cry about it another day. There's a way of doing this that is very effective. You don't have to be 20 years without fruit, just convincing people that God is trying to show you a lesson. We don't know why God hasn't done this. Uh, I can tell you why. So instead of spending your years asking, why hasn't God done this yet in my life? I want you to ask something more biblical. What has God already told me to do that I still haven't done? When I wrote the the children's series, that's the that's the question the Holy Spirit gave me. And I had suffered an attack in my body, I lost my body, I was bleeding for six months, and now I'm into January and I'm in this time of prayer and fasting, and I'm crying out to God, I'm depressed, I'm panicked, I'm suicidal, I'm all those things, and I am the wife of an evangelist. Make that make sense. And so I'm crying out to God and I'm like, this is injustice. Like, why am I at this place? I feel unfulfilled. I feel like, you know, the devil should have killed me back in July. Like, why am I feeling this way? I need a new lease in life. And that was my prayer for the 21 days of prayer and fasting. And on the second week, God answered me. And I'm in my closet, and it's a little teeny tiny closet, and I'm on my knees, and I'm crying out to God, and I'm saying, God, I need a new lease in life. And he said, Did do what I told you to do that you haven't done. And said, God, I I beg of you. I need a new lease. And he said it again, do the thing that I told you to do that you haven't done. And then I'm sitting there and I'm thinking, like, what? And it was that book. It was the children's book. Because for me, I'm no author at the time. So I'm thinking, like, why would you have this? Why would you put this on my plate? I don't need to do that. I don't know where this artist is gonna come from. So I had a thousand uh, you know, excuses not to fulfill what God had called me to do. But in my refusal to move in that direction, I myself placed myself at a place of stuckness. Mind your business. So I was stuck. But then God gave me the remedy. He said, Do what I told you to do that you haven't done. And I want you to ask yourself those questions. When you're feeling the pressure, when you're feeling the resistance, when you're feeling type uh uh uh some type of stagnancy, what is it that I can do to change this situation? That's a much more responsible question than God. What are you doing? Father, what can I do to learn from this? You know, I would have it that every staff member on Revival Today Today staff stays with us. But unfortunately, I can't force them to ride this out properly. So I over-emphasize, me and Pastor Mike was talking about it on our recon on Friday. You gotta stay spiritual, you gotta be able to take correction, you gotta be able to align yourself up with the vision and the word and the mandate that has been given to this house. And if you can't, I can't force that upon you. But here's the thing if I continue to lose pastors left and right, and I just say this is an attack from from God or from from from Satan. This is an attack from Satan. God's trying to show me something here, I haven't been able to maintain one employee. At some point, I've gotta get real and understand it's not them, it's me. And so I've recognized that. In fact, when we launched this church, we had two individuals come on board, and they had since left. And so I sat down with that individual and I said, Hey, what can I do better? I understand you're leaving. We bless you, we love you, we honor you in this way, whatever it is you choose to do, like we we'll we'll rally right behind it. But I asked him, I said, What can we do better? And he said, Oh, Pastor Adolis, we love you. We're gonna be with you for till the end of time. And I said, Don't do that. You're leaving because of something. Tell me what it is. And he said, Communication sucks. And I said, Thank you. And then all of a sudden, I start orchestrating a better form of communication with my team. Because the reality is that I played a part in that individual leaving my team. Oh no, you didn't, Pastor Dell. Yes, I did. Because if I'm at the top of this thing with my husband, then it all falls back on Jonathan and I. So we're not instituting something that's making that person feel valued, seen, or heard. And so we've changed it up. And now we've developed all these kinds of new systems, which I'm sure is annoying the heck out of our 90 employees, but I don't care. Because I want to develop this thing so it's foolproof, so that you know, listen, your job is to be transparent with me. Because that's what the Bible says. If you've got a problem with a certain individual, you don't post it on Facebook. I didn't read that anywhere. You're not kind of like vaguing it and masquerading it with just a frowny face, hoping that somebody's just gonna hey. I'm fine. Women are so good at that. I was raised by women. I was raised in a house of all women. I get it, but that's not an appropriate way to show you know that there's a disagreement. The appropriate way is to go to that individual and talk it out. And the Bible says if you can't agree, then bring in a mediator. But the hope is that we can agree on something. We might not see it eye to eye, but there's some type of common ground that we can both agree on, and his name is Jesus. So that's the promise. Regardless of how we see things, we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and we can agree to that. And you're my brother, you're my sister, and I wish you the best. That's it. So it would be awesome if people would fall in alignment, but people don't. And I can't help that. But I've now created a system and developed a system where people can know this is how it's done. See, it didn't come just because you know there was no pressure, it came because I saw there's a problem somewhere. If people aren't sticking around, it's because something needs to get rectified. See, that is full responsibility. And you know what? We're moving, we're growing more than we've ever grown before. And why is that? Because we got real about the situation. So, what's the difference between wandering and waiting? Wandering, because I looked it up in the Webster's uh 1828. Wander is to rove, to ramble here and there without any certain course or object in view. It also carries the idea of deviating, departing, going astray, and leaving the prescribed course. Wandering is movement without obedient direction. What is waiting? Waiting is to stay or rest, but here's the thing: in expectation. It's to stop or remain stationary until the arrival of some person or event. It carries the sense of remaining in expectation or readiness. Waiting is remaining in expectation because God has given you a reason to remain. Wandering is continuing without clear direction because you've departed from what God said. So there is a difference. Are you wandering like the Israelites or are you waiting? Because he said, listen, I'm taking you the long route. I'm taking you the long way to the promised land. Because I know that there's some things on the inside of you that need to be wrought out. There's some fights that I gotta train you for. And there was a moment they didn't come just from look up on Chat GPT what the official mileage is from where they were at um in the Red Sea and then the Promised Land. And I I promise you it's not, you know, a 20-year course or whatever it was, however long it took for them to get from the thing to the thing. How many? Forty.
SPEAKER_03It wasn't forty years. I promise you it wasn't. What is it? She's thinking about it.
SPEAKER_01A hundred and sixty-five miles. Get out of here. I could if you give me the right car, I could do that in just a few hours. Give me that motorcycle, you guys were prophesying. I'll do that in no time. But he's the thing, that's an 11-day journey, and it took him 40 years. So obviously, God was trying to do something, but then on and and on that queue, on that moment where God says, okay, now move in that direction, they stalled. And there was a hiccup, and now they're no longer just waiting for that command to go. They are now wandering in the wilderness. And why is it? What was the cause of it? Hebrews tells us it was their unbelief. So we have to get real with the situation. These are the five things that I wish would fall from your life forever. Number one, a theology that we create that's really toxic, and it's leaving us at a place of stagnancy. Number one, this is my lot in life. What does that mean? This is my lot in life. I had a a roommate, and um she was in this really toxic relationship. And I said, Hey, God has something better for you than this. You know, he's he goes missing, he's he's he's into all kinds of drugs, he doesn't treat you right, he's cheating on you left and right. And you know, she had the audacity to look at me and say, That this is my lot in life. And I said, I'm sorry, what? And then I suffer the friendship immediately because I'm like, I can't relate to that kind of nonsense. But this is the kind of mindset that we carry as people that have been in this system for more than two years. It's like God is behind every delay. God is the one that's you know doing this to me. God is the one that is handpicked this lot in life. I am I'm stuck, I am miserable, but this is, I guess this is just my lot in life. But I want you to understand that waiting never means stagnation. Joseph always kept advancing wherever he was. David kept fighting and winning. He was crowned, he was anointed to be king, but it didn't happen right away. Does that mean he just locked himself underneath that tree with the sheep the rest of the time? Absolutely not. There was advancement, there was movement going forward. Abraham kept moving. God gave him a promise, but he didn't stay put. He continued to advance. Paul kept preaching, even though there was the entire crowds coming against him. So scripture actually gives us of these delay uh uh of examples of delay, but they were not God's desirable timeline when it comes to the the the the the Israel and and them wandering, it wasn't his perfect plan. Can you say hallelujah? See, biblical waiting is not spiritual paralysis, and that's where most of us get it wrong. It's like, well, I can't move and we're just waiting on God. How about we self-evaluate? I know for a fact that there's churches that have gone against um the word of God back in COVID and are now paying a heavy price for it because all churches have completely, you know, the people in the churches have disappeared. What was once a strong church because they fell in alignment with that mandate, now it's like scarcely attended. And they can say, we just don't know why God does certain things. I can tell you why. And see, what we do matters. What we do has a ripple effect. If Jonathan cheated on me, there would be a heavy price to pay. Not just bodily with the bullet holes. Every church is gonna feel that. There are people here that your family is like, why are you with that church? Women preach there. That guy is is is a jerk. Have you heard what he said on X? It's crazy what he says on X. You know what I'm saying? My husband's a very polarizing figure, you know. You either love him or you hate him. But some of you guys are here and it's like you're you're you're pushing up against that. If Jonathan shows up with some hussy on a front of a newspaper or magazine articles or on Facebook, whatever, it's a rap. This church is is donezo. People are gonna be like, I told you, and then you're like, Yeah, I guess you're right. I guess they're all the same. See, like one action, one one one thing that we do has a ripple effect. And that's just the way it is. And you know, there's some people that have the audacity to be like, well, the church, I've got church hurt. Because I used to be a worship singer, and now people don't even want me in their church. Yeah, because they caught you in cabo with a hussy. It's not like am I am I crazy? Maybe, maybe I'm like so happy that I didn't, I wasn't raised in the the religious bubble. Because I have eyes to see the reality behind what the heck is going on. So, so so bandage it up all you want. I'm church hurt because people have done me wrong. Because I I I I I I cheated on my husband and they didn't forgive me. Well, this is a high and holy calling. This carries a lot of weight. Double honor, but double judgment, buddy. So you gotta you gotta man up and say, you know what, I missed it, but I'm getting ahead of myself. They couldn't enter because of their unbelief. God already told them that they had the land. God said, go. But unbelief is what turned the entrance to the wilderness. So now people are saying it's God's timing when really it's unbelief. Some are calling it a season. This is my season, and we don't, we just this is my sea for everything, there's a season, Pastor. And this is my season of mourning, sister. You've been mourning for 15 years. I'ma tell you what, and that's exactly where the devil wants you. Because you don't understand, you don't recognize this isn't a season, this is a sick cycle. So there is a difference. Are you in a season or are you on a cycle of perpetual torment? Are you in a cycle of fear? Are you in a cycle of perversion? You can't get out of it. You gotta break out of that today. Can you say hallelujah? Number two, fruitlessness that's disguised disguised as faithfulness. I clearly don't know how to spell. I wrote disguided. That's not even a word. So the lack of results that I have in my life, Pastor, proves that this is just like a testing. And God is testing me right now. And I might not be able to see why my marriage isn't functioning right now, but I just believe that, like the prophet married the prostitute, that that's what God's doing in my life. I legit heard that. And God is showing me something through this horrific witch that I married. And these are things that we do to like self-protect. Because it turns our fruitlessness into something that's spiritual. Oh, well, we're not seeing this because it's an attack. And Satan is just attacking, and he just continues to attack in my marriage. Okay, why has it been this way for the last 10 years? Go. Well, you could just say, I am being a little selfish. I want him to be a certain way. I want him to be Pastor Mike. And unfortunately, he's not. And why is that? Where did you guys meet? At Hooter's. But I just want him to be Pastor Mike. I want him to pray for me and declare the word of God over my life. Pastor Sherry has it so good. John 15, 8 says, but by this my Father is glorified that you bear much fruit. Fruit matters. Turn to your neighbor and say, fruit matters. Fruit matters. A good tree produces good fruit. A bad tree produces bad fruit. I just had a message uh from an individual, and he he's a graduate from our Bible school, and he said, Listen, I am working with this guy who is a self-pro-proclaimed Christian, but he owes me $12,000 and he won't return my phone calls, and he doesn't go to church, and he doesn't, you know, live, he's he's he's smoking and he's drinking and he's doing all kinds of things at the weekends, and he's like, but I know what the Bible says. He's a nice guy. I know what the Bible says, and it says not to sue a Christian. And I said, He's not a Christian. I said, because a Christian produces good fruit. If you say that you're a Christian, you should be producing good things. If you say you're a Christian and you hate black people, you ain't a Christian. If you're a Christian and and you go out to Hooters, chances are the Lord has to complete the work. Surrender. You know, surrender. Surrender. But here's the thing, there's there's there's fruit, and fruit matters. And so I told him, I said, sue him. He ain't no Christian. Because a Christian would would would would take care of those kinds of matters. And at the very least, he can say, hey, I don't have that money for you right now, but let me let me make up a pay payment plan. See, that's that's the that's the ethical thing to do, that's the right, godly thing to do, not just avoid him and put him, ghost him. He is a he's a young guy with a with with three boys, newly married. You don't do that to an individual. He worked all summer for you and now you won't pay him. He ain't no Christian. So fruit matters. Turn to your neighbor and say it. Fruit matters. You know, after 20 years, you should be producing something. You should not be in the same place. The the the the the the the law of God is built on increase. Everything of God always increases, including you. Not just wait, but I'm just saying in your spirit. Someone's like, I'm going to Popeyes. No, I'm saying like everything should grow. Where I'm at today is not where I was two weeks ago. I'm learning, I'm growing, I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm developing things because I'm flowing with God and I know where I'm at right now. I was telling my team that if if if I bring correction to you, understand this. It's to better you because where we where we're going requires a better version of you. Well, you change. Yes, I have. Because hoodie people will will will will cook it up for you like that. Well, you changed. Yeah, I'm 42. The last time you saw me, I was 15. I changed, I've matured, I've grown, but somehow, oh, you've changed. Now you're like a part of that church. Yes, yes, I am. Because I've connected my life with the source of life, and now I've got life in abundance. Of course, I'm gonna change. So don't be ashamed of that. Change is something that's required to get you to the next level. You staying the same isn't benefiting anybody, and that's why a lot of people hate this message because people hate change. Some people are still going to their church that they've gone to when they were 17 years old and now they're 62. Why? Because my mom said that I had to go there, and they don't believe in the Holy Spirit, they don't preach a message that is beneficial to you in any way. But why is that? Because we're afraid of change. They're afraid of change. But something has to change. There has to be greater wisdom, character, integrity, spiritual authority, healthier relationships that ensue, better leadership qualities, more people that are disciples, a greater effectiveness, more maturity. Do you feel me? Even if these circumstances haven't changed and we're in this building, which we're not, you know, this building has been a blessing and it's also been a source of frustration in my life. Pastor Mike, shut up. I'm like, how many Spanish people, uh Spanish speakers are here? I have this thing. I'm just talking to you guys, everybody else, mind your business. Um, I have this thing that when I feel like things aren't going the right way, and that people are actively coming against what has to happen. I I I I go to God and I said, here, me deben una. They owe me. And I'm leaving it in your hands because it's not up to us. See, I could I could throw myself out of that flow if I harbor resentment and bitterness towards individuals in the body. I'm not doing that. That's not my place. And let me tell you, as a Puerto Rican from Boston, Massachusetts, it's easy second nature. It's human nature to Pastor Lolly. I will sever you at the knees and sleep like a baby. You know, so I gotta work on that. Every day of my life, I gotta work on that. I gotta give myself up house. That's why this is a reality for me too. Because there's some times, sometimes where you're like, I'm gonna go after this individual. And it's nothing to do with we were just talking about the church. It's nothing to do with this kind of so um, you know, I'm I'm sitting here and I'm like, I gotta, I gotta leave this in the hands of God. But Lord, I don't, I might forgive, but I ain't forgetting what happened here. I ain't forgetting the words that you spoke about my husband. I wish you the best. May the Lord God wrap his feathers around you. But I have not forgotten, but I leave it on the in the hands of the Lord, and you know what? He is the most wonderful vindicator. I mean, I've sat down and I was like, Lord, you blow me away. I thought I was Petty La Belle.
SPEAKER_02You he gets creative, he gets creative, I don't know why I even started on that point.
SPEAKER_01I'm just saying, so you know, this building has been a blessing. Amen. But it's time to get on up out of here. It's time to carry our roots, dig our roots deep into the soil of the land. You know, real estate matters to God. There's powers and principalities, there's there's things that we have to do that if we're about our father's business that we've got to do while we're yet in the land of the living, and that's to take over this place. We can't allow uh uh Islam to come in. That's our place. So when we position ourselves in territories and we take it over, that's us telling the devil, you have no place here. So that's why. Well, wow, you're just so ambitious, you're just starting up churches. Yeah, because there's purpose to it, there's a reality to it. It's not just to amass lots and lots of properties, it's because we know that Jesus is coming back very shortly and there is work to be done. So it's just disguised, is you know, if we just stuck in here. And there's times where it's like, yeah, let's go. What's going on? Why has this not happened yet? And I'm frustrated, but we never stalled out, it was always on the increase, we're always making moves to advance. We've got outreaches here almost every day. Because we're making strides, we're moving forward. Can you say hallelujah? And you know what God did? He met us, and he's like, Oh, because he goes with the goers, he doesn't stay back with the stayers. So he's like, Oh, you're gonna do this for me? Here's a building, just pops up like popcorn. Why? Because we're doing what we were created to do, and we're not we're not just saying, oh, this just isn't working, so I guess we should just stop bringing people in. Well, we can't meet on Wednesdays because there's a program here for painting your toes. We can't meet there. Uh well, you know, because even though there's no nobody here, just go into the utility closet and meet there. Well, okay. It's easy to get really frustrated, amen. But we're gonna keep moving forward. And we didn't stop. Look at you guys, how many of you guys were here for the back backpass pack uh whatever? That was awesome. You know, don't don't quit moving forward. Keep producing. You might not be where you're at. That's okay. Turn to your neighbor and say that's okay. We're still making moves, we're still gonna advance. Number three, my choices have little to do with my outcomes. It's the vic no, it's not. I got scared. No, I'm not. This is just a hypothetical person. Number three, victimhood. You know, people make decisions, period. Whether they're good, whether they're bad, they're gonna mistreat people, they're gonna reject the counsel, they're gonna burn up relationships, they're gonna prioritize things that they should not prioritize. Uh, they're going to refuse correction, they're gonna act dishonestly, they're gonna surround themselves with bozos who don't have the power to. Change them. But when consequences accumulate, the explanation always comes back to God hasn't released my breakthrough yet. They can't even sing, we're going to another level. But there's another possibility, and it's found in Proverbs 19:3. A man's own folly ruins his life. Yet his rage or his heart rages against the Lord. So this is the kind of mindset that you've got to be able to distinguish, decipher that. Like, is it is it is it God or is it me? Can I look back at my relationships and say, these were God relationships, or were they used by the enemy to pull me away from God? And in that fracture my marriage, fracture my business. You've got to identify those things. The Bible says, be as wise as serpents, but as harmless as doves. A serpent is looking to see what's happening. Ten steps, he's 10 steps ahead of you. And we've got to evaluate our life with this kind of understanding that dead nabbit, sometimes it's me. I've been there. I've seen the the the fractures of something that a decision that I made or a mindset that I made that I was so devoted to because this is I'm a female, I'm Puerto Rican, I I am, I feel justified feeling this way because there's proof. And you might have the right to feel offended, but you lost that right when you serve Jesus. Because he said, Don't be offended. So we've lost the privilege of staying in offense. Even though you might be justified in that offense, you've lost that privilege to stay there and wallow in it. Why? Because God knows more than you, and he understands if we wallow in this kind of defeat and mindset, we can't produce. And if you don't forgive, you're not even gonna make it to heaven. That's a that's a that's a that's a heavy reality that we have to understand. A person's old foolishness creates the conditions, and somehow God is the one that ends up carrying the blame for the outcome. Turn to your neighbor and say, Hell no, not after today. We're gonna get real about the situation. I'm gonna quit, I'm gonna quit blaming God. I have a part to play in it too, right? Lord, what am I doing wrong? That's what you should be asking. It's not just about God's timing. You have to get comfortable with asking an uncomfortable question, which is, what have I done wrong? What can I do better? Lord, what am I doing that I can fix? And that's that's that's gut-wrenching. Sometimes the Holy Spirit is gonna tell you some things. In my marriage, I've had a lot of those moments. The second year of marriage, Jonathan's like, that's my wife over there that can't fit into her wedding dress anymore.
SPEAKER_03She's wearing double spanks. And I said, You mind your business.
SPEAKER_01I wasn't even wearing spanks, I was still like, you know, a hundred pounds soaking wet. But I looked at him and I said, if you ever do that, I will stab you while you're sleeping. There was a season there that I was harbor dead against him. And I was like, keep my name out your mouth. You know, so here's the thing. You had to forgive. So I was like, Lord, have mercy. Like, yeah. And then there was, you know, I I tried, you know, because you try, you're like, I'm just gonna work this through. And then I I would see myself getting a little snippy and sharp, you know, like a jagged little pill. And then I was thinking to myself, like, wait a minute, this is not okay. And then the Holy Spirit would be like, hey, you still haven't forgiven him about that. And I was like, I haven't. And he's like, You've gotta, you've gotta be able to roll with the punches. He didn't mean anything by it. And this is the Holy Spirit talking me through. And he's like, but we can't move forward. You're not gonna move in hell in a healthy fashion from year two of this marriage if you don't learn very quickly that this is his sense of humor. And he means nothing by it. And I thought, okay, you've got it, Father. I forgive him and I forgive him forever in Jesus' name. And now he could just pop off at the mouth, and I'm like, don't care. You know, because I've I've already done if I know that something could cripple my my future with something that I love, I'm gonna get rid of that. So if it's offense, this is just the way it is, and now I'm adding to it. So now we've become one, and we're just like, you know, there's a lot of people that counsel married couples and they say, hey, don't be sarcastic. Well, Jonathan and I, that's our love language. So I can't relate to each his own. You know, but our hearts are right. And so you've got to learn that. Lord, what am I doing wrong? Why do I feel like I'm always going through this cycle again? It's not just a season. I just keep it like a one cycle after the next of torment, of, of, of fighting, and and blah, blah, blah. Father, just point it out. Easy, easy, rectifiable situation. Number four, you're frustrating your faith by leaving it in the future. Someday God is gonna do. Someday God will show himself strong on my behalf. God is not the God of tomorrow. God is the God of right now. The only thing at our disposal is right now. And the enemy wants to convince you that someday you can get saved. When you're older, when you're done partying, you can just get saved. You are not guaranteed tomorrow. You are not under the umbrella of protection uh that comes from God. So you're not guaranteed tomorrow. We're not even guaranteed tomorrow because Jesus could come at any moment. So we have to live ready and live on purpose. So this is one of the biggest lies that people are dealing with. Someday God will do it. Someday we're gonna grow. Someday the breakthrough is gonna come, someday everything is gonna change. But biblical faith is not vague optimism projected indefinitely into the future. Hebrews 11:1 says, now faith is. Faith responds to what God says. David didn't sit uh uh at the camp saying, you know what, one day, God, I believe that Goliath is gonna die. I'm gonna leave this basket, this fruit basket for my brothers, but I'm out. This looks ominous, and you know what? I'm just gonna cover you in prayer. You know, so many people love to do that. Oh, Pastor Mike, you're starting a uh a women's shelter. I'm gonna cover you in prayer. Shut up, Jonathan does that. Olivia is my witness. I'm I I've got he's got the headset on for Call of Duty or whatever it is he's playing, MLB, and I've got 17 bags because I'm only making one trip. You can you you'll know that I'ma only make one trip. I've got six bags on my legs, one around wrapped around my head. And he goes, Lord, help her, Shandaba Sitiara, help her. I can't pull away from this game right now. I'm in the ninth inning, ishadabah. And he makes me laugh every single time. Because he knows how to work the system, because he knows if I just go in there with humor, she's gonna forgive. And I do every single time. I'm gonna suck over that. Now faith is. Now it's today. Today is the day of salvation. So we've got to understand that David wasn't going out just praying ethereal prayers. He was saying, you know what? No one's gonna do this, and he's talking crap about my God. I'm gonna throw myself in there. And the Bible says, God that uh David ran after Goliath, he took care of business, he wasn't just waiting for it to happen like everybody else. I don't know what they were waiting for in those 40 days, but uh David said, You know what? Today is the day that God is gonna hand you over to me and I'm gonna chop your head off and go after the rest of you. And that's exactly what he did. And at some point in our faith, that's how we have to understand that that's the way life goes. Things aren't just gonna happen in the future, things have to happen right now. If all I have is right now that I'm using right now to my advantage, and I will speak words of faith, I'm gonna believe God for the increase, I'm gonna do what God tells me to do and act on his word. Why is it someday? It's today. I receive that's what faith is. I receive it now. Faith is believing that you've received it already. You haven't seen that, baby? Where's the nursery? Well, I don't want to get my hopes up. That's the problem. Do it today. The woman with the issue of blood didn't say, you know what? Someday, when God decides that it's finally my season, perhaps I shall be saved. She didn't say that. She said, if I could only just touch the hem of his garment. And she had to dig through, you know, go go underneath, incognito, and touch the hem of. I mean, touching the hem of his garment is is is down here. So she wasn't like, excuse me, excuse me, she was like down here. She was crawling. Because it was, it was, it, she would have been stoned. They they think that the the blood is it had to do with a sexually transmitted disease. And so if you were exposed to the masses with that problem, you could get stoned. But do you think she cared? She was like, no, this is my remedy, and he's here tonight. So why would I postpone my healing for something in the future when I can have access to it now? And you know what? God has given you access to all things pertaining to life and godliness. So if life and godliness are not activated in your life, why have not why haven't you accessed it? What is your position? What haven't you done? What haven't you said? What haven't you sown? Because it comes back to that. And I love that about our Christianity. It's not just like, we don't know why God does certain things. You know, we were in a in a cab in New York, and there was a a Muslim guy taking us through. And uh Jonathan just very kindly said, Hey, like you you pray how many times? You've been in this country for how long? Seven years. And he's like, and you pray the the whatever the Muslim prayer was. And he's like, How many times? And he said, Five? Like on five different occasions or three, I forget. Um, and he said, That's a lot. And he's like, Do you expect for Muhammad to do something for you? And he whipped his head back. And he said, You're a Christian, right? And he's like, Yeah. And he goes, We don't expect for Muhammad to do anything. Muhammad is sovereign and whatever he wants, he wants. Well, thank God that we don't serve Muhammad. Thank God that we don't serve a God that just does whatever he wants. We can go expecting God to move on our behalf. If he said it's readily available for us now, then we can access it right now. Isn't that wonderful? We can have that kind of expectation because God loves us and he sent his only son to die for us so that we might be whole, so that we might be healed, so that we might live above the natural realm. That's the whole point of Christianity. We weren't made to suffer the way everybody suffers. If you're going through the thick of it just like anybody else that's on medication, weed and tequila for breakfast. It's time to evaluate what we have to do. And that's why I love Christianity because God didn't just say, I'ma do it my way. If you are willing and obedient, I will give you what. I would that you would choose life, but you have the ability to choose death. But if you choose life, you and your and your descendants might live. They will live. So this isn't just a one one-stop shop. This is something that impacts the entire uh generations to come after us. Can you say hallelujah? She moved, she didn't say someday or eventually or one day when God is ready. Scriptures tell us today is the day of salvation. That's why this ministry isn't called revival. Revival tomorrow. Revival past revival. It's revival today. It's now, it's go, it's ask, it's seek, it's knock, it's speak, it's believe, it's obey. Those are the words that are found in scripture. And they all have you in mind. We have to be responsible for doing these things in our lives. Can you say amen, church? Turn to your neighbor and give them a high five. I'm almost done. Number five, you're not able to be corrected. Correction is persecution. No, it's not, Andy. No, it's not Nancy.

SPEAKER_01No, it's not Andy. Is there an Andy in here? No. Correction is persecution, and everyone who challenges me has to be against me. You hate me. And that's genuinely how I thought coming into this relationship. So if ever Jonathan was so kind enough to correct my English, I would be so mad. He's like, you are aware that when you said I'm gonna, I'm gonna lay prostate, that that's not the right word. And I was like, oh, you know everything. I legit said that in the mic. Everybody lay prostate. And they're like, I kept it going, I knew it was wrong, but I was like, do do do. But when somebody confronts your character, it's not that they're trying to attack you. It's not up to you to say, oh, they're just jealous. It's just because I'm anointed. It's just because they're threatened and they feel no, no, no. You've got to be able to take it. The Bible says he chastises, he chastises those he loves. So don't try to like slap a uh a weird religious kind of label to it. You know, if they catch you stealing or they catch you being dishonest, it's not the enemy's fighting against us. If somebody just quits, it's that you know what? God was removing them from us, and we don't know why. And we're not gonna be asked questions, just don't talk to that individual. No, I want to know why. Why are you leaving? If somebody's gonna confront you, oh, it's just because they're attacking me, they're not attacking you. It's not because they think, you know, that that that they're better than you are. So you have to understand the reality behind this. The Bible says in Proverbs 27, 6, can I see Proverbs 27, 6 in the Amplified? Because I don't have it here in the Amplified. It says, faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are lavish and deceitful. Faithful, let me see it in the New Living Translation. Faithful are the wounds of a friend. Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy. So what does that say? It's like when there's when there's problems, when there's friction, I expect for my team to tell me. If I'm out of alignment and what I'm saying is anti-Bible, you better come to me and and challenge that. Because that's the kind of culture that I want. I don't want yes men surrounding me. So that I when I when I come up today, I'm gonna come up with my own squish malo, my own line of squishies. Uh nope, you're not. You're gonna just continue to oh, you know, preach the gospel and raise up churches. See, if you start getting around people that are scared of you and all they want to do is coddle you and give you sympathy, and they're not willing to address certain issues that could genuinely help you, you're not gonna move forward. You've got to surround yourself. And this is for every person in here that's struggling with some kind of insecurity, because the moment somebody addresses certain things about, you know, whatever it is that that they're addressing, you immediately clam up, you tense up, you get offended, and you leave. I'd like to know how many people has have come to this church where something that the pastor was talking about offended them. And it wasn't, they knew my story, they were talking about me. And it was like, nope, no, they didn't. They actually had no idea. And so this is the reality. You've got to be able to to cultivate that and desire it. You know, I was at I was at a place where after COVID, a lot of crap happens, and there was a lot of uh bridges that were burned. We were a part of a church that completely labeled us as demonic and satanic. I know that because I have the email. I read it every now and again. Just kidding. I did read it when when Fauci, um, when Fauci got uh indicted. Because I was like, let me let me remind myself of what all we've been through. And they said, this ministry has been given a platform. And unfortunately, they're causing division and discord amongst the brethren, brethren. Well, who causes division and discord but Satan? So I was like, oh dang, okay. Not one call, not hey, let's talk this over, let's, let's, let's, let's make sure that we're we're in unity about this. It was just an immediate throw out. So I was like, okay, so this is somebody that was friends with my husband for decades before. They've known each other when they were in diapers, and all of a sudden you're just gonna throw this out to the masses without, you know, talking about it one time. So I was thinking to myself, hmm, okay. So people are fake. I don't ever want to have friends. Jesus, you're my friend. Sound familiar? Jesus is my husband, because men are dogs. You know what I'm saying? And we all we cultivate this kind of lie. And so I was like, you know, this was this was this is like, you know, kin of my kin. That was my people right there. And then I throw that email out and just throw us out, like discard us because we took a stand against the overreach of the government. Are you kidding me? All we it wasn't like we said, hey, these two pastors are complete idiots, and everybody run for what we said was we should gather for Easter service. And all of a sudden that was just too much. And you know what they they they made mention, they said, you know what, we have we have uh we have government relationships that we want to cultivate, and this just you know offsets that. I was like, oh, so your relationship with that mayor matters more than this godly covenant relationship. Is that what you're saying? Yeah. Okay, see you later. So then I was feeling all kinds of hurt. So I was like, no, I'm done with all of you guys. And I hate people. I will serve the Lord, but I just want you to know I think you guys all suck. And so I remember like going into like, you know, even friendships, being like a little trepidation. Like, I know, okay, we could we're cool, but you're probably gonna, you know, you're gonna stab me in the back. You're probably doing it right now, you know? So I just carried that kind of like hesitation and that like, you know, that narrative in my head. And so finally, I'm I'm we're we we start this club at church and we're running and and uh you know, we're we're kind of like rekindling friendships and stuff that we've had for many, many years. And I'm thinking to myself, like, you know what? Like, why am I not why is there there they're not like friends in my life that I can go to whenever blah blah blah. You know, like whenever I'm at I said, you know, I don't buy into the fact that ministry has to be lonely. I've I've heard that growing up my entire life. If you're a pastor, you gotta be lonely. I don't buy into that. Who said that? Where's that in scripture? In fact, the Bible says that we shouldn't be alone. It's not good for man to be alone. So I said, Lord, like if it's me, like help me out. And God's like, Yeah, it's you, yeah. And I was like, Well, I didn't think it was me. I was just kidding. And he's like, no, it's you because you have faith that they're gonna turn their back on you and say, we can have faith in something good and we can have faith in something bad. But either way, we're gonna see that faith that your expectation, the Bible says, isn't gonna be cut off. So if that's what you're expecting, surely that's what you're gonna get. And so I said, you know what? My job is to stay in faith and believe the word of God. And so if you do me wrong, that's on you. I can't help that. I can't, I can't, you know, make you love me, even though, like everybody does, it's just like natural. Um, but I can't make you love me. You know, I can't make you be loyal to me. I can't make you stay. That's something that you'll have to walk through. But my job is to believe the best in you. My job is to faith it out the way that God has created me to, so that I can see the return of investment on that, that I can see the blessing in having a right motive and a right mind and a right spirit. And so I started opening myself up to that. I said, you know what? Even though I've suffered a lot of backstabbing moments and and betrayal, Father, I'm not carrying this into every relationship. I wish them the best. But I know that in order for me to move forward in a healthy way, I've just got to continue to believe the best in people. And so that's what I did. And all of a sudden, you know, beautiful friendships started to pop up. And now I'm benefiting from it. But what is it? These people have a say in my life. These people can address things that maybe they were upset about, or maybe I'm doing wrong. Well, that that that's not okay. You know, I was I was talking to an individual and I said, Yeah, like Cam came up to me and she was all upset, and he's like, Never respond like that again. And I said, What? And he goes, Yeah, you don't want to push her away, you don't want to create that atmosphere where it's like you're inundated with all ministry things, and for her, you don't have the patience to sit it out and talk it out with her. And it convicted me. And I was like, Thank you for that. But only a friend would do that, would be able to say, Hey, that's not the right mindset, that's not the right mode to fix it, change it, and then you're gonna see a huge benefit from it. And I surely did. And now I'm reaping the benefit of it because faithful are the wounds of a friend. So a person who can't receive correction eventually gets trapped inside their own interpretation of reality. It's that narrative that people create that gets them stuck. Instead of saying maybe I need things to change, it becomes God is somehow testing me. Instead of it being I mishandled this relationship, it becomes God was separating people from me. Instead of it being decisions that that produce these consequences, it becomes I'm under attack. It has nothing to do with that, it is everything to do with your outlook and your alignment and what the word of God declares. Can you say hallelujah? So, what's our part? Our part is to look at the situation, and it's not to come up with a theory or like um, you know, whatever a theology. Does this sound spiritual? We should always be asking ourselves: does this what I'm seeing right now in my interpretation, does this agree with the scripture? Is it producing repentance? Is it producing obedience? Is it producing uh maturity? Is it producing lasting fruit? Because if it is, then I know that that it's good. But if somehow this is just pacifying the idleness of my life as something that's spiritual without any resolve or without any movement going forward, then now I've got to evaluate and see what my position is to play. Can you say hallelujah? See, and this is where repentance becomes so important. All you gotta do is repent. You could be living a life apart from God for 50 years, but all it takes is one moment in the presence of God to turn it all around. And what does it mean? It means I messed up. I repent, I'm sorry, I was wrong, I mishandled that situation. I need to apologize. I've had a lot of those moments. I need to have a different setup, different counsel, different people. I need to change direction, I need to obey what God has already told me. That's not defeat, that's the doorway to change. So you've got to be able to look at that. And the Bible says in Joel 2.25, it says, I will restore to you the years the locust has eaten. You don't need another 20 years to of you know poetic religious stuff to to to to to pacify or to explain the the the past 20 years of of of of stagnation. All you need is one moment in the presence of God. And you say, I'm sorry, I did this wrong. Father, I know that you can maximize my time, I know that you can redeem the years. Can you say hallelujah? The restoration begins when you stop defending the condition and you become willing to confront what is sustaining that mindset. Is it offense? Is it fear? Is it unbelief? Is it trauma? It's time to uproot that and identify what's really going on. Never ever create a doctrine to accommodate a condition that God gave you the power to change. I am the head and never the tail. I am above and never beneath. I am blessed coming in, I am blessed going out. You know, Camila had a hard time uh reading in in her in the infancy of her school years, first, second grade, and she felt like insecure about it. And so I could have said, you know what, they're just attacking you because you're part of the Shuttles Earth family. Because I've I've seen you reading, you're pretty good. You know, she can't read the No, I said, you know what, we're gonna work harder on this, and we're gonna we're gonna tackle this this this in a in a in a in a good way. And so I just started saying, but quit reciting what you see, because you're you're feeling some kind of of insecurity about it. You're feeling some kind of fear, right? So I said, from now on, that's when I started to kind of implement the declarations every morning. You're the head, never the tail, above, never beneath. You're the righteousness of God. But here's the one thing that I had her recite you have the mind of Christ. You can't be a loser, you can't be the least, you gotta be the best. And now she graduated this last school year with high honors because we believe in this. God, you've empowered us to become your sons and daughters, and so if you've empowered us to become your sons and daughters, there's a way of doing this thing right. I don't have to be defeated and in failure every single day of my life. Why are you still depressed? You know, it's it's it's interesting. I've suffered a lot of things that could make me depressed. The passing of my son back in 2019 was one of the hardest things that I have ever done. And on his birthday, it still makes me cry. But I can live with that. I can still understand that there's that moment that that hurts still, and I don't remove myself from it, but I'm also not gonna wallow in it and be defeated in it. I can do two things at once, I could be sad and victorious, I could feel the grief, but still understand I've got a resource of joy that's unending. See, you could be two things at one time, but the one doesn't have to completely define you. I'm anxious, I'm depressed, and you'll always be, and that's why it keeps stalling. Things don't go the way they should go because you've just counted it as as whatever it is. But I want you to know today there's a way out, and the way out it starts with you. Look at that mirror and say, you know what, there's something that I've got to do to make this thing better, and then there's a confidence in knowing that you're doing everything God has for you. Stay in your word, stay prayered up, stay spiritual, and there is a moment in your life where you can say, God, I am doing everything that I can to please you. I am smack dab in the center of the will of God. Do you know how beautiful it is to be in the smack dab center of the will of God? You sleep like a baby, you smile for no reason, you look crazy sometimes. There's peace, there's joy, there's prosperity, there's no fear of the future. This is you're living uh the abundant life that God had created for you. But I know that some of you don't know that, don't know what it's like to be smack dab in the center of the will of God, and I'm giving you an opportunity today to make a change.

SPEAKER_01Stop. Don't get me. No, we ain't going there. Why that one all of a sudden? It starts with you, it starts with that man in the mirror. I'm sure he got that from the Bible too, Michael. Wherever you are. So I want to give you that opportunity to you because if you've never made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life, today is the day of salvation. Quit pushing it back. This is the gateway to freedom, it's found through Jesus Christ. You will not experience true joy until you experience Jesus. You're not gonna experience the love of God, love in general, without encountering Jesus. Peace, fruitfulness, overwhelming joy. I mean, it is absolutely phenomenal. It's a fun ride. Whoever told you religion is a stale, you know, thing that that is is not fun, they they don't know how to do it right. Because this journey with my husband almost going on in September, uh, the 20, who cares? Uh 20 years. September 23rd, 20 years of ministry. I started when I was 15. Just kidding. So here's that. It's been a journey, it's been so stinking fun. There's no greater life to live than a life with Jesus. But if you want to get unstuck, if you want to this thing to work, then I need you to give your heart fully to Jesus and say, I'm not turning back. This is where it starts, and I'm gonna make sure that I'm gonna live my life for Jesus, that my family is gonna live their lives for Jesus. That's for me and my house, we're gonna serve the Lord together. And if that's you and you need to get saved, I want you to lift your hand up and say, Sister, that's me. I need to get saved right now. I need to give my heart to Jesus. Come on. I didn't want to do this. Yep, come in. Come in. Very good.

SPEAKER_01Who else? Because he's not the only one. I want you to know that Jesus is coming back very quickly. You need to be ready. He's not gonna wait around for you to get your act together. He needs you to be living ready. Pray this after me. Say, Heavenly Father, forgive me of my sin. I believe that Jesus is Lord and my Savior. He died on the cross, but rose again on that third day to break the power of sin and death over my life. I'm no longer afraid. I'm no longer a sinner. I am a child of God. In Jesus' name. I thank you, Father, for showing up on his behalf like he's never encountered it. May your presence dwell on the inside of him in a marked way from this moment forward. I thank you that everything he touches is blessed. I thank you that the next 120 days would be days of favor and unusual blessing because he surrendered his life to you. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus. Everything of fear and everything from the past cannot follow him any longer.
