Southern, Sanctified (with a Yankee Twist)
At one time, my faith in God was limited to only what I could do in the natural. I was broke, unhealthy, and no future to speak of. Now I am healthy, prosperous, and currently working on two businesses. How did all this happen? Faith!
But it didn't happen overnight. I fought faith with every step I took. That is, until my wife and her father stepped in.
I am from the slow moving, slow talking, slow everything south. My wife is from upstate New York where they don't even know what the word "slow" means. But she certainly know what "Faith in God" means. She started pushing me to believe things that were not in my tradition when it comes to the Bible. As I used the Bible to try to prove her wrong, all I did was prove that she was correct. We CAN be healthy, we CAN be prosperous. We CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Now I want to share what I learned to people who, like me (at one time) didn't believe. With the help of my wife, Tami, and her father, Mike, who is without a doubt, the backbone of faith of the family, I want to help others see that no matter what issue they are dealing with, no matter what mountain they have to climb, with God, all things are possible.

My father-in-law, Mike, is one of the most powerful and knowledgeable men of Faith I know personally. He lives, breaths and eats faith in God. Where I enjoy and study the individual puzzle pieces, he is the one that puts it all together. Today I asked him to help me explain faith to those who are stuck in the tradition (or curse) of proverty and/or sickness. Many people don't understand Faith only because they do not like the perceived arrogance of the preachers they see. We get tired of hearing a 30 minute sermon by a preacher who spends 20 minutes talking about himself or herself and how rich they are or how many jets they have. So let's take that part out. Let's talk about faith strictly from the Bible and personal testimonies. Today we will begin scratching the surface of all the Bible says about faith in God.
