Southern, Sanctified (with a Yankee Twist)
At one time, my faith in God was limited to only what I could do in the natural. I was broke, unhealthy, and no future to speak of. Now I am healthy, prosperous, and currently working on two businesses. How did all this happen? Faith!
But it didn't happen overnight. I fought faith with every step I took. That is, until my wife and her father stepped in.
I am from the slow moving, slow talking, slow everything south. My wife is from upstate New York where they don't even know what the word "slow" means. But she certainly know what "Faith in God" means. She started pushing me to believe things that were not in my tradition when it comes to the Bible. As I used the Bible to try to prove her wrong, all I did was prove that she was correct. We CAN be healthy, we CAN be prosperous. We CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Now I want to share what I learned to people who, like me (at one time) didn't believe. With the help of my wife, Tami, and her father, Mike, who is without a doubt, the backbone of faith of the family, I want to help others see that no matter what issue they are dealing with, no matter what mountain they have to climb, with God, all things are possible.

I've got the power!!! (And I'm not talking about the 1990 song.)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Sometimes we are stuck in the belief that there are the "have's" and the "have not's" and whichever category we are in, we are just stuck. That is what the world tell us.
But God tells us something different.
As Gods children, we have the power to make changes in our life. We don't have to be stuck in poverty or sickness. We don't have to be stuck in a bad job or be in a bad situation. If we put God first and remember him, we have limitless power to make changes for a better life.
We have been told we can change things through God many times through many different people. But for whatever reason, we just don't want to listen. I say, let's change that!
And if we're determined to not listen to others, let's do something outrageous...let's read the Bible and see what it says.
