Shaka Smart, former basketball player himself and now Men’s Basketball Coach at Marquette Univeristy. Smart claimed national coach of the year honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches, United States Basketball Writer’s Association and Associated Press because of his team’s success in 2022-23, He also claimed unanimous BIG EAST Coach of the Year accolades. Aside from his great achievments, Shaka's impact with his athletes set him apart as a stand out coach and mentor.
