The Ghost Club and The Society for Psychical Research were organisations that started in the same year 1882 in London. They were both created in a response to the great interest that British society had in the spirit world and the paranormal in the Victorian period. this podcast attempts to explain the differences in the organisations by giving some case histories examined by the clubs. Both organisations exist today but are much changed from their original form.
