Today's episode features Cheska Navarro, a Filipina-American composer based in Southern California. Her most notable scoring work includes the short film STILL QUEER, which premiered at the 2023 Outfest Fusion Film Festival in the TCL Chinese Theatre, the dance film SEEN, which won Best Original Composition at the Berlin Shorts Award Festival, and Andrew Acedo's short film Good Filipino Kids.
