Okay, I'm so excited to introduce my next guest on the ripple effect podcast, and I have Dr. Cari Jacobson, who is a holistic physician and chiropractor or, and both. And she is here with me today. Welcome to the little podcast. We get to chit chat and Yeah. Thanks for having me. I'm so psyched. I'm first of all, I'm so excited to connect with you. I know. I want to give some of the listeners a background. This is kind of funny, Cari and I have not met yet in person, but this is what's kind of cool about, the interwebs is that we have just, we know a lot of the same people we go to a lot of the same trainings, but we haven't yet. Landed at the same one at the same time and that's going to happen soon. Right. We're manifesting that shit. We are because the weavings are very like there. I like, you're like, I'm at CRA now. I'm like, I was just there five months ago. I'm at CW now. I was just there last year. Ah, yeah. Yeah. And then I will say that I love, love, love, love. The frequency, the you, the authenticity that you put out there on your social media, your Instagram, you, you tackle like the products. I thought that tampon one that you did recently was very important now. Like, wasn't it? You're real was talking about all the toxicity of the different, was that you know, that wasn't me. No. Was it? Was it? Was it? Was it? Yeah. Was it Abby? It might've been. Yeah. That would be an interesting thing for sure. Yeah. Okay. Well, but at least I got you guys at the same clinic because you have a clinic called be optimal. Yes. Holistic. What is it? Holistic. Holistic Health Center. And we're just from Chicago. It's in Skokie, Illinois. Yes, so please, listeners that are in the Schaumburg and Chicagoland region, you guys all have a brilliant physician in your corner. So, um, so yeah, I just wanted to have you on to learn about you, your story, like how did you get into this work? So, the story is this. I was a musical theater girl starting when I was six years old. Yeah. and I was going to be on Broadway. Like that was it. That was my dream. And then, I fell into doing event planning. So sophomore year of college, I was like, Oh my God, this isn't my passion anymore. Like, what do I do with myself? My mom's like, you should do leadership things. You're such a leader. I was like, thanks mom. Mom's at least mine. She was like my best cheerleader. So, um, yeah, so anyway, so I, I applied to do all these things. I ended up like running Indiana University Bloomington, for the largest programming body on campus called Union Board. And I did things like United We Jam, a concert for world peace around the Dalai, the Dalai Lama visiting, because his brother ran the Tibetan cultural center in Bloomington. And I was like, great, we need more uniting. Let's unite everyone. And So I feel like it's always been A gift of mine to one to see opportunity and bringing community together. That's such a passion of mine. And two is, I would say now, especially with the work that I do is really seeing people's light and their potential oftentimes before they're even able to see it themselves. And, And I love it. I love it so much. It could like move me to tears. Plus I'm super emotional. It's possible it's hormones, but I'm definitely emotional lately. I love you. This is why, this is why I love you so much. Like your energy. I feel like Dr. Charlie was like talking to me at, uh, at CRA and he's like, how do you not know Dr. Carey? You guys are like, so similar, like Yeah, I know everyone's like, you guys aren't best friends. How are you not best friends? I'm like, I know that we will be like, it's just a matter of time. Yeah. So, but I will say, so you're going back to like, I love that you said that, that you often see people's light and they're there before they even recognize it. Yeah. And I think so few people really don't even know what their passion is. And so, and I often say like, you know, it's really important to drink good quality water and it's really important to like eat really good quality food. But if you don't have purpose to get out of bed in the morning, like who gives a shit what water you're drinking? Like you can't get out of bed in the morning. Like you're not even, you're not cooking yourself. Healthy meals, right? So having a passion and purpose is like just as important as your water. And yeah, so anyway, long story short, I 180. Um, I kind of fell into teaching. Um, yoga and doing massage because nine 11 hit, I was doing event planning. it was super natural for me to like fall into event planning right out of college, I traveled for a year and then I, that's what I did. And then nine 11 hit. And after that, people were like, we're not spending money on throwing parties. Like no one wants to party. So, and I was really good at logistical planning. Like I found a knack to see the final vision and put all the pieces together to get there. Yeah. Which is sort of, I feel like what I do now as a doctor, um, like sort of what I call like leaving the tapestry with all the different modalities that I practice to really get us to that ultimate vision and goal of optimal health and wellness. Right. Which I love your name of your clinic, be optimal. Yes. Just be optimal. And the tag is becoming your best you, you know, and that it's really about that there's something for everybody. You know,, each person may find us by our foot detox person or like we used to teach belly dancing classes and, we teach muscle testing class. So maybe people come in for something like that. As a matter of fact, we're the only ones in the Midwest that have this thing called Theraphi. Oh, and it's like, it's basically you know what it, do you know what it is? So tell me what that is. I think I've seen pictures and I've been very curious about it. Yeah. So essentially, what it is, is it's a Tesla coil that sort of wrapped, hand wrapped around this, whatever. I don't even know. I'm cause I'm not that physicist y, but anyway, it's like a bolt of lightning that instead of going this way, it goes this way. And then it, it like does it wrap, does it wrap around your field, like your whole biofield or no? So it ignites, it ignites the noble gases that are inside these hand blown lamps. And it makes us beautiful, like reddish orange glow that then creates what's called a cold plasma field around the body. So what it's doing is it's feeding life giving energy to the body. It's. Based on the science of implosion, it cuts into hydrogen molecules that metabolize energy. And then the body's innate intelligence guides where that energy needs to go. And the people that read about the science and understand the science, because so few of us as humans get enough energy and our energy is from light, light energy. And so our energy will always go to living first. Not healing, but so many of us need to heal. So when we can get more energy, then we have more energy, not just for living, but also for the healing piece as well. And that's where really profound things happen when we can just up the ante on that. So Theraphi is super cool. People that understand it, they literally have people driving in from Wisconsin and Iowa and Michigan, like weekly. Isn't that cool? That is so cool. And talk to me because I just saw your cute, like picture of your whole team and you being the leader and cultivating a community like, talk to me about all that you offer. Like I know there's you and your zone of genius and what your gifts are, but you also have so many gifted practitioners that have their own divine gifts and are healing, you People. So what do you offer at besides that cool Tesla machine or the Thera? So it's such an evolutionary journey, Jen. Um, I, I graduated December of 06. I worked with Dr. Darren Weissman. Starting in April of seven, I moved cause I got my doctorate in California. I actually never thought I'd come back to Chicago. I was like, I love it here. I don't miss seasons. And then like everything guided me back. And I was like, no, but anyway, it's super been a blessing, but it's like, oh my God, I really didn't think I'd come back. Yeah. And then, I really had this vision of community to like bring community together. And I was like, Darren. So I worked with Dr. Darren Weisman. He created the lifeline technique and the lifeline uses the power of infinite love and gratitude, the power of love as a universal healing frequency. So where there's incongruency, love can actually harmonize and heal. It's so beautiful. And I can go so deep in, in, in. It's delicious. And actually anyone can learn the lifeline. and so there's moms that learn it so they can like be amazing with their kids. It's just so cool. So I worked with him and, you know, in retrospect, it's like, I knew that that's why it was called back. Cause he changed, he changed who I am based on the philosophy of the lifeline and just who he is and his patients and everything. Cause in the applied kinesiology world, I'm like, it's very masculine energy. It's a lot of ego. And he was so patient with my like, egoic bullshit. I knew you'd have that. Let me, you know, and he's like, okay, you know, let's just find out why I find me. I was like, okay, I'll I find you, you know, and then, and then in that I found magic of it. But anyways, that's how I met Randy Robirds and that opened like our community. So that's how like a lot of our friends actually know about CEW and the word got out from there. Um, but because Aaron and Randy used to present. at TBM is research. It was like a research thing for total body modification once upon a time. And I met him at the lifeline, seminar when I first moved back to Chicago. So that's sort of fun history. But anyway, so June of 2010, I opened Be Optimal and the vision was to have community and to create a place where there's something for everyone and where consciousness could Be honored and expand. And so literally we used to have like yoga, nidra, belly dancing. And I had a therapist and I had a massage therapist and it was me. And from there, it evolved to therapy didn't totally work because a lot of the work we do, as you know, with neuroemotional technique and actually the lifeline, it's working so diligently and brilliantly in subconscious emotional patterns. And there's just a different rhythm to therapy, which by the way, I'm all for like, right, right. You know, therapist on and off since I was six, like I'm for it. It helps people have more of awareness where they're at. Yeah. Like the energy, like the energy in motion. How do we move some of those hidden stress patterns, a hidden emotional patterns. Yeah. That's right. It's, it's like an, and both therapy can create the awareness and some of the modalities where you do. Yeah. That without it, sometimes people don't have a deep appreciation for how much, like I've had people come in and. Get a 30 minute lifeline, you know, and they're like, you literally just did a hundred therapy sessions in 30 minutes. Like what? There's, I know. Isn't that mind blowing? Like when they leave and they're like, what just happened? Yeah. Yeah. Like the appreciation of that would be lost on someone that didn't, hasn't like really put in the work. And at the same time, it doesn't matter. I mean, just the magic is magic and yeah. So cool. So where we land now is I currently have a Chinese medicine doc. I have two other chiropractic kinesiologists and a chiropractic intern who also practices frequency medicine, muscle testing, and potentially a student who graduates in December that will join our team, which is going to be awesome. Cool. Wow. Very excited about that. We have a foot detox lady. She's my crazy Italian foot detox lady. She's the bomb. She's a Reiki master. She was actually one of the assists for John of God of Brazil for a long time. Um, once upon a time when he was well respected, I don't know how he is now. Right, right, right. Yeah, there's some weird stuff around that, but nonetheless, it's magic work. And, um, you know, she's a very spiritual and very, um, she's just really awesome. So she does the foot detox. I have a reflexologist who's trained in a specific technique out of India. He's from India. It's super intense. It like will send you through the ceiling and then you're like, wow, I've like never felt better. Like he's big on, I heal ailments through your feet. Okay. So he does not. Um, this guy's like serious about his work. He's also a nurse. Um, and then speaking of I'm a nurse practitioner and the nurse practitioner does IV, nutrition, peptides, bioidentical hormones, prolotherapy, B12 injections, like things like that. So, yeah, so he's great. and I've got a cranial sacral guy out of here as well. Who's, Really, really good. Like he's been doing it for decades and he's, he's like one of the best of the best. And then the other thing that I'm like, super love doing, we don't do it as much anymore because we're so busy, but we love having guest healers. So like I have had Randy Robirds come and be a guest healer. I had this woman, Katarina Pellegrino was like the right hand of John of God of Brazil. And she came and we were like wall to wall. Um, and she would like touch people and they would fall to the ground. It's kind of crazy. and then John Newton. Are you familiar with John Newton? The ancestral healing stuff? Uh, well, I don't know. I feel like I might know his face. I don't. Yeah. No. I mean, he's super hot and great to look at because once upon a time, he was like Hollywood. He was like super boy. Like he would be so pissed if I was talking about he hates when people like recognize him from being on. Well yeah. Yeah. It's like I'm Melrose. It's he's like the star of like a Hallmark film. Unlike Christine, you know, Christine Cohn, Howie Cohn's wife. Oh yeah. Yeah. I do. Yeah. I do too. Okay. So Christine's obsessed with Hallmark movies. Okay. And I was like, I was like, Howie, Christine, you guys don't understand. Like you have to meet this guy. He's like amazing. He does this ancestral forgiveness work and it's really profound. Like the shit that we carry ancestrally is like so intense. So anyways, he lives at the time he lived in California. Now he lives in the mountains in Colorado, actually outside of Boulder. It's so good. Right? Wow. Wow. I feel like I feel like I need Um, well, we used to live closer to Boulder. We were in Frederick, but now we moved to the mountains that are closer to Colorado Springs. But I mean, I would like for healers, I will drive, I still drive to my craniosacral therapist two hours and whatever. Like you said, if you, if you find your, um, your unicorn magical, healer team and you don't care about the distance, that's, that's at least right. I believe so. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like people, right. People come here from all over. Like I, I'm flying to Vegas tomorrow to go get treated. Oh, you are. That's awesome. Look at you. I love that. Self care. That's so important. That's too funny because that downloaded even before getting on the podcast with you. I'm like, you know, I could just go and book a session or just do see all your magical people and just make it a healing retreat and see my mom who lives in Schaumburg. Like duh. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like, this is a hard yes, Jen. We have to do this. Exactly. We'll arrange it. We're going to arrange it. I didn't mean to derail you there, but that's just my brain goes all all. I'm all for having like 12 conversations at the same time. Newton. What's his, John Newton? John Newton. Anyway, he used to come here before he got super duper big. Now he's like so big, but, his work is incredible. And we would do like small group healings here and privates and stuff like that. And actually someone that's not far from you, Catherine Skaggs, she's out of Colorado. Yeah. So from someone that I met long ago and was like, Um, Catherine, you cannot not know like my community and opened her world up to the whole AK world, the whole, um, muscle testing world, the be optimal world. and someone had mentioned it and I just felt a calling and I called her up and I was like, I thought in my head, I have one time, one day that will work. And she goes, I only have one appointment and it's this day and this time. And it was exactly when I could go. And I was like, it's meant to be. And she does soul portraits. Yes. And she's a shaman and she teaches all these like shamanic things. So anyway, she's painting my thing. I'm not seeing it. And she's telling me about my higher self and all this stuff. And I'm like, I'm like falling. And, um, and anyway, and so then she turns it around, she tells me more, I cry more because it's so amazing. It's so beautiful. And it just felt like home, like there was something about it that just felt so delicious in my heart. And, yeah, so I was like, Katherine, you don't understand. Like, I'm no joke. Like when I decide, that's it, we're going. And she's like, okay. And I knew she didn't believe me. I was like, no, you don't know who I am. I'm crazy. If I think you're the bomb, like everyone needs to know that you're the bomb. That's just it. Um, you know, so yeah, totally. I love, I actually, I absolutely love that about you because I can tell you just are a mover and shaker and you make things happen and you believe anything is possible and you lead with love. And I love, I love, love, love, love that. Yeah. And, and I would say I'm like a master connector. I love connecting the people that I love with other people that I love that I think would. Just together would benefit. I'm, I'm such a believer of two heads are better than one and a community, you know, is better together in strength. And, um, one of the things that I'm super into right now, Jen, I've been exposed to this whole thing, this whole idea of restorative justice and restorative practices. And essentially what I have found, and I'm sure you see this too, like, I think it takes a fierceness. to be as vulnerable as it is to actually do the healing. And at the end of the day, there's no round. What we need to look at there's only through and it could just make so hard when we don't go through. Right. But we tend not humans. And what I found is more and more now than ever before, is how uncomfortable people are with the uncomfortable. Mm hmm. And We're in this cancel culture, and everyone's cancelling everyone because you have a difference of opinion than I do, or because your political views are different, or because, and it's like, who fucking cares, actually? Right, right. Like, who cares? Like, what if we could celebrate that? What, what if I could just get curious? About why you think what you think. Cause I have deep respect for you or I really want to know. I love you. So tell me more about why you feel as passionate as you do. It may or may not change my mind, but we're not sharing to change one another's mind. We're sharing. So we can get curious about how people tick, right? Like what moves us. Right. And I just was, yeah, I, I a hundred percent agree. And I just saw some quote about like, How beautiful our diversity is as humans, but we must not forget the oneness that is all of us. And I think that's beautiful. Like that. And I think in, in a culture right now, like you said, that that's very divided and everybody feels unsafe. Like we're only, we're only comfortable with people that think like us when really all the beauty is in the Meeting the people that I just did work on this with. Well, I just, I just worked on this at NET like I am okay. Attracting people that are different than me into my practice. Like I don't, you know, because that's that's where the growth happens for everyone. Totally. I mean, I had a practitioner who's like, yeah, we just weren't vibing. We and I was like, I don't vibe with more than half the people that I see right here. Meet them where they are because they chose me because they're on a journey and I'm so blessed that they chose me to guide them on this journey called health and wellness. Thank God. Thank God they found me and that I can just show up to love them regardless of their views being different from mine or their vibration being different and they wouldn't necessarily be my friend. I don't need to be friends with my patients. I need to honor them. Who instilled that in you or is that just something you were innately born with? It is. Yeah. Honestly, Jen, I'm such a lover. It's almost to a fault. My heart like hurts a lot because I just like, I open so fast and I'm also a no BS person. Like, I, yeah. Like, if there is an issue, I want to know what's up. I read energy for a living. Like I'm seeing what's up. Tell me what's up, bro. Tell me what's up. Like, where are you? Where are you at? Life's too short. I just want to know where you're at so we can honor and love each other and move on. And my family works that way. Like me, my mom and my sister was just the three of us for a long time. We are loud mouths. We are communicators. And if we have an issue, it's like, I don't like what you're wearing. I don't like what you just said. I don't like it at all. Why don't you like it? Okay. Whatever. Okay. Love you. Like, let's go out for lunch. You know, like it was, but that's good. Like getting it all out and not just like stuffing it and holding onto resentment and that, that, that, that, that, you know, it is taught. I believe it's taught. I believe it's values. I really think it's taught. And I think it's very hard for people to have any kind of like confrontational experience. So what this restorative practice thing is all about. Essentially, because so we're who I'm learning it from is bringing is was a social worker was in the schools working with special ed is specifically along with others and did for years and then found like where there were so many cracks in the system and was like, I have to make a change. So she started this coaching program and she's. believes that she and really wants to change the world from the top down from the school systems, meaning admin, teachers, social workers, so that the students can be shifted. But essentially what happens is like, for example, Jen, and you know, this probably in your work, it's like, if a kid gets suspended, hang on, I need to grab some water. Yeah, go for it. I'll grab mine too. Right. Let's do this. Let's do the water hydrate. I know. I'd like a dry spot. I'm like, I don't want to start coughing. if a kid get suspended, they buy into the label that they're a bad person when actually they just did a shitty thing. Okay. We all make mistakes. Absolutely. Correct. What if they could just face the mistake? What if they could learn the consequence of how it maybe made someone feel? How it impacted the function of whatever was happening in the classroom or at the school? And yes, there's like illegal activities and things, but still it's kids that are misdirected, misguided and make mistakes, right? Generally speaking, if they could have A restorative experience where they actually have to face the discomfort of what they like of the consequence of their action. Yes. Apologize. Get it. Right. Could they then know, we know you're a good person, but what you did was not okay. Here's why, here's what. And now they don't go on believing that they're a bad person where they then begin to meet the label of I'm a shitty person that is a problem maker. Their subconscious mind is scanning for those situations that just reinforce that they're bad or, or bad person. Even when a kid does something wrong and the, and the parent's like, you're grounded. Yeah. It was so crazy. Like we're doing these restorative practices and stuff. So I felt like, and my kid got sort of bullied by another kid to like, do the nerf, like a nerf thing in this other kid's face. So eventually he was like, no, no, no. And then eventually he did the nerf thing in the kid's face and the kid had heard him and he freaked out and the dad came out and freaked out and you got yelled at and he came home. So shameful. Like he was like, And she's like, what do you choose to do? He's like, I'd just rather be grounded. Okay. And that's, to me, is like the epitome of where we're at in our world, in our society. I'd rather just check out. I don't want to face it. It's too scary, too uncomfortable to be uncomfortable. And she said, well, that sounds good. The choice is you're going to face this by yourself or I'll go with you and we can face it together. Okay. Together. So they go over, they talk to the dad, the dad said, listen, this is really important that I create a safe place for all the kids. Cause they always come over and play at my house and they share about what happens. He apologized to the kid. The kid says it's okay. They kind of hug it out. Like all as well. Kid leaves so pleased with himself. So relieved. He now still gets to play over at that house. Everything's hunky dory, happy and peaceful. All it took was a little communication and a willingness for people to actually communicate the uncomfortable. And that's the beauty of these restorative practices. And I really feel like I'm meant to take it on a quantum level. I really want to start thinking about it because I'm finding it personally. Like I personally have been canceled by like a family member by a very, very dear friend by actually. My gym. Um, this is crazy. You wanna hear the story? Yeah. I mean, I feel like we all went, we know what that feels like. If you had strong convictions during the whole lockdown process. Oh, like I didn't, I God, my whole family, I lost. Yeah. I lost lot. My whole family lot. I'm sorry. 'cause it, it, it hurts. It hurts like, yeah. You know, I, I will say that. What happened for you? Well, um, well, we, we decided that we didn't want to, we didn't, we wanted to have a choice and we didn't want to take the, the, the COVID pokey. And that was a big deal breaker for people or even the masks. Um, you know, half of my, half of my husband's family really was not okay with, our choices. My family was more. more welcoming, but there was some, there was some conflict there, but we did stick, I will say that we stuck it out and we're, we're healing from all that. Right. Like, and although there's still some residual stuff on my husband's side, but then I also lost some friend groups because I wasn't wearing a mask. Somebody completely from junior high who I was pretty close with was like, Your grandmother killer. And like, cause I wasn't wearing my mask and she just like totally like, I went to her wedding, we were really close and it was like, she was just done with me. And to this day I'm like, Oh no, is she going to show up to like our 30th high school reunion? That's next year. And like, how is that going to be? And maybe like, if I take some of this training, like we could possibly get to a place of standing in the uncomfortable rather than. I'm healing and anxious avoidant attachment style, like where I would just check out or conflict just. It's so scary for me and I'm through, through the tools and the healing and my whole journey, I'm learning that there's so much beauty in the conflict resolution. And that's exactly it because it's, it can just be so easy and it doesn't have to pend up. And the other thing is that. Our brain will run with all the scenarios, and it may not even be right about any of those, but when things there, there is more conflict in the things that are not said, then in the things that are said, like, that is, that is so like that quote should be like, We should put it under you right now. There is. And I feel like if, if we avoid, then all there's room to do is assume and built in the buildup, what we tend to do, Jen. Is make it about ourself when nine and a half times out of 10, it doesn't even have to do with me. It's their stuff. And maybe I'm just holding up the mirror that, that makes them uncomfortable. I don't want to see. Yeah. But, I just had a conflict with a patient like that. Yeah. A miscommunication and, um, But I was like, wow, what a gift, because I stood with like, why I was so triggered and owned what I was releasing there. And it just, I was like, Oh, I get it now. I, I, I understand. And yeah, there's just going to be people that can do is just say like, You know, gosh, that's so interesting. You perceived XYZ that way. Like the only thing I meant by that was this and listen, they can believe or not believe like I move from truth. So I'm not there to blow smoke up anyone's ass. But like, there are times when patients will say something to me or that made me uncomfortable. Tell me more about that. Why did it make you uncomfortable? So that I can be free. You're using curiosity to like, dig deeper. Curiosity brings momentum and momentum allows us to move forward and really changes the essence of life. That's the whole thing with lifeline. It's like changes the essence of life. It's the only thing we can count on. Oh my gosh. So it's like just telling that we were just telling that to our kids. Like before we moved here, we're like, gosh, the only thing constant in life is change. And the more we can get, the more we can get, um, In the flow and in the trusting that like, how has this changed? And that was our reframe. How has this changed working for us? Right. And right. And getting curious. All the things, right. But so lifeline is all about that changes constant lifeline. There's like, there's like tenants to it kind of things. It's like, um, changes the only constant and no judgment is one of the rules. Um, I like that one. It's okay. That's okay. I get it. It's a frequency. It's a feeling, but what is incorporated in lifeline is everything from like, Apply kinesiology, NET type stuff, the five element theory, shamanic, EMDR, um, I love it. It's like, so you can like plug anything into this. And it's interesting because when he says, I have to say one more thing on that, go ahead. He says that everything's a portal. Oh, I like that. Well, I will say, Cari, that the reason I started seeking, uh, other modalities, other information is because I would attract patients where we would index for the original stress pattern, the original time that the stress, and it would be always preconception. And I'm like, well, any T doesn't really. And then I have to say, well, what is your emotional reality around? Like what happens before your soul comes into the body? And so then I started dabbling in like the metaphysics or the generational trauma or the like. beliefs, right? Generational beliefs and, and lineage stuff. So it's just kind of funny how you said that that kind of was like where any T ends is where this begins. Cause that's partially my journey of like seeking out other modalities because of what was showing up in my office or. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yeah, it's so true. And the genetic piece is huge. I mean, we get imprinted hard. The. there's a, practice that I do called quantum neuro reset therapy, and it's so cool because it's where we carry trauma in the different courtesies of the brain, wherever we carry trauma in our brain, it prevents the ability for the body to heal. Ah, yeah. So if you can tap into that area of the brain, and then the reset is that cortex of the brain, the cranial nerves associated, the hypothalamus. reflex points associated with the hypothalamus and the emotions associated with that all at the same time. Wow. So powerful. It's like powerful. It's literally the idea of neuro emotional, meaning that the emotions are literally held on your neurology, but if it is not dealt into specifically in the brain as the philosophy around QNRT, Um, where we carry it, the body will never fully heal. It won't allow it to because we're survival of the fittest, right? And I would, I was going to ask you, I noticed something. So I took a big step, you know, my, my training and background is speech language pathology. Um, yet I've kind of morphed into this. Like people are like, wait, you're not a chiropractor. I'm like, Oh no, I'm a speech therapist. They're like, how did you end up with these different things? I'm like, ah, it's a, it's a long story, but whatever, all the modalities that helped me heal. are what I'm like, what the God in the universe are like letting me do now, but I will say with like, um, I noticed about the, the supplements, if your body doesn't have the constitution to release the emotion or the trauma in the brain, I have found it just won't go there. So sometimes like for me, the supplementation, I was never even going to look there because I was scared. Oh, I'm a speech therapist. I don't need to know about any of that stuff. And like, My biggest shift is like, yes, you do, because the body is designed to survive and it won't go to the deeper subconscious or the neural, the neurology, unless it can release it or feel safe to release it. And it'll only guide what it's ready to handle in NET and QNRT, all of that. It's very linear. The brain's very linear. Yeah. But have you found this, which I thought, I don't know, maybe I'm the limbic resonance where you might feel safe in somebody's field to release something that would, I could be working on the same thing, whether like emotionally, like the same event, and I could go to another practitioner and they're going to see. I'm my body is going to be like, Oh, I can release this with this person. I don't know. Is that, is that crazy that I've felt like that happens or what is your take on that? No, I do. I mean, I'm very discerning about who I'll let work on me just because I'm so sensitive. Um, more so now than ever, just cause I've been in the work for so long. Um, so no, I mean, like if I have a student working on me, I'm super guard. I'm not, I'm not releasing. You're not feeling safe. Yeah. Yeah. Not, there's no way. Right. I love that. Cause I've been, I think I've leveled up because I've been like noticing, like people be like, let me workshop with you. And I'm like, uh, everything in my body is like, no, but maybe I just need to have better boundaries. So. Yeah. And I think it's like, you know what, not at this moment. Um, maybe later kind of thing. That's usually what I'll say. If like they're not a res, if they're not resonant with with me or I like that I, I'm not in that moment or I'm happy to work on you, but I'm good for right now. I like that. So I'll do that sometimes. Um, yeah, not everyone's your match to release for sure. You definitely need your, 'cause you, you have to feel safe. on all the levels. I think so. As when you're doing, when you're working with energy and obviously everything's energy. Yes. With QNRT, the brain's just linear and it's literally going to just open up what you're ready to do. And you're, it's only as you're only going to release as deep as, as like the practitioner is able to take you. But I would say that, um, like even the guy that teaches it, he goes, a crappy reset is better than no reset at all. You're still going to lose. Mountains, you know, he's like, you're still gonna like shift from it regardless. So I thought that's kind of cool. I like that. 'cause they also say, they also preach that at NET, which I'm gonna go back, I'm going to a basic tomorrow in Denver, but they're always like, there's no such thing as bad NET, like any amount of NET. Neuro emotional technique is good. Any, any amount of release or resolution is better than none. Right. It's like a little, maybe it's just a really thin layer, but it's there. Yeah, totally. Do you have a favorite? I mean, you you're such a unicorn, you do so many things. Do you just go in with the intention of whatever the highest good is? Yes, and I really pride myself on, I really feel very good at what I do, like at all the things that I do and I practice everything from, and I would say with every single one where I can get certified I tend to do, um, I was in the first certification CRA class. I know! You guys are in luck. And then I'm like, not even officially certified. I'm like, I go, John, what'd you do about that? Like, so anyway, I have to get back to it. But anyway, um, I might be a little something there, but that's okay. I'm just like, come on, man. I want to be certified. Right. But I, I will say like, I feel black belts, um, in CRA and I feel like from the black belt is when the true learning begins. So in no way do I feel like. I still feel like, even though I've been practicing for 18 years, I'm like, what do I really know? There's so much I could still learn. I love that, but that, but that care, but that, but that don't ever lose that, that curiosity and the humbleness to be like, well, it's like, the more you learn, the more we feel like we don't know there's so much more to learn, right. Or more to. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I'm definitely someone that gets bored easily. So this occupation is perfect for me because the minute I start to feel like complacent or bored with what I'm doing, it's like, great. I'll learn a new technique. It's time. We'll totally do it. But, I would say I practice everything from In terms of the emotional stuff, certified in lifeline technique, QNRT and NET some certified in those three, I practice total body modification and something called neural link, neural links. Really cool. It's sort of, um, it was created by a DO out of New Zealand and it's looks at how the brain, like connecting the brain with the brain, the brain, with the body and the body, with the brain. And sort of how those connections can kind of break. Um, and it resets circuits. It's a very cool. I use it almost every day, but I use bits and pieces that tend to be very common and come up. I use creative emotional wizardry and theta healing. I use the methylation work and the Lebowitz Protocol as well. So I've taken in the completeness of those. and then I do a lot of, I feel like I'm missing something, but, I, I do a lot of, the quantum work. So the idea of like, You can only fix what you can find. But if you can't find it, you can't fix it. So it's like opening the door to open another door to open another door to like find the balance and then reel it back out. I use a lot of flower essences. I use homeopathy. I do a lot of functional nutrition. I feel that's very foundational. Um, a lot of people that cannot integrate nutrition because they're too sensitive and they're such a bad place. I see a lot of very, very chronic, chronically ill, complicated cases late, especially lately. Well, and it will, you will. Let's delve into that. I only have a quick question about that because in my belief system, and maybe that's why we gel so much about the quantum, everything manifesting physically to me has a root in the quantum or the emotional realm or the deep seated, the subconscious. Um, so With that, like I didn't start to heal from supplementation until I started to peel back the like emotional trauma, the deep seated stuff. So like I was one of those cases that you would have been like, Okay, like, you know, and then once we address the emotions, my supplementation worked, I was less sensitive started to heal. So like with what when you're saying you're seeing these really chronic cases, is it are you doing more quantum work with them? Um, or is it just baby steps okay, I'm doing a mix and they change. It changes weekly. we're talking Epstein Barr Lyme chronic fatigue. mold toxicity, most of that is a mix and match of all. And I have like more than a handful of those right now. So every week I, I, I basically have to change supplementation if they even test for it. I do a lot of homeopathy because I feel energetic works better for that. But a lot of times the subconscious emotions are so profoundly deep. They don't even know that they don't know. And and I do believe absolutely Jen 99. 9 percent like people be like, yes, the emotional side of the triad. It's a third of it. I believe it's 99. 9 percent of it all. That's why that's why that's me too. I'm like, Oh my gosh. Yeah, there, there is. And usually what we find is like some form of abuse that was put away so hard. They don't remember or really deep ancestral stuff from generations. generational stuff, whatever it may be that we don't know. We don't know until we know it. Once we know it, we can do something about it, but it's really about finding it. And Dr. Tim Francis is one of my main, one of, one of my main mentors. He's my first hundred hours in applied kinesiology. It's the base of my work. It's foundational. And he always says, you know, you can fix what you can find, but if you can't find it, you can't fix it. I love, and he, he talks about us as being like, bringing it to the computer screen. So every time I find something vial, you know, different vials, um, energetic vials or, you know, any frequency, whatever, um, to bring it to the body, to bring it to the screen, if you will. And then when that list is complete and it's like, for example, if we're going to edit a document, you can't edit a document unless it's up on the screen. I like that. Then you find out what editing needs to take place or how do I fix this? How do I help balance this? How do I help bring this person to a greater state of health and healing? And. that's, then that just becomes the fun of it all, And so I menu, a lot of things menuing kind of originated with total body modification and a lot of people went from there, but, um, basically it's like muscle reflex, muscle testing pages, finding that's how, that's how I work now and like, it's just, and then like, what's cool is that, I'll work with other practitioners or they'll work on me. And it's like, Oh, I hadn't thought of it like that. Like it just like, I haven't thought to ask it that way. And it's just beautiful because like you said, the more investigative we get, the more open we are to like the curiosity. And I do think anything can cause anything, but also anything can heal anything. And correct. And it's kind of, it's kind of looking, yeah. So, well, I know we could talk and talk and talk. Like, I just, I love your wisdom is thank you. Thank you. I hope, hope so many people listen to this podcast and know about like, hello, Chicago shop, SHS folks. Like I have a lot of my friends that, you know, different things we're getting, we're going through hormonal changes, you know, we're late for it. He grew up in Schaumburg. Yes. You grew up in Schaumburg. We're a Schaumburg Saxons. Yes, the shamis, the shamis, right? Yes. I had a bat mitzvah in Schaumburg at Studebaker's. Do you remember that place? Yes, Studebaker's was like the only place we could go to like after the other bars closed. Like anyways, like, but that's hilarious to have a bar mitzvah there. Isn't that funny? I, my theme, are you ready? Yes, I'm so ready. A barn mitzvah. A barn mitzvah. And the lady that was doing the events there was dating a guy in the police. And he brought over two horses, like from the police department or whatever. With like straw hats and bandanas. And they got a frame that said I, I horsed around at Cari's barn mitzvah. Yeah. I mean, that's super religious, obviously. I mean, hello. I don't know. How is it? I'm like, anytime you had a horse that I'm there, I'm going, uh, that is so funny. All the things. Yeah. I love that. Oh my gosh. My invitations had cows on them and it said, let's party till the cows come home. We rolled them up and stuffed them in a tube with like barn animals and straw. So when people opened it, there was shit everywhere. So you've been to Woodfield mall, then I take it, right? Totally. Anyway, so I was like, but I was right there. No, I'm kidding. Well, I will say like everybody listening, please go, go, go, go. I try. I'm like, I'm always saying you guys know that you have some really amazing people at, and I always refer to your clinic. Here's what I can say is you mentioned the hormonal thing. It is such a thing in our age right now. And A lot of the women that I work with, which the majority of the people we, I see are women. And then eventually their husbands or boyfriends come into hysterical, but I see the women and children first, but, um, generally speaking, but, um, I will say I'm working a lot with like the perimenopause menopause postmenopausal women and just finding that balance. Like, we're not crazy that we can't sleep or that we're more anxious and we don't know where the anxiety comes from. And I tell you, there's so many people that come in. With anxiety issues that are on anxiety meds. And I'm like, dude, it's just your progesterone and we fix them and they don't have to take the meds anymore because it never was a real anxiety problem, problem. It was a hormonal imbalance and that's. Generally, there's a root cause to why our body's expressing with any symptom, but I will say that like, we're really big on education. I just want to say this before we head out, which is that we offer two free health classes every month because we really believe in giving back and educating and it's during dinner. So all it costs is your time. We provide dinner. Oh, wow. That's awesome. We serve a great big salad. We have chicken on the side, we have nuts and you know, all kinds of things. It's yummy. And. It gives people an opportunity to see, is this really the place for me? Do I align with it? Is it where I want to spend my time and money? Because frankly, like I don't want anyone wasting my time, but I don't want them wasting theirs either. It's mutual. It needs to be a full body. Yes. Mutually. And then we can move mountains together, but if not, it's okay. Find where you do mesh, you know? And I think there's something and someone for everyone. So I'm really for that. And in the meantime, let's celebrate each other's differences. Yeah. Yeah. Look at, you just brought this whole podcast. Oh my gosh. I just love you.
