Do your opinions really matter?

As we come closer and closer to election time the more, we hear from celebrities and athletes on their political stance. Should we value what they say, or should we acknowledge that while they are entitled to their own opinion the reality in which they live is not the same as the everyday citizen? All too often I hear who I should vote for from people who are only picking political affiliations solely on woke ideology and fantasized delusions of grandeur. Personally, I feel that if you are uneducated in the everyday life of a regular citizen you should keep your opinions to yourself. Stop pandering for votes that could potentially hurt US regular folk.
