Caring in America
We are the Podcast for Caregivers and the Care Recipient.
As Rosalynn Carter stated, There are only four kinds of people in the world — those that have been caregivers, those that are caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers.”
We introduce the Elder Care Experts, who provide their wisdom to educate about Care and all the components around it. Our goal is to make the Caregiver and the Care Recipient aware of as many Elder Care Resources as possible. We tell stories of Care in America. Stories of Love, Compassion, Frustration, Understanding and Patience in Elder Care.
Caring in America
Ep 28 Thanksgiving and Beyond, Understanding Care and its Costs, Caring in America
We are talking about a little word called "Care"!
Going home to see Mom, Dad and or Grandparents for Thanksgiving is great.
But--What if you see and or hear changes?
OK--What do you do?
And--Who do you call?
If you sense something is already happening to their health
Before you get in the car or board an airplane--talk with your siblings
If you are an only child, talk with a Senior Care Advisor and your Pastor, Rabbi etc.
If the health concerns are verified during the visit
When you get back home--talk with siblings and reach out to Mom, Dad etc.!
If you are an only child, reach out to a Senior Care Advisor and your Pastor, Rabbi etc.
Once you have some advice, reach out to Mom, Dad Etc.!
Folks, I know it is a bad four letter word, "Plan"!!!
It truly will make life a lot easier!!!!!!
When reaching out to Mom, Dad etc. Best way to start the conversation, Mom, Dad I need some advice. Your next line should be natural and honest.
