This show focuses on time, the lost and found things, and finding true purpose.

You're tuned into The Inquisitor. I'm your host, Dr. Tanya Renee Lee. On today's show, we're going to be talking about time and sometimes the lack thereof. Or really, do we really have enough time and just think that we're lacking in time? And also, we're going to focus on something that's lost and something that's found.
SPEAKER_00
And we can see that we might have enough time. And what we think we've lost, we may have gained something in return.
SPEAKER_01
First, I want to talk about not having enough time. How often we think throughout the course of the day that we don't have enough time to do everything we need to do. I found one thing that can help me to navigate through time is to have my desk, traditional desk calendar. Yes, I actually write everything down. I don't input it into my phone or computer. I actually write it pen and paper. I have a regular traditional calendar. And I find that works for me and it helps keep me on track. And when I do that, I have plenty of time to get all my tasks done. It helps me to stay organized. I want to read a poem now that I wrote called Not Enough Time. There's not enough time. I have to work all day, cook when I get home, wash the dishes, and then pacify my men. By morning, I'm thinking here I go with this same routine again. And I wonder, and I wonder. And then I hear other folks complaining about time being scarce. I hear the news reporters rapping about stress control, gridlock, single parenting, divorce rates going up, and needless car accidents, often resulting in death. Then I started thinking, if God shortened the length of the days, would it matter? I doubt it. Someone would still say, There's just never enough time. And don't we say that? Aren't we all guilty of that? We always say if we just had more time. Some go to their graves saying that. And friends, we have enough time, sufficient time to do what God has appointed us to do. If we would just use that time wisely, we will get through and accomplish everything that He intends according to His purpose.
SPEAKER_00
And now we're going to talk about lost things.
SPEAKER_01
You know, I was very upset when my mother's wedding ring came up missing before she passed. She had Alzheimer's, and of course she didn't know what happened to it. And I've always wondered what happened to it and wished I could have it, being her only daughter. She has two daughter-in-laws, but I'm her only daughter by birth. And I dropped on that for a while, and sometimes you have to let things go because what is lost or you think is lost can actually be found in the meaning of memories that I have of my mother that can never be taken away from me. That ring is lost and probably gone forever, but her memories are forever embedded in my mind. The way she taught me how to always be polite to other people and to always thank people, even if it was just a piece of candy to say thank you. And so everything she instilled in me, guess what? I still have, and no one can take that away. So what was lost may not really be lost, because I found the true jewel in my memories of my mother, and those will last a lifetime. And now I'm gonna talk about something that happened to me a few weeks ago. I was in a bad automobile accident on March 12th, to be exact, 2025. I was rear-ended, and I wasn't in a hurry. I had to merge because of construction going on, and so I merged, and then we were stopped, and then the light turned green, and I started to go again, and I saw someone trying to get over, and I was gonna let them over, and then I was hit from behind. And so it's just interesting as to eyewitnesses, everybody saw something different, and isn't that the way it is in life? We all see things differently, and if we but if we could learn to appreciate those differences, wouldn't it be better? I see people on different spectrums politically that just can't get along. And in the words of an old familiar voice from Los Angeles, he's not my hero, but he once asked Rodney King, can't we all just get along? It would be a better world, friends, if we could all get along.
SPEAKER_00
Because we are in a hurry. Where are we in a hurry to get? Who is in your way? And why do you perceive that they are in your way?
SPEAKER_01
Maybe that might be someone that you might meet down the road, that you might strike up and have a good friendship with friends. And so I want to read to you and do a public service announcement at the same time with my poem What's the Hurry? Stopping on the dime, on the edge all the time, hit from behind, rushing to find, crashed on the side, not taking the time, causes the accident every time, damages, injuries, death, lawsuits, why? It's the guy behind the wheel you'll find in a hurry to get nowhere most of the time. What's the hurry? Enjoy life. Take the time. It will avoid the accident most of the time, and needless headaches you'll find. I hope that this show has been a blessing to you, and I hope when you get on the road next time that you will travel safely and not be in a hurry to get nowhere. You will get there, friends, and if you speed and have an accident or get a ticket, guess what? You're gonna be later than you would have been if you would have just taken your time.
SPEAKER_00
Remember, what's the hurry? And now a word from our sponsor.
