On Forgiving

The act of forgiveness is explored.

You tuned in to the Inquisitor on today's show. We're talking about forgiveness. I'm your host, Dr. Tanya Renee Lee. On the subject of forgiveness, it is hard sometimes, especially when we encounter the same acts over and over again. But Yeshua, also known as Jesus, calls us to forgive and to forgive again and again and again as he also forgave. In my book, Live Inspirate Not Bound, I talk about forgiveness and embracing life to the fullest. And in forgiving, we are forgiven. For we need forgiveness too for our sins. So we should not withhold forgiving others because we too have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Forgiveness regarding my own spiritual awareness, spiritual conviction, and spiritual path is important to the extent that it enables the release in my mind, body, and spirit of negative thoughts, negative energy, potential health problems, the bondage of inner turmoil and sin, and physical and mental bonds of hatred. I, like others, have found that forgiveness is a hard task and does not always happen instantly. Unfortunately, in our fast-paced world, most expect forgiveness like everything else. Now, and sometimes it may take years, friends. So we need to be aware that it may not happen overnight. I know that within my own family, sometimes I wanted things to happen faster, but it happens at God's timing and not our timing. Even with old friends and sorority sisters. I've wanted it to happen in my time. But it has to happen at God's time. I recently heard from one and uh person in my life, and I thought they would never forgive me because they felt like I didn't do what they wanted me to do at the time, and I thought it was wrong. And you know, recently they told me, I love you. And so I guess they had to respect me, even though they may not have liked my decision at that time. And so, friends, sometimes we have to wait on the Lord. Wait, wait, I say wait on the Lord, and forgiveness will come. Forgive others as you want to be forgiven, is my plea for you today, and my hope and desire for you today. God bless you and keep you, is my prayer. And now word for my sponsor.
