Hello, you're tuned in to The Inquisitor. On today's show, I'm going to be reciting some poetry from my new book that is now available on Lulu.com called Comforting Thoughts by Dr. Tanya Renee Lee. The first poem I'd like to share with you is entitled What will it be? The world in which we live is constantly shifting from one paradigm to another. Wish we could live as sisters and brothers. Another shift seems imminent. In the meantime, our lives are in danger. Will there be flight or fight? Who will be left in sight? Will the course be right? After all the Roman Empire fail. We seem to be falling as well. Will we make it through without falling? Is God calling? Will God keep America from falling into the abyss? It's something we should pray we miss. Capitalism or socialism? Which will it be for me? I choose capitalism because I am free. The opportunity is there. The rest is up to you and me. And I want to share another poem with you, and it is called Resolution. And I try to live by it every day, even when I am weary and torn. Resolution. Be it resolved that I will be happy today. I will not allow myself to be unhappy today. There are those suffering every day, and happiness is a dream, or so it seems. I will thank God for life and strive to help others achieve their dreams. Be it resolved that I will not think of what cannot be, but I will think of what can be done. Be it resolved that I would lift those in my life instead of throwing obstacles in their way. Be it resolved that I would find, refine, and fulfill my God given purpose. Be it resolved that I will not judge but will keep but will help the hurting. Be it resolved that I will give thanks to God for the good times and the challenges of life. It is in a challenging period that we grow and become closer to our destiny. Be it resolved I would cherish the memories of family and friends with God now, and thank God for the time He allowed me to have them rather than complain. Be it resolved I will remain positive and eliminate toxic thoughts in people. Be it resolved, I will choose to live my life in positivity, starting today. Amen. I hope these words have been a blessing to you, and I hope that you will go out and purchase Comforting Thoughts by Dr. Tanya Renee Lee. Available now on lulu.com and it will be available on other platforms soon. Thank you for tuning in today. God bless you and keep you, is my prayer.
