16. The Wedding Singer
Happy month of loveeeeeee and happy Valentine's Day to all you out there! Henry and Lucas from Socks and Sandlers hope you spent the day with the person you love, or loving yourself and just looking after number 1 (that's you).
The fellas chat about one of the most well-known, love charged films that Adam Sandler has ever been apart of, The Wedding Singer! A 1998 classic that has a wedding singer, Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler) and waitress, Julia (Drew Barrymore) fall for each other at inopportune times, with them both being engaged to someone else at the start of the film. After being left at the alter, Robbie tries to get his life back on track while dealing with the fact that this waitress he has fallen for is still getting married to some jerk off.
Like always, the Sandman is joined by some of the best in the biz, such as Christine Taylor, Matthew Glave, and Ellen Albertini Dow... with a special guest appearance near the end of the film, Billy Idol as... Billy Idol.
