He is always in the flow. He belongs to that kind of flow state battle form. Son of Poseidon, the perks run deeper than just, you know, trapped within liquidity.

Yeah, exactly. So dying to be able to sum. Or it's like maybe the stirring has now summoned a combination of these things.

Right, and he's somehow gotten them Neemian line to hunt the hunters. Somehow. I wonder if this is the beast that uh Artemis is tracking.

Yeah, so like you're saying earlier, we end off the other chapter with Percy in the um Museum of Natural History, I think. And he sees the general pretty much awakening this undead army with dragon teeth.

Yeah, with the dragon teeth, the camouflage, and then uh zombie men.

Yeah, and then he's about to get them to he's giving them like a handkerchief from the hunters so that they can smell it and now be like tracking the hunters. And as it's falling, Percy nabs it and takes off, but as he's taking off, they rip off a piece of his shirt and sniff it. And so now this zombie arm army is like programmed to hunt Percy.

So Percy's in a pickle as he's coming out of this.

Because he's gonna now, like, you know, he's of course trying to get to his friends to protect them, and then he's also at the same time gotta make sure that this now newly formed zombie army doesn't kill both him and his friends.

At the very least, he's I'm sure he's okay with it killing him as long as it doesn't kill his friends.

Yeah, and classic purse. Yeah, classic purse. He's so devoted to his friends. And that does make me wonder like if you know the hunt hunters, the crew is around Percy, would the skeletons attack them just as proxy?

And he's just running, pretty much trying to get to Thalia Grover and Zoe and all of them link up and get them out of the bottom's away.

Because he's got to tell somebody about this, because it did reveal that he was talking about that pet. A little surprise he's got for Thalia and the whole crew. So he at least needs to warn them he'll deal with his skeletal crew in their time.

Now up close and personal, it is a lot bigger. And Thalia straight drops it like the name. And it kind of is like, it doesn't mention it, but it's like Annabeth's usually the one that names them.

So but then yeah, we get right into it. So pretty much Zoe's like setting up the battle plan, like separate on my mock. Yes, you know, keep it distracted. She's gonna think of a way to kill it. So boom. Yeah, they split, riptide is out, arrows are going everywhere, Govers playing like a crazy tune. Um Zoe and Bianca going up a capsule, they're shooting things, of course. Nothing's getting in, yeah. Line is going to be. Seems like Aegis does have effect on the line, because Thalia comes in with Aegis and he roars, but he does recoil.

Yeah, um, and retreats. He's kind of a little bit like Yeah.

And so, but then he crouches, he's about to pounce. Um and oh yeah, because it looks like he's about to go for the girls, maybe.

Yeah. Oh Percy can kind of see him recoiling, but then he's positioning like a cat loves to, you know, get in that yeah, so he knows it's about to pop, and that's when he just does what Percy does.

Of course, doesn't do anything, just clanks off the fur. Yeah. And then Percy gets scratched. A chunk of his coat. And so then, oh yeah, back to the railing sweet jumps, because they're up kind of like in the top areas, I believe.

Yeah, they're kind of in those higher balconies. And it seems like, I mean, I've never like we've never been a Schmehmillion, but I wonder if there's balconies that kind of look at these hanging structures.

Yes, and then in some of the big open areas they've got, yeah, the hanging structures and such exactly.

And from the balcony, it's almost like you're looking at it straight over, maybe higher levels. So the lines come into the higher levels.

Yeah. So they jump, he lands on the wing of an airplane that's hanging.

Yeah. Because I guess the monsters come and Neemian pounces at Percy. Yeah. Percy's just like ripple dipple.

Yeah. Lands on this plane, arrows are flying past. The line jumps onto the plane, they're going ratatouille. Um straight up. Because it's just like, dude, yeah, back and forth.

It's straight because they're almost like jumping and swinging on these huge structures, just zing, kating. Yeah.

But this is where Percy gets the idea because the lion roars and he sees like the tongue, and he's like, Oh, that seems to be like, you know, a fleshy part.

Yeah, there is a little bit of flesh. It's not golden glittering fur.

Exactly. That's a thumb. So he hollers out to the girls to target the mouth. Um, because he's trying to get in. He's yeah, the lion is way too quick. So now everyone's aiming at the mouth. Lions lunging at him, choom choo. He slides down.

Oh, he gets jumps off the spaceship onto a model of the earth, slides down the earth, drops to the ground, looks like because he sees the maw, and then he gets the idea of like, I've snapped there's something that I can maybe use, and it's in the gift shop. That's right. That's right. And that's when he's kind of like piecing out, and he's like, You guys just chill. He tells him about the maw, but there's not really any clear shot. And that's when he runs off, Zoe's kind of nining him a little bit, you know, like, this is not a time for souvenirs, boy. Right. But he just uh he mobs in there. It looks like they're kind of trying to hold it down. Right. What uh Dahlia shoots off that dope electric bolt.

That kind of like keeps him at bay, but yeah, at least zaps the line, which is cool.

So, but he pretty much just mobs into the souvenir shop. We don't know exactly what he's looking for. Yeah. He's kind of going through some t-shirts, and then he sees just what does it say, silver packets.

Grabs them. Everyone's still out, just kind of pelting this monster, trying to aim at its mouth. But it's like the monster knows, like, they're trying to aim for his weak points because it even says like it's squinting its eyes. And it's like just like getting his mouth closed, just like and just keeps slashing, and uh so Thali is going toe-to-toe with it.

Um but she's straight up saying by the time Percy gets out, like, yo, whatever you're gonna do, you gotta do it.

Because we're kind of pressed in the foreign.

And that's just then she gets smacked. Looks like she gets knocked out. She gets hit into the rocket, falls to the floor.

Rip tad, throwing knife. Um and again, doesn't do anything, but it at least gets its attention. Yep. And that's when he starts checking this. He starts with the first, it's uh one of those freeze-dried like space food pouches, basically, is what he's got.

Are you supposed to be able to eat that just raw kind of a thing? Um, I think I've never eaten that stuff before.

Yeah, I think you can, of course, eat it raw. Um, and it's got like a crunchy, like almost styrofoamy texture. I mean, it's still delicious, um, but it's like dehydrated. But then I think you can rehydrate it for like some of the meal ones. Yeah. Of course, you put like hot water and it'll just like you got a bag of spaghetti.

And uh the line's kind of now like roaring a little bit. Yeah, he's a initial opportunity.

Yeah. Okay. Of course. I mean, he's just it's person. It's person. And uh yeah, he's very Magoo about it all. Yeah. And yeah, he throws a couple more in there. Ice cream, freeze-ried spaghetti, and then yeah, it is now really gagging and trying to cough it up.

Wide open. Yeah, it's like sitting back, and yeah, they just unleash on this thing, uh, hit it all up in the mouth with arrows. Yeah.

And it looks like it does the trick. Yep. The it pierces the maw, the line twitches, and still, baby. So then what the alarm's going off and everyone's still kind of going crazy. Now it kind of snaps back to reality of like people losing their rippled dipples in the Smithsonian.

Exactly. But it seems like if they're slain, they generally leave some kind of trophy, like the minotaur horn. I guess if you cut off the horn, then it stays. So similarly, I guess the Nemian line, because of its fur, the spoil is the fur, because now it's just this glittery glittery like lion fur that's on the ground.

This is the fur that's left. Cause I wonder if it's like there's like certain rankings amongst monsters. Yeah, exactly. Because not every monster leaves a trophy. Right. Like if you slay a harpy.

So certain levels of things. But sure enough, this Nemien is a serious monster. Because this was that beast that, like, oh forgotten Artemis herself was trying to track this beast.

So yeah, but then Zoe, you know, tells Percy to take it. Yeah, which is kind of cool. Yeah, cool and surprising, and she's like, Yeah, Percy's like, uh, you know, is that an animal rights violation?
