Things get anatomically diverse over at triple G as Percy finds another deep perk and then comes to give old triple torso a run for his bun.

That was interesting. And I mean, I had a good feeling Percy was gonna be able to pull it off one way or the other, but it was interesting to see how he did it. And was it just earlier? I think it's maybe in some past lore where it talks about um how the city of Athens was named after Athena, but it was like Athena and Poseidon with Tawda though. Athena made the olive tree. Poseidon produced a saltwater spring.

Percy's kind of sizing it up. He's remembering this like Hercules. Yes. This is some old lore. Old lore. I don't remember that story, but apparently Hercules had cleaned some stables by diverting a river.

And uh that's a lot of work. He tries to scoop a little bit of poop. He's like, This is not gonna work either. Right. So it's gotta be the water, the river. So he goes down to the river to kind of just check out the vibration a little bit.

And it's interesting to think this is like the first time he's seen a naiad actually out of the water.

Yes, and it seems like also the first time that he's maybe even spoken verbally like English to a naiad. Because now, because he's like, wait, you speak English and you're out of the water? Because I guess prior, they're usually like, are they telepathically communicating with him since he's a uh I don't know if it's a telepathic as much as just like a nonverbal flirtation, like you know how it talks about them just kind of waving cutely from the bottom of the lake. But he did have some Niads that had like communicated with him. Because wasn't the one when he jumped off of the arch into the Mississippi? Wasn't there a Nayad that he had met down there that like you know what?

She's kind of like looking angry, but Percy's picking up on this, like quiver in her voice. Yeah, this quiver. This little bit of a quiver to where maybe she's afraid, and it's like, you know, I don't want to fight this lady. It's that's not Percy's nine, he's not a villain.

Yeah, and that's probably what she's used to is like, oh, some god or demigod is here, and now I gotta fight them for my territory. I'm gonna lose, but I still gotta put up a fight. And he's like, I don't want to be that guy.

And sees that there's like these little seashells. Yes. Micro prehistoric seashells from apparently the times of Gaia and Ornos. Yeah, that's old world seashells. Old world seashells. And it's like, okay, there's little tiny urchins, little things, but Percy's still kind of like, well, what does this do for me?

He's kind of just felt like a little frustrated, and he just hucks the dirt into the or he hucks the shell because he had the one shell in his palm.

And then that's when we start to hear like the start to see a little bit. So crazy. So cool.

Which I guess essentially that's what the Naid was alluding to is like, oh, it's uh if it's of the sea, even if it's away from the sea, the sea is still within it. So you, as the son of Poseidon, call forth the sea from any sea object. New power unlocked. Yeah, exactly. New Percy perk unlocked. Oh my gosh, what we should do that for our final debrief on this one. Is like we should start a running list of all the Percy perks.

And it hits one of the horses, and it's the horse that says like salty, and that's kind of when it clicks. Like, oh gosh, I am connected straight to the sea.

So then he keeps just like chucking these shells into the poop, and they keep like setting up these springs, starts washing them. The horses hate this. They're like, meat's good, bats are bad, what are you doing, dog?

Yeah. You can see that like the salt water is kind of like dissolving the poop and returning it to the ground.

It's not really like pooling and running like water normally would, as much as just like, yeah, exactly. You said just like dissolving it and just like melting it into the ground. It's pretty cool.

Yeah. This is some the cleaning powers of salt water, and I mean salt water. Yeah. The times we've uh used salt water to clean some waste before. Yeah, got that for you. Let it pull. So he just says more and then geysers everywhere. It's like uh car wash almost just sprouting. It's like the Bellagio. And mountains of poop just melting like ice. You can feel this kind of tugging sensation.

Yeah, that's interesting. Because then there's like the he pretty much cleans it all. The horses hate this, whatever, but he's got it all clean, and now he's trying to stop it. And then that's when it's like this pain, like this tugging sensation, it's like a pain in his gut. Yeah. Gets worse, and it's almost like he can't stop it, it seems like.

Classic monster style. Monsters be monsters.

So we get everyone untied. Euristian just tilling, doesn't try to stop him. Um stokes up the barbecue, offers a little offering to Artemis and Apala.

And then this nine of like, oh, you've died from before, and he's talking about how, like, yeah, yeah, I've served him for like a thousand years. He was a half-blood. So it's essentially like a purse situation where he was offered immortality by his father, right? By Ares. And he chose it, and because of that, now he became enslaved to Garyon and has to just live out his days serving Garyon, and he can't do anything about it.
