International talking about engineering here never time and the one the only I injured. How you been, man? Good to see you, man. How you been?
SPEAKER_01You be on the queen. What's up? How you doing? How are you doing?
SPEAKER_02How you been, brother?
SPEAKER_01It's good. Life is great, you know?
SPEAKER_02I see you have a lot a lot of our moments going on right now.
SPEAKER_01All about the place. You know, we go already. Yeah. Yeah, man. You know, we go already.
SPEAKER_02So I see you have a song on the uh YFL. How's that going for you?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, going doing good. It went um number one on the regular iTunes chart. You know what I mean? And DJ Mark put it out on the compilation, and a lot of people like it. Even though my voice and the rhythm in the latter part of the rhythm, but you know what I mean? Work or good. I'm a performing people know it. Yeah, it's good. The video do already big up bling blang, you know what I mean? So, yeah, we are we are working.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, for you being on the rhythm is good. I think I think it made sense for you to be in the rhythm because even though it was put up by like not your generation, but the you them, because you know you're not really in that generation. Yeah, my respect. And and and uh and I think that that's the acting I need to hear. Not saying I'm not hearing that acting, but it's that's the acting that I know.
SPEAKER_01The reason why a lot of people wasn't hearing that type of eye acting for a period of time is because for a period of time over the last six, seven, eight years, I've been producing my own music. I work with a few producers, my main producer like Good Good Production, Sean is a um Chitan, and I had a few, but some of the main producers that I used to work with, you know, is like the relationship kind of you know go different journey. You have a problem, but people start to go different places. And I am not one of those artists who me and do five years together and we have some some great hits. Seeing because a lot of artists, a bad workman always blame them too. So not because when when me I run the place as you know, people consider me say, alright, know it. And give you some songs, and you become one of the prominent producers. But artists need to understand, bro, you're making money, bro. Invest in yourself. Yeah, yeah. I am not rich like you guys because I I invest in myself. I only home myself, I signed to my company. I've never yet signed to no record company, I've never signed to no major company. And majority of the time I'm outwork the major companies. You understand what I'm saying? So if you work with a major district like a collaboration, like a collaboration in life to work with one of these major companies, it became and what that what that does or do for me is is understand the business side of it. I mean, you can't go in the market, you can step in a jewelry store and buy a chain for 60,000, 70,000. Why you won't spend that on your own career? Yeah, why you won't learn the produce?
SPEAKER_04Was that was that deliberate, not working with a major label or a major and what would you be able to do?
SPEAKER_01It wasn't because say, for instance, I make a million US, I would spend back like 700,000 for my brand. And if you now come spend more than that, what what is the sense? Like really and truly.
SPEAKER_04Do you think it's smart for artists to work with major labels, or do you think it's better to be independent?
SPEAKER_01It's good, it's good to work in major labels, but work with a plan.
SPEAKER_02You know what I mean? Yeah, I was about to actually have the same thing because I don't I don't I don't think telling everyone to just work only independent, that's rough. Yeah, only you still need a collab, some kind of collab.
SPEAKER_01Yes, only for a project. Yes. So what so so when you have that movement and you have a plan, then you can merge both plans together. But when you just have the movement say you don't have no idea, then I am I am gonna direct you in my perspective how I think you should be our goal. Yeah, but don't necessarily that might not be the right journey for you, but when you have this plan, then you can say, All right, you what? I want to I want to do a distribution deal, or I want to do a 360 deal, or I want you know what I mean, you have a you have a better plan.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I feel like we've seen that in history with dance hall artists. Like we've had dance hall artists in the past who have signed to major labels, and then we hear a different sound from them and they lose the fan base, or you know, and so and then and then where what a man don't know cannot be held against him.
SPEAKER_01A lot of dance hall artists did inexperience when it comes to knowledge because knowledge is very imperative about the business. You see, alright, reggae music and dance hall music is is is is is all right. Break it down in a layman terms. If you if if you want to be an accountant, you have to go to school for it. You have to have the qualification, you have to, you know, have master's, bachelor, one, two, and three. If you want a driver's license, you have to do the test, you have to prepare for it. If you want to become a doctor, you I can work on a work site like mixing concrete lifting black and just come up with a melody and I become the number one dancer artist with with with no experience. I don't have a I don't know how I don't know if it be on time. Yeah, don't point to well with time. I don't know if we do an interview. So when when the interview, when if you when the interviewer is asking the question, you have to ask the question and answer it back because I have no knowledge about these things. So I learn along the way, and this business don't don't forgive you for your mistakes. So a lot of artists make those mistakes in the initial stage of their career. So when you put these individuals, less less experience or less knowledge in this on this big platform without the knowledge, they will fail. They will fail, and Republicans say, Oh, we get the opportunity and he blew it, he gets the opportunity because remember a lot of artists don't know how to promote themselves. So if you don't know if you promote yourself, because remember you know, Nori just sing a song and the song becomes the number one song because TikTok and all these things, you know, exist. So it becomes the number one song. Nori don't know something for calling Nori. And say, Nori, you need two jingles or come do some promotional show or drive, come do some interview. I don't know, nothing of this. So, and then what happened now? My little friend them around me did exist when I'm creating the song.
SPEAKER_02So I think they will become management and all these things.
SPEAKER_01So me inexperience, my manager inexperienced because my loyalty, my life, you understand? And emotion, we're making we're making decisions in terms of emotion. So it's like you have a like, so for instance, you have a room where you put the the TV outside on the balcony. It's like you put the appliance to them in the wrong place. So your manager don't have my experience, and me have my experience. So that is case.
SPEAKER_02But it's a run street.
SPEAKER_04Run the road. So, I mean, what do you think is the formula to that? Because you know, Nori was just singing this song. I think everybody knows you by that song, Nori.
SPEAKER_01My life favorite song.
SPEAKER_04When that song came out, it was all over.
SPEAKER_01I missed him and that game.
SPEAKER_04So, but what led to the success? Like, is there a formula? What did you do to make that song bust or what? You know?
SPEAKER_01You see, for me still, me only have two choice in life. Two choice. Because for my small, my bad. My friend them bad, me, bad, me in the street, me involving a crime, violence, all these things. My friend them a robber, we have rob people things, we have stick up people, we are shoot people, we do all types of stuff. But the difference with me and my friend is like I always have a conscience. I can remember one time we're going to rob, right? And we get the thick, we get the stuff to me. And one of my friends said, Yo, I feel like you see we, you know, I go execute her. I mean, I said, No, man. So the man said, You know if you come back on the more robbery, you always are beg for people. You always are trying for, you know, like so the man said, Yo, bro, you better do music. Because you love music. You just do this because you have a follow, you are fitted. And from that day, I kinda just take his advice, even though he got 45 years.
SPEAKER_05Wow.
SPEAKER_01So, you understand? So I took his advice, and that is the family where I didn't have any options. I excel in school, it's just my mom alone. You big up my father, you know. I mean, you know, father thing. Because I want to blame my father till I become a father.
SPEAKER_02Like, yo, father, rough with you, you know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you know what I mean? And worse, when you're located somewhere different with different families, it's hard to have that connection there. And back in those days, you never have a telephone, a telegram, you have to write a letter and send it to the post office. So it's hard to communicate. You know what I mean? So, yeah, so it was five of us, and I was my mom alone. So we're always outside, outside, outside, and we never really have the option, like, because even though I have all the qualifications, my mother never have the money to send me to college. And even when I did a two-year diploma, I couldn't continue it. So I said, yo, it's either I go do badness or make a do music and I just choose music. So from here, is like I don't have a plan B. It's when I get established now, I start to venture on different music, like you know, real estate and you know, rental.
SPEAKER_02Before we go that far, I I didn't even know you was from Clarendon, you know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man, Clarendon.
SPEAKER_02I never knew that, you know.
SPEAKER_01Born and grow at Clarence.
SPEAKER_02Yo, you know, I would have lost my money for some reason. I thought you was from St. Anne or something. I don't know why I thought that, you know.
SPEAKER_01You know, the whole entire world thing I was from Portmore. Yes, Portmore.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but baby, but here we're going back. But you're gonna do my before you start talking about it. But do me look investigation, I'm gonna say, Clarendon? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, Clarendon. I said, where the square is dropping. Because alright, when I started in Clarendon, right? We never used to get the love. Wasn't the favorite, none at all. I mean, I say, yo, how may I go check them people, you know? Like, how am I gonna change the narrative? So, back to the crime of violence now, or the or the Almighty work for me. Um, I get wanted and a church. Like, you know, me and a youth have an altercation and stabbed a couple of times, and I get wanted, and police are looking for me in the community, and so I exit the community and I end up a poor more now. So I exit the community and go to a studio um near TVJ. And I was just there outside waiting. When you hear about the studio, someone go to the studio. Because I know I'm talented, I'm walking with a book like this. You know me, I listen to a lot of people on the radio, I mean, I say, yo, none of them individuals and tough like me. Like the lyrics and me, I write the type of words then when I use a few artists alone, I use them. So I can remember a particular individual. It's like in the morning, like 9 a.m. He went in the studio and he came out about maybe about five. Like lunch break, he came out and he sees me sitting down in the sun. Never know that he observing me. So I met this person named Terrence McDonald. So he was working on our next artist's career at the time. So he went to voice the artist. So he came out, he see me. He was like, alright. So he go up and when he done work, I move 5 p.m. From eight nine a.m. I was like, yo. From 9 a.m. C here say don't move. What happened? The producer upstairs don't know about it. And I said, Yeah, but you know, I wait till he come out. So I said, So no man, you're determined. You're most talented if you if you sit in the sun right now the whole entire day. I mean, I don't see you drinking no water, I don't see you eating a food. So I said, We do. I said, I sing, my DJ, I do everything. Sam was like, yo, why? I'm fooling about if you skip me out today, I'll skip all the best artists. And he was like, Alright, maybe hear something. But by the time he said, make me hear something, I gave five songs he was like, yo. You know what? You know, know me, you know, know if me is a killer, but I'm going to Portmore. And if you want forward, you're forward. And from that, I'm just jumping out of the car. And from there, so I mean life change. You know? He started to tell people, say, yo, me have the body's artist, and you know what I mean? And I saw me start to stay at Portland.
SPEAKER_02What year was that?
SPEAKER_01Huh?
SPEAKER_02You remember what year that was?
SPEAKER_01I don't remember. I was young. Just remember when we just leave school now. Yeah. First hit song, I was like 16, 17.
SPEAKER_02I know, I know when I was in Jamaica that time and I saw you do, I think it was Reggae's some, was it some fest? Like 2015, 16, something like that. Yo.
SPEAKER_00Real. Close it back to back. When that they hit that stage, fam.
SPEAKER_02I was one time I'm on the the I was and I was standing and I said, nah, them man jump off of the stairs, they man run all over, they man do the yo, because remember a lot of times we see you probably you've been in Jamaica how many times, but like from my experience, you know, I always see it on the video or whatever in them days, you know, or something, but to be in there, I just see the man of my touch.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And the man of my yeah, yo, as a different vibe, yeah. I I am the reason why them them ban those things out at stage show. Like literally ban it. Wow. It it literally makes primetime news, like the news in Jamaica, the national news. Yeah. So my friend them go hard.
SPEAKER_02Nah, wait, wait, wait, it was, it was it was crazy, bro.
SPEAKER_01From the initial stage, I know that I'm not gonna be the favorite dancer artist or the favorite reggae artist. Why? Because the favorite dance, fake favorite reggae artist is always gonna be Bob Molly. And it's not by default, it's because of lack of knowledge. You understand the structure that is put around Bob Mali's brand. You see, if you ask a lot of artists who's your favorite artist, Bob Mali's nothing, they will never 90% of the artists not gonna mention Bob Molly. It's because we're too near the forest, we can't see the cheese. So you hear a lot of artists complaining and say, oh Bob Mali rig the chart, Bob Mali kids them rig the chart, Bob Mali this, them rig the chart, the Mali is a good no more, that's a win grammy. It's because we now learn the infrastructure that put around them. So we have to learn that and just copy that and put that around us. Because if you work just as hard, say for instance is an artist who works to put out more songs than say Stephen Mali or DM and Mali then. And you work just as hard with that structure around you, you will reach the level where you're supposed to reach. It's just that a bad workman blame them too, and we look on the wrong things. You know what I mean? So I already know that you know, dance all artists' favorite change like over the years it this individual and this individual and this individual. But Bob Marley, the structure that was put around Bob Mali with Rita Malley and Chris Blackwell and all these things is is unshakable.
SPEAKER_04Well, who's gonna teach that structure though? Because remember you just said you don't know what you don't know, right?
SPEAKER_01It's there, everything, every the world is young and young, you know, so everything is there, every positive thing is there on the internet, and every negative thing is there on the internet. We choose to to absorb the negative algorithm. So if you give away 20 computers, that's not intriguing. That is not a thing.
SPEAKER_03But if no baby mother come catching with a girl, oh no baby, oh wait till they put on newer and the newer becomes people don't take a little bit.
SPEAKER_00Let me just use it as an example. And then watch it now.
SPEAKER_01And then watch up all of the tablets when something negative about you make their headlines free. So that is why bad becomes the new good. Why are youth wanna be like I win? Why are you want to be like Queen Africa? Isn't it intriguing?
SPEAKER_02Why somebody wanna be like so you feel that's why all the kids now sing so much? Yes, because dark music.
SPEAKER_01Because the the when I reason with them, they must like act in the best. So I start from the ground. The only thing you are gonna say, I'm horrible. I'm this, him that. The only way I can go from the ground is up. Just like Alkaline, check alkaline career. When Alkaline starts, Alkaline I'm a G, like I'm a British over the years, and we tell you that. So I mean I can't tell good food good same way. You understand? Because meet me never want to be the favorite dancer artist or the favorite red. We only want to be the best I team because me. From food farmers get distinction in principle of business. I always know, sir. Anyway, you go and see a KFC, you will see a McDonald's. Both of them celebrated the same thing.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But you not see nobody, you know, McDonald's are trying to keep KC away. BMW and and and and and and and and and and Benz. They celebrate the same thing. If you really check it. But they sell the same thing. But all your pro your all your or your or your you know promote yourself. Yeah, so this is why uh artists like him alkaline reaches a level where he starts from here where people are saying, Yo, my worst thing, yo, and do this, him do this. And then people gradually see the growth, the changes, the growth, the changes, the black eye come out, all of these things.
SPEAKER_02Well, you know, the black eye really kind of like set the tone for yeah, man, but people it's like it made the awareness, the yeah, weirdness and the lyrics content, all of these kind of just grew, and people start to say, Oh, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01They start to see the movement, but when you when you start from the hill of the valley, then everybody will try to bring you down.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so would you agree that you do need something to grab people's attention? Because all the artists you mentioned did something to grab people's attention.
SPEAKER_01Worse in these times, but you can do it positive too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's just that it's just that positive, it's just that the problem I'm having with people that is positive. It's when an individual becomes super positive, they start to detach themselves from the mass and contain the message for themselves. So everybody becomes a normal good. And once we start to get super positive, it's like me, I say, oh, my frequency, I don't know. No, I can't body. Noria eat me, nor I do that, nor yeah I do that. It's like me, I the knowledge from you. But a man with the knowledge, and if you have the knowledge and you don't share the knowledge, you want the knowledge now. So you have you have more people that is saying things that people consider negative more, it vocalizes more than people who are saying things positive. People don't advertise it enough, push it enough, and balance the equation. The reason why when I when I get established, when I go to school, me I hear sizzle and capital just like when I hear Bunti and Beanie, exactly the mouth, so I have choices. Now when artists listening, just I hear certain things.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. For me, it's a lot of times when I see some artists like perform live, sometimes it makes me embrace them different and see them different. Like I can like your music, but if I see you on stage and you and you're really God, I'll be like, nah, man. Imbot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man. In but so that that is what I do because I know that gotta be the favorite or the favorite. And I accept that. About no say out of the new school. I mean, I see nobody where can perform like really entertaining because me I learned from elephant and beanie and body and young absorb all of them capital and Anthony B. Turbulence is like my favorite performer.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but I feel he's not he's not he's not rated like how he should have been. I don't know what happened to Turbulence. Turbulence had a good run too, you know, bro.
SPEAKER_01Performance.
SPEAKER_02Yo, he had a great run. Remember Turbulence run?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he had a good run, guys. Because what I learned from Turbulence and Luton, what I learned from them when Turbulence are tour with Sisla. He never really had those bangers like what Sisla have it, but I could have watched him and how he dominated the crowd with songs that people don't know. So, you know what I mean? I took those things and I put it in my performance, you know what I mean? Because no, enough time you got places and an unknown artist at the show. Yeah, nobody knows him. Yeah. But the presentation is so intriguing and so appealing that people say, Yo.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know what I mean? Yeah, facts. So you learn from the minute things and you learn from the major things in life. This is how I just look upon it. That is why I take the initiative to close some face. Because when I do it, nobody was doing it. But I had the first young artist who do it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Beanie at the time said, Alright, if now close it, he might work international night.
SPEAKER_02You remember that, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, being the work international, he might work international. Want to close it. Yeah. So I say, yo, me I go close it. People say, You sure? So yeah, man, me I go close it.
SPEAKER_02And then we stood out there, was like, okay, well, let's see. Let's see this.
SPEAKER_00We stood out there. Because Noria said, acting up the song, everything rolling a button, but everybody stay back.
SPEAKER_01We see if me I go do it. Hell yeah. But you know what you mean? I have five minutes with Norry attention. If me go for the first two songs, then work, yeah, I exit, right? 100%.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Ask him if you've not watched the whole intention.
SPEAKER_02Now we watch the whole show. Me and my team we stood the whole time and watched the whole show. Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_02And you know, and you know Jamaica not easy enough. Especially the shows. No, roughest crowd. Yo, listen, if people make it on the stage, bro, you're good. You can go anywhere in the world.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. The roughest crowd in the whole entire world. Roughest. More now, it's kind of easier because we have the wines them, and if you notice, a lot of artists is just playing about the tracks and singing over it and these things. So it's like we observe the American thing. And yeah, and the new type of generation create a cult where them songs not really have a big like we consider, but when them when you keep a show with them, it's like a ram. Because each one of these new individuals have them own like a crowd, and these people know them songs word for word. Tamily and a bridge, and I couldn't understand Tammy Lee's song. I miss my daughter said, Tamily, my favorite artist, you know.
SPEAKER_02I mean, it was one of my favorite artists, too.
SPEAKER_01So I said, Tammy Lee with art of a meeting.
SPEAKER_02Nah, but bro, believe it or not, Tamily is like the godfather for all the kids, bro. Yeah, but the family are the godfather.
SPEAKER_00Sound just like him.
SPEAKER_04I know.
SPEAKER_00So all of the new generation would have done and something.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no. All of the new kids, the man, it's rhino. It's black rhino.
SPEAKER_02Nah, you getting that? It could be rhino.
SPEAKER_01I'm telling you, it's rhino, rhino the first.
SPEAKER_02You can't tell me, bro. Yeah. I'm on this side of the world. Yeah, it's just a rhino. You stood up. Rhino, yes, cool, but Tamily stood there the longest. No, my father.
SPEAKER_01Tamily do this now. Rhino was the first one, you know. I mean, let's say, um, come on, nobody never have that style of rhino. Nobody. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Rhino did bust that style. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Uh anymore.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right. Rhino style.
SPEAKER_01That bee sound they're like, yo, we're doing. And it was weird at the time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like a bee sound. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Rhino was just using it as a sound. Tamily make it become musical. Make it become a trend. And then if you listen, every one of the new artists, up to today, yeah, man.
SPEAKER_02Yo, bro. We could not understand.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I don't think they cared. No, I'm kids. No, no, kids like they don't, they just like the flow. You know what I'm saying? It was like, it's like you ever listen to like say a song, Afro B is a perfect example. Some of Burner Boy songs. You don't know what he's saying, but people still like Burner Boy.
SPEAKER_01I just like Tamily. Mr. Magua and Kitchho, Tamily. And my dad said, No, dad, that is Mr. Wem said boy jump over the moon. No, daddy not what's wrong with your hair ears? They're not listening. This out, Mr. You see when Tamily go, eh? Yeah. You sound like Kelly though. No, no. I look at things I can't perform. Yo, kids are sing like I mean, I say that you to greet, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03So, yeah. No, Tamily, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So your daughter is a little performer too, I'm seeing on your page.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01My daughter named Activa. She was the one who doing music first. And then she just said that, you know, I said, like the music business got kind of rough. Because Nori can tell you. And you know too because if you don't love that something, yeah, don't do it. Oh no, yeah. If you don't love it, don't do it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I was gonna ask you, would you be okay as somebody who's in music? Would you be okay with your kids doing music?
SPEAKER_01If they want to do it, like, you know, 99, she produced a song with me and she knows opportunists. So she produces it like you know, our mom send the rhythm, she chose the rhythm, I listen to the rhythm. And you know, she was like, yo, I need first she said that I don't want no profanity in this. And I want a world melody. I need a world melody.
SPEAKER_04How old is she now?
SPEAKER_01She was five at the time. It was like I need a world melody. She graduated congratulations at the park. She was like, we need a world melody. I was like, world melody. And I was you know, driving, go to the studio, and I saw my command with a song. So I'm gonna come up with a song, and the record song was like, yo. So she was like, yo, dad. I can't even give me a collaboration, like put somebody on it.
SPEAKER_05Collaboration.
SPEAKER_01She was like, yo, can you can he can you say if you get um chronicler or Shano or you know chronicler? Our mom is is is one of the you know number one director. Her mommy shoot video for all of them, work with all of them, so she knows them, them love you, they love her. Yes, you know what I mean. So she goes with them, so them love her love her and things. She was like, yo. So I said, all right, then chronicler. Then she said, she know. So I said, all right, call she know. So she knows a bomb for you know she knows a senate. So my senator said, Yo, here we go. Anything we don't like in it, they just change it. I said, mate, me not change nothing in this. I'm gonna just put two verses of the space, but the chorus and then may not change it this bad and yeah, it's straight. Wow, become a big song.
SPEAKER_02So so what does acting have right now for this year running for the rest? You have an album coming out, anything or anything extra? You still promoting the last album?
SPEAKER_01I'm still a promote that album.
SPEAKER_02Okay, yeah. Um, I feel like you you you promoted it, but you still have some more energy left in that in the album.
SPEAKER_01You know, the album mood the same way. Yeah, Shawnee's a reasonable to her album. Come have a yeah, we have a song for you. Shawnee's a regular job, boy. I tell you, Jesus. Ladies, Brees up on the waistline.
SPEAKER_02Anyway, are you gonna work back with some of the older producers though? I feel like we need some of them, some like a re a reunion.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, always work. No, I'm always wise for Shawnee's rhythm names. Good good. I have a new song just released for good good production.
SPEAKER_06So you understand?
SPEAKER_01And the chapical wave rhythm. Yeah, so look out for that. It named Spinning Powers. Ladies, that's nice. Yeah, it names spinning powers.
SPEAKER_02Ladies, if you if your man not spend power, you had we had we have done a song with Frost before too.
SPEAKER_01Let me see how you did um I used to work with a lot of major other producers. Yeah. But as what what I was explaining in the initial stage, people take different parts of it. No, 100%. You know, so people doing all that, me, I do my thing. Maybe in the future we can merge back again, you know what I mean? Because I mean someone really care feelings, you know.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I mean I care feelings. You know why I don't care feelings? Because I will see and tell the direct. A lot of people don't like I have to in the business, right? Really? Reason why?
SPEAKER_04Why?
SPEAKER_01I can't do the pretend thing. That's why you see me alone come here today. I can't do the pretending.
SPEAKER_04So they feel like you're too direct or yes, I'm too direct.
SPEAKER_02And that that can't that definitely can hurt you in this business.
SPEAKER_01Definitely hurt you in this business.
SPEAKER_02So alert me, alert me know.
SPEAKER_04But are these is this with friends or is this with industry people?
SPEAKER_02No, because because industry. You gotta know how to just sometimes see something and just move.
SPEAKER_01Yes, you have you have to learn diplomacy, and that is what I mean.
SPEAKER_02He won't tell everybody what he feels.
SPEAKER_01We just won't tell me. Boom, boom, boom. And Norris I won't big man. And him saying what him say, and him stand on it. But he will laugh it off. You know what I mean? Just for example, we just laugh it off, but him take it deep. Yeah, you know what I mean? And then you know, if you really believe in Christ and you really believe in the Almighty, you know what I mean? It's a every good and everything good, it's good for that. It's like sometimes you have to know when for talk, when for say when to say, and 90% of the time we're right, but 90% of the time I think we delivery. Because I am thinking that that man have tastes a round something if you deal with it like a man.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, but not everybody's a man, yeah. Everybody have that, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So it kind of kind of rub me the wrong way still.
SPEAKER_04Any times regret it, like relationships that you lost?
SPEAKER_01No, you know, really, because experiences teach you wisdom. If I make it defeat me, then I don't learn.
SPEAKER_02That that bro, sometimes you gotta be like, damn, I shouldn't have said that.
SPEAKER_01No, man, that's what I mean. We all do that, bro. No, I do too. No, man, I say it to myself, you know. But me also learn in the process, like, alright, me know next time I'll really do that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's very that's I think that's the most viable.
SPEAKER_01The next thing that aren't me, art in the music, you have to corrupt sometimes. You have to corrupt just like oh you're good. And when we mean when we say that it's just layman terms, you have to activate your nose. You have to know if you tell people no. Me never know if you tell people no, so I always disappoint a lot of people because I want to do that. I'm gonna say, all right, the regional technology I gotta do it. I'm gonna have a problem doing it. But then the danger mental call me now, no worry about them free. The angel mental call me with PM. I'm gonna say, All right, I'm gonna link the angel mental and spend the whole entire night. And then no worry now, I wait for the double and never get it. And then no, me might have said, Yeah, I'm gonna do it. Because I look upon it and I say, Yo, free, may I do it? But then I look upon it and I say, bro, you have to stand by your word. You have to make your word be a word. Like when you say something, you stand by it. Even if it will take your life, just stand by it. Word have to be a word. So I start to activate me now. If I can't do it, I just can't do it. And it's not me used to say no, but me elaborate by me now. If you just say no, two letter.
SPEAKER_02That's not true.
SPEAKER_01No. No, and then the next individual will understand. Even if you don't understand that, they can't elaborate, say the telling. Because when you say maybe that it's a segue to the to yes to. You know? Yeah. They just say, yeah, you know, say, no, can't do that no, you know, cards. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like I see a lot of times I tell like I'm like, my friend, them like, you know, merging them, like, bro, you don't gotta lie to me, you know, lie to a woman. I tell them all the time that, you know. I know it sounds crazy, right? We think about it. Why am I lying to a man? My burden. More time go lie to a woman, man, and tell us some foolish. We like to me, Pa. You can't tell me, yo, you know, you know, I ain't doing that this week, you know.
SPEAKER_01But they don't want to disappoint you. They don't want to disappoint you because them chopping at the same time. It's a lot of time, man. So something have just come out of the bobby. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04Well, I'm filming a new music video, top gallus.
SPEAKER_01Why may I tell you?
SPEAKER_04It looks clean.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah. Once I put money back in that thing, man. That's bling blang again.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, man. Yeah, no, shout out to the feet. Seriously, shout out to the female directors, because they're not a lot of them, you know. So bling blang, big up bling blang doing her thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man, and yo, she shoot for everybody, she shoot for um every single bling bling, shoot for me, cartel, alkaline, rumin, um, taros, zaga, um, mag, and everything. What that means.
SPEAKER_02She's been in there. I can't spend some money panic, man. She's so expensive. Yeah, man, cost me, man.
SPEAKER_01Home do it now. Alright, like I do my thing now because that's a content person in terms of go on the internet and post. No, no, like have a conversation with other people. You know, like the content creator, they will say, yo, yeah, my man knows baby mother put him out. The man where you know, Marina and them something. And then get the fans them and they I am not like that. But I'm I'm very vocal when it comes to certain things. So how I can put myself in the algorithm without being messy. As well people can't see that.
SPEAKER_02Without being messy, let me just don't talk.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, right. So what I do now, I just like so if if Nori have a reading or you have a reading, we just voice for it. We just voice pan it and then ask the fans to delete it or send the files. That Nori night. And if the people themselves delete it, we just delete it.
SPEAKER_02So you roll enough for the summer.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, sound with Shawny's.
SPEAKER_02Whoa, so summer looking very active. That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about. So we are definitely here supporting you. And you know, whenever you have the song and we can't send it to me. Can we kind of say a thing I'm gonna say some at 97 only?
