SPEAKER_02

I'm good. I'm good.

SPEAKER_01

That's good.

SPEAKER_02

Keep it warm?

SPEAKER_01

Huh?

SPEAKER_02

Keeping warm? It's still cold. I'm like, I'm tired of the winters. I'm ready for this to be over.

SPEAKER_01

Listen, to be a New Yorker, you know you know what it is, alright?

SPEAKER_02

No, I I still I will never get used to it. I will never get used to it. Never, never, never. So it was good.

SPEAKER_01

Went to uh concert this weekend I like. Oh, how was it? It was crazy. You know, very good, very good concert. It was put together real good.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You know the theatrics and actually perform and stream and change and all that. It was real good.

SPEAKER_02

And how was the crowd? Because they say that that's like the biggest crowd that's all artists.

SPEAKER_01

I wouldn't say it's the biggest crowd, I think, for the age of who he is is the biggest for that age. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

One of the he's not necessarily new school, but yes, newer than like the legends, like you know.

SPEAKER_01

And he didn't he didn't actually, you know, have to, you know, he didn't do nothing. He just him. Yeah, you know, and that was really what the I think that was really more impacting for me that it was just him. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_02

Right, one person that was able to sell it out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, that's when you see Beyonce, you just see Beyonce.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Right. No, that's I mean, and that's a milestone to be able to sell out that stadium by yourself, that's huge.

SPEAKER_01

And um, you know, you a lot of people comparing to cartel and him, but I think that's just so right. I think that's just a culture of people just being messy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and like just I mean, we expect, you know, like say a hip-hop artist to to sell it out. Like, we don't talk about like okay, Cardi versus, you know what I'm saying, Beyonce or Cardi versus, you know, whoever else, whatever rapper, you know, Megan selling it out. So why compare the dance hall artists? You know what I mean? It's like it's an accomplishment for whoever to sell it out. They can both sell it out and still be, you know, well, a huge figure in dance hall.

SPEAKER_01

They could sell it out, but you know, shout to CJ. She she holds a heavy part of being the promoter for the event. She does. Email doing her thing.

SPEAKER_02

Love to see it.

SPEAKER_01

She did a great job with production and everything, and you know, just making sure that you know the patrons got a good show. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

You know, she's like, I heard there was there was a little ru rumbling going on.

SPEAKER_01

I think there's a little but listen, when you have alcohol and when people smoking, it's you didn't have anything, but uh get ready for it.

SPEAKER_02

It was, yeah, yeah, yeah. But we're not gonna focus on that. We're gonna focus on a lot of wheels.

SPEAKER_01

You know, back in the days nine wasn't so easy.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. The people were just excited. We'll say that. There was a lot of excitement in the crowd.

SPEAKER_01

In the crowd, and and it showed, you know, people really interacted, and yeah, a lot of fans from all over came. And you can see that it's something that he could probably do again. And it was smart because he did it and dropped his album the same weekend, which was dope, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_02

So yeah, yeah, yeah. It was a good program.

SPEAKER_01

I I was proud because I I like to see the the I don't want to say the next generation, but that generation actually elevate and do more for themselves, you know. Yeah, you get to watch that.

SPEAKER_02

Well, my favorite artist just linked up the other day. Can you guess who?

SPEAKER_01

Your favorite artist?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, my favorite, my favorite all-time favorite, probably.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so you said your favorite artist did what?

SPEAKER_02

Just linked up.

SPEAKER_01

Linked up with you, or just like no, amongst themselves.

SPEAKER_02

What? They linked up my favorite artists linked up.

SPEAKER_01

My favorite artists are themselves.

SPEAKER_02

Can you guess who?

SPEAKER_01

That the artist links up with themselves all the time. Like, not all the time.

SPEAKER_02

These don't. These particular ones don't. That's why it was so special. So can you take a guess? Yo, ten.

SPEAKER_01

Somebody got a microphone off.

SPEAKER_02

Seven. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I know you like women, so what?

SPEAKER_02

Um I mean, this is like the queen. Okay. The queen? That's another hint. Yeah, she's like the queen of all female artists, in my book, at least. Because they they say spice is the queen. Oh, yes, she is. She is. I would say, I would say Spice would even say that this woman would give her her flowers and say, Yes, she's the queen. I would bet on that that Spice would even say this woman is a queen as well.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna keep going. Okay, he don't, he don't, you don't know. You don't know. You don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Lauren Hill and Wycliffe, the Fujiis linked up, they reunited. Um talking about ability. I got excited and I'm like, okay, okay, okay, okay. I need to talk about my artists real quick. Yes, so the Fujiis, the Fuji's linked up. Yes, that was your artist, bro. How could you not? That's probably you know what? You know what's crazy? Lauren Hill. I feel like if you ask any dance hall artists who are some of their global, globally, who are their favorite artists? Yeah, I'm sure a lot of dance hall artists would say the Fuji's or Lauren Hill, hands down.

SPEAKER_01

You know, you know my era of dance, or you know who they would say? Celine Dion.

SPEAKER_02

They probably would. No, I believe you. I believe you. No lie. No, you're right. You're right. They probably would. Celine Dion. No, she's a queen in certain circles too. Celine Dion. Up to today. She, I know, I know. Some dance apart is still, I believe. No, she's mother. She is mother to certain people in certain circles.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but Laura Hild, I I definitely give a uh flower. Yeah. So what kind of link up were we?

SPEAKER_02

The Fuji's, they did this photo shoot for um a fashion magazine the other day. But of course, you know, it was everybody, the Fuji's of what we have. Everybody except Prize. You already know Prize couldn't be there because he was sentenced to jail. Already? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. He was sentenced already. He got uh mad quick.

SPEAKER_01

I just I felt like I just heard about it and now he's in jail already.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he was sentenced for 14 years. And so it's 14 years. I know that's a long time. I I think it's I think it's kind of excessive for what he did. I think it's a bit excessive, but unfortunately.

SPEAKER_01

What exactly did he do though?

SPEAKER_02

So they say that he basically was illegally giving money to the Obama campaign in 2012. 2012 to the what? What campaign? The Obama campaign.

SPEAKER_01

Get me out of here.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And so not Trump? No, not Trump.

SPEAKER_01

Obama?

SPEAKER_02

Not Trump. Obama. Why are you laughing? Why are you laughing?

SPEAKER_01

Because I feel like that that doesn't mix properly for me.

SPEAKER_02

Like that's what?

SPEAKER_01

That doesn't mix. That to me, that doesn't, you know, like, I don't know. Fraud and Obama? Like, how does that?

SPEAKER_02

I know it's shot. It's like, I'm like, don't tape my boy Obama's name, please. Like, don't drag Obama.

SPEAKER_01

Like if you said Eric Adams out of Middle East. I know, I know.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, they're saying he got 19 years. Not 14 years. 14 years old.

SPEAKER_01

How old is Roz? Like what? Maybe. I think Ross is probably mid-50s, probably.

SPEAKER_02

Probably. I hate to see it.

SPEAKER_01

So he might be coming out maybe 60 something, maybe.

SPEAKER_02

I hate to see it happen.

SPEAKER_01

Wow.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

In your big age now, going to jail. That just feels so much.

SPEAKER_02

I know. I know.

SPEAKER_01

I don't wish that on anyone.

SPEAKER_02

I don't wish it on anyone either.

SPEAKER_01

But maybe he might get out early. Is it like the feds, like uh one year is two year kind of thing like that? I think something like that. It's one of those one years, not really one year. Like I don't know about that. Yeah, I'm gonna look it up. I'll let you know. I'll let you know. What is it?

SPEAKER_02

One year is what? Not one year.

SPEAKER_01

One year is like uh one year in the feds, I think is like a year and a half for us. It's like a weird, it's not really us for who? Like a regular, like so a year for you and me is 12 months. But in the feds, I think it's like 16 months is a year. It's weird. Oh Google it. I'm not 100%.

SPEAKER_02

Like if you do a federal crime and you're sentenced to one year, it's really 16. You have to pay 16 instead of weekend. Oh, I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_01

But um, so but he ain't the first uh Fuji to go to jail. Didn't Lauren go to jail too?

SPEAKER_02

Who?

SPEAKER_01

Lauren Hill.

SPEAKER_02

Nah, not my girl. She wasn't in jail. What does she go to jail? Lauren Hill, I've never heard of jail. Taxes too, bro.

SPEAKER_01

For three months.

SPEAKER_02

I never heard of that.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, like don't get it twisted. This looks like it's a fool.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. Maybe we don't we don't acknowledge that. I don't I don't know. Steve Mine doesn't I've never heard that. Google it. Google it. Tell us if it's true, people, because I've never heard of this.

SPEAKER_00

Lauren went to jail for three months for captivating. There you go.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. She pleaded guilty to find that.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

1.8 million in earnings between 2005 and 2007.

SPEAKER_01

See that? I told you. Yeah. Well. Give my engineer a microphone, all right? Because my boy is on point. Have my back. He had my back.

SPEAKER_02

Team Lauren, we don't we don't acknowledge that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Don't worry about it.

SPEAKER_02

Did it happen in our history books?

unknown

What do you mean?

SPEAKER_02

It didn't happen for us. For Team Lauren, that never happened.

SPEAKER_01

A lot of people went to jail for tax evasion, but it's a it's a it's a nice little calm crime.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I feel like nobody really talked about it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. But you know, prize, you know, my brother. I don't wish that on nobody.

SPEAKER_02

It's so crazy. I don't either. But you know what you do, you just uh pack up and move to Jamaica. You know, Jamaica is um they are allowing people to like come there. If you're a digital nomad and you can like work remote or whatever, they want like people to move to Jamaica. Probably to like, you know, I don't know, help with you know the tourism and stuff like that. Well, actually, you know, it might be because of the hurricane too. I don't know exactly why they're doing it, but if you work remote, you work from home, you know, or if you just have some free time on your hands, Jamaica wants you, they're calling you. So they want you to come work from home in Jamaica.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, so they're actually given what are they giving, like a discount for residences?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, exactly. Exactly. Yeah, and they'll actually help you uh relocate so you get like a package or a program where they'll like put you up in housing or recommend like safe housing for you to encourage people to move.

SPEAKER_01

So you need to put a whole proposal. Let's take this to Jamaica.

SPEAKER_02

Facts.

SPEAKER_01

Taking this to Jamaica, baby.

SPEAKER_02

No, listen. No, that's an idea. Back this up, let's go. Back the sub. Let's wrap it up.

SPEAKER_01

We're going to Jamaica back, baby. Coming. We're coming.

SPEAKER_02

It's submitted application.

SPEAKER_01

Listen, next time you hear us on here, we she should have some kind of some answers for me.

SPEAKER_02

Facts. I'm gonna have a whole update on it. Like, okay, this is this is you know what you need to do, where you need to be, get all the information. You got your password ready and everything, right? Ready. Okay, alright. Just renewed. My passport stay ready.
