The Lead Quietly Podcast
85. What got your here, won't get you there
In this episode, I talk about this central idea of what got you to where you are now, aren't the same things that will get you to your next level. This is an idea that has been written in books, talked about by speakers and podcasters, and is all over personal development. But, I'm finding it to be true for myself on my own journey.
I offer 5 reflection questions to help you:
- Where is “here”? Where am I right now?
- Who am I right now? How would I describe myself right now?
- What new labels/attributes would I like to have? What feelings would I ideally like to feel?
- What is stopping me from embodying those labels/attributes right now?
- How can I start shifting to be more like those new attributes that I want and feel those new feelings right now?
Mentioned in this episode:
- How Women Rise book by Sally Helgesen and Marshall Goldsmith
- Joe Dispenza
