The Uncommon Woman
Host Melanie and Morgan have one goal. To engage, equip and empower women with the Gospel. In Matthew 6:28, Jesus asks us to consider the wildflowers. As we reflect on this verse, what does this mean for the current and future generations of women? Join them as they discuss stories, lessons, and the truth about what it really means to be a wildflower!
The Uncommon Woman
Embracing Kindness & Compassion to Make a Difference
Hey wildflowers! Today we are talking about how we can look at showing kindness, compassion and mercy to others from a Kingdom view. Our purpose is just like Jesus' - to serve our neighbors. But, who is our neighbor? Who should we be treating like this? In Luke 10, Jesus uses the Samaritan man as an example on who our neighbor is and how we should be treating other people. No matter who they are, the circumstances or what's going on in your life, we are called to serve others and the greatest example we can look towards is Jesus. We also walk through a few other verses to strengthen ourselves and have a heart check on how we are serving those around us daily. We hope this empowers you to take those opportunities God is placing in front of you to serve others and to be a light in a dark place!
Always remember to consider the wildflowers.
