Today’s meditation is about rediscovering your momentum—in the pause.  

I’m guiding you through a short, 5-minute meditation to help you pause, reset, and return to your work or your day feeling more focused and energized. 

If you caught our last episode, we explored how taking a break doesn’t mean giving up. In fact, it can be one of the most powerful ways to move forward. 

So, whether you’re in between tasks, waiting for motivation to strike, this one's for you!

Welcome to this 5 minute guided meditation to help you reset without losing momentum

 

Find a comfortable seat. Close your eyes if you feel safe doing so. Let’s begin.

 

Take a deep breath in through your nose…

Hold for a moment at the top…

And slowly exhale through your mouth.

Let your shoulders soften.

Let your jaw unclench.

Let yourself be here—now.

You’ve been moving. Planning. Pushing.

And now, you’re pausing—not because you’re quitting,

but because you’re honoring the rhythm of your energy.

Let your breath move naturally—no need to control it.

Just feel it—arriving...and leaving.

With each breath out, let go of just a little more tension.

Now bring your attention to your body.

Notice any areas that feel heavy or tight.

No need to fix anything—just observe.

Say silently to yourself:

“I am allowed to rest.”

“I can pause and still make progress.”

“My energy is valuable, and I choose to protect it.”

Let those words echo inside you.

And as you breathe, imagine that your pause is fueling a small fire inside—

A fire that burns steadily, even when you’re still.

Momentum is not constant motion.

It’s sustained energy.

And this moment?

This moment is part of your momentum.

Take one more deep breath in—

Feel it gather.

And release it slowly—

Letting your whole body soften just a little more.

 

[Closing – 40 seconds]

When you’re ready, start to bring some small movement back into your body—wiggle your fingers or stretch gently.

Take one final breath in...

And as you exhale, gently open your eyes.

You’ve just taken 5 minutes for yourself.

And in doing so, you’ve protected your momentum.
