Cydni and Sher
Life will give us reasons to feel discouraged, disheartened and broken. We choose to take from these moments reasons to find courage, hope and wholeness. When life tries to crack us, we choose to crack up. When we are too weary, we seek strength. When life feels too dark, we remind ourselves from words in the Hebrews “we are not of them who draw back.” Rather we choose to move forward Together.
Cydni and Sher discuss stories from the scriptures, history and their own experiences finding a common truth that there is purpose, meaning and learning to be done all directed by an all powerful, wise and loving God. Come laugh with us or at us, either way we are so glad you are here.

Sher: and I'm Sher, and we invite you to join us. for a few minutes each Tuesday and Thursday in December for a special Christmas message.
Cydni: To make your Christmas a little more Christ-massy. [00:01:00]
Sher: At Christmas time, we are reminded of the light and love of our Savior Jesus Christ, who came into the world to lift us, heal us, and teach us how to love one another. Yet as we navigate life, there are moments when we encounter individuals who instead of offering kindness, seem to thrive on the struggles of others.
Like sharks circling a wounded swimmer, they revel in pain and seek to exploit it, using our challenges to elevate themselves. But thankfully, there is another far greater example we can turn to. I have seen the Christ like actions of people who genuinely care, those who embody the spirit of the season, not just at Christmas, but year round.
They may not fully understand what we are enduring or why, yet their hearts are filled with the desire to help, serve, and show charity. Having experienced Christ's love in their own lives, they reflect it outward, sharing his light [00:02:00] in their interactions.
This is what Christmas is truly about, celebrating the birth of the one who understands every pain, trial, and heartache we face. The scriptures teach us, And he shall go forth suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind. And this, that the word might be fulfilled, which sayeth he will take upon Him the pains and the illnesses of His people. Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, knows our sorrows intimately. He feels our frustrations, our embarrassments and our grief. Only He can mend the invisible wounds that. Others may not understand. It is through Him alone that we find lasting peace, hope, and faith. Life's challenges may weigh us down, but beautiful moments and the love of others can lift us up. Christ's birth is a perfect example of this, a reminder that even in the darkest of nights, a bright star can illuminate the way.
This Christmas, as life's trials and [00:03:00] triumphs shape our journey, let us remember to turn to Christ. He is our light, our beacon, our Prince of Peace. Like the star over Bethlehem, He guides us through the darkness to a place of safety, love and redemption. And as we follow His example, may we too bring His light into the lives of others. for in doing so, we honor His birth and His infinite gift to all mankind. This is our prayer.
