Here, Brian breaks down the documents Velocity provides in its lawsuit to show you they don't own a debt they are suing upon. The whole thing is as a result of the debt collector trying to patch up the chain of title holes with a false affidavit and missing assignments from the initial seller (cross river) who as the original creditor, securitized the debt and other actors showed up claiming the right to the debt. The paperwork, numbers, names and dates don't match up for this lawsuit to ever have been started. Just use the debt collector's own paperwork against them and win this case. Its all about the assignments, baby.
