Clinical psychologist and board certified behaviour analyst, Dr. Kent Corso gives a brief introduction and history of primary care behavioural health.
Our North Zone has trained over 50 Primary Care Network staff in our Behavioural Health Consultant (BHC) supplemental training program. Primary Care Behavioural Health is a model of healthcare delivery that meets patients where they are, and helps them use their strengths to manage their health including their mental health conditions. A trained BHC PCN staff can assist patients with sleep issues, anxiety, depression, sexual health concerns, trauma, chronic pain and other health concerns.
