Adele Pentland
Adele Pentland is a PhD candidate at Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia and palaeontologist at the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum of Natural History in Winton, outback Queensland, Australia.
In 2019 she named the most complete species of pterosaur from Australia, Ferrodraco lentoni, based on a partial skeleton (10% complete).
She's worked with colleagues on dinosaurs including the sauropod Diamantinasaurus matildae, and discovered Australia's first elaphrosaurine, a weird type of herbivorous herbivore.
Adele is passionate about palaeotourism in central western Queensland, and wants to tell the world about the incredible fossils found in Australia and lesser known fossils from around the world.
