But the NBA tea is INSANE. The Clippers got caught red-handed cheating the salary cap. Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo had beef on social media. At Summer League in Vegas, Bam allegedly punched Tyler in the face.
The ESPYs were beautiful this week. The WNBA All-Star weekend is next weekend in Chicago (July 24-25). Team Clark & Aj'a Wilson versus Team Paige Beckers & Stewie. And yes, I'm going! Let me know if you'll be there.

Hi hot girls, welcome back to the Hoops for Hotties live show. Thank you, thank you everyone, thank you. Yes, thank you. So today I'm going to be doing something I haven't done in a while because if you follow me on TikTok, you'll probably know I've been slacking. I've been slacking. I haven't been keeping the girls up to date on everything that's going on in the sports world as I should be. So today I'm going to be going over everything that has been happening in sports, telling you my thoughts, telling you what you need to know, okay, all of the tea. Because why I take a little uh a couple days off from reporting the news to you girls, and everybody wanna act up. Everybody wanna act up, everybody wanna act a damn fool. Let's get into it. Okay, so first and foremost, we have to talk about our our love that is coming to an end. The world cup final is tomorrow, babies. And Spain is playing Argentina, and I think all of my hot girls are rooting for Argentina. Er, no, ha ha ha! Why did I say that? My hot girls are rooting for Spain, the World Cup finale is tomorrow. Okay, the championship is tomorrow, and I'm rooting for Spain. Thank you, thank you. Let me make that real clear. Okay, the storyline writes itself Messi and likely his final World Cup ever is going up against Lamin Yamal. Now, if you guys haven't seen that photo of Lamin Yamal in the bathtub being bathed by Messi because he won a charity competition to take a picture with Messi. That shit is insane. But Lamin Yamal is 19 years old, best in the world, as some people say. He better be the best in the world tomorrow. I know that's right. And he's going up against Messi, who's likely in his final World Cup ever, and the defending champs in Argentina. I'm rooting for Spain. You guys saw my video. If you haven't, check it out on TikTok about Argentina and their history with my people. Let's leave it, let's leave it there. Yeah? Oh my god, it's on Sunday. My bad, my bad. Oh my god, they're cussing me out. They're cussing me out, they're cussing me out. Guys, it's not tomorrow, it's on Sunday. I mixed up and thought today was Saturday. Please. It's been a long week. Please, please, she's my friend. It's my birthday, please. But yes, the final is on Sunday. Is everybody happy in the chat that I corrected myself? Okay, the World Cup final is on Sunday. The third place game between France and England is tomorrow. I don't know what's gonna happen. I've asked a lot of people who know a lot more about soccer football than me about what they think is gonna happen in the championship game. I can't, like, I'm not qualified to give you that analysis. All I do know is Argentina are the defending champs, and they got that whistle in their pocket. I'm sorry. And that's just based on me watching the World Cup so far. They got that whistle in their pocket. It's giving very much the powers that be definitely want Argentina to win. Sorry, sorry. So, yeah. Also, one thing I can predict, one thing I can tell you about is the first ever World Cup halftime show. And the lineup is a little bit all over the place, as it should be. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the lineup. I think the lineup should represent different areas of the world and like the music that's the most popular in the world. I think that this makes sense. But you let me know in the chat if you guys think that this halftime show is giving or not. So we've got Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, BTS, Burno Boy. All of this was curated by Coldplace Chris Martin, Beyonce's ex-boyfriend. Okay, I made that up. I'm spreading a rumor, but like, do you guys know the do you guys know the T? Like, you guys know the T? Like, I don't know. That's Beyonce's ex-boyfriend to me. We've got some pop, Latin music, K pop, Afro Beats. They made a halftime show that's like curated for everybody. And that's really hard to do to make, you know, the halftime show suitable for everyone. I'm a believer. Anyone who knows me, any of the hot girls who really like are locked in with me, know I'm a believer down. I don't play by Justin Bieber, and I know he's gonna eat. Because listen, when I stayed up till three o'clock in the morning to watch him at Coachella, and the first night, he gave us, he gave us, he gave us dust. He gave us dust to the point where I ranted about it on TikTok so bad that I had to, I had to issue a public apology because I didn't want people mixing me up with the Justin Bieber haters because I'm not one of them. But then that second weekend, he ate it the fuck up. Ate it the fuck up, nom nom nom nom nom nom shoot it up. So I have faith in my babes that he's gonna eat it up. And everybody's saying Justin Bieber's not relevant. Justin Bieber has been relevant since middle school. Justin Bieber's not relevant. Bitch, he get up on that stage. All my only request from Justin Bieber is all over on the uh uh uh uh people want to be love. Tell me that wouldn't chew. Tell me that wouldn't chew at the World Cup, the halftime show. All around the uh people want to come on, guys, come on! When Justin Bieber was a wee lad and he had that spiky hair, he went from the swoop hair to the spiky hair and he put out all around the world, he he did so manifesting this moment right here. I need that song bad. Goo goo gaga in the chat talking about it wouldn't you. Love you, thank you for joining the love live. But it is kind of ironic that you whining about Justin Bieber and your name is Goo Goo Gaga. Like, come on, y'all, come on, y'all. Give some love to the beeves. I think he's gonna eat. A lot of the girls are excited to see BTS, a lot of the girls are excited to see Shakira and Burna Boy. All I know is we never heard that whack ass song again. Never fail this free beef. The only reason I know the words to the whack ass song is because I made 500 TikToks complaining about it. But we literally never heard that song again. I love this for us. Is Jelly Roll performing? It doesn't look like it. I don't know. Now let's move on because I know the football fans are really sick of me talking about football, even though my World Cup video last week. Y'all liked my World Cup video last week, so I don't know on YouTube. But we're gonna move on to the WNBA because I have to tell you this story. If I'm gonna give you your news report for what happened in sports this week, we can't skip over Caitlin Clark going nuts on the ref. Can't skip it, unfortunately, because I haven't talked about it on TikTok because honestly, I'm sick of talking about, I'm sick of talking about a Caitlin Clark like deep story that like has a meaning beyond just like fucking basketball. I think it's like doing the league a disservice that we always are having these conversations that are about like player personality shit. And here's my thing. I'm gonna say this. And I know some of my girlies, contrary to what I usually say, are gonna get mad at me, but honestly, this thought just popped in my head. So I'm going to be communicating this as I tell this story. But I'm gonna say this before I talk about Caitlin, real quick. She is a woman at the end of the day, and the policing of women's emotions and reactions to things does get on my nerves. If Caitlin were a black woman, would her screaming at the ref be plastered on front page news and probably on a billboard in Times Square? Like, hell yeah. That that's that's very much true. But at the same time, aren't we sick of having conversations about WNBA players overreacting to something or like one foul out of a full game or like these little moments? Aren't we sick of having these like long drawn-out conversations about these things and not like talking about what actually happened in the game and what actually fucking matters? That annoys me a little bit because like these little moments of games, particularly that Caitlin Clark are involved in, get blown out of proportion into these big conversations that everybody who doesn't watch the WNBA want to join in on and give their opinion on. And then it's just like we're losing the plot. And I just find it annoying because later in the show we're gonna talk about NBA players punching each other in the fucking jaw, and it's like when it comes to women, we're constantly policing how we react to each other or speak to each other, and we leave the basketball part out of it, right? And then we're always talking about this girl overreacted, this girl did that, and then Caitlin Clark got choked and punched and beat up, and all these girls are petty and jealous. And it's just like I just feel like it's just going in circles for the wrong shit, and it's irritating to me. So that's why I didn't really like speak on it. But if I'm going to, if I'm going to give you guys the sports recap for what happened this week, I've I've gotta mention it. But that's that's my true feelings about it. I like let's shut the fuck up, really. But to keep you armored with knowledge about what's going on in the sports world, on Tuesday, July, that's not Tuesday wasn't July 15th. I wrote this fucking wrong. Anyways, this week the fever played the Golden State Valkyries, they lost the game 88 to 75. Caitlin Clark drove to the basket and she got kneed in the leg while getting guarded by Kia Stokes from the Valkyries, and there was a no-call. Caitlin went fucking ballistic. She went fucking ballistic and was going nuts on the ref. I hate when she acts like that. Honestly, it gives me the ick. I literally get the ick. When I see Caitlin like screaming and crying to a ref in that way, like I'm like, please stop. I'm getting second-hand embarrassment. Like, girl, can you keep a pee? Like, this is too much. Like, I I I hate when she does that. It gives, and just so you know, this energy doesn't just apply to women. It gives me the ick when Luca Doncic does it too. Calm the fuck down. What what what in the hell are we doing? Because when Luca wanna cry and complain because he wasn't eligible for NBA awards because he missed too many games, well, you would have been there for more games had you not been crying to the refs so fucking much you got too many texts. Okay, crying to the refs is not beneficial to your career, it's not cute, it's not peat, it's not fun, it's not fresh. I don't like it. Am I all for an emotional reaction when you feel like there should have been a call and there wasn't one? Yeah. Am I all for embellishing a little bit, to be honest, when you think that there should have been a call and you're like kind of like, ah, not Shea Gilgest Alexander level, but if you want to embellish a little bit and be dramatic, fine. What Caitlin did to that ref was like that was ugly. That was ugly. That's that's that's the best way I can put it. It was ugly, it wasn't cute, and if it were Angel Reese, it would be on a billboard in Times Square. I'm sorry. It would. It would. Can we all admit that? It would be on a billboard in Times Square. Everyone will be talking about it. They'd be like, get her monkey ass out of the league and blah blah blah blah blah. Like they would be going in and they would be going off. It would be on Fox News if she was asking like that. So, yes, at the same time, the conversation blowing up to the point that it did, just because of her reaction, I was like, okay, like, okay, we're doing a lot. Like Draymond Green probably would have like drop kicked him in the nuts. And that's not even an over-dramatization. Like, he literally kicked LeBron James in the nuts. Okay, so like that, like, please, like, leave the woman alone. However, after the game, when I saw the slow-mo replay of this situation play out, and I saw that she was not need, she was not needed, she was not touched, she was not brushed up on. She like that did not happen. And on top of that, she fake limped to the other side of the court. Oh, Caitlin, like, I'm getting the ek. I'm getting the egg. What are we doing, mama? I didn't like that. I didn't like that. So the fake limping when you didn't get touched by Kia Stokes is fucking nuts to me. So for my girls that don't watch sports, Caitlin Clark was playing against the Valkyries this week. She drove to the basket, she freaked the fuck out on the ref, like she had gotten need in the quad, as she put it. And then after the game, she even gave like, and I'm sorry, people are getting mad at me, but like a Karen speech and was like, the refs just can't miss that. The refs just can't miss that. And then when we look back at it in slow-mo in the replay, she wasn't touched. She wasn't touched. She's talking about I had to play the rest of the game with a contusion, but she didn't touch you. What was con what what was contued? What was contued? Because I dude played the get rest of the game with a contusion. Why? She didn't touch you. Yeah, um, so that's what happened. The whole internet is arguing about whether the refs target her or whether the refs need to protect her or whatever. I don't know. I'm not engaging, I'm disengaging from this argument, but that was what the girls were talking about. Next, I want to talk about the NBA's three separate messes. Bitch, first and foremost, LeBron James holding the entire league hostage. Adam Silver told us the public that the NBA is waiting to make their schedule until they know what team LeBron James is gonna play for. No, I'm not making that up. LeBron James told the Los Angeles Lakers thanks, but no thanks. I'm going to play next year, just not for you, and I need to figure shit out. There's a lot of teams on LeBron's docket that are that are making plays at LeBron. He's got a lot of, you know, viable suitors. He's looking at the Cavaliers, he's looking at the Miami Heat, he's looking at the Philadelphia 76ers. He there were rumors about him looking at the Nuggets. He's he's looking all over the league. I think he needs to go to Cleveland. He's even looking at the Golden State Warriors. Okay, he's got a lot of suitors, but he's taking his time to decide what he wants to do. Well, Adam Silver is like tick tock, LeBron. Tick motherfucking talk. How am I supposed to make the schedule if I don't know where LeBron's playing? Because you gotta think, guys, they have to decide things like who is gonna play in opening night games, who is gonna play on Christmas Day, who's gonna play who on Christmas Day. Like, obviously, if LeBron goes to a team that could be a rival for the Lakers, it would eat for that team to play against the Lakers on Christmas Day, right? Things like that. But they can't decide any of that until LeBron James decides where he's gonna play, which means that whole who's gonna be the next face of the NBA conversation, go ahead and we can we can resume that when LeBron James is gone officially. Because LeBron is the face of the face of the face is face of the league. Because they can't even make the fucking schedule until they know what team he's gonna play for. Do you know how I'm saying that is? And if he decides to go to the Golden State Warriors, they're gonna get a every single nationally televised game, are they not? Like every uh like every single one. And I do want to say LeBron loves this shit. I and LeBron loves this shit. He called it like ridiculous. It's so ridiculous that they won't make the schedule until they know what I'm gonna do. But I'm sorry, LeBron, he you love that shit. He lives for it. Now he's gonna take even fucking longer. If I were Adam, I'd be like, damn, I shouldn't have said that because now he's gonna take even even longer, knowing we're all waiting on him. LeBron loves this shit. Are you joking? Like he's eating it up. Like I love this for him. Okay, the next NBA story I gotta tell the girls is Bam out of bio. Bam out of bio. So let me set the scene for you. Bam out of bio, you might know him as Asia Wilson's boyfriend, okay? He plays for the Miami Heat, and he's kind of like their star ever since Jimmy Butler hasn't been playing for the Miami Heat anymore, right? Bam, well, okay, let's back it up. He's been their star ever since Jimmy Butler hasn't been playing for the Miami Heat anymore, right? Tyler Hero also plays for the Miami Heat. Where will you know him from? The Jack Harlow song. The ones that hate me the most look just like me. You tell me what that means. Still trying to figure out what that means, but that's neither here nor there. Tyler Hero is the guy from the Jack Carlo song, okay? And he's dating the big booty girl from Instagram. And I don't mean that to demean her. I just used to follow her and she would post workouts and stuff, and it's yeah, wow. Excellent work there. But, anyways, so that's Tyler Hero. So that's who these two men are. Asia Wilson's boyfriend, guy from the Jack Carlo song, dating beautiful woman. Yes. Actually, I think they might be married now with a kid, but I don't wanna go too far. So that's that none of this is relevant to the story. I'm just trying to tell you who these men are. Both played together for the Miami Heat. There's rumblings that the Miami Heat are gonna do something in the offseason. They're gonna do something, they're gonna shake shit up, they're gonna figure things out. Tyler Hero removes the Miami Heat from his bio. I think he like archived photos of them. Like, men are so fucking dramatic. I can't, like, just so fucking dramatic. Like, I can't. Just like I can't, anyways. So everybody's thinking he don't want to play there anymore, anyways. But he probably just knew her through the grapevine that they're like, please take Tyler. Fuck. If you please, we'll take anybody. But the Miami Heat ended up end up getting their wish. They get Giannis on Tacumpo. Part of that trade is Tyler Hero. The ones that hate me the most live in Milwaukee. I don't know. You tell me what that means. He moves to Milwaukee. Now the my actually, I don't know what ended up happening to him. I think they moved him to Milwaukee. The point is they got rid of him to get Giannis. Okay. Some DMs, I guess, leaked of Tyler Hero talking shit about Bam out of bio. Basically saying, why is an elite defensive player getting paid $60 million a year? He's basically pocket checking him. He's basically playing in his purse. Oh, wait, that wasn't a sound effect, y'all. That was real thunder. Ooh, ooh. He was basically playing in his purse, looking at his wallet, like, what's what the fuck? Where you get all that from? Saying, you know, why is he getting paid so fucking much? Okay. Alright, all right, Tyler. Got a little dip on your chip. All right, Jack Harlow song. Alright. So Tyler was being shady towards Bam, basically, social media-wise. Okay. At Summer League in Vegas, Bam allegedly, kinda, kind of allegedly, clocked his shit, rocked his shit, punched him in the face. And here's my thing, y'all. I'm not mad. Talk shit, get hit. And I think, here's my thing. I think my personal generation, because we I don't want to sound like I'm inciting violence, but because we have because of this, because of that phone, we didn't get enough experiences. I think my generation was the last generation to have experiences where you will get your shit rocked if you talk crazy about somebody. Like you can't just like, you can't just like comment something mean about someone and then turn your phone off and think that you're not gonna get your shit rocked. I think normalize punching people in the face when they talk shit about you. Because what the fuck? And you talking about my money, bitch? Who? Who the fuck? You're talking about my job. Like, who do you think you're playing in my fucking pockets? Me, I'm trying to, I'm trying to, I'm trying to marry Asia Wilson and you playing in my fucking pockets. Absolutely not. I don't know. I think, you know, talk shit, get hit. Bam apparently rocked his shit. I don't know, allegedly. But the NBA said I saw nothing. Because the NBA isn't punishing either of them. As they shouldn't. It's not the season. None of us actually saw it. At least I didn't see any leaked video of it. So is the Thunder a paid actor? Alright. Next NBA story I want to talk about is the Kawhi Leonard scandal and why his trade is frozen. Okay, so basically, Kawhi Leonard got traded from the Clippers to the Toronto Raptors, but the league froze the deal to finish investigating the Clippers. Kawhi was basically trying to escape, beat the case. He was trying to escape the case, okay? The Clippers have been accused of allegedly, I'm not trying to get sued. You know, the Clippers already banned me. Those of you who follow me already know the Clippers already banned my ass. So I I'm not trying to get sued or nothing, but the Clippers allegedly cheated the salary cap. They basically, teams are only allowed to spend so much money, they have a budget for how much money they're allowed to spend on talent, on players. It's supposed to keep things fair. Like so the richest team isn't just the best team, okay? The Clippers basically want to kawaii leonard so fucking bad that they said, hey, here's what we're willing to do for you. We're willing to pay you this much because of the salary cap. Like they can know, we're paying you more. All right? Get you all this talent, pay them as well, and then we're gonna slide you some money under the table, okay? Through a brand deal with a company that like was shady. That's basically the point. Okay. So Kawhi had reported uh 28 mil had a reported 28 million dollar endorsement deal with a company called Aspiration, which is now bankrupt, okay? It was a carbon credits and tree planting startup that the Clippers owner Steve Ballmer had invested in. The catch was it was elite allegedly a no-show deal. Kawhi basically did nothing for the money. Not a post, not a commercial. He just got $28 million from this company. Okay. The Athletic found a scrapped ad concept with where Kawhi was going to play a groot-like tree character, and an aspiration employee was reportedly told to stop thinking about Kawhi because this feels like a dead end. So the rumor in theory is that the team funnel him extra money under the table to get around the salary cap. The probe has since expanded to other possible hidden payments, and Toronto is basically inherenting whichever punishment the NBA hands down. Now here's the thing: they have to pause this trade because they're like, uh-uh-uh-uh, you're not about to, you're not about to leave the Clippers where we're investigating yo ass and go to Toronto and like stay, we're not gonna like, you know, tie this loose end. So that's why the trade is frozen. Hopefully that makes sense. Now I want to talk about the Espies, which aired this week. This is basically the sports award show, okay? And honestly, the girls ate, like the outfits were really good. You should go look them up. But it was hosted by Marcelo Hernandez, which is basically like the SNL internet boyfriend, you know. Y'all seen him. Isn't he? What's what the fuck is the name of the song? What is the song? You guys know the song. It was Ariana Grande, right? And it was like espresso, and he was like, it wasn't Marcella Domingo! Thank you, Domingo. He's Domingo. Best woman's athlete was Asia Wilson, as she fucking should be. If there's like any award, she should get it. Best men's athlete was Jalen Brunson. Best team, the New York Knicks, who won the NBA finals. Best play was OG OG Ananobi's tip in to win game four of the NBA finals. And the breakthrough athlete of the year was figure skater Alyssa Liu, who also looked absolutely incredible. Some of the crying moments of the night. One-handed MLB legend Jim Abbott got the Jimmy V Award, and a Coast Guard rescuer got the Pat Tillman Award for saving approximately 200 people in the Texas Hill Country Flood. He got a standing ovation, it was full of tears. Very, very beautiful moment. So congratulations to everyone who won S F's. I love that for you. Okay, and then some quick hit things I want to get into. The WNBA All-Star Weekend, or I should say, the WNBA All-Star Game is next weekend in Chicago. And of course I'm gonna be there. Bitch, of course I'm gonna be there. Of course I'm gonna be there. Shottown, baby. Of course I'm gonna be there. It's July 24th and 25th in Chicago. We've got Team Clark and Asia Wilson versus Team Paige Beckers and Stewie. Um, and the delicious subplot that people are talking about because they drag every Caitlin Clark story is Cheryl Reeve, the coach who is be who is being held responsible in the court of public opinion for leaving Caitlin Clark off the Olympic team, now is coaching her in the all-star game. Whew! That is everything that happened in sports this week. You guys, I I'm stressed out. I think my favorite story of the week is LeBron James holding the whole NBA schedule back. So I'm curious to see what you guys' favorite is because wow. Um, thank you so much for watching another episode of Hoops for Hoddies Live.
