Death by a Thousand Books
Welcome to Death by a Thousand Books podcast!š
Every episode starts with a book review and ends with a Taylor Swift song. Itās a podcast for book lovers, Swifties and everyone in between. Together, we deep dive into characters, plots and the best moments from our favorite books. Then I use my swiftie power to breakdown songs & lyrics that I think would fit that book best. For any newbies who are just getting into reading, this podcast might be the perfect place to start your tbr! (and if you donāt know what a tbr is, donāt worry youāll get there).
Whether youāve been here from the beginning or just tuning in, Iām happy youāre here!! I started this podcast because I could talk for hours endlessly about two things: books & Taylor Swift. So I found a way to combine my love for both. I have always wanted to be a part of the book community but had no idea where to start. If even just one person picks up a new book after listening to one of these episodes, Iāll be happy. Itās been such a fun experience reading & recording these episodes, releasing them and finding those people that geek out over this idea as much as I do.š¤

It Ends with Us (movie review)šø
You knew it was coming⦠i couldnāt resist. Blake Lively was an amazing Lily Bloom, and I did enjoy this movie but I enjoyed even more talking about it in this episode. Iām calling it the redemption episode for It Ends with Us because I š© on this book (and the behind the scenes movie photos) in previous episodes so I have a new outlook that Iām excited to share with you!
Your episode breakdown includes: a recap of my initial thoughts on the book 2 years ago (which was the second episode ever published on this podcast), the marketing and publicity that this book has received, along with interviews, casting, my thoughts on the film, and of the book-film differences that I noticed/liked/disliked. Thereās so much more that Iām missing and this is just the beginning, but the take away is that you should definitely go read the book. No movie adaptation can capture every detail that the fans want, and as a standalone I think that the movie is good and well done. Itās just not the same.
