Befriending the Uncomfortable

In this episode of Explore Beyond, I’m talking about something that’s been showing up a lot in my life lately discomfort.
As we move into a new year, change is inevitable. New goals, evolving businesses, unfamiliar choices, unexpected transitions all of it can bring discomfort to the surface. And for a long time, my instinct was to run from it as fast as I could.
Today, I’m sharing how that relationship has shifted.
We explore what it looks like to:
- Notice discomfort instead of pushing it away
- Tune into where it lives in the body
- Understand the energy behind it
- Stay present without forcing a quick fix
- Let discomfort soften, rather than control our choices
Drawing from conscious leadership practices, personal travel experiences, and real moments from my own life, this episode is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and gently be with what’s here.
If you’re navigating change, growth, fear, or something new that feels uncomfortable this conversation is for you.
No pressure to do it perfectly.
Just an invitation to stay.
